Lost Relatives
Maddie Fenton is Iris West's sister, the two lost communication after Maddie focused on her inventions; Hoping to reconnect with her sister, Iris invites her to her wedding.
When the Fentons show up at the wedding, the only way Barry can describe them is...eccentric. He didn't expect his bride-to-be's family to be so quirky, though he didn't mind Iris's request, he hoped they could reconnect.
That was until he was near Danny Fenton and felt the Speedforce lean toward him. Almost as if it was calling out to him. Danny looked at Barry curiously but didn't comment on it. Barry wondered if there was a flaw in the Speedforce.
Danny had a bad feeling about the wedding ever since he saw Clockwork grinning like a maniac after he mentioned the event to him.
He clearly didn't expect to find the "criminals who keep altering space-time" that Clockwork kept complaining about. He wondered if he could feign ignorance until the end of the event.
#dpxdc#Maddie is Iris sister#So technically Barry is now Jazz and Danny's uncle#ghost king danny#Clockwork is the only one having fun#He kinda hate the Speedsters#The Speedforce is acting like that because Danny is the Ghost King#and the Speedforce is a domain of the Realms#Danny is also an anomaly that cannot be affected by spacetime due to Clockwork's compliance#or rather the watch that was trapped in his body#dp x dc#dc x dp#Barry just got a weird family#although they are not bad people#Wait till he meet Danny's kids#poor guy doesn't stand a chance against Dan and Ellie

Gaps Between Character Appearances: Flash vol. 1
Basically what it says on the tin: an examination of the longest amounts of time a character was absent for during the Silver/Bronze Age Flash run.
Heroes and Supporting Cast:
Barry Allen: Since he was the main character, Barry was, unsurprisingly, basically in every issue of the Flash. There are therefore no significant gaps in his appearances.
Iris West-Allen: Iris was in pretty much every issue from 1956 to 1979, when she was killed by the Reverse-Flash. She then disappeared from the comic until 1985, when she returned for the end of the Trial of the Flash arc---an absence of six years.
Henry and Nora Allen: Their biggest absence was a seven-year gap between 1966 and 1973. There was then a second large gap between their appearance in 1973 and their reappearance in 1978.
Daphne Dean: Her biggest gap was an 11-year disappearance from 1966 to 1977. She then had another large gap between 1977 and 1982.
Ira West: His biggest gap was a 3-year gap between 1975 and 1978. He then pretty much disappeared from the book entirely after 1979.
Solovar: His biggest absence was a 13-year gap between 1965 and 1978.
Wally West: As Kid Flash, he appeared pretty consistently, either with Barry or on his own, until the very end of the run. The biggest gap is a two-year span between 1981 and 1983.
Patty Spivot: She didn't have any gaps of more than a year at any point between 1977 and and 1984, her full run on the series.
Fiona Webb: Fiona didn't have any gaps of more than a year for her full run on the series, either, which lasted from 1980 to 1985.
Joan Garrick: Her biggest gap in the Flash series was between 1978 and 1982 (the latter of which was her last appearance in Barry's run).
Jay Garrick: His biggest gap is the same 4-year gap as Joan's (between 1978 and 1982). He then disappears from the comic for its last three years (most of which were taken up by the never-ending Trial of the Flash arc).
Dexter Myles: His biggest gap was a roughly three-year period between 1970 and 1973.
Villains:
Professor Zoom the Reverse-Flash: The biggest gap in appearances he had prior to his death was the 5-year gap between 1969 ("Time Times 3 Equals--?") and 1974 ("Green Lantern---Master Criminal of the 25th Century"). After his death in 1980, he effectively disappeared for 3 years, reappearing in 1983 only to die again.
Abra Kadabra: His biggest gap in appearances was the five-year gap between 1972 ("The Flash in Cartoon-Land!") and 1977 ("Kill Me, Flash--Faster, Faster!"). There was also a 4-year gap between 1968 ("The Thief Who Stole All the Money in Central City") and 1972.
Gorilla Grodd: Grodd was absent for seven years, between 1971 (“Beyond the Speed of Life!”, otherwise known as the issue where Digger and James trip the Flash and he dies) and 1978 (“Beyond the Super-Speed Barrier").
Captain Cold: Captain Cold had two fairly sizeable gaps between appearances: a five-year gap between 1969 ("Captain Cold Blows His Cool") and 1974 ("The Hot-Cold War in Central City!"), and a four-year gap between 1977 ("To Believe or Not to Believe!") and 1981 ("Captain Cold's Cold, Cold Flame"). There was also a 3-year gap between his appearance in Showcase #8 and his appearance in Flash #114.
Mirror Master: Mirror Master had a number of two-year gaps between appearances, but never anything more than that. He was the most consistently appearing Flash villain.
Heat Wave: The biggest gap for Heat Wave was basically the same as for Captain Cold---a five-year gap between 1969 and 1974.
Captain Boomerang: Digger disappeared for four years between 1967 ("The Stupendous Triumph of the Six Super-Villains") and 1971 ("Beyond the Speed of Life!"). He was also missing for a 3-year period between 1976 (“The Last Day of June is the Last Day of Central City!”) and 1979 ("Road to Oblivion!").
Trickster: Trickster had a number of 3-year gaps between appearances---between 1965 ("The Trickster's Toy Thefts") and 1968 ("The Swell-Headed Super Hero"), between 1968 and 1971 ("Beyond the Speed of Life!"), between 1971 and 1974 ("The Day I Saved the Flash!", also known as writer Cary Bates' self-insert fanfic), between 1977 ("Prisoner of the Past") and 1980 ("If, At First You Don't Succeed"), and between 1980 and 1983 ("Dead Reckoning").
Weather Wizard: Weather Wizard was absent for six years, from 1967 ("The Race to the End of the Universe") to 1973 ("The Heart that Attacked the World").
Pied Piper: Hartley was absent from 1967 ("The Stupendous Triumph of the Six Supervillains") to 1972 ("The Flash of 1000 Faces"), a gap of five years. He also had a roughly four-year gap between 1977 ("Prisoner of the Past") and 1981 ("The Pied Piper's Paradox Peril"), and a 4-year gap between his first appearance in 1959 and his second appearance in 1963.
The Top: Roscoe was absent for six years, from 1967 ("The Stupendous Triumph of the Six Supervillains") to 1973 ("The Million-Dollar Death Trap!"). He was then basically absent from his death in 1976 to his return as a ghost in 1981, a five-year gap. His last appearance in the comic was in November 1981.
Golden Glider: Her biggest gap was a three-year absence from 1978 (“The Golden Glider’s Final Fling!”) to 1981 ("1981--A Flash Odyssey!"). Her last appearance in the comic was in October 1982.
Rainbow Raider: His biggest gap was a year-and-a-half-to-two year gap between 1981 ("A Stab in the Black!") and 1983 ("Trade Heroes and Win!").
Mr. Element/Dr. Alchemy: There was a six-year gap between Dr. Alchemy's appearance in 1958 ("The Man Who Changed the Earth!") and Mr. Element's appearance in 1964 ("Our Enemy, the Flash!"). Albert Desmond disappeared again from 1966 ("One Bridegroom Too Many!”) to 1972 ("The Curse of the Dragon’s Eye!”), a roughly six-year gap. He also disappeared for another six years between 1974 (“The Fury of the Fire-Demon!”) and 1980 (“Dr. Alchemy and Mr. Desmond"). His last appearance in the series was in September 1980. Alvin only appeared from July to September 1980 during Barry's run, and as such there were no gaps between his appearances.
Paul Gambi: Paul was absent for 10 years between 1963 and 1973, and then had a 9-year gap between 1976 and 1985.
Among the villains, Grodd had the biggest gap between his appearances, since he was gone from the pages of the Flash for seven years. Albert Desmond had the most frequent long absences, though, with three different six-year gaps.
Among the Rogues proper, The Top and the Weather Wizard had the largest gaps between appearances, though the Top's death meant that he was gone for more of the series than Weather Wizard.

Adding Smoak To Fire
Summary: After being injured, Bart finally does something that makes his sister happy.
Pairing: Nora West-Allen x Mia Smoak x Fem!Reader
Requested: by this anon. Hope you like it.
Word Count: 1k+
Warnings: a bit of angst and fluff
Masterlist|Prompt List
“XS!” you screamed.
Nora turned to see you being held in the air. Whoever was holding you had been able to fight against your powers. “(H/N)!” Nora screamed. She needed to run. She had to save you.
But not even a speedster can save everyone.
Nora can’t remember coming back to STAR Labs. All she could recall was you. Your screams as the criminal stabbed you. Your blood was on her hands when she finally got to you. Your paling skin. Your eyes open and close.
She couldn’t hear Caitlin’s orders, Cisco or Chester’s rapid thinking about how your powers might react to the injury, her mother’s soft pleas to have her change. Nora could barely feel her little brother gently grab her arm.
“Nora!” Bart whisper-shouted as he brought her to the time vault. “Wh–” Bart pulled his sister close to him, shushing her sobs. “Listen to me, I’m gonna go and get Mia. You need to clean up and stay with Mom” Bart told her.
He knew his older sister better than most. Bart knew that until you woke up or Mia gets to you both, Nora would be stuck in a daze for who knows how long.
Nora only nodded before Bart informed his father and mother on what to do and then he ran into the pipeline to travel home and get Mia here fast.
Iris helped Nora change and clean her hands of your blood, trying to talk to her daughter. All she was given was silence, watching the tears gather in her eyes before wiping them with the back of her hand and letting the cycle continue.
Once Caitlin was able to stop the bleeding and get some blood, donated by Allegra who was the only match to your blood type, Barry brought Nora into the room with a chair that was as close as he could get it.
After half an hour, Bart returned. Mia took a moment before hurling her stomach into a trash can. Bart went to pull her hair back before Mia caught his hand stopping him. She took a moment before looking at the boy.
"Where are my girls?" Mia asked, her toe as sharp as a blade. Caitlin ushered her to the room you were in. Mia went straight to you and Nora. She took Nora's free hand, her fingers caressing her knuckles out of instinct and her other hand went to lay under the palm of your hand that Nora held.
"I… I wasn't fast enough" Nora choked, turning to Mia. The blonde crushed down, her arm wrapping around Nora's shoulders. "Hey, baby look at me" Mia whispered "You did everything you could okay? We still love you just as much and nothing is ever gonna change that".
Nora pressed her head against Mia's and sighed as they both looked at you. "It's just a waiting game now"
You felt your eyes open only to shut them again. Stupid lights. You waited a moment before opening them slowly. After adjusting to the light, you turned to the weight on your hand.
Your girlfriends sat next to each other, both holding your hand as they slept beside you. "My favourite future sister-in-law! Great to see you awake" Bart whispered from across the room. You only rolled your eyes at him.
"Bart" you smiled as he walked over to you. "You took a hit for little ol' m" Bart gushed, hand over his heart in the most dramatic way imaginable. Family Trait. "Yeah, I'll take a pass next time. It's exhausting saving your ass" You groaned, rolling your eyes at the boy.
Bart mocked a gasp, falling back onto the floor. The both of you let out a quiet laugh, careful not to wake up your girls. "Seeing as you owe me one Allen. Maybe you can help me out" You wiggled your eyebrows.
"Only if you never do that again"
When Mia's eyes opened, her head went from zero to a hundred when she didn't see you on the hospital bed. "Babe!" She shouted looking around for you and waking Nora in the process. "W… What?" Nora groaned, looking around stupidly without reason.
"Darlings, I'm okay" You cooed, sitting in the iconic Wellsobard wheelchair you had heard so much about. Mia felt a weight on her shoulders lift as she walked over to you. "You had us so worried Bow” Mia cooed, kissing your cheek. You smiled at her, placing your hand on her cheek. “I have the most amazing girlfriends in the universe. I’m not letting anyone take me away from you” You looked at Nora, holding your free hand out.
The guilt on your sweet thundercloud was heartbreaking. “Thundercloud… come here baby” You encouraged her. Nora holds your hand, tears falling from her face. “I’m so sorry” Nora cried at you, her guilt too much to bare. With Mia’s help, you stood up slowly, hugging her with all the strength you had. “None of this was your fault, my love, I chose to be like you two, my arrow and thundercloud. We are in this together, until the sun stops shining” You told them both, a soft smile on your face.
“We love you so much Lightning” Nora sniffled, wrapping her arms around you and Mia. “I love you both two, now wheel me to the bubble room” You cheered softly, falling back into the wheelchair.
Nora and Mia wheeled you into the time vault. Their eyes lit up as they noticed the blankets and fairy lights strung around the room. “(Y/N) You didn’t!” Mia exclaimed, slightly angry that the girl went to this trouble. “Nah, Bart helped me out. This is the first time in ages we’ve been in the same time period with you two helping your Dads. I just want a night date with my girlfriends without some speedster or ninja getting in the way” You told them.
The two heroes kissed your cheeks, helping to the beanbags on the floor. “Okay then, what movie shall we watch first?” Mia asked you, falling right next to you. “I’ll get the snacks” Nora beamed, using her speed to leave her girls only to come back with bags of your favourites.
“My favourite girls” You smiled

at first I was thinking angsty here. like in the actual movie: only two survivors. (except Len didn’t leave Barry in the middle of nowhere and let him tag along. Len thought it’ll be temporary… jokes on him.) they help each other to keep it together, Barry and Lisa become fast friends and all gets as good as it can after a traumatic experience. maybe they even broke Barry’s dad out of prison at some point. it’s not like Barry living a law-abiding life now. but I hated that Mick and Iris are dead in the end. I do not enjoy angsty things and I didn't like Mick playing Richie’s part. just didn't feel right if it’s close to the movie.
but we have Eobard! this creeper? perfect in Richie’s place! (and i can see him as Lewis' spawn just fine). here we have Barry and Iris alive, Len letting them both tag alone (mostly because Lisa glanced in Iris’ direction five times in a minute and Len saw her betting eyelashes. why is this his life? wasn’t the vampire's existence bad enough? he sighs glances in Barry’s direction and decides well. it could have been worse. it could have been Mick who got him out of prison and lay dead now).
in the end my brain stuck on the farce-ish version, of course.
Mick and Len have been friends since forever, they are brothers in all but blood and they raised Lisa together. they never kill innocent people or cops (Mick lost the argument). they steal, they sell the loot and move to their next target. the goal is to get enough money and move to Mexico (Lisa’s already there). Len gets himself in prison after he gets the final score. Mick got him out and they headed to the bar in Mexico. and Len will fucking kill Lisa if the bar will be what he thinks it will be after hearing it’s name.
Barry was adopted by Joe West after his parents died in a car crash (drunk driver). he was six at the time. the driver didn’t go to prison (the forensic team fucked up) and that’s how Barry knew he’d be the best criminalist in town when he grew up. Iris wasn’t as devoted and during the years wanted to be everything from opera singer to astronaut. Joe was both scared and proud when she wanted to be a cop just like her daddy. he wasn’t supportive (it's a scary job okay? he hated the mare thought of his little girl chasing criminals for living!) but he wasn’t vocally against it either.
Joe quits after his wife was killed during a robbery gone wrong. Barry just graduated and was going to start at the precinct soon. Iris is working on her final project at uni and graduating a bit later. (they’re sure their dad lost it or having a midlife crisis on top of grieving ‘course why the hell else he’ll shove them in the motorhome and drive them to fucking Mexico for “vacation”?)
___
len, smirking: keep it together and will be out of your hair in no time mick, frowning: why can’t we roast a pig?

gloria, the hostage: what.
len: am i stuttering? don’t let him… ah, my bad *goes back and cuts tape on her wrists* ...him light the room on fire!
gloria, the hostage: …
len, rolling his eyes: Mick won’t hit a women. he may try to use a toaster or hair styler to make a room feel homey and cozy. by making a bonfire. we don’t want this, okay?
gloria, the hostage nods: and you let me go when again?
len, smirking: as soon as i find a fitting ride
___
len, staring at the burning motel: i asked you to do one thing, gloria!
gloria, the hostage: well he can be very persuasive and charming…
len: single, yeah?
gloria, the hostage just sighs
___
len, knocking on the door: terribly sorry to bother you this early in the morning but if it’s not too much trouble could I possibly borrow your’s…
joe, opening the door and looking straights at the barrel of the gun: fuck
len: sorry, not my type
___
len, gun in hand, but not pointing at anyone at the moment: sounds easy, right? we cross the border in your nice motorhome, spend a night at the bar and go our separate ways in the morning. no one needs to get hurt.
iris, hiding her face in her hands, her shoulders shaking: i can’t believe this is happening to us
barry, barely holding the eyeroll: iris...
iris, starts shaking harder: but Bar, this is so…
barry, covering his face too: i beg you don’t
joe, barely holding the urge to bang his head against the wall: you’re making it worse
len and mick glare between them, confused
iris, can’t hold it anymore and starts cackling: of all families in this fucking motel…
barry, starts giggling too
joe, just sighs
len, even more confused: what’s wrong with you people?
iris, with tears in her eyes from laughing: my dad was a cop, Barry here just graduated criminalist and i’m almost graduated journalist.
len, with why is this my life look: it’s not that funny
iris, shrugging: i deal with my first hostage situation, fuck off
mick: you know how to pick ‘em snart
len: shut up
___
len, to everyone: if you see mick with a lighter or matches take them away from him
everyone: ???
len, sighs: he started two fires already and you have one real nice motorhome here...
___
iris stopped three arson attempts from mick before they crossed the border
___
barry recognised who len was and spent three hours trying to get len to tell him how he managed to never leave evidence at his crime scenes
___
joe barely held the urge to bang his head against steering wheel more time than he cares to admit
___
len, looking at the titty twister: i will fucking kill her
mick, cackling: she got sadistic sense of humor from you
barry, blushes
iris, looks very interested
joe, adopts why is this my life look
___
iris, after stacking santanico pandemonium: damn shame
mick, high fiving with her: yeap
___
sex machine: ‘name is sex machine
iris and len, in unison: bold of you to presume i’m interested
joe facepalms
mick: barking all wrong trees
___
barry, in a quiet shy voice: so, if we survive this shit show would you be interested in a…
len: i’m sure will but your dad won’t approve
joe, shouting from behind: I WON’T
iris, shouting from joe’s left: I WILL
mick, looking for the lighter while others are distracted: I DON’T CARE, BUT LISE WILL TOO
___
len: i can’t believe i’m saying this… the stage is yours go at it
mick: fuck year, fire saves the day!
___
all of them looking at the flames rising from what was once the titty twister
len: good riddance
joe: hate to agree
iris and barry just rolling their eyes
mick, with feeling: nice
___
lisa: i’m five minutes late and you burned the faking meeting point?
len: hey, trainwreck, nice to see you too, your fault by the way
lisa, rolling her eyes: hey jerk, why?
len: you managed to choose the one with vampires
lisa, triumphal: ha! i told you so!
len, pinching the bridge of his nose: last time, lise, you were fucking five…
lisa: and i was right
len, resigned: yes you were
___
joe, watching barry flirting with len: how is this my life?
mick, suddenly appearing from behind: popular question
joe, signing: what do you want?
mick, smirking and pointing at iris betting her eye at looking quite interested lisa: guess runs in the family
joe, covering his face: i’m too old for this shit
mick, looking up and down: nah

With all this talk of being a Hartley person (^_^) I have had another fic idea for him.
Hartley's still with Team Flash in the pilot and he worked on the suit with Cisco and they bicker - mostly in a friendly way but there's an edge there sometimes - over things. The things play out mostly the same, but there's some foreshadowing that Hartley's keeping some secret of Harrison's and they're not as close as they used to be as a result. Harrison calls Hartley 'his guy' and Hartley brushes him off. Cisco jokes about Hartley avoiding Dr. Wells, but there's some truth to it. Caitlin observing that Hartley's still at STAR Labs for the same reason they all are - penitence.
Episode two has Hartley and Dr. Wells in an argument, but we only see the end of it when someone interrupts. It's not entirely clear yet what they're arguing about but it has to do with the accelerator. Nor is it the only fight they've had recently or during the episode itself. It's all leading up to...
Episode three introduces the pipeline prison and Hartley refuses to have anything to do with it. He points out that they don't have the facilities to house inmates humanely, that isolated cells like what's being proposed are legally a form of torture, and that kidnapping criminals doesn't make it suddenly okay to torture people. Cisco is visibly uneasy going along with things after Hartley storms off, but he lets Dr. Wells talk him around. Caitlin goes after Hartley but can't find him. When they imprison Nimbus in there at the end, Hartley tells Barry that he's glad Joe is okay and the Barry survived but what they've just done is as bad as the things Nimbus has done and he won't be party to it any longer. He foreshadows again knowing something about Harrison Wells and the accelerator, saying he didn't expect any better from him but the others? The episode ends with Hartley quitting and when he goes back home there's a flute on his coffee table atop blueprints for his gloves.
And then Hartley disappears for a few episodes. And then pops back up for Power Outage. He recognizes Ronnie while volunteering at Free Space at the start of the episode, but a transformer blows - loudly - and triggers awful tinnitus in Hartley's ears. He visits the doctor to check his hearing only to realize it's getting worse in that things are getting louder and louder. He calls Caitlin during a lull in the things with STAR Labs and tells her about Ronnie. She doesn't believe him. And then Hartley tells Caitlin that the accelerator was flawed. And Harrison Wells knew it and turned the accelerator on anyway. She doesn't say anything about this for the rest of the episode, but she keeps looking at Dr. Wells... strangely. And after snapping at him at one point she finds her fresh cup of hot coffee straight from the pot (poured on screen and shown steaming) has gone cold. Not frozen. Just... cold.
The episode ends with Farooq dying of his own revenge plot. And Hartley explicitly taking up the mantle as he promises himself that he's not going to let Harrison get away with it any longer.
Fast forward to where The Sound and The Fury/Crazy For You episodes sit. The plot with Shawna happens first this time. The flashbacks are to Hartley's relationship with Harrison - comparing it directly to Shawna and how Clay has been using her - as Hartley learned about the flaw and was manipulated to stay quiet about it. In the present day, Hartley goes to Iris West. The Flash blogger. Because he knows her and the news outlets aren't taking him seriously and he trusts her more anyway. He gives her everything he has on the accelerator and while he leaves out the Pipeline and the Flash's real identity, Hartley tells her the truth about pretty much everything else. This also has the karaoke, Linda, and Caitlin seeing Ronnie in the parking garage. The episode ends with Iris clicking post on her blog while Hartley, in the dead of night with his gloves on, faces STAR Labs.
The next episode opens with Hartley having broken into STAR Labs and released the metas. He's trashed the Pipeline such that it's unusable at present and Cisco says it might take a week - or more - to fix it. And then refuses to. He doesn't agree with Hartley setting Nimbus or Rainbow Raider free, but their Pipeline got Tony Woodward killed. And they had no business keeping Shawna in a lightless box. They have the ability to make actual jails hold metas and the CCPD's trust. Time to stop abusing that trust and update Iron Heights and the CCPD's holding cells. The team agrees. But then Caitlin shows them Iris' latest blog post. and that the CCPN is running with the story now too. Hartley told her the same thing. Did Dr. Wells knowingly set off the accelerator that killed Ronnie?
It's a Nimbus 2.0 episode, now though. While Team Flash is falling apart over the pipeline and its secrets, Nimbus knocks Hartley, Shawna, and Roy out. Not killing them but only out of deference to having rescued him. He wants to kill the Flash now. Joe would be a bonus, but the Flash? Nimbus wants revenge. He lures Barry out by going after Joe again - really playing things up, toying with Joe but not actually harming him - and when Barry shows up? Showdown time. Hartley shows up and uses his gloves to distract Nimbus but it's Caitlin who runs into the danger zone who saves the day - she was hoping Ronnie was following her again and would save Barry the way he did in the fight with the Reverse Flash. But instead she freezes Nimbus' gas cloud. Killing Nimbus. Shawna gets Hartley out of there before anyone can get shouty with him.
Hartley shows up again in All Stars Team Up. Cisco takes Ray to see Hartley about his physics problem. Ray picks up on how tense things are and Hartley awkwardly apologizes to Cisco for how they first met. Cisco's the smartest person Hartley knows, even if his dress sense is lacking, and if he needs Hartley for anything at all... all he has to do is ask. Cisco is a bit bewildered by the whole thing, but afterwards he makes Ray promise not to mention Hartley's help since he's still persona non-grata with the rest of the team over destroying the pipeline a few weeks ago.
Which means that in Rogue Air it's Hartley they go to for help. They don't have any metas incarcerated in the pipeline anymore, but Eobard has still set it to explode again if they don't stop it. Hartley, Cisco, and Ronnie are back in the pipeline - with flashbacks to previous times they worked on it together and their desperate attempt to prevent it from taking the city with it when it went wrong - working to shut it off. They succeed - barely - but we see a hint of a breach like fissure in the room below the pipeline before they do. The Pied Piper joins Firestorm and Arrow as Barry's back up during the big fight with Eobard.
In the final episode, Hartley has nothing to say to Eobard Thawne and advises Barry not to travel in time; he refuses to help build the time machine too as he refuses to dance to Eobard Thawne's tune anymore. Cisco and Caitlin ask him to be part of the team again at some point before it all goes to hell and he says he'll think about it.
Since the focus here is on Hartley, I don't really go into too much about the consequences of Caitlin getting her powers early here. But I do see them as her powers - not an alternate personality's. Developing slowly in counterpoint to Ronnie & Steins... for now. She seems stable enough for Season 1, but Season 2 would show that Caitlin - and her control of her powers - has not fared well in the wake of Ronnie's death. I don't see Caitlin going evil - but she definitely gets to be the antagonist of a plot at some point as her grief - and her powers - spiral out of control. Cisco stops her with the power of friendship and plenty of winter layering.
Season 2 would also have Hartley struggling with reintegrating with Team Flash, especially with Harry around. And finally out right saying that Hartley and Eobard (as Wells) had been romantically involved before Hartley discovered the flaw. But also the season opens with Barry trying to finally accept his mother's death and being hit by his father not feeling able to stay in Central City after finally being exonerated... while Hartley's parents have reached out to him in the wake of the singularity disaster and are trying to reconnect with him.

I saw that you have read most of the flash comics and ive been dying to understand what is going on in flash fam because im so confused
I have! I'm not sure what you're asking about, though - are you confused by what's happening in the comics right now, or just generally who is who in the Flash Family?
If it's the latter, here is a very, very bare bones overview, in chronological-ish order:
Jay Garrick: The first Flash, debuted in 1940. He got super speed from accidentally inhaling hard water vapor. He is a member of the Justice Society of America and has been married to his wife Joan for many decades.
Barry Allen: The second Flash, debuted in 1956. A police scientist who got super speed from being doused with chemicals that had been struck by lightning. He eventually married his girlfriend Iris West and briefly moved to the 30th century with her before dying in 1985's Crisis on Infinite Earths. He came back to life in 2008.
Wally West: The first Kid Flash, debuted in 1959. He became the third (best) Flash after Barry died. He and his wife Linda have twins, Iris (Irey) and Jai, who also have superpowers, and they just had a new baby, Wade. He was sort of erased by the New 52 reboot in 2011 (more on that later) and brought back into continuity by the Rebirth soft reboot in 2016.
Bart Allen: MY LOVE. Debuted in 1994. Barry's grandson who was born in the 30th century and came back to the 20th century to become first Impulse, then Kid Flash, then the Flash when he was briefly aged up. He died, came back as a teenage Kid Flash, was totally rebooted by the New 52 (ignore this), and is now back to his original Impulse self these days. Has an evil clone named Thaddeus Thawne, Inertia.
Max Mercury: A very obscure 1940s character. He is the oldest of the speedsters, having been born in the early 1800s, but the Speed Force jumps him forward in time every so often which is why he looks like he's 65 and not 200. When Bart came back to the 20th century, Max became his guardian, and they have a very close father-son relationship.
Johnny Quick: Another 1940s speedster, less well-known than Jay but less obscure than Max. He used a mathematical formula to access his super speed. He married (and divorced) fellow superhero Liberty Belle and had a daughter, Jesse, before dying in the 90s.
Jesse Quick: Johnny's daughter. She has both her parents' powers and is married to Rick Tyler, the second Hourman.
Wallace West: So when the New 52 launched, there was no Wally West, which fans were very mad about because he's a popular character. Eventually DC reintroduced him, but instead of a white guy in his early 20s, he was a Black 12-year-old. Who they decided to portray as a juvenile delinquent for some baffling reason. So racists weren't happy that Wally was Black now, fans who wanted diversity in comics weren't happy that being Black apparently made Wally a criminal, and no one was happy that he was only 12 and thus couldn't be friends with Dick and Roy (who were in their 20s), married to his wife, etc. With Rebirth in 2016, DC decided to fix this by reintroducing the older, white Wally and establishing that the younger, Black Wallace is actually Wally's cousin and this family just has two first cousins named Wallace West for some reason. Wallace (or Ace) is the current Kid Flash and is now about 16 years old. He and Wally have an adorable relationship.
Avery Ho: Debuted in 2016. Avery is Chinese American and splits her time between Central City and being a member of the Justice League of China.
Judy Garrick: A brand-new character. Judy is the daughter of Jay and Joan who was kidnapped as a child and then her parents were made to forget her existence, but even though her story has her dating back to the 1950s, she really only debuted this year.
I hope that answers your questions! Happy to explain anything that's not clear.

My headcanons about the child of the Coldflash
Part 1/? (English version)
- They didn't take a kid from an orphanage or off the street like a stray puppy (because that's too boring aha). What if instead SPEEDFORCE JUST GIFTED THEM A BABY ABOUT EARLY FIVE YEARS OLD AND WAS LIKE, "RAISE HIM, YOU'RE FATHERS NOW, GOOD LUCK!!!"
- Barry and Len received no further instructions, only a boy who had facial features similar to both of them, but had Len's blue eyes and Barry's unruly brown hair
- The boy was named Michael (yes, I love Prison Break)
- Team Flash and the Rogue agreed that the situation was ridiculous, but they liked Michael so much that they quickly forgot about it and started cooing to him
- Michael was the reason Joe was able to finally accept Barry's relationship with Snart. West even shook Len's hand and gave him some parenting advice
- Iris and Lisa argued over who would be the coolest aunt, but they never got the chance to explain to Michael that he should pick one of them. They eventually resigned themselves to a tie because Michael cried
- Mick taught Michael some bad words so he could stand up to bullies on the street. Barry and Len weren't impressed, but Mick was very proud of his "tough guy" attitude
- Cisco made Michael so many toys that Barry had to have a talk with him about it because there was literally no space left in their house to store them in
- Caitlin is always "treating" Michael's teddy bear when he gets "bear fever"
- Michael loves playing chess with Gideon and affectionately calls her "robo-sister"
- Michael didn't have any superpowers, but he was obviously too smart for his age and knew too much to be human (which is not surprising, since he's basically a demigod)
- Barry and Len decide to raise Michael like a normal kid, despite the fact that his parents are a superhero and a criminal mastermind (and also a divine force calling itself Speedforce)
- Leonard reads Michael a bedtime story and Barry sings lullabies
- Michael cried for a long time when they started teasing him at school for saying his dad was the Flash. Barry was ready to reveal his second identity to the world and Leonard literally wanted to go fight with the kids, but both eventually came to a more logical solution. They moved Michael to another school and explained to him why he needed to keep his dads second lives a secret
- Leonard and Michael often fall asleep on the couch together while watching cartoons. Barry thinks it's so cute, he's already taken a million pictures on his phone
- Barry and Michael often dance together to songs from old musicals and it's Len's time to take pictures
- Michael complains to everyone around him that "his dads kiss too much" and is surprised when he gets laughter and smiles instead of sympathy
- One day Michael asks Barry and Len why they aren't married like the other parents. They end up playing the wedding in the kitchen, using dried fruit instead of wedding rings. A week later, Len buys real rings

The Fastest Man Alive finally gets his own live-action solo flick with several other superheroes from the DC Universe lending a helping hand. Ezra Miller portrays The Scarlet Speedster who uses his superpowers to travel back in time to change the events of the past, however worlds collide when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future.
Oddly enough, with a number of superheroes making appearances, there is only one major super villain in this 2 hour and 24-minute affair, General Zod … a Superman villain. The Flash becomes trapped in a reality in which Zod has returned, threatening destruction, and there is no one to turn to. The Flash is left to coax a vastly different Batman (Michael Keaton) out of retirement to help rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian … albeit not the one he’s looking for, and to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows.
The film starts out with an amazing sequence where the Ben Affleck Batman is in hot pursuit of criminals on his new and improved Batcyle and The Flash is left to rescue babies at a hospital. Watching this sequence of Affleck makes me realize how cool a solo movie with him might have been. Besides a large dose of action, the movie also relies on humor to carry the viewer through a nearly 2 and ½ hour film. Some of the jokes land, but unfortunately most of them don’t. Auspiciously though, the action is enjoyable enough to carry the bulk of this outing.
After Barry changes the past and returns, he comes face to face with himself, or an 18-year-old version of himself. This eighteen-year-old version of Barry Allen is super too … super annoying. Present day Barry needs his other self to help him resolve the problems that he has created. Ahhh … time travel movies.
Keaton’s portrayal is both nostalgic and fun. He delivers a couple of legendary lines from his original 1989 Bat-flick while his classic musical motif by Danny Elfman plays in the background during the major events. For a lot of Bat-fans this was a dream come true, although I was left amazed at how spry Batman was at 70-year-old.
Sasha Calle’s Supergirl was lifeless and with no emotion, very reminiscent of Brie Larson’s unlikeable Captain Marvel. Another female character waisted was Kiersey Clemons’s Iris West; don’t expect any notable love story here. The main emotional draw of this film is the love between a boy and his mother. Barry goes to great lengths for the love of his mom, not realizing one minor adjustment to history has major ramifications throughout time.
The Flash suffers from two major problems; horrendous special effects and the lack of any real villain. It’s hard to believe that with all the money spent on this flick, the computer animation is flat out cringeworthy in most places. The other thing that really bothers me is how DC has such awesome super villains that Warner Bros. has yet to tap into. The Flash is yet another example of that.
With all that said, overall, I thought The Flash was still fun and much better than the last couple of DC movie releases (Black Adam, Shazam! Fury of the Gods). Even with the bad special effects, the CGI cameos were nice to see and added to the film’s enjoyment, however, like Barry Allen, this film is its own worst enemy. Instead of squaring up against a legendary villain from Flash’s large gallery of amazing rogues, the Scarlet Speedster is left to battle a timeline that he put into place with another, much more annoying, version of himself by his side.

4K Reviews:
VIDEO QUALITY 📽️ : A
In my opinion, you won't get a better picture quality than here. The Native 4K (2160p) transfer looks fantastic even with the horrible CGI in place. Colors burst on your screen at home that are equal to, if not better than, that on the silver screen.
AUDIO QUALITY 🔈 : A-
Although the dialogue is extremely low and hard to understand at times, the action sequences are bombastic and sound wonderful in this Dolby Atmos & True HD 7.1 sound conversion.

The extras (listed below) are great! Included with the digital copy of the film are a wealth of enjoyable featurettes. The only minor thing is Warner Bros. is no longer including a regular Blu-Ray copy of the film.

Amazing Sliding Timescales
Sometimes I forget just how old the Flash characters actually are, so I did some math to estimate approximately when the Flash characters would have been born, based upon the year of their debut issue.
These estimations will be necessarily vague, given that we don't know exactly how old any of the characters were intended to be.
And now, without further ado:
Barry Allen: In Flash vol. 1 #121 (1961), Barry was depicted as attending the 10-year anniversary of his graduation from Sun City University, meaning that he would have graduated from college in 1951. Assuming that he completed school in four years, this means that he would have graduated from high school in 1947 (assuming that he went to college immediately upon graduating high school), and that he would have been born in 1929 (assuming he graduated high school at 18). This would have made him twenty-seven years old upon his debut in 1956, and would make him 95 years old if he were a real person today.
Iris West: Iris is probably within two or three years of Barry in terms of age, meaning she would have been born between 1926 and 1932.
Captain Cold: Captain Cold debuted in Showcase #8 in 1957, and was likely intended to be somewhere between 20 and 35 years old. This would mean that he would have had to have been born sometime between 1922 and 1937.
Additional side note: Lisa seems to be about five to seven years younger than her brother, based on flashbacks from Flash vol. 2 #182. This would mean that she would have been born between 1927 and 1942 based on this issue--and that she would have been somewhere between 35 and 50 years old in 1977 (the year of her actual debut issue!).
Dr. Alchemy/Mr. Element: Albert Desmond debuted in Showcase #13, in 1958, and was likely intended to be between the ages of 20 and 30, meaning he would have been born between 1928 and 1938 (although since he seems to be about the same age as Barry, I'd guess that he might possibly be closer to 30).
Mirror Master I: Sam Scudder debuted in Flash #105, in 1959. He could be anywhere from 20 to 35 years old on his debut (though I would personally guess him to be on the younger side). This means he could have been born anywhere from 1924 to 1939.
Pied Piper: Hartley Rathaway debuted in Flash #106 in 1959. Since later stories would suggest he graduated from college, I'll guess that he was about 22 when he became the Pied Piper for the first time, which would mean he was born around 1937.
Weather Wizard: Mark Mardon debuted in Flash #110 in 1959. Again, he could have been intended to be anywhere from 20 to 35, and could have been born anywhere from 1924 to 1939 (though I assume that he too was on the younger side.)
Wally West: Wally West debuted in Flash #110 in 1959, and is somewhere between 10 and 14 years old. This would mean he was born sometime between 1945 and 1949, and that he would have been 38 to 42 years old in 1987 (when Flash vol. 2 began in the real world).
Trickster I: James Jesse debuted in Flash #113 in 1960. I tend to assume he was quite young when he became the Trickster. If we say he was 18, then he would have been born in 1942.
Captain Boomerang, Sr.: George "Digger" Harkness debuted in Flash #117, in 1960. He appeared to be on the older side, given his early male pattern baldness, and thus was probably intended to be somewhere between 25 and 35 on his debut. This would mean that he was born sometime between 1925 and 1935.
The Top: Roscoe Dillon debuted in Flash #121 in 1961, and appears in the illustrations to be between 20 and 25 years old (he is quite baby-faced in his first issue). Assuming that this is the case, he would have been born sometime between 1936 and 1941.
Heat Wave: Mick Rory debuted in Flash #140 in 1963. He seemed to be on the older side, having worked as a fire-eater before becoming a criminal and also being completely bald, so I'd guess that he was between 25 and 35 on his debut. This would mean that he would have been born somewhere between 1928 and 1938.
Golden Glider: Lisa Snart debuted in Flash #250, in 1977 (twenty real-world years after her older brother!). I'd guess her to be somewhere between 23 and 27 based on the art, meaning that she would have been born sometime between 1950 and 1954.
If we assume that her older brother Captain Cold is five to seven years older, then based on this issue he would have been born sometime between 1943 and 1949.
Mirror Master II: Evan McCulloch debuted in 1989. I'd assume him to be somewhere between 20 and 25 upon his debut, which means he would have been born somewhere between 1964 and 1969.
Linda Park: Linda Park debuted in 1989. Since she was a reporter and would have had to have graduated college, I would assume she was intended to be 23 to 25 years old, which means she would have been born somewhere between 1964 and 1966.
Billy Hong: Billy debuted in 1999 at the age of 11. This would mean that he was born in 1988, and that he would be thirty-six years old today if he had aged in real time.
Josh Mardon: Josh debuted in 2001 and appeared to be a relatively young child (definitely under age 2). This means that he could have been born no earlier than late 1999, and that he would probably have been born between 2000 and 2001. That would make him 23 to 24 years old today---that is, roughly my age--- if he had aged in real-world time.
Trickster II: Axel Walker debuted in 2002. Since his artist, Scott Kolins, said he drew him as a 16-year-old, we'll go with 16 for his age. This means that Axel would have been born in 1986, and that he would be thirty-eight years old today if he aged in real time.
Comic book aging is wild. (I didn't include Bart, Jai, Irey, or Owen in this post because I didn't want to have to deal with any speed-force/time travel-induced headaches.)
