Oh, floor time.

Haven't drawn anything in a while due to work draining all my energy. So here's a little comic that felt like a perfect way to describe my last few weeks.

Plumpad Sketchpad Functional for The Sims 2

This is a 4to2 conversion from Tunayegit, low poly. This object is cloned from Mog Hughson Manuscript and works in the same way.

Your sims can use it to improve their Creativity Skill but I also added an option to increase fun and comfort (and fixed the jump bug that occurred when sims put the object on the floor). After some time they will complete the drawing (you can't choose it like the easel, it's always the same, but if you have FreeTime you can edit the cover art) and sell it (like the novel does). Can be used also by children. Can be put on floor, tables or desks. Found in Hobby-Creativity. Both pad and cover (screen) are recolorable.

I love the concept of testament and A.B.A best friends, test and her just playing minecraft with one another, A.B.A just ranting about her week, para, and things that annoyed her/made her happy (testament being one ♡) , all the while testament is sitting there with a headset on, humming in agreement, while making the most optimal complicated Redstone auto farms.

A wangxian time travel Marry My Husband (kdrama) AU where wei ying is dying in a hospice, but before he does he decides he wants to see his sister again in person, not over video chat. She is very pregnant and very at risk and can’t make the trip.

It’s his final wish. (He ‘jailbreaks’)

Getting there isn’t easy. His body is weak and movement hurts, but his stubbornness gets him to the train station. Sitting on the train allows him to rest.

He’s not completely aware of his taxi ride to his sister’s, but he dreams of his mom telling him she’ll take care of him.

That she’s sending him a present to make sure he’s alright. He just needs to see it.

He gets to his sister’s and something is very wrong. At first he thinks it’s the baby, but he gets a glimpse of her horrified face, men in masks

And a gun.

He’s falling. Everything goes black.

He wakes up a decade in the past.

He’s still at his old job, the one at Lan Industries that he loved. It’s years before he was fired for stealing a coworker’s work.

He realizes he has a mystery to solve. More than one. Who claimed his work was stolen? Who killed him?

But, more time-sensitive, he needs to remember enough of his life to not alarm anyone

He remembers Lan Zhan as being a tough boss. He is tough. He’s unamused when wy makes a scene at his desk when his desk neighbor gropes him, forgetting they dated around this time

He does ask if wy wants to submit an HR report while handing his ice for his knuckles.

wy: no, I think we’re dating. We are dating, right?

lz: I believe you broke up?

wy, pretty sure it was on again: well we’re for sure broken up NOW

lz: Mn.

The closer wy gets to lz, the more he feels like there’s… something.

There’s also something very shady going on at the office in secret, and he can’t put his finger on what it is.

And now he needs to figure out what and also avoid whatever got him sick in the first place

A lot to do for a very busy time traveller!

And then lz makes a reference to an international incident that happens 3 years in the future

Oh. His mother had made a promise.

Hero squirmed uncomfortably:

“But- didn’t the Edna Mode School of Thought say-”

The end of this sentence died on their lips as Designer glared at them, waving dangerously with their scissors gliding in their hand:

“I know what they say. Do you fly?”

“N-no?”

“Then most of the risks are averted. All clothes have dangers, if you put it like that. You can trip on a scarf or on new shoes too.”

“But capes do nothing.”

“Excuse me? The propaganda has come too far!”

Designer rubbed their forehead:

“Look, if you’re cut from help and backup, trust me, you’ll be grateful for the extra fabric. You can carry things or a person with it. You can rip it apart for bandages. It can be used as a shock blanket or a way to protect anonymity. ”

“I-I didn’t think about that-”

“Exactly.”

Designer stepped forward and poked at their forehead:

“So you’re gonna walk out to the world with your shiny new suit, you’re going to heroically cover a citizen in need with your crazy useful cape, and you’re going to look damn good doing it. Understood?”

“Y-Yes, Designer.”

"Don't be ungrateful to the Cape and its wonders. Or it will end you."

i was hoping to make a post like this under happier circumstances, but here goes.

as some of you know, everything with the cancellation and renewal campaign has happened right on top of the worst part of my mom's cancer treatment (plus the show was cancelled on my actual birthday 💀). i won't go into details, but it's been tough. lots of ups and downs, mostly downs, luckily ending (for now) on as much of an up as circumstances allow. the whole thing has been weirdly tied to the cancellation for me, kind of amplifying every feeling. the grief got mixed up, and there was so much of it - mourning the loss of the kind of future i thought i'd have with my mother and the time we might not get, mourning the end of a show that means so much to me and is such a big part of my life. different types of grief, sure, and of different magnitudes, but in one big ugly swirl. i sort of had a breakdown right at the start of february, and it was because of news about my mom, but it morphed into my brain telling me everything i'd ever written was shit and wanting to delete it all. stuff like that, spilling over.

anyway. i was holding off on writing this post to see if the show got picked up by someone else. but i still want to say it. because what also spilled over was the support and community from this fandom, and being in this space (despite the rough times and high emotions) helped me through it, because of all of you here. whether we talk regularly, or you left a comforting reply or simply a like on one of my posts about having a hard time (i tried to keep them few), or wrote a nice comment on a fic, or said something funny or nice or insightful in the tags of a gifset, or was active here (or on twt) in any way, talking/sharing/creating stuff about the show - THANK YOU.

you all helped me through all the ups and downs, and i am so grateful. thank you for being here, listening, distracting, helping me feel some joy despite the horrors. i love you and i love this incredible show and all it has brought and will continue to bring and inspire, and although it should go without saying, i'm not going anywhere. just do me a favor and give yourself a big ol' hug from me, and know that you made a difference for some random guy on the internet (but in reality for many more, and for this fandom as a whole, just by being here and being you) 💕
