OH YEAH! I DO VOICES!
I totally forgot to post this here!
youtube
Since this blog is meant to eventually replace my terrible addiction to the hellsite formally known as twitter, here's my obligatory showreel post!
My contact details are in the description but you can also DM me if that's more comfortable. I can bring a range of scrungly voices at flexible rates to whatever project you're doing! I can also do voice work editing/mastering (Which is most of what I do for alfa these days). Need someone to clean your VA up? I'm your guy!

Right in time for bad weather to roll in!
There's a game on the Vita that I adored because you created both your character and also a second character that followed you around. (in that game, you're a little fella and your secondary is basically your babysitter who can't feel emotions and is programmed to be not be fond of you)
On many consoles, there's another game where you create your character and also create a secondary and it's very much your first in authority. (Arisen and Pawns? Multiple people knew of the game when I posted fanart of my silly duo so.)
However, there's tragically a third game I found in which you also have two characters and the first one is a fella, a hooman... and the second is AI. And absolutely adores you. Buuuut I made my primary a kind of indifferent fella named Adam and then in honors of the first one I mentioned, I named my secondary 'sqlmn' which is basically pronounced 'salmon'. Which is what my angy babysitter was named, Salmon.
Anyway I'm too embarrassed to admit which game I'm playing so have fun guessing!

wait. so does that mean i have permission to write fanfics about eatingouthornydilfs? (make it a tag i beg)
well, i better fill my time with something useful 😼😼✍️
-🌹
I mean, I personally don't care, as long as it's only for jokes and not serious fics, it'll be fun to see what you guys come up But do make sure you have permission from Elliott first tho, if he finds it uncomfortable, then yeah, let's not do it then. Since me and Elliott only see ourselves as friends, so don't be making it weird, alright?

Uncharacteristic angry rant post incoming
The absolute WORST place for spam bots/accounts to be allowed to flourish is an online writing website. There is nothing worse than logging into your account and seeing a rare notification that someone interacted with your story only to find out that it was just a spam bot/account advertising some random bullshit service or liking your work to get your attention.
In a time when writers are starved for someone to interact with their work or show a little appreciation for something they wrote and had the courage to share, it is absolutely soul crushing to get your hopes up only to find out the only “person” that wants to click on your story is a dumbass spam account.

I need to talk about my new OC. Their name is Bendy. I’m about to go into the backstory/angst, but two minor things before I get to that: They are a monoformer & a Mnemosurgeon. Anyway, backstory/angst time:
There’s the basic stuff of them having originally being a ‘Con, before becoming a neutral, and occasionally deciding to help out either faction, among other things happening in their life. But, oh, here’s the biggest thing ever- it’s definitely a shock to them.
This Bendy isn’t the real one. This one is a clone.
In the past, the real Bendy ended up dying in a fight when the war was nearing halfway. The real Bendy’s friend (who I’ll just dub “Creator” because I don’t have a clue for a real name), felt so much grief over their friends death.
There hadn’t even been a goodbye between them and the real Bendy, and the Creator wished that there was something they could’ve done for their friend, but there was nothing.
No matter how hard the Creator had tried, they just couldn’t move on from their friend’s death. So, since they couldn’t exactly revive the real Bendy, they settled on the next best thing: Making a Clone.
They were able to give Clone Bendy/present/current Bendy all of the original’s memories (except for the death memory, which the creator changed to Bendy just being hurt, and saved by some medics), and tried to bond with the new Bendy.
However, as the time went on, the Creator noticed how different this clone was- and although they weren’t exactly a revived/brought back to life version of the original, the Creator still considered that this Bendy “Came back wrong/came online wrong”.
So, what the Creator did, was that they removed any of the new memories that this Bendy had after the time of being brought online, including the memories of the Creator themselves. (All the original Bendy memories remained+past memories of the Creator, but those did seem a little foggy). And then sent Bendy away.
And, in the present/future, Bendy would eventually stumble across an old abandoned lab, which contained clips and videos of the Creator making them. So, Bendy ultimately learns the truth of the fact that they’re a clone.
They don’t really take it that well, though. Quickly gaining the mindset of “I’m just a clone/I’m not really a real person, whatever happens to me doesn’t matter.”

had some new followers the last few days so i just want to say — please personalise your blog and include your age or an 18+ indicator! the default avatar & no title/bio makes you look like a bot and is an almost certain way to get blocked by myself and most other writers!

Remember how like a decade ago everyone on here loved predictive text bots, which all learned their "vocabulary" from asks, from phrases their creator fed to them, and from words and phrases just floating around tumblr? I still follow sbnkalny lol. Have for years. And that thing is constantly regurgitating mashed-up quotes from like, the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages.
On an unrelated note, who here likes collages from magazine cutouts, or music that samples other songs, or blackout poetry? Or any other piece of art that uses someone else's art and transforms it in some way?

Transformers: Mosaic - The End of the Beginning...
Originally posted on May 31st, 2008

deviantART | Seibertron | TFW2005 | BotTalk
wada sez: In February 2008, to celebrate the first anniversary of the Mosaic project, van Reyk and Knowler announced a special event, asking people to submit strips for “the mother-of-all web comics, a real anthology” set after the then-recent Megatron Origin, each featuring a different character, which would all be posted in a single batch. In total, they received a whopping 42 submissions, requiring them to release the strips in six batches. For whatever reason, after the first batch, each batch was uploaded to deviantART with its strips in the reverse order—an ordering later reflected in Seibertron’s archive’s numbering. Because these are standalone strips by different writers, I’ve decided to avoid the headache and simply follow Seibertron’s numbering. And to give each strip a bit more room to breathe, I’ve made the decision to re-serialise them at the usual rate of one per day, so, uhh... get ready for a lot of Megatron Origin! The event was accompanied by a few covers, which I’ve collected here. Headliners Andrew Griffith and Joana Lafuente were, at this point, still fanartists, coming up on their IDW debuts. Does the name Dylan Gibson seem familiar? It should! He's the artist of "The Beast Within", the infamous Metrodome DVD pack-in comic—any doubts over his technical skill should be put to rest by this striking piece. See below for a mirrored version of van Reyk and Knowler’s announcement with stipulations for submissions, along with clean art for a couple of the covers.

“The End of the Beginning.” TF: Mosaic’s first birthday.
Transformers Mosaic will be celebrating its first birthday in June, 2008, and we need YOUR help to celebrate. Our plan is to create the mother-of-all web comics, a real anthology composed of numerous individual Mosaics.
1. Each Mosaic must be set in IDWniverse, just after the events of IDW’s “Megatron; Origin.” 2. Each Mosaic must focus on a unique character (First in, first served), and must tell the story of their early days in the war and how it has affected them. 3. Anyone wishing to get involved must be a member of Transformers: Mosaic and the IDW forums. 4. All scripts must have a complete creative team (writer, artists, colourist, letterer) established before they are submitted. 5. Each piece must have at least 2 people involved in each Mosaic, not including letters. You can not write, draw and colour the whole thing. 6. You are only allowed to be involved in three different pieces. 7. Letterers may work on as many pieces as they can. 8. Scripts must be submitted by end of March, clearly stating all members involved. 9. Once approved, art must be completed by the end of May. Please do not submit scripts if this deadline can not be met. 10. Completed pieces are to be emailed to [email protected] and are not to be displayed anywhere until they’ve been posted by TF: Mosaic. 11. Finished piece should be approximately 850 X 1300, and should contain "TRANSFORMERS: MOSAIC", title and full credits. 12. All art should be in .jpg format. 13. Josh van Reyk & Shaun Knowler have final say on all scripts. 14. All pieces will be released on June 18th, 2008.
Some come and help us celebrate what has been a fantastic first year!
-Josh van Reyk & Shaun Knowler.

BEGINNERS GUIDE TO BLUESKY
Hiya! Curious about joining bluesky but intimidated by all the features? Already on bluesky but want to learn more? Then welcome to my quick guide on getting started and navigating bluesky!~
What is Bluesky?
it’s a social media site that’s owned by no single person or company. it's aim is to bring back the early days of twitter before bots, elon musk or algorithms took over. Personally I find the site really cozy, wholesome, and engaging. my Bluesky account for example
What’s unique about Bluesky?
→ CUSTOMIZATION: ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎your timeline is very easy to control. There’s tons of options, so be sure to go through each tab in your settings. some options include: turning off autoplay, changing the order in which threaded replies show, changing DM settings, content preferences and lots of visual app settings.
→ MODERATION LISTS: human made, mass blocklists. These are public lists of accounts that when you subscribe to you automatically block or mute everyone in that specific blocklist. A great way to avoid unwanted content, and interactions. ✦ Moderation lists I recommend will be below the cut
→ STARTER PACKS: recommendation lists on who to follow, made by users. You can even curate your own starter pack of recommendations! ✦ Starter pack recommendations will be below the cut
→ FEEDS: public timelines, basically. There are a lot of feeds you can join, or you can even create your own. I made a feed featuring just my pixel art so it doesn’t get cluttered with text posts or other photos in my media tab. ✦ I’ll post feeds I recommend below and link you to a tutorial on how to create your own feed
→ BLOCKING/MUTING: bluesky has a great blocking system. When you block someone they can no longer see, or interact with you. They also have a feature to make your blog inaccessible unless logged in. you can also mute specific people, delete post replies, and even detach your post from a reblog. You can also mute specific words, phrases, tags etc.
→ NSFW: bluesky allows NSFW content, including artwork, porn, lewds etc. They also have a great moderation page to avoid the content completely, censor the content, or show it if you’d wish. ✦ just go to settings > moderation > toggle on NSFW settings and it’ll let you heavily moderate.
→ LABELS: this is a really cool feature on the site, you can subscribe to certain pages that enable a lot of fun/useful labels that help you in different ways! (like pronoun tags, artist tags etc) ✦ Labels to browse will be posted below
→ COMMUNITIES: the vastly diverse communities really feel like the best parts of tumblr. since you can so heavily curate your experience, it can really feel like a calming oasis. Mine is mostly artists, and other creatives.
there’s also a large community of professional artists, art directors, authors, celebrities, and even the best shitposters from twitter. the app really is what you make of it but it’s thriving right now.
RECOMMENDATIONS & LINKS BELOW ⬎
→ MODERATION LISTS:
HATE SPEECH: NAZIS | MAGA | MAGAv2 | MAGAv3 | TRANSPHOBES & HOMOPHOBES | FAR RIGHT | FAR RIGHTv2 | FAR RIGHTv3 | ELON MUSK FANBOYS | ANTI-BLACK | ANTI-VAX
NFT/AI/CRYPTO: MASTERLIST | AI/NFT | AI/NFTv2 | AI FANBOYS | CRYPTO | NFTs
SPAM/SCAMMERS: SPAMBOTS | BOTS | CONTENT SCRAPERS | CONTENT FARMING
✦ to block or mute everyone in the blocklist at once, click subscribe in the top right corner:
Tumblr media
→ STARTER PACKS:
ART: PIXEL ART | PIXEL ARTv2 | WOMEN OF PIXEL ART | BADASS DIGITAL ARTISTS | MAGIC THE GATHERING ARTIST | PAINTERS OF BLUESKY | INDIE COMIC CREATORS | LGBTQIA+ COMIC CREATORS | WEBCOMICS ULTIMATE COLLECTION
GENERAL: WOMEN OF BSKY | AUTHORS | LGBTQ NEWS
SHITPOSTERS: JUNIPER | JUNIPERv2 | MASTERLIST | SCIENCE SHITPOSTERS
✦ for more niche starter packs, use the search function. search your specific interest and ‘starter pack’ and you’ll find some!
→ FEEDS:
DISCOVER | WHATS TRENDING | MENTIONS | ART | TRENDING ART
THE GRAM: a timeline for exclusively image posts from those you follow. no textposts etc. ONLYPOST: similar to the gram, it shows a timeline of only those you follow. no reposts, just original posts. 📌: a way to bookmark posts. just reply with the pin emoji.
✦ there’s tons of others feeds as well! just use the feed tab and you can browse feeds or search for specific ones.
✦ TUTORIAL ON HOW TO CREATE A CUSTOM FEED FOR YOUR ART/POSTS
→ LABELS:
SKYWATCH: most popular label. Lots of useful labels!
AI Labels: identifies AI users, can also enable hiding the posters.
Pronouns: self explanatory but useful. can add a badge with your pronouns!
✦ you can search for additional label bots on bluesky!
OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS:
✦ EXPIRIENCE ENHANCING TOOLS RECS ✦ CLEARSKY: TRACK BLOCKS AND BLOCKLISTS ✦ SKYFEED: CREATE CUSTOM FEEDS EASILY ✦ use the block function often. do not entertain trolls or hate speech. ✦ as well as starter packs, there’s also lists! lists can be used in the same way to create curated lists of accounts. it’s a good way to keep track of specific genres of posters you’re interested in, and finding new ones! ✦ hashtags: use them! they’re beneficial in boosting your post. you can even link hashtags in your bio making you easier to find. another method of making you more visible is if you post an ‘interest’ post! basically just type things you’re interested in and it’ll help people find you / vice versa ! ✦ update your profile first thing, like bio avi etc. make a small post so people know you're real. interact and engage! the communities there are so welcoming!
I think that covers abt everything i wanted to cover! Hope this was helpful and thanks for reading lol

Scammers pretending to be Palestinian v6
(Scammers pretending to be Palestinian v6)
This guide is meant to inform you on some ways to differentiate legitimate fundraisers from those created by scammers who have been impersonating Palestinians for several months now. While originally I tried to list the scam blogs in these posts, Im just making this now a general overall method to spot scams.
Disclaimer: This guide is not to say all Palestine based asks are from bots or a scammer. Rather, it is meant to explain the reasoning why something is legitimate or not. Do not use this guide as an excuse to claim every single Palestine fundraiser is a scam.
TL;DR: In the span of you saying someone’s bot, you could be using tumblr search instead of telling me your reporting every ask you get as a scam without looking at the account.
One of the first things to keep in mind is that most asks you get will come from accounts who check the notes of a post. Meaning they saw you and decided to send you the ask or DM to share their fundraising post. This is not bot behavior and often is done by those is unfortunate situations that desperately need funding and as a result is a common occurrence across the internet. If this bothers you, it is suggested to turn off your askbox or limit DMs to mutuals instead of the posting in the scam tag that every ask you get is from a scammer when it’s a gfm account that has been vetted by a well known blog that may even be on a list of verified fundraisers if you bothered to look it up.
Secondly, while originally a non-gfm fundraiser may have been suspicious (such as PayPal or gogetfunding) it has since been decided and clarified that such fundraisers are now used when a gfm is shut down unexpectedly and the original creator informs the donors that they will need to resend it their support to a new fundraiser. If you do not see any mention of a previous gfm in a PayPal/gogetfunding post there is a possibility that searching parts of the post may show that the content is from someone else and the source may still be active with no mention of tumblr itself indicating the tumblr post is impersonating the real gfm.
Thirdly, due to language barriers legitimate accounts may use asks from other vetted fundraiser blogs with only minor edits. While this isn’t something I’d suggest doing, it’s understandable the situation unfortunately relies on copying someone else’s words to ask for support. However, please don’t reuse the post content unless you were given permission or are related to the original fundraiser such as being a family member. Images may be borrowed from other accounts, though they may be stolen from offsite places. This is not full proof of a scam, as it’s suggested to search around for proof of who originally posted the images. Please understand not everyone is natively an English speaker and Google translate isn’t always accurate. Some may reuse someone else’s posts unaware that it’s suspicious behavior.
Fourthly, most scam accounts have reused a certain style of ask often mentioning needing insulin (Humalog) for a relative, having nose freezes due to asthma, being down to their last pen and asking for “nt much”, or referring to their family being in the ruins of a church. The frequency of these asks is so common searching them in tumblr search should bring up plenty of posts. Additionally, the names used by these accounts generally appear across multiple blogs that have been seen running different kinds of scams later on. A majority of their posts are almost always stolen off a real fundraiser they don’t link to.
Fifthly, in regards to verification it is very easy to search a username and see who vetted an account. Scammers will often say they’re verified but don’t list who or even paste a username that has never existed at all when you go to check. If asked about it, they generally will opt to block you without responding. There are people who will take time out of their day to ensure someone’s legitimate just be patient.
Lastly, don’t just assume every Palestinian gfm is a scam and stop acting like sharing a scam is fine because you don’t want to accidentally ignore someone in need. If you regularly see the posts from legitimate blogs and share them you would eventually be able to tell the day old private PayPal account asking for insulin funds is suspiciously asking for a low amount of funds compared to everyone else.
Please read this post for other info;
If I’ve missed anything, please let me know.
