His Voice

It seemed like a fairly normal afternoon in Pac-Opolis, her and her two best friends in the whole world had just recently finished a ghost attack and were helping around the city for people that may have had their cars flipped over or some that were still afraid to go outside. She was watching as Pac was gently consoling a little girl and making sure that she was okay before taking her to her mother..

That always made her heart feel warm, seeing Pac be so careful when children are around him. The little girl let out one final sniffle before hugging the yellow one with a relieved smile, he of course returned the gesture and whispered something to her to make her giggle.

Both Cyli and Spiral let out warm smiles after seeing the girl be more relaxed because of their yellow friend, both walking behind him to see the little girl still waving at the bright hero before grabbing the hand of her grateful mother.

"Bro one of these days, you're going to make us cry seeing your interactions with these kids." Spiral joked, Pac and Cylindria laughed lightly at the remark.

"Aw come on, it's the least I can do. Besides, the poor guys are probably really scared, the last thing I want is for them is to be constantly afraid in their childhood." The thought of that made Pac frown, wishing that the ghosts were still trapped so people wouldn't have to be scared anymore.

"Some things just can't be controlled Pac, but it's nice that you're still trying to make sure people relax afterwards. I've seen the PPC do a not-so-great job at that.." Cylindria winced.

In the meantime, they decided to keep a lookout for anyone else who needs help, looking on every block to see someone struggling, but surprisingly, it's was like everything seemed fine.. too fine..

In fact, the city seemed so empty if it wasn't for the boys walking ahead of her.

"Hey, do you think we should head to Pac In It Burger? I'm starving!" Spiral asked, looking straight ahead but turning his body to look at the yellow one.

"Oof.. yeah, I could use some food right about now." Pac replied.

Were the other two not aware that it almost seemed too empty in the city right now? What's going on?

Her thoughts were interrupted when dark clouds started to form over the sun, which was strange since it was supposed to be sunny all evening.. The light rays from the sun were blocked off completely, and wind had started to pick up.

There was a sudden sound that was similar to a radio playing in the distance, and her watch was scrolling and glitching by itself, despite how much she clicked on it trying to get it to stop.

She tried to shake it off and catch up with the other two, and again, they seemed perfectly fine, just talking away as if none of this was even happening.

Cylindria decided to put her watch away, loosening the strip and sliding it off her wrist, whatever was bugging on it she could inspect it later. But then on the little screen, she saw her messaging contacts open.

She tried clicking on the buttons repeatedly to pause the action or at least slow it down, but it was to no use. She saw the scroll bar quickly go down before raising back up a little, pressing on Skeebo's contact. The glitching pixels and black bars still reappearing and disappearing every millisecond.

'Wait.. Skeebo? But he's-' Her thoughts were interrupted as she saw a spamming of messages go through her watch, asking if she was 'watching' or 'listening'... For what though?? She didn't know.

The pink Pac-Worlder looked up to see Spiral and Pac waiting for her, a normal smile on their faces.. what the hell is happening.

"C'mon Cyli." Was the only thing Spiral said before turning around, Pac doing the exact same thing.

Cylindria swallowed a lump in her throat and put away her still glitching and spamming watch, as it played a creepy melody too loud for her to focus, trying to get her to look at her watch again, but she persisted to keep ignoring it.

... However...

The pink Pac-Worlder heard a familiar voice, but she felt as if it wasn't him...

"CYLINDRIA, DON'T. DON'T FOLLOW THAT. LISTEN TO ME, THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS."

"CYLI. THAT'S NOT MY VOICE, DON'T FOLLOW IT, PLEASE."

The pigtailed girl started slowly moving towards the strange black rip in the surface, turning back to see Spiral and Pac hunched over ragdoll style, as if whatever puppet strings they were on were let go by the wood.

She turned back, her joints shaking in place as she listened to the voice she believed to be her ex... Who had died. All the while her watch kept spamming the messages.

It didn't matter though, her fingers were becoming loose, dropping the watch to the ground and continuing to move forward.

It was as if the voice was fake, laid on top of someone else's, trying to lure her in knowing how much the victim meant to her. No danger could be felt, the sounds of an old familiar voice was always the worst kind of manipulator.

As Cyli touched the black and shadowy portal, a clawed hand grabbed her by the wrist forcefully, as she screamed, the voice was replaced by distorted laughter.

.... The next thing Cyli knew when she awoke, Sherri above her sleeping soundly... Was that she didn't remember what Skeebo sounded like anymore.

hi. i'm so sorry for any mistakes. my hands are shaking so bad.

there's this old abandoned arcade in our town that got closed down ages ago, when modern video games started getting popular. i was super little when it shut down, maybe 5 or 6 years old, but i remember it had a few games that were really popular. but it wasn't enough to save it cuz the owners closed it for good and its been super creepy ever since.

to be honest it was always kinda creepy. he janitors apparently kept disappearing and i heard from some older kids that a few kids went crazy after playing this one game. i dont know though, like i said i was young when it shut down.

me (M16) and two of my friends (T, M15 and J, F16) decided to have a little fun on christmas eve and bust into the old arcade. we wanted to see if any of the games still worked, and also we just wanted to mess around and break stuff. we broke in and there were no alarms, so we thought we were all good.

when we got in, we realized we didn't have any quarters, so we broke open a machine with our crowbars to get some. i forget the name but it wasn't a famous one like pac-man, it was probably a local thing. then my friend J started spreaypainting on the thing, and i thought it would be funny to break the screen, since it didn't look active at all.

well i swung my crowbar at it and the glass went everywhere. we laughed like it was funny. my buddy T kicked it and pushed it over. we kept hitting it but then one of the panels broke off and we saw something inside.

it was blood. i know you think im crazxy but there was bloodd in the arcade cabinet an d it started dripping on our sneakrs. and when we looked closer it looked like there were organs in there, it looked like lungs and a heart. they looked like human organs. it was so so scary.

and then a bloody hand burst out of the broken screen and grabbed T's leg. we screamed and ran but it held onto T and kept him there. me and J kept running though and we didnt stopp until we were across the town,.

AWTA? and should we call the cops or hospital or something?

Welcome to my small brain dump about stuff from the past 24 hours.

I literally can’t stop thinking about the lore we got today. It’s getting so good but still SO FUCKING DEPRESSING.

The forever stuff like holy shit. It’s so creepy and scary. (Istg if pac shows up tomorrow like that I will scream). AND THE ARGUMENT?! I was in cellbit’s POV and like it genuinely took me back when he yelled. I keep watching clips cause wow that was some rooooleplay (I also keep crying at the bbh letter cause like man I miss these kids). Also the mystery man sounds like roier but for whatever reason it’s giving arin vibes to me.

I’m also now so excited for Phil tomorrow. A small note (that no one asked for) I’m glad he gets in later in the day for me. So I have time to get a lot of work done and then watch some more. I will be so on board for more destruction like there was today. Granted if he gets forever’d I will be sad. But I don’t think they’d do it to him nor would he want anything to do with the Feds at that point. He’s smart and I think the Feds have probably underestimated him. I also do hope that Phil is the turning point for fit to jump into the destruction team! :)

A Great idea, so here’s: A Game of Life and Death! (Not Really)

Summary: Wednesday likes the crane game, she really likes the crane game.

Wednesday Addams hates a lot of things, Human interaction, Color, Bright things, sometimes you. While you two were obviously dating, she still wasn’t as content with the hugs and kisses you sometimes delivered, still a bit afraid she’s going to bite back. But having a terrifyingly high IQ, you were able to deduce her bluffs which also intrigued her to a certain degree. It all eventually came to a head as a new arcade was opening in Jericho after a few, disasters which included the near death of all students.

Entering the Establishment, like a dark cloud Wednesday was at your side. You two analyzed the room to the machines and games.

“It’s a Nerds Wet dream, isn’t it?” You say with a smile, Wednesday could see how oddly content you were within this place. “I suppose I could understand the appeal for someone of your intellectual feats, yet I still find it abysmal.” She says you casually adjust your glasses a bit higher and motions for her to lead.

“Please, the pleasure is all mine to show you the amazement of video games.” You say and show her around, arranging the clsssic video games, Dig Dug, Contra, PAC MAN. She’s never even seen Pac-Man before. You stand there, rambling on about how Pac-Man revolutionized games and the importance of preserving old games for future generations, and as expected Wednesday just stares into your eyes, she wasn’t very interested in video games or any sort, but she saw the joy in your eyes and as much as she despises joy and such emotion. She couldn’t bear take it from you, but something did catch her eye.

“(Y/n), Mi Amor… what is that?” She asks, and toy Turn your head to see what she’s looking towards and it was a crane game, the crane itself was dressed up like a ravens claw, and the gifts were also very creepy to boot, of course she’d love it. She walks over to it and softly presses her palm again the cold glass, you walk up behind her, seeing both of your reflections.

“It’s a Crane Machine, you use the controls to maneuver the claw to grab the items, standard cash grab game.” You say, “Wanna play?” You say, and show off a large sack of quarters you’ve been saving up, Wednesday scoffs. “Id never subscribe myself Go such mindless drivel.” She says.

An Hour and a Half Later

Wednesdays eyes were glued to the Glass as her hands angrily moved the crane hand around, her jaw clenched as she has spent around 40 bucks worth of quarters. You leaned against the crane watching her obsession slowly burn away her sanity, but as if by the luck of god himself she got one, the crane reaches down and clenches a small black heart plush and lifts it up, Wednesdays watches intently as if drops it down the hatch and to her feet, she takes it, and clenches it hard.

“I.. I did it…” she says, you chuckle and pat her shoulder. Leaning over her shoulder, “Yeah, I’m proud of you Babe. Can I play now?” You ask, Wednesday side steps, as Victory has never tasted so bitterly good for her.

“Of course, I doubt you have the ability to seal the qualms of fate that I have in order to obtain—“ she rambles on, until you insert one quarter, and effortlessly win a plush black bear for her. You hand it to your girlfriend with the most bittersweet smile. She takes it, absolutely speechless.

“Eh? I guess you could say my love for you is Un-bear-able, Eh? Eh?” You say, she looks down at the bear for a few moments but what was probably eons for her, and for the first time in your relationship she looked at you with such terrifying hatred in her eyes. This is the first time you’ve seen her genuinely Mad. She, without much effort tears the bears head off.

“Wednesday?” You ask, your voice shaking a bit as she slowly steps closer and closer to you.

“How? How did you do it?” She says with such scorn in her voice, I’ll vitriolic poison.

“W-what Are you talking about?” You say, slowly backing away as she approaches.

“Your infectious little game, you easily won this bear while I fought tooth and nail inside the gates of hell for this! And you laugh at me?” If words could kill you’d be burned to ash.

“Babe it’s not what you think, I’m just lucky..” you say and end up at the wall of the room, Wednesdays eyes were so devoid of emotion it felt like staring into the void of evil. You were prepared to accept your death, until you felt her palm aggressively grab yours.

“Weds?” You say.

“We, Are going to play, until I get another one.”

“But.. i thought you hated the game.” You respond and she walks with you.

“I refuse to be your lackey, I don’t do Second Place.”

“There’s no leaderboard for a crane game… babe I’m sorry it just comes easy…” you say, but she ignores you, and unfortunately you spend the rest of the day in a Crane game of Life and death. Which you still easily win.

The Day finally ends with you carting around a load of items Wednesday had won, after almost draining your life savings. But for the almost murder that occurred, you didn’t particularly hate it, and you just loved the time you spent with her, as you carry it into the dorm, Enid berates her with Questions and Wednesday answers calmly, but you could see the slightest smile on her face, which made it all with it.

Maybe you’ll bring her back next time, but, avoid the cranes next time.
