An event suggestion: Fanbruary

So NaNo put its foot in it and I'm uncomfortable with things as they are. I'm all for growth and admitting they made a mistake but unless I've missed something that's not what's happening. (The very short version is: NaNo as a corporation has accepted AI, including taking money from an AI company as of 9/4/24.)

I'm not even angry, I'm just disappointed. That's a lie I'm a little angry and a lot betrayed.

Anyway, what if we hold our own event? Fanbruary? We could even arrange a community and discord around it, and have tiers based off wordcount goals.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT FANDOM LOCKED!!! Anyone can participate as long as they're polite and obey some minimal rules about kindness and good sense.

HOLOLIVE X WORDGIRL HEADCANNON TIME LETS GOOOO (Tobey McCallister III and Roboco-San)

Hello people! As a member of both the Hololive and WordGirl fandom, I've made a few cross-fandom headcannons and I've wanted to share my fav one. It contains Tobey McCallister III (WordGirl) and Roboco-San (Hololive Gen0). Since Tobey LOVES robots and his whole thing is that he builds them, and Roboco-San is a robot, I instantly started headcannoning things. Time to start the headcannon thing lmao.

If Tobey ever met Roboco-San, he'd definitely try to get her to do villain stuff with him (become allies with him), considering shes a robot. And after she agrees, he would add little things to her system and whatnot. I also feel like once Tobey meets Roboco-San. He'd be fascinated. I feel like he'd never seen a robot like her before, and he would become hooked. Thinking he could use Roboco-San to destroy WordGirl, thinking she hadn't seen a thing like Roboco-San before. And since we've seen Tobey's robots have emotions and interests in some episodes, I feel like once Tobeys robots meet Roboco-San, they'd be infatuated with her, some even fall in love with her. It gets to the point where Tobey has to scold them often for fawning over Roboco-San and for not focusing on destruction, chaos, etc. I also feel like Tobey would watch all Roboco-San's streams, and he'd brag to all the other villains of Fair City about how he got a popular streamer to team up with him to destroy WordGirl.

(Also: Bonus headcannon thing, I feel like at all of Roboco-San's concerts/performances, wether it be Holofes, Concerts on her channel, etc. Tobey would show up to each and every concert. He'll even bring his robots there so they can all cheer her on. Tobey would feel like a proud dad or relative at each of her shows.)

New Fic Series: The Goddess' Roulette

Summary: By the time Genesis was healed, the world had been ruined three times over and was barely hanging on. Seeing an opportunity, he offered his life and blessed powers as a WEAPON of the Planet for one chance to change things.  Now he’s on a whirlwind ride across space and time to become a version of himself Minerva believes is capable of doing the job.

Just wanted to let you know, I started the first fic in this series (largely because it was planned and no other fics were cooperating) -- and it's where it all starts, with Genesis and Minerva post-Deepground. This series is going to be fun, but also require some hefty work and returning to old friends media. Not a hardship, but time consuming.

The premise is this: Genesis is willing to give everything to change the fate of Gaia, to do things right, to fix what he sees as his most grievous sins that set off a snowball leading to the massive damages to the Planet. (He's not entirely wrong.)

As far as Minerva is concerned, he's not ready for that yet. He needs time to gain skills and maturity -- and he will gain these by going to other worlds and helping other people. The people include, in fandom order:

DBZ's Son Goku

FF9's Garnet til Alexandros

FF15's Ardyn Izunia

MCU's Tony Stark

Sailor Moon's Usagi Tsukino

SWTOR's Barsen'thor (my player character OC)

This isn't the order I'll be starting in, I may actually add / subtract others, too. I'd really love to tuck Threads of Fate (Dewprism) in there, and I'm tempted to add Revan (KOTOR) though I'd also prefer not to double up fandoms. Idk.

For each of these, he has something to give, and something to learn. They'll all be posted as separate fics, of course, but I do advise reading all of them. I mean, come on guys, it's me. If you're here because you like my writing doesn't it stand to reason you'd like my writing in other fandoms? ;)

Anyway after allllllll that, he goes back in time to Gaia to deal not only with ShinRa and its scientists, but with Jenova in a final fic.

It's ambitious. It's a little crazy. It's a series of stories I have wanted to tell for an age, so I will and hopefully some of you will like it. No ETA on arrival, paying more attention to DW and WTT right now... but it's coming, be assured it is coming. (Also it's fair game for asks, I do know enough about it to answer those!)

i do! the tumblr RP scene sucked real bad for me so i moved to Dreamwidth for my RP fix...i was in a monster transformation horror RP game for a little over 2 years (playing Lusamine as a faerie and Shoka TWEWY as a kelpie), but the game has since ended

i'm now in a new RP game that's based on PMD and i've been having fun with it so far :)

So, Infold clearly has my number because some of these men are so perfectly tailored to me that I often wonder if they’re streaming the inside of my brain to the creative team, but lately Sylus has really been taking the cake (haha, birthday pun I know I’m lame).

I’m still a pretty new player so to avoid spoiling myself I’m not going to list the specific “versions” of the character that we’ve been treated to, but the whole “gothic, dark, crime lord romance -turned - devoted and worshipful green flag loverboy in disguise” is really making me feel some sort of way. And then I had a devastating thought.

HOLOLIVE X WORDGIRL HEADCANNON PART TWO LETS GOOO (Dr. Two Brains and Hakos Baelz) (FT: The henchmen and Mr. Squeaks)

Heya people! Last time I did this, some of yall liked it so I'm doing a pt two with another one of my hololive x wordgirl headcannons! (For people new to this/hasn't seen my first post on this, It's basically how I think characters in the hololive and wordgirl universes would interact with each other.)

This silly thing is with my HC of Dr. Two Brains (WordGirl) and Hakos Baelz (HololiveEN, Council/Promise) Who I'll be calling "Bae" for the rest of this post (Bae is the nickname of Hakos Baelz). So for starters, I feel like if Dr. Two Brains and Bae met, they'd be a little standoff-ish at first. Considering D2B is a mouse, and Bae is a rat. We've seen D2B's mouse brain "act up" when rats are mentioned by D2B so that's why I think this. After their "standoff era" I feel like they'd be amazing friends! Considering D2B is a villain (The #1 Villain of Fair City at that) and Bae is LITERALLY CHAOS, they'd get along REALLY well. They would commit crimes and eat cheese together. Also, I think if D2B let the mouse brain take over and became Squeaky, him and Mr.Squeaks (The rat on top of Bae's head) would get along well. I also feel like Bae would REALLY like the Squeaky side of D2B, Considering he's more unhinged and chaotic. The SECOND he let's the mouse brain take over, him and Bae go on a MASSIVE crime spree. And WordGirl does NOT enjoy it, obviously. (Also silly HC about when WordGirl goes to their crime sprees, Bae throws a crap ton of dice at her, mainly at her face).

I also feel like D2B would share some of the cheese him and Bae get on their crimes with Mr. Squeaks, Mr. Squeaks grows VERY fond of D2B because of this.

Once the henchmen meet Bae, they're instantly confused. Mainly by the fact she didn't become a rat or anything from an experiment or a freak accident like D2B did and she was actually born like that. But then after they get over their confusion, they become close friends. The henchmen really like Bae's outgoing personality and hyperness. Bae also inspires the henchmen to put all the effort they can into the crimes they do with D2B. And her inspiration works, they put a lot more effort and energy into the crimes. This causes their crime succession to rise.

D2B would definitely pop into Bae's streams from time to time. Sending her silly superchats (the money being stolen from the bank usually). When she does karaoke streams, 3D concerts, D2B gets VERY excited. Usually singing along with the stream. He also forces the henchmen to watch, they don't usually mind though as they enjoy the streams. When Bae releases a new song, D2B INSTANTLY listens to it. He forces the henchmen to listen to it. He will also probably hum the new song for WEEKS.

Now, when Bae has a real life concert (Holofes, convention appearance, Connect the world/breaking dimensions, etc) D2B will do EVERYTHING he can to get three tickets, one for him, two for the henchmen. (The way he usually gets these tickets are from a crime.) And when the concert day comes, you will probably see him and the henchmen in full on Bae merchandise. All you'll see is Bae merchandise from their heads to their toes. And once Bae does her performance(s), D2B cheers for Bae HARD. He cheers for her like his life depends on it. He does all the chants (if there are any), penlight movements, etc. He also gets mad at the henchmen if he thinks they aren't cheering Bae on hard enough.
