The thing i love about how percy can be and is drawn as poc or white, black hair or blonde, green eyes or blue, is that you can still tell its percy jackson becuase of the swag emmiting from the fan art alone.

Do you ever wonder what Iris does with all that drachma from over the years?

Like she doesn't rly need them, she's a god, she can just magic them to appear if she wants. My personal hc is that she keeps a collection of coins and melts the ones she doesn't need to make stamps (like wax stamps but golden). Also, sometimes she puts them under rainbows as a treat for wandering demigods.

PJO Fancast (6/?) → Iñaki Godoy as Leo Valdez

Leo looked like a Latino Santa's elf, with curly black hair, pointy ears, a cheerful, babyish face, and a mischievous smile that told you right away this guy should not be trusted around matches or sharp objects. His long, nimble fingers wouldn't stop moving—drumming on the seat, sweeping his hair behind his ears, fiddling with the buttons of his army fatigue jacket. Either the kid was naturally hyper or he was hopped up on enough sugar and caffeine to give a heart attack to a water buffalo. "Anyway," Leo said, "I hope you've got your worksheet, 'cause I used mine for spit wads days ago. Why are you looking at me like that? Somebody draw on my face again?"

Annabeth Chase (Only black because I forever stand with black Annabeth)

Grover Underwood (Indian? Idk the Fancasts ethnicity but I literally cannot see Grover as white, so—)

Nico Di Angelo (Not pale enough but it’s better than most Fancasts💀)

Selena Beauregard (I forever headcanon Selena as Asian❤️)

Thalia Grace (White and Black)

Jason Grace (White, Asian?, and black)

Piper McLean (Both Fancasts are Native American, I believe)

Leo Valdez (Both Latino? Idk for sure😭)

Hazel Levesque (I feel like these could all fit her❤️)

Frank Zhang (I don’t think either of them are Chinese, but they’re both Asian)

Will Solace (I like the idea of Will having a mix between dirty and light blonde hair)

Reyna Ramerez (Fancast is believed to be Puerto Rican? I’m not sure though)

Rachel Elizabeth Dare (Not as old as the others, but this girl just fits Rachel’s vibe way too well😭)

for older members of the Fandom, do any of you remember Gio Navas and her OG songs for HoO? I found them again and remeber being holistically obsessed (that was my spoiler for Leo in BoO)

for the younger ones, I definitely recommend checking her out, she did songs for a lot of books/shows. It's definitely dated and very old youtube but her lyrics are very good

Haha oh my gosh I just had the funniest thought, what if Ryan Gosling plays Hercules in the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus series? It’d be a nice full circle moment for him since he started on the show Young Hercules and he’d do such a fantastic job with it!

PJO Fancast (3/?) → Jon Bernthal as Ares

The guy on the bike would've made pro wrestlers run for Mama. He was dressed in a red muscle shirt and black jeans and a black leather duster, with a hunting knife strapped to his thigh. He wore red wraparound shades, and he had the cruelest, most brutal face I'd ever seen—handsome, I guess, but wicked—with an oily black crew cut and cheeks that were scarred from many, many fights. The weird thing was, I felt like I'd seen his face before. The biker looked at me. I couldn't see his eyes behind the red shades, but bad feelings started boiling in my stomach. Anger, resentment, bitterness. I wanted to hit a wall. I wanted to pick a fight with somebody. Who did this guy think he was? He gave me a wicked grin. "So you're old Seaweed's kid, huh?"
