Is it safe to say that officially, Asuka is the first and currently the only Guilty Gear character who be able to survive and breathe in outer space? The fact that he is on the moon away from Earth is impressive without a space suit, not surprising but still impressive.

To clarify, the Project Tír na nÓg is a Space Colony built ON the Moon that was built back during the Crusades as a sort of base to house the White House in case of emergency.

Tír na nÓg means "Land of the Young" in Irish, and is the Celtic equivalent of a Netherworld or Otherworld (for Deities and the Dead).

While it's true that Asuka can transport himself to and from Outer Space (and even to the Backyard's Dense Space), he still needs "artificial space" to breathe oxygen, though it is the Magic equivalent of a Space Suit, made primarily of dense mana.

The Cube he created back in 2186 (GG2 Overture's events) was just one of many experiments involving testing the viability of the Backyard's space, not just for storing information or Magic, but also a personal living space for Asuka in times where he needed to be somewhere that wasn't Earth.

In fact that's where he invited Axl Low at one point.

Unlike the Cube or other Artificial spaces, though, Tír na nÓg itself was built using more conventional Scientific ideas: a garden to house space-grown crops, a library and database for storing information, and even an observatory with a telescope.

Originally the Space Colony was built to house at least 500 people, though because of the Crusades, many people forgot it even existed (even Erica Bartholomew thought it was a myth), despite the fact it has such advanced facilities. So in a sense it is still classified as "Blacktech" a forgotten War Relic from times when Mankind still used advanced technology despite the threat of the Universal Will.

According to Zato and Millia's P.W.A.B. Intel, the Conclave were partly responsible for its construction, though the construction itself was registered under the United Kingdoms of Illyria, despite being a centuries-old American Military Secret (strangely enough, Illyria is credited for the Colony's construction, even though Illyria as a Nation itself did not become officially established until 2183, nearly 100 years after the base and White House were built).

Despite still being considered a Blacktech War Relic, Asuka uses it as a Bastion of Defense to protect himself and the Tome of Origin from falling in to the hands of others for their own personal gain.

Though it is still somewhat unclear how the United States Government is interpreting and allowing his use of the space colony, at the very least they've established that he has no intentions of using it for any bad purposes (given the intentions he laid out in his presentation at the G4 Summit).

As a side note, this isn't the first time Space Technology was built during the Crusades, as the Mothership (a Gear Terraforming Project) was built and destroyed some time ago as well (GGXtra's events).

I don’t know if anyone realizes just how weirdly valid the lore around Jesus’ Corpse in SBR is cuz the Catholic Church has a long ass history of ascribing power to the corpses of saints. Relics (or literally just parts of corpses from saints) were a super important part of Catholic tradition and they had very real miraculous inexplicable qualities according to theologians of the time. I can’t help but think of a stand ability when I read a story of how the arm of John the Baptist never rotted, bled fresh blood, grew new flesh, brought divine protection to anyone who wields it and burned like an ember when you held it.

have super torn through the materials from the $bp, nice to make good progress on some characters though (like march/himeko/yukong and their light cones as I mentioned earlier). also did a ton more work again on evaluating relics. making sure to max out any gold ones that have 2+ needed substats. been trying to be conservative with the resources but that's holding my characters back, they're weak bc of low relics. so i think i've been too picky waiting. so yeah, so long as it's got the right main stat and at least 2 substats, i'm upgrading.

also then had to take a ton of time to do more with salvaging to then generate more of the material, and i really struggle with salvaging what really isn't a great item vs but what if a future character needs it or what if a 2/4 pc bonus combines with unexpected stats and gets recommended in the guides, like i wouldn't have suspected healing stats being needed on what looks to be non healing relic types. so hard to know what's trash and what the guides are going to suddenly say is useful. (and jfc is everyone going to end up in hackerspace?)

but doing my best. trying to use mats and not just hoard them for 'just in case' when characters need them now and i can tell it's why i'm so much weaker than other players. and trying to learn, like i know it takes me so much longer to pick up this information (just finally getting to where i understand pity and 50-50). wish there were a bit more info on this stuff for those of us who're new to hoyo games (like my dabbling in genshin never got me to gearing and evaluating stats so sr is basically my first).

not that many levels left on the battle passes, i'm in the 40s, so yeah, it'll be a bummer when that dries up. bc there's quite a while left before the new one.

Beryl is a Grade 1 sorcerer, having both proven her worth and refined her skill through combat. She is largely reserved, especially on matters of her past. Most inquiries into the history that forged her are met with silence. Her stoicism is worn like armor, composed and seemingly unaffected by the world around her.  

As for how she came to be a sorcerer, it is simply the result of necessity. An inevitability. A more romantic notion would be that of fate. But after her family falls victim to a certain cursed spirit that her bloodline has ties to, she is forced to take matters into her own hands. Her gifts as a sorcerer are both a blessing and a curse. How fortunate that she has the ability to defend herself, and yet despite such after, she suffers the misfortune that is the failure to protect that which she holds dear. 

The quest for answers results in encounter after encounter. Where one cursed spirit falls, another two rise to take its place. A pesky hydra, a constant flow of conflict to sharpen her abilities. The results of her efforts remain inconclusive, the fate of those she cares for hanging in the balance. The balance weighs heavily upon her shoulders. But it is a weight she must bear. Her lineage and a lost history are unveiled as the truth unravels. 

Her only desire is that the answer that lies at the end of the path is one of hope and not of despair.

Chapter 20: The Winds of Change

For their second crusade into Anchordeep, Lambert and Narinder have the (unfortunate) experience of running into Midas. Pushing into the God of Death for information about his past with his siblings -of Kallamar's former life and a treasury resembling a ballroom- proves to have consequences when Narinder starts to pry into their own.

When coming upon a relic, he offers them an opportunity they would not have expected from him: teaching them how to absorb divinity like the old gods have, and to restore their ability to cast curses.

In every scenario, there is a notable change. Emotionally, how they speak, physically even.

The Lamb is scolded by a rabbit for losing sleep. The God of Death is listening more than they are aware. A duo returns to the cult grounds after missing for over a month.

the depopulation of the palestinian village of kawkab al-hawa (“the star of the jordan river”) is far from the only case in which a palestinian village was violently, entirely depopulated during the 1948 nakba. it's also not the only case in which neighboring kibbutz residents advocated for and even themselves participated in the destruction of houses, nor is it the only case in which elements of the village were only kept so they could serve a neighboring tourist attraction. however, it is a conspicuous case of all of the above, combined.

kawkab al-hawa happens to sit by belvoir castle, one of the best-preserved crusader castles in palestine. the village itself had been testified to in some shape or form from antiquity - the crusaders had referred to the village with the frankish name "belvoir", hence the name of the castle. after saladin retook it, the village as we know it today expanded into and around the castle's confines. by 1945, the castle had been in ruins for centuries, while the rural village housed 300, mostly farmers.

PREDICTION FOR 2025-2039:

Neptune in Aries could bring pioneering visions that reach into every part of society, with lots of new ideas and progressive thinking. There could be idealistic revolutions and social activism, visionary rebellions, crusades for truth and religious wars. Wars may be fought based on lies and deception (nothing new there then), or fought with bioweapons, chemicals and viruses.

At best, Neptune could inspire compassionate action and leadership that takes us away from the potential for war. But it could just as easily reveal the corruption and weakness of leaders that create power vacuums and trigger war by accident.

There may also be a massive loss of faith in leadership, a loss of belief in the nation or the system. People could turn away from the system out of disillusionment or even boredom, and lose themselves in escapist pursuits, like gaming or virtual reality.
