Sitting here watching s2xe5 and it’s the scene where Crowley is asking Aziraphale why his French is so bad and he says “I went to Monsieur Rossignol’s night classes in 1760”.

I decided to Google if this was a real person since the name wasn’t familiar to me, and instead I had my giant gay heart stomped on by Neil Gaiman once again.

The French word for nightingale: Rossignol

It’s the language of romance and Aziraphale took night classes with a Mr. Nightingale. I CAN’T BREATHE.

This scene was so domestic, do you see how comfortable they both are? Crowley is literally leaning into aziraphale

Not to mention the entire context of the scene they’re greeting a guest together because it’s their home

It's so important to me that Aziraphale lingered on Crowley's face in this scene, and he looked confused when Crowley looked away, despite the priest lady speaking to the both of them. He really wasn't paying attention to anything in this scene, only the fact that Crkwley was looking at him and inches away from his lips, and then focusing on the fact that Crowley stopped looking at him

This may be one of my absolute favorite micro-interactions in the earlier part of the first series. Crowley has just agreed to drive Anathema back and let Aziraphale make changes to the Bentley for the sake of it.

Crowley's face is giving a very silly, "Are you happy now, Angel?"

And Aziraphale's expression reads as, "Why yes, I actually am quite happy, now that you mention it."

I just found out that Good Omens was possibly going to be a film back in 1992, and because I think I was INEFFABLE for Michael and David to play Aziraphale and Crowley.

Imagine them in there early 20s and it being their breakout roles.

BUT.

In the end. I'm very grateful we got our Angel and Demon with their beautiful forehead wrinkles, crow's feet and laugh lines. I love these men and their aged faces.

It's something about this scene and how the Angel who would become Crowley can't create the universe alone. He needs a partner.

It's something about this scene and how Aziraphale, while holding the plans, asks "which way up does it go?" and Crowley simply dismisses the question and says "just hold it tight" because to Crowley there is no difference between up and down, or Heaven and Hell, it's all the same.

It's something about this scene and how Aziraphale holds the plans right in front of his heart for Crowley to "prime the engine" and how maybe what Crowley was jumpstarting in that moment wasn't only the nebula, but also love in the universe (not to mention the colors, a smattering of reds and blues and pinks).

And it’s something about this show and how it manages to do all that within the first two minutes of the first episode of season 2....

i might be delusional but i s w e a r you can see Aziraphale starting to melt into Crowley for a s e c o n d but he realizes the situation and pushes him away and im just im not okay

lil edit: thanks to replies/reblogs and way too many rewatches, i have realized it's actually Crowley that lets go which is honestly even worse

Aziraphale didn't seem to want to let go and wanted to stay in the moment then just spirals when it's over

The thing I love most about the chest touch in the bar in S2 is he didn’t just touch Crowley he SLID HIS HAND DOWN HIS CHEST and Crowley just pops to attention and looks directly at Aziraphale
