I'm now up to date on Critical Role

I started campain 1 on November 12th of 2021 and finished it on February 15th 2023.

I watched campain 2 from February 22nd to July 25th.

It took me from August 12th to November 15th to watch the 77 episodes of campain 3 that are currently out.

I am intending to watch thext episode live this Friday at 1pm, this is something I never thought I'd be able to do.

I don't know what to say really, just wow.

Being able to join in with the online community more and more these past few months, as I have had less spoilers to avoid, has meant the world to me. I'm just genuinely happy now. I'm happy to check my tumbler and see people interacting with my posts. I'm happy thinking about various imodna fanfiction I read. I'm just happy.

i haven't seen this being talked about a lot (but tbf, c2 ended a few years ago and most have been through it several times) so i just need to say 

(spoilers beneath the cut for those who haven't watched) 

the absolute presence that Taliesin has when he's both Molly and Caduceus in c2 is unmatched. i'm in awe at the influence he's had on the rest of the Mighty Nein, either as Molly or as Caduceus. ep140 just shows the incredible influence Molly has had on the group. how hard they fight for him to live again, to join them again after he was taken from them all too soon.

and the kicker is Taliesin himself being the one to revive his first character of the campaign with his second character, with a successful Divine Intervention. mind you, Divine Intervention has a low success rate in general, so it's fuckin insane that Caduceus managed to get TWO successful Divine Interventions in one campaign, and he did FIVE total.

i remember starting out the campaign, seeing Molly die and Caduceus being his successor, i didn't really have much thoughts about our tall firbolg grave cleric, but fuck man. he's an amazing character, dare i say my favorite of the campaign. i love my girlies to bits, but Caduceus is just on a whole other level.

caring, compassionate, pretty much always has the perfect thing to say at the right time, and is an all round impressive character. thank you Taliesin fucking Jaffe for blessing us with not one, but two amazing characters in c2. they're immeasurable, invaluable, incredible.

I started picking up autistic traits in Caleb shortly before I started questioning if I have autism and picking them up in myself. As someone who also has PTSD I loved watching Caleb. I know Liam didn't intend to make him autistic, but I think he was portrayed really well.

Me, one year ago seeing people headcanoning Caleb Widogast as autistic: I guess I can understand why people would want to think that but it doesn’t really make sense to me, I mean I have a lot of those traits that people are saying he’s autistic for and I’m certainly not autistic.

Me now after finding out I am, in fact autistic because of said traits: Ah, I get it now.

I don’t know the plans of Critical Role, but this arc is so smelly, in a good way :)
