So I’m taking a python coding class, which has been really fun! We just got a project which is basically to make your own mini Choose Your Own Adventure game. Can y’all help me come up with a scenario and potential choices and outcomes?

I am really confused about this game. Is it like "Doki doki literature club" ? the game seems to break the fourth wall after getting bad endings and someone speaks in red text. Is it Ren and is he stuck in the game like Monica?Or is he and Redacted separate people, with him being a game character, but Redacted being some sort of entity who's stuck in the void of the game,or in it's code, and acknowledges that it's a game and someone's playing it and they speak to the player, not the game's protag?
✦゜ANSWERED: 14 Days With You is like 14 Days With You. It's not meant to be similar to DDLC in any way, and Ren isn't supposed to be like Monika or any other self-aware character.
Please don't associate 14DWY with other games just because they share similar tropes. /lh
But!! To answer your question: Ren isn't aware that Angel and the player are separate people. As of right now, he considers Angel and you as the same entity, and speaks to you as though you're part of his universe.
Ren is aware that his entire existence only comes into fruition whenever you play the game — but to him, that's considered normal — the same way getting wifi from trees and not discovering 80% of the ocean is considered normal for us. Nothing is out of place for him, and the way he interacts with his environment doesn't seem weird or out of place for him.
The Dead Ends are the only time Ren breaks the fourth wall, but it's still a massive WIP and there's not enough content for it to make much sense yet. But once more Days get released, this will be further explained!!

List five canon things you dislike so much you've decided they aren't real (so they can't hurt you)
Mine:
(spoilers ahead for hunger games, vampire diaries, marvel, and gilmore girls)
Finnick's ending in THG. Him and Annie are happily together with their child.
Toy Story 4. I love how Toy Story is a perfect trilogy and they knew Toy Story 3 was a perfect ending so they could leave it there :D
Delena endgame. I love that Stefan and Elena found their way back to each other and are living their best life.
Steve's ending in Avengers: Endgame. I loved that he stayed in the present with Sharon and him and Bucky and Nat and Sam are all besties. (Basically most of Endgame and everything post-Endgame is not real to me).
The ending of Gilmore Girls and the A Year in The Life reboot. It makes me so happy that Rory and Logan are happily together, Lorelai didn't wait years to finally marry Luke, Jackson never lied to Sookie about the vasectomy, and Dave Rygalski and Lane got married and toured the world as successful musicians.
no pressure tagging: @bouquet-of-wilting-violets @backgroundagent3 @heartandflowerball @vrakali @thstarsofsilver @nightskyye @daydreaming-optimist @burning-daylight @galactic-gamora @kanerallels @colored-pins @5omebody-else and anyone else who sees this and wants in!

Anon or not, tell me something - anything - that reminds you of my OC ship.
It can be concepts, quotes, songs, images, anything. If I ever mentioned any ideas about them that you liked, but ended up being left behind, you can bring them up too.

honestly i cant help but get myself really fascinated by what are this game's, or maybe the people who made this game's, stances on poiltics. in a weird way it feels like the game has a sort contempt for every ideology (at the same time it may try to sell you about every single one at some point) as in, it paints communism as something really stupid, and doomed to fail. it surely seems to strongly paint racists and fascists as bad people, and apparently trying to be a fascist eats up all your morale. it also mocks centrism, if you keep choosing "none of the above" options that dont commit to anything. ultraliberalism, royalism.. everything is presentend to you and you can choose to go by any path you wish, but seems like no matter what, the game always presents these ideas as stupid, and mocks you for accepting - or refusing - them.
though i feel like it may be less about any ideology and more about the game just generally liking to mock harry and the player a lot. and the fact harry (and his inner voices) are very stupid and probably dont actually understand anything they try to believe in. and the whole game is generally swallowed up by a constant tone of irony and comedy its hard to tell if anything it says is serious in any way. does any of that make sense

I know it is popular right now reblog timeguette jokes, but I wish you wouldn't. The event went a long way in normalizing that gay love doesn't have to be mutually reciprocated, and that heterosexual women can be allies and accept that nonbinary people have feelings for them. These jokes are likely going to push away heterosexual female allies, and make them less likely to include gay representation in the future.
Huh?

A Send Your Own Tribute Hunger Games Story
My take on the send your own tribute hunger games fics that were pretty big a few years ago. Everyone can request/create 1-2 tributes (depending how much traction this gets maybe more), please keep in mind it would be great to have variety, not everyone can be a good hero. Also please try to keep things realistic, if you're from District 1 or 2 you probably won't be very nice, if you're from poorer districts or are younger you won't have as many skills as the careers etc.
If you don't want to create a tribute but still want to participate you can be a judge or sponsor, which will be involved in who dies/wins in the game. I will go more into detail on this after applications.

I’m obsessed with the idea of a Dark Urge with the divine soul sorcerer subclass.
I know it’s like the cleric-flavored version of a sorcerer, but I would love it for story reasons. You could really lean into the whole child of divinity thing.
With a sorcerer in general, your magic is just an instinctive, intrinsic part of you. With the divine soul subclass, you would have that added level of having evil divine magic right from Bhaal himself (inflict wounds) and be shown to be his favored child with the “Favored by the Gods” feature. It would add another level of deliciousness to your Dark Urge’s relationship with Orin by showing that YOU were clearly dad’s golden child.
From a role play standpoint, it would be fun for evil Dark Urges to lean into and fascinating for good ones to contend with.
