Since I keep seeing people talking about American Horror Story and Kim Kardashian, I'd like to stop and remind everyone that Kim Kardashian is a SCAB and so is everyone who worked on AHS after the Strike was called. Show Runner Ryan Murphy is a SCAB. Everyone who filmed even a minute after the Strike was called is a SCAB.
Still confused about what a Scab is?

FUCK SCABS.

I was in a conversation with someone the other day about this topic and I am now curious -- I know Scabby the Rat originated in Chicago and has a presence in other major American cities but I'm not sure how many people are actually super familiar with him, so: without doing any research...
Once you've voted (and reblogged because you all know how this works) please enjoy this photo gallery of Scabby Across America.

So.... why'd Peri get assigned Dev as his first godchild?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jorgen鈥檚 usually not the one in charge of assigning godchildren. There鈥檚 an entire department that weighs and classifies potentail Godkids to the right Fairy. Although it鈥檚 on strike at the moment.
So Jorgen has to do it by hand, until the union negotiations are resolved. Turns out trying to use paperclips is very hard. Itty bitty paperclips. Big muscular biceps. Not a good combo.

I finished watching Dungeon Meshi today. Chilchuck reminds me of my old union advisor. I'm not sure if there's a correlation.

Regarding the canada post strike:
PEOPLE NEED TO STAND WITH CUPW
Read their demands, its far from outrageous or impossible like canada post and so many others are making them out to be. Like asking that weekends be staffed with full time staff and not part timers! Like asking to have lunch provided for rural workers!
Also, to anyone buying into the bs about canada post not being able to pay postal workers more: look up how much the exects make and use any and all critical thinking you got.
- signed a canadian who is livid at how the media has been portraying the strike
thank you so much! it pisses me off to see how it's been portrayed, too. i'm not canadian, but my best friend is and i'm pissed that people don't care more. postal workers keep everything running, from every last government establishment to the smallest of businesses... respect their demands for better treatment in the workplace. these people go through absolutely brutal working conditions in order to get people their mail.
here is some information on how you can support and educate yourself on the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), picket line locations, as well as resources for Canada Post workers who are currently dealing with poor workplace situations and rights:

My local grocery store is striking.
My local Kroger's is on strike, and this Bitch is NOT crossing the picket line. Instead, I've driven by honking and waving to show my support every day for the past 3 days. But this is by no means the only way to support a labor strike! Here's how:
1. Never cross a picket line
2. Spread the word about the labor strike
3. Reward competitors for good behavior

Perhaps this is too cynical but whenever someone gets obsessive over whether the fiction and games they enjoy precisely match their politics I begin to doubt that they live out those same values in the real world to the best of their reasonable ability.

Jacob never should have taken the role for Kinich when his original voice actor had never officially left the job and was still striking.
Jacob is not Japanese and he doesn't work for an Asian distributing company. He is from Texas and just happens to live in Japan, and still does English voice acting work distributed in America. He should have been educated about the strike and he should not have taken that job.
Bite me, anti-union hoyoverse bros.

In case you haven't heard, the NYT Tech Guild is on strike and trying to get a fair contract.
They are asking us to support their picket line by NOT using the NYT Games or Cooking Apps.
