hey Alex! I've noticed some Easter eggs on your mumbo-iron golem art, may you tell us more?

im so glad you asked anon!! First thing, I LOVE doing Easter eggs on my art, but not all of them have it. The mumbo/ iron golem one I tried to draw roses, that reminds him of grian (my headcanon), then Mumbo's tie, that should've been on the other side red because skizz because wild life because spanners, a red earring for swag and two dots for the vampire mumbo headcanon of the fandom in general.

Then there's my certainly laz art, where I add some memes and refs from our community and streams. On my latest drawing, the one where he's with the younger self, you can see a specific flower, which is the white Lily. I wonder what that means.... Also that's a spoiler for a future fanfic made by @violet-ophelia-boss if you're interested.

Another detail that I loved doing was the "happy birthday mumbo art". I added the lil peace love and plants on the helmet and I asked a friend who's learning Japanese how could I write happy birthday in Japanese, so that's a detail. I was tempted to draw the watcher sign on jimmy and/or Grian on the latest art where they're with Joel as well, but I ended up not doing it because it's too visible.

New Year - New PJ design!

And this time - it's not an additional one... it's a replacement! (Kinda)

This is PJ back when he was a kid and was still living with their Ink. I took the original design I did back in 2016 and updated parts of it to reflect the more updated Ink design. Plus, the expression and look of PJ here reflects more of canon than my original one.

Some notes:

The magenta hue on their legs can be any of the main colors PJ has (Cyan, Magenta, or Yellow)... just magenta looked the best here

They are a little bit unstable as a kid so they have more flowy bits on them

And it's still fine to draw them with their older design! Honestly I'm just adding more and more outfits for PJ with each of these designs, but if I do anything with PJ as a kid - this will be the design I'll be going with.

Hey is there any way to do a sympathetic or even good-aligned Orange Lantern? We’ve had sympathetic/good red lanterns, yellow lanterns, star sapphires…I feel like orange is next, but how can avarice/greed be good? Maybe a character with a god complex is so bad it wraps back around from being a flaw to a virtue—like, maybe they’re so greedy that they think of the entire universe as being part of their possession, so anything that threatens the universe is something they would fight against. Like the same kind of vibe as a dragon that thinks of an entire village as their hoard, so they protect the village. Or maybe their greed manifests itself as greed for knowledge or greed for worship or greed for friends/allies (as, perhaps, types of “power”), so even if they’re not like fully heroic necessarily, they can still be complex and complicated and can play off of the other Lantern Corps in interesting ways.
