For me, it's Henry Cavill as Aegon the Conqueror and Katheryn Winnick as Visenya that drives me nuts. 🙄🙄🙄

I don't mind Katheryn Winnick as Visenya as much because I feel like she does have the vibe, but I do understand that she's been very overused and that can annoy a lot of people, especially when people only use the same five scenes. Honestly it's a shame that Amber Heard has never done period pieces because that one art of the Conquerors has Visenya as an absolute dead ringer for Amber, who is not only hot but talented enough to pull of Visenya's complexities.

Henry Cavill as Aegon makes no sense when it's clear that Henry Cavill is Orys Baratheon, there are four seasons of The Tudors to pull from that have him soooooo Baratheon coded, it's why he's constantly fancasted as literally every possible member of House Baratheon there is. Fancasting for Aegon is always hard because I feel that nobody ever really gets it right, but there have been some gifsets where I've really enjoyed the people they've chosen, and I think in those it's generally Kirill Zaytsev or Kivanc Tatlitug that they use.

Also, never was into Rosamund Pike as Rhaenys. I love her as an actress, but she's just not Rhaenys to me.

I have notes but there's literally no context besides random shit written down and I figure it would be criminal to not share this absolute trainwreck with everyone so here it is... Tom Hiddleston as Sirius Black

Tom Hiddleston would be a good option to play Sirius Black. He has the capability of having a boyish attitude and sass that Sirius has become known for. Also, Adam. Nuff said.

Rami Malek as James Potter

Look at him. He also has the capability of coming up with that sass and attitude. Imagine him riding a broomstick in a quidditch uniform and that is all.

Robert Sheehan as Remus Lupin

This man could play all of the characters, but he is best suited for Remus Lupin. Unkempt look but in an attractive way. Looks like he could be a werewolf. A lot of the same Remus Lupin mannerisms.

Andrew Scott as Peter Pettigrew

A short little Irish man with a very good skill for acting a villain that's cunning and sneaky and that's why he would be a good option. He would be a very good actor to portray the change from friend to enemy.

Slytherin Skittles

Aidan Gallagher as Regulus Black

Aidan Gallagher has the capability to play an angsty character who's a little bit evil and a little bit good all rolled into one. He's also just got the look and the vibe that Regulus is kind of become known for.

David Tennant as Barty Crouch Jr.

This is partially because when he played Barty in the 4th movie, he didn't get nearly enough screen time in my opinion but the other part of it is because, after watching lots of his filmography, I seriously can't think of anyone better to play it. Unfortunately we would need to make him like 30 years younger and we don't have a time machine.

Michael Sheen as Evan Rosier

I told you it would be chaotic. Maybe it's because I can't see David Tennant without Michael Sheen anymore after GO and Staged but he's also quite similar to Evan in my mind and I think he would play the character very well. Unfortunately... still no time machine tho.

Lisa Kudrow as Pandora Rosier

I mean I was watching Friends and she kinda just stuck out to me and that is why she is now Pandora. I think Lisa has the capability to play someone as wonderful, beautiful and quirky as Pandora. Also I think it would be so sweet and interesting to watch Michael and Lisa play siblings.

(I will admit and say that I don't know nearly enough about the Valkyries so my roommates were the ones that came up these)

Florence Pugh as Marlene McKinnon

I don't really think this one needs explaining but I do think she would be best to play Marlene McKinnon. She's got a fabulous look that would suit Marlene well especially with the fanart seen of her. I mean just look at her.

Nina Sosanya as Dorcas Meadowes

Nina's got the spunk and the attitude that Dorcas has. Mainly pulling from her performance in both GO1 and GO2, I think she is just the most fitting to play Dorcas and would act very well alongside David and Michael (as we've seen) but I think would act very well alongside Florence and Robert.

Emmy Raver-Lampman as Mary MacDonald

Has the capability to play a sweet character but could turn deadly and horrible in 0.5 seconds and that's stunning for her and would work very well for Mary. Also the depths from her pain and everything of her friends dying and then eventually obliviating her memory.

Scarlett Johansson as Lily Evans

Scarlett has the attitude of Lily Evans in real life and honestly she would be stunning. I could totally see James falling in love with Lily if she looked like Scarlett which is one of the main reasons we've cast her as Lily.

Now, we all think that the original fancast that is the most popular is perfect and stunning. This is just some brainrot. Anyway, that is all.

Summary - Shanda begins to lose her mind as Benjicot’s plan begins to work. Back at Stone Hedge things take a turn for the worst

Bit late but here we are!

In her room, Shanda paced. She had been pacing the better part of two hours. She was mumbling to herself as she did so. It had been days. Days of avoiding the heir of Raventree and days of wishing she’d get over herself and talk to him. He’d given her the space which was nice and maddening.

“Get a grip. Just wait until… but then…” On and on she went.

The storm had died down and her room was stuffy and humid. Despite the continued rain, she threw the window open. Breathing the cool fresh air in, she relished in the breeze. Her dress was wet with sweat and she failed to wipe the sweat out of her eyes. Her arm was just as coated, the two slick surfaces just gliding across one another. She was losing her mind. Or she had already lost it, she couldn’t decide. The bottom line was the man accusing her of attempted murder and who had inadvertently signed her death warrant, shouldn’t make her stomach flutter with a thousand butterflies.

Her door flew open, the man of the hour walking in looking concerned before he spotted her by the window, sweaty and sullen.

“What, is opening a window illegal now?” She asked, looking at her hands trying to seem disinterested.

“It is when you threaten to scale the castle walls that way.”

“So you’ve been spying on me?”

“You’re a wanted criminal my-“ He had paused abruptly, remembering at the last second not to call her lady. “My sweet baby.” He’d winked then. And she had grown red in the face, irritated with his continued open flirting.

“Your mortal enemy. Your darkest rival.”

“Is that your way of saying you’d like to roll around in the mud again? Because I will oblige if so.”

“Ugh!” She exclaimed, throwing her hands up and turning away from him. Maybe he would just go away if she ignored him.

“Do you want to go outside?” His voice was right behind her suddenly and she jumped, startled.

Of course she wanted to see something other than the stuffy four walls that she’d been looking at. But it was the principle of the thing. She didn’t want him to be nice to her and offer to take her outside, that’s not how you treat prisoners. That much she knew. Without turning around, she replied.

“Am I allowed out now? I am a wanted dangerous criminal after all. Might not be safe to let me out on the prowl.” She sounded childishly immature even to her own ears.

“You are definitely dangerous.”

He reached around her to close the window. Letting his hands linger about her waist after he’d finished. She was holding onto the windowsill for dear life when he reached up and grabbed the back of her neck.

“You know, maybe some air would be nice.” She shakily agreed, changing her mind.

Some air, some space, some fucking mental help. All of the above would have been greatly appreciated by her. She tried to imagine all of the bloody Bracken men she’d seen coming in with broken bones. Trying to summon the image of the man, standing entirely too close to her, committing acts of violence. Hoping to shock some sense into herself. Instead she just summoned the image of him covered in blood, eyes wild while he grabbed her. Coating her dress in blood before doing the same to her mouth… Get a hold of yourself! She scolded herself.

She hadn’t heard him if he’d said anything, just allowed him to lead her from the room; his hand was still on the back of her neck. Shanda had suitors before, more came and went every moon. They were boring, horrible boring men who never thought about anything interesting. Just more of the same, ledgers. Sure, counting and keeping track of records was important. But if she wanted to keep records she could stay home and manage that fine. She had records, heaps and heaps of boring records.

What she hadn’t had was a delusional man willing to shove her roughly against a surface and tell her sweetly all the reasons why she wanted him to. And now that she did, to say she’d been underprepared would be putting it lightly. Men were boring, they talked about boring things and had boring fights. Or they were bloodthirsty monsters with no redeemable traits. Benjicot was some odd third thing, psychotic definitely. But he was attentive, he noticed things about her she didn’t even think about. True, he then tried to manipulate her using those facts, but she was finding she didn’t care.

That was why she’d let him lead her out of the room with hardly a protest. If he would give her a shot, she could get across the river. She felt absolutely sure of it. He was incredibly fast and had the home field advantage but if she didn’t try now, she might not ever.

Stone Hedge was burning. Martyn was busy evacuating everyone, his lungs burned from inhaling the smoke. A nasty cough was developing in his chest and he wheezed every few inhales. He didn’t know where Royce was, presumably in the stables calming the horses. But he’d seen his father out first when the fire started. It was still unclear as to what started the fire but it had raged. Luckily for them Stone Hedge wasn’t named that for laughs and the castle hadn’t burned. Unluckily for them it had been the people and furniture that burned.

“Keep moving! We must wait for the air to clear! Keep to the right.” He occasionally barked out instructions as he guided people outside into the humid air.

Having guided that group, he went back in for a final sweep. His head was swimming at this point, climbing the stairs was a difficult task that he slugged through. He had a piece of wet cloth over his mouth and nose but his eyes watered blurring his vision as he looked. He called out, listening for any replies. When he heard nothing he would move on to the next spot. He opened windows and doors as he went, helping to air the smoke out. They’d managed to smother the worst of it and if the gods were good the rain might pick up.

Once he cleared the castle he fell down outside once in the fresh air. A violent cough gripped him for a minute, strangling him. He threw up, heaving on the ground. Someone had pulled him upright, raised his arms over his head and given him a good couple slaps on the back until he finally managed to stop. Another handed him a canteen full of water, the cool drink could’ve been an ascension to him. He drank heavily, then poured the rest into his stinging eyes.

Blinking his eyes open, he saw his companions. Royce was to his left and to his right a fellow guard.

“Donal, have we a casualty estimate yet?”

The young knight shook his head. “No one’s crazy enough to go in there yet but you I’m afraid.”

Shanda would have. Martyn felt a bolt of anguish shred him up inside at his own thoughts. He’d managed to carefully lock the thought of her up while dealing with the crisis and he was on the verge of falling apart again. The halls were empty without her and life was bleak. Royce was a ticking time bomb, a ball of rage and he was still deeply angry at Shanda.

The afternoon Royce pushed her in the river, Martyn had almost slain him. Royce had panted, watching as their sister drifted further down the river. And Martyn stood behind him, sword held aloft waiting for him to turn around. When he did, his expression was not one of shock.

“I suppose it’s only right.” He had responded, hands behind his back calmly.

Martyn had screamed, charging at him fully intending to strike. But he’d plunged the sword into the ground beside him instead and began to sob.

“Mother will never forgive you.”

“She’s dead. If we go now maybe Shanda won’t be.”

Then they ran into the Blackwood’s.

The encounter hadn’t been so bad at first. Royce had ignored their taunts and they had hardly existed to Martyn. It was when that bloody savage spoke up that things took a turn for the worst.

“Looking for your sister are you?”

Martyn had closed his eyes at the words, exhaling. They’d found her first.

“Afraid you’re too late. We caught her earlier, sneaking around and spying. Got her locked up, awaiting trial now.”

Martyn had no choice but to pull his sword at those words.

“You lie. If you have her it's because you've stolen her. She wouldn’t go over there.” He meant specifically today, as Martyn knew she definitely was going over there. But she wouldn’t today, not after being shoved in the river. He knew his sister, she would not be plotting to spy after the afternoon she’d had.

“Hm, I wonder. Wasn’t she wearing gold?” He asked his men, looking around inquisitively.

Martyn knew he was just trying to get a rise out of them but Royce was younger and had a bad chip on his shoulder about their sister presently. He had attacked first, he’d just started brawling. Martyn had no time to watch him though as his own fight had started.

Martyn was a distance fighter first and foremost, a dead shot with a bow. And he was perfectly fine with a sword, but he was useless against whatever maniac had grabbed his sword mid swing and ripped it out of his hand before flinging it away. The guy's hand was gushing blood but he just grinned on before knocking Martyn on his ass. Both him and his brother ended up in the river afterwards. After fishing himself out he had just laid there on the ground. His thoughts had spiraled out of control until Royce pulled him up and began to lead them home.

Their father had just stared at them unblinking for several minutes. He had stopped counting after three but from how heavily his brother seethed beside him it could've been hours.

“You pushed your sister in the river.” He said it as if it were the simplest thing in the world.

“You pushed your sister into the river.” It sounded worse the second time.

His father had turned his attention to Martyn waiting expectantly, disgust on his features.

“I did try to stop him. He tried to cut her head off first, we’re lucky she moved. But like you always say father, Royce could knock me to the ground on my best day. And today was no one’s best day.” He stared at the ground, eyes tearing up again.

“She’s a gods damned disgrace and we’re better off without her conniving ways around here.” Royce cut in, having decided on the worst moment to speak his mind.

“Your sister is twice as useful as you.” Their father had bitten out replying to Royce but directing it at both of them. “Get out of my face.”

Martyn had gone to guard duty, seeing nothing else to do. He could not go to sleep, maybe ever again.

That was three days ago. Now he lay on the grass under the cloudy night sky struggling to pull in air.

“It was her.” Royce said, suddenly standing.

“Huh?” Martyn replied, still half delirious but Royce was gone in an instant.

Donal helped Martyn pull his armor off, his skin steaming in the night air. Somewhere off in the distance, he heard a howl sound off. The wolves had decided to show up after all.

He had let her go. That was all Shanda could think as she sprinted through the grasslands, never once looking back. If he were really trying, she’d be able to hear him. The only sounds were her lithe feet barely touching the ground. For once it wasn’t raining, instead it was dangerously hot. Not the weather to go sprinting in but that seemed her lot in life. The gods did not esteem the Riverlands, they could not and make it this hot.

“I’ll make you a wager.” He had said once they were outside, air hanging over them like a blanket. “If you can make it across the river, I’ll drop the whole thing. Call it a big misunderstanding, and leave it alone.”

“And if you catch me?”

“Nothing changes,” then he smiled brilliantly at her, making her stomach clench. “And I get to enjoy a good chase.”

“Just across the river?”

“Shall I give you a head start?”

She didn’t waste a second then, taking off immediately. Her biggest disadvantage behind the heat, were the clouds obscuring the moonlight. Occasionally heat lightning would flash but it didn’t light her path any better. But she had managed to avoid slipping into any holes and for that she did thank the gods. The copse of trees was dark and menacing but she didn’t slow down. She barreled into the trees only pulling up short so as to not fall into the river.

The river wasn’t moving as quickly as it had been a few days ago and she looked at it carefully before choosing a spot to try to cross. She’d judged it wrong though and slipped nearly falling in. She caught a tree root and was attempting to pull herself up when she heard twin voices call out.

“It’s you!”

At the same time as,

“There you are.”

Having pulled herself back up on the bank, she could see her brother Royce standing there across the water. He looked shocked, his mouth hanging agape before his face hardened into a mask. Then he turned around, having said nothing and left. Shanda frowned, confused. Benjicot wrapped both arms around her, holding her tightly.

“I think you may have messed up love. Dear brother looked upset to see us together.”

Why hadn’t Royce said anything to her? Sure he’d pushed her in the river. But that was days ago, she was over it. What sibling didn’t occasionally try to kill you? Why had he been at the river in the first place?

And why had Benjicot been so slow?

“What took you so long?”

“I wanted to give you a fair shot.”

“Lucky you, I got distracted.”

“I would’ve still caught you. I saw your attempt to cross, just pathetic. But I would’ve fished you out.” He sighed, rubbing his cheek against the top of her head.

Fathoming a Marauders RENT!AU

This is what happens when you’ve been doing nothing but reading Marauders fics for the last two months and then you stop to watch a movie musical.

First stating off…

Peter as Mark! I just love the idea of Peter as the story teller. Always on the outside just a bit, even though everyone loves mark he just never quite feels it and it makes him a bit bitter. Like this lyric from Halloween is just sooo young Peter coded.

Other half of the dynamic duo is definitely James as Rodger! Like James fresh out of rehab and trying to write a song because obsessed with legacy!! So repressed but so full of love and sorrow that’s my James Potter!!! Plus ex-rocker James is very sexy to me!

Collins is Remus John Lupin!!! First and foremost “kiss me, it’s beginning to snow” is THE most wolfstar lyric!!! also also professor RJ Lupin in every universe. Remus as the intellectual who's trying his hand at some anarchist performance art that's basically just criminal activity. Love him!! Like these characters are so similar I’m not sure if Remus is a Collins variant or if Collins is a Remus variant… honestly we’ll never know.

If Collins is Remus then of course Sirius is Angel!! This is just obvious to me like Sirius in drag killing dogs for money and serving absolute cunt, breaking into an apartment then dying tragically?!? Like who else would he be lol

Jokes aside Collins/Angel is THE heart of the show and nothing in the musical works if they aren’t there, just like Wolfstar. I’ll Cover You is a wolfstar songs I mean just look at these lyrics! They are so soft I love them.

Regulus as Mimi! Obviously I had to make Jegulus a great big tragedy!! Like strung out stripper Regulus is just too good of an opportunity to pass up... plus I feel like “I’m 19 but I’m old for my age” is SUCH a Reggie lyric. Plus Reggie’s dynamic with a certain Benny was just so so good but we will get there later. Also also if anyone’s going to OD on CHRISTMAS and die then come back to life super dramatically after their soulmate sings to them it’s going to be Regulus Arcturus Black!!! Like he is the drama queen!!

Lily as Maureen… This is what started this whole thought spiral y'all. I was thinking about the Mark/Maureen/Joanne dynamic and I could only think of my favorite disaster bisexual in the middle of it. But beyond that this works on so many levels. The Remus/Lily friendship mirroring the Maureen/Collins dynamic and Maureen actually using her art to make statements against those in power which is so Lily of her!!! Like Lily as a crazy feminist killjoy and slutty social justice warrior is just so important to me!!!

Oh Joanne you are so so so important to me! (my favorite RENT character) Daughter of a politician and ivy league graduate who is working and living with artists and trying to keep them all in line?? Joanne could only be queen Mary McDonald!! Also I have always thought of Tracie Thoms as a fancast for older Mary so this just all works in my mind. I've always head cannoned Mary as a type-A over achiever who needs her friends to push her out of her comfort zone. Take me or Leave Me is such a Lily/Mary song. Also Mary/Lily having a constant on again/off again is most pleasing to me.

Barty Crouch... Junior as Benjamin Coffin... the third! This was the hardest person to decide in my mind but as soon as I thought Barty it all clicked into place. The Benny/Mimi Dynamic for starkiller just works so well. Plus if there's one thing Barty knows how to be is a villain!! Also I've always thought that Lily would HATE Barty so that works because if there's one thing that Maureen's going to do its beef with Benny (including at her own friends funeral).

Honorable Mention to the Black brothers getting to play out the Angel/Mimi dynamic (especially the ending scene when Regulus sees Sirius and he tells him to back and listen to Jame's song), Peter selling out in the second act because he's left without his support system, Collins and Angel only getting 10 months together (which is basically what wolfstar had between POA & OOTP), James and Peter in the context of What You Own (ouch I hurt my own feelings with that one), Remus and Barty getting drunk after the funeral, Marlene as the girl that Maureen kisses during La Vie Bohem (I have no reason for this other than the girl in the pro-shot really looks like Marlene to me), James playing an acoustic guitar at a dying man in order to save his life and it actually working! (I love this show but the image of Rodger wonderwall-ing a woman who needs medical attention is SO fucking funny to me),

The year is 1982. It has been announced the war Voldemort caused has come to an end! The dark wizard has been destroyed all thanks to the Order of the Phoenix and a few members of pureblood lineage who betrayed you know who and helped our good side. As many deaths as there have been, plenty have been saved as well. For once and for all, we are rid of the dark wizard! The Aurors and the remainder of the Order are still in the midst of taking care of the last enemies that may be walking around, so caution is yet still advised. 

There have also been rumours about the famed Albus Dumbledore… The Order warned that he does not have the right intentions we all so hoped and believed before. He was on our side against Voldemort, but now.. Whatever could he be up to? 

 18+ rp server set in the Marauder Era. This is an AU set up by three admins who value a chill and casual environment where open communication is crucial. The writing itself is all about chemistry, vibes and how you would like to further your character’s development. There will be a general plot line to ensure ALL characters get some plot relevance and have plenty to write about. Link to access group is HERE.

Important plot points to keep in mind whilst creating your character:

- Severus Snape, Regulus Black, Barty Crouch Jr, Evan Rosier, Peter Pettigrew and Lucius Malfoy all betrayed the Death Eaters and helped the Order defeat Voldemort instead. (it is possible to tweak this/add to the list depending on which characters you choose!) - Dumbledore is not a good person, this au focusses on his more manipulative/evil side. He is an npc that will be written/shown in a plot continuation post by one of the admins. - The horcruxes have been destroyed. Voldemort is officially dead/gone. - Hogwarts years for the Marauders happened according to canon, as soon as the Marauders graduated, that is when this au comes in. - Peter did originally join the Death Eaters, but eventually told his best friends the truth. He spied on the Death Eaters for the Order. You are free to fill in his character otherwise.

We offer:

- Your own category with your own text (1-1 chats) and thread channels. - Groupchats for characters to chat with one another. - Social media (posting pictures, twitter etc). - Group rps, casual ones, depends entirely on activity and how many people want to join in, or what the setting is and game based group rps. - 3 characters per person with the option for a third once the rps are well on their way and everyone had the chance to grab characters they’d like to write. - Your own fcs as you see fit, but no convicted criminals or actors who openly stated not to be used as a fancast. Be sensible (same ethnicities for family, canon poc characters remain as such etc).

how do you feel about Alyssa Sutherland for visenya! also i've always liked amber heard for rhaenys she has a bit of a to modern face but i think she has her energy

I do think it can work, although I don't know if Alyssa Sutherland has been in stuff that allows her to scream "High Queen" the way Visenya was after the Conquest, which is always such a pain for fancasting (fashion in general is such a pain for fancasting). But she does have that edge, and that kind of harsh and austere beauty that so many people talk about with Visenya. Haven't seen much of her acting, but she must have some stuff that can be used to pull it off.

Amber can definitely work for Rhaenys because again, insanely talented, and also ethereally beautiful (seriously, she's been my header for like 2+ years on this blog for a reason) which is very Rhaenys, who was also gorgeous. I think she could embody a "historical" vibe with the right makeup and costuming, but she just hasn't been in really any period pieces to use her for a fancast, especially for Rhaenys who did so much and had so many facets to her. But Amber's face has this kind of timeless beauty quality to it that can work really well for Rhaenys thematically (I remember a BTS of her Criminal Minds episode where MGG said she gave Grace Kelly vibes and it's so true, if she hadn't been driven out of the country by foul misogyny Amber would be the front runner for any Grace Kelly biopic that Hollywood might try), I just clocked her for Visenya more because there's a fanart of the three siblings where Visenya looks IDENTICAL to Amber to the point where it's almost eerie.

Looking at photos of Carmela Zumbado and I feel like I can imagine her pass as Luke Alvez’s sister. The only downside is the large age gap between them (Adam being born in 1975 while Carmela is born in 1991)
