So how does the ice curse on Carrow works exactly if you dont mind me asking? Is it slowly and surely seeping into her body? Is it freezing her over? Is she concious during it? Does the texture of the iced part different than normal cookie body? If you just cut off the infected part would that work orrrr?

The ice slowly grows across her body in a parasitic fashion. While her arm was merely the one thing Cacao froze, it’s at risk of spreading. It’s also not just ice that’s affecting her: there’s an energy-draining darkness imbued in it. Carrow is conscious, she’s aware that Crunchy Chip is taking care of her and looking for help, but she frequently lapses in and out of unconsciousness too.

Technically yes, cutting off the infected part would work; but one, you’d have to work fast before it spreads to a place you don’t want removed, and two, there’s no way Chip wants to amputate the ex-First Watcher’s arm before finding any other solution. He’ll find a different way, he promises.

i present to you the Weird Family, featuring crunchy chip, his cousin from the republic, crème choco, and his two adoptive siblings, royal icing and snickerdoodle

we've also got some caramel arrow, carraisin, affogeezer, some obligatory canon-adhering golden cheese, and even a costume for royal icing (if they were recognized for their noble lineage in the republic)

i forcibly taught myself how to draw carrow and crunchy chip just today and black raisin a few days ago so Win! i win at Cookie!
