requesting maybe changbin feeling a little insecure about his tummy and a bunch of comfort and fluff with that? maybe tummy kisses too hehe, with reader being a little more dominant ^^
Absolutely! It got a bit angsty, but hopefully, it's to your liking! ❤️❤️❤️
Insecurity, Begone
Summary: Changbin doesn't want to weigh you down with his insecurities. Specifically on his stomach. Sadly, you're not as oblivious as he thinks.
Pairing: Changbin x Reader (F!)
Genre: Fluff, angst
Warnings: Changbin being insecure, talk about insecurities and a bit of body shaming, Changbin having self-doubts, reader wearing the pants in the relationship
Word Count: 3.1K
Small Note: Everyone is beautiful in their own way. Please understand that everyone suffers from insecurities, whether it's mental or physical. But it doesn't matter how much you weigh, how tall or small you are, how much acne you have, how you style your hair, or what style you have. You are a beautiful and wonderful person, and there are people who will always love you regardless. 💕
Everyone has insecurities. Changbin knew that. He saw it in all of his members every single day, in some shape or form. Bangchan was always insecure about his skills in leading. Minho was insecure on his personality, since some Stays always told him about how mean he was.
Hyunjin was insecure on his looks, knowing he had a reputation to uphold, but also not wanting people to just focus on that. Jisung was insecure about so much, Changbin couldn't even keep track of it. Felix was insecure about his freckles for a while, but now it was about his hair. If it wasn't blonde, Felix was even more insecure about it. Seungmin and Jeongin both had issues with their faces.
Seungmin was insecure about his smile, and Jeongin was insecure about his resting face. Even you, his wonderful girlfriend of two years now, had your insecurities that he was aware of. Changbin was also a victim of insecurities.
He had been his entire life. First, it was in his singing and rapping skills, because JYP was always so hard on him. It wasn't the right pitch, his voice was too shaky, his pronunciation was sloppy, the gravel-like voice he did when he rapped didn't sound good. Thankfully, Changbin had his members to fall back on.
Then, it was how skinny he was. Stays always pointed it out. He looked like a stick person; his head was disproportionate to his body, he looked malnourished, he looked so different from his members. And so to fix himself, he started working out. Working up his muscle, eating more. Along the way, he found that he actually enjoyed working out a lot. And Stays seemed to love how buff he had gotten.
He liked it, too.
But then, he noticed something he wasn't really fond of. His stomach, which seemed to be so much better than before...it almost looked inflated. His pecks had gotten bigger, and his torso had gotten thicker, rounder. He looked fat in some angles. He...hated it. And he wanted to fix it, but...he didn't know how.
He started working out more, first. He'd spend hours in the gym, working on his core, trying desperately to get the roundness to go away. To add a bit more effectiveness, he started to eat less. It killed him so much, but he had to. He couldn't live with seeing pictures and videos of himself looking like...like this.
Changbin started to wear more black to try and hide his figure and would always adjust the camera to hide his tummy whenever he went live. And the fans didn't seem to notice, which was good.
But you did.
You weren't dumb. You could see when someone was struggling with insecurities, because you've had your own battles with them, just like everyone else. And seeing Changbin do this to himself hurt you. It worried you.
The excuses were the first things you caught onto. When Changbin would come back from the gym all sweaty, you'd always confront him about where he had been.
"Bin, where were you?" It was always concerning, considering he'd be gone for so long, and would always look so worn around you.
"Oh, dance practice just went longer than usual." It was the same answer all the time. At first, you believed it, considering they were having a comeback and all. But then, you got suspicious. He'd only have dance practice on the weekdays. But...he'd leave during the weekends and come back the same way.
And so, you confronted Chan about it. You asked him about whether or not they had been having dance practice every day for so long. So imagine your shock when he told you that they hadn't had a practice for a while.
Then, it was the amount of food he had been eating. Changbin only ate one meal a day now, and it was dinner with you. Any time you asked if he wanted dessert, he'd turn you down. And that was equally as weird. He loved food, sweets specifically. So seeing him turn them down was very concerning.
Eventually, Changbin stopped changing around you, too. He'd always go into the bathroom to change. It was never, ever around you. He used to change in front of you all the time. Hell, you both changed around each other, but now...he didn't. And it really made you worry.
But nothing worried you more than the fact that Changbin stopped cuddling the way you both always cuddled. Most of the time, you'd lay on his chest, right on top of Changbin. His arms would be around you, and you'd nuzzle right up against his pecks. It was always so comfortable, and it always made you feel so safe and protected.
But now, he'd just sling an arm around you. Any time you'd try and lay down on him, he'd scoot away, claiming that he really didn't feel like laying down right now.
But in all reality, it was what he wanted most.
He just didn't want you to notice how round his stomach was. How his pecks weren't as hard as they used to be and have gotten softer. How he himself had gotten softer. He couldn't deal with you saying something about it. Changbin didn't want you to point anything out, because he already felt like crying every time he looked into the mirror.
Eventually, one day, you decided to hint to him. Hoping and praying that Changbin would take a hint and just...talk to you. You had been in the living room, scrolling through some social media, and Changbin had been watching some show on the TV. It felt like a good time to say something.
"Hey, Binnie?" You asked. You set your phone down, looking across the room to your boyfriend, who hummed, looking to you as well.
"Yeah? What's up, hun?" He replied, not really seeming phased that you wanted to ask something.
"I just..." And then, you paused. How were you supposed to hint that you wanted him to talk about what was bothering him? "Can we cuddle? Like we usually do?"
"Of course, we can." Though, Changbin seemed tense about it. He was smiling, but...he looked nervous.
You didn't say anything though, rather just smiling as you saw him walk to you, kissing your forehead before guiding you both to lay down on the couch. Once you were cuddled up into his chest, you let out a sigh, nuzzling into him, which made him tense even more than normal.
"I love you..." You told him, looking towards the TV. It practically melted Changbin's heart.
"I love you too, baby." Changbin replied. It was the easiest response in the world for him. And that was your opening.
"You know...if you need to talk, I'm here, right?" You figured it was the best hint you could possibly give him.
"I know. And the same thing goes for you, okay?" He responded. What you told him helped him relax a bit, but he didn't want to talk about it right now. So long as he got the hint, you suppose.
"Okay." You responded. You two spent the rest of that evening together like that, completely forgetting your worries.
At least, until a few days later.
It hadn't even been a week when you got a call from Chan. It wasn't really something you were expecting, considering the fact that he didn't reach out unless it had something to do with Changbin. Either way, you answered.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Y/n. I'm so sorry about reaching out unannounced, but...are-are you busy right now?"
"Not at the moment, no. Why?"
"Well, um, could you come and pick up Changbin? He just passed out during practice, and-"
Hearing what Chan had just said made your heart drop to your stomach. You felt so, so sick with worry. Hell, you thought you were gonna end up throwing up.
"He...He what?"
"He passed out. I don't really know what happened, he seemed fine earlier and then just...blacked out. I just don't want him to overwork himself, and I'm gonna ask that you keep him home tomorrow, too."
"You don't have to tell me twice. I'll be over in 10 minutes."
"Alright. I'll walk him down with Jisung."
"Okay."
You didn't think you could run so fast in your life. The second you hung up the phone, you raced out of you and Changbin's apartment, and bolted to the garage where your car was. Once you were inside, you sped to JYPE, parking the car in the Valet.
You didn't even have to wait long, as Bangchan and Jisung walked out with Changbin slung around Chan's shoulder. When they got to the car, Jisung went and opened the door, Chan helping Changbin inside. Changbin just groaned, leaning back against the seat as you and Chan buckled him up.
"There we go, all nice and secure." Chan said, patting Changbin's shoulder. "When you get back, rest. I'm serious."
"Yeah, yeah." Changbin responded. He didn't seem to happy about what had happened. And you weren't, either. You were feeling a lot of things. You felt so worried about Changbin. You felt hurt that he wouldn't talk to you. You felt like you failed as a girlfriend because Changbin wouldn't talk to you.
"Take care of him, okay Y/n?" Jisung told you. You just nodded, giving a small smile. If you said anything, you'd start crying. You were sure of it.
Once the car door was shut, you started on your way home. And the ride was so ungodly quiet. You didn't want to talk right now. And Changbin...didn't even know what to say. He could tell you were upset, but he was scared that anything and everything would just make you snap. But he had to try.
"Baby, I-"
"Don't." It was a good sign for Changbin to just stop, and wait until you were ready. He knew that your focus would be on dealing with him first, and then the talking would come after.
When you guys got back to the apartment, you helped Changbin out of the car, silently walking him up to your humble abode. And once you both were inside, you let go of him, walking to the kitchen. Changbin started to follow you, but stopped upon hearing your upset and shaky voice.
"Go and sit down."
"But I wanna-"
"Sit. Down." You were serious.
And Changbin wasn't one to push his luck, especially when it was you. And so, he did as you said, going and sitting down on the couch. Meanwhile, you went and got him some food, some Kimbap and a bottle of water, going back to the living space and handing him the food and water.
"Thanks." Changbin mumbled. He didn't mean for this to happen. He didn't want you to be upset with him, he just didn't want you to worry about him. He wanted to fix himself, was that such a hard ask? Instead, he has an upset girlfriend who is taking good care of him despite it all.
You both sat in silence as Changbin ate his small meal, as well as sipping at his water. It gave you time to process your emotions, and sort through your thoughts. You just felt so...hurt. Tears brimmed your eyes, and at this point, if you didn't say something, your thoughts would eat you alive.
"Why won't you just...talk to me?" Oh, that sentence hurt Changbin. He had just finished eating, but the second he heard what you had said and saw the state you were in, his heart was just crushed.
"Baby..."
"Changbin, I want to know what's bothering you. I've been watching you work yourself to death and distance yourself...you're not even eating as much as you used to!" Everything that you had been feeling just started pouring out of you. Tears streamed down your cheeks, each one holding that bit of frustration that you had been feeling. "I want to be able to help you because I love you so much, and I can't stand not being able to because you won't just...talk!"
"Baby, no no no, please don't cry..." If Changbin thought he hated himself before, he really hated himself now. The whole reason you were like this was because of him. And he hated that.
"I don't understand why!" You brought your hands up to your face, everything you were feeling just...collapsing. "Is...is it me? Am I the issue?!"
"No, it was never you!"
"Then talk to me!" That's what shattered Changbin's heart the most. He knew that if he wanted to tell you what was bothering him, he had to calm you down, first. And so, he immediately pulled you into a hug.
"Shh, baby...I'm so sorry, I just...I didn't want to involve you in the absolute bullshit I'm going through right now. I...I had to figure all of it out for myself first." Changbin explained softly. Hearing your muffled sobs in his shoulder was killing him, but he had to make you understand. "I wouldn't have even known how to word it. I just...I'm so fucking sorry..."
You couldn't help but wrap your arms around his neck, holding him close as you tried to calm down. The sobbing slowly stopped, and he just held you in his arms, kissing your head every here and there. And once you were calm, he gently pulled away, holding your face in his hands while he wiped your tears away.
"Hey...I love you." He said gently. Changbin gently ducked his head down so his eyes met yours, moving his head whenever you looked away from him. And when he saw a small smile appear on your face, one automatically appeared on his. "There's that smile I love."
"Bin, stop..." You giggled, Changbin just smiling wider as he kissed your forehead.
"Nope, sorry. It's my duty to tell you that I love your smile. It's in the rule book."
"Changbin!"
"It's true! I'll even go and get it!" He couldn't help but laugh as well, gently pecking your lips. Once he had pulled away, you pecked his lips again.
"I love you."
"I love you, too. More than anything in this world." Changbin replied, holding you close.
The two of you laid on the couch, cuddling close after that, much calmer than before. Much better than before. And then, finally, Changbin spoke up.
"Can I be honest with you?" He asked.
"Of course, you can." You replied, looking up at him. After a long breath in and out, Changbin finally announced what had caused all of this nonsense in the first place.
"I...I've had really bad insecurities recently."
"What?"
"Yeah. I just...I noticed I've been gaining weight, and it's made me insecure. I really don't want Stay to notice, because I don't want them to make comments on it, and-"
"Okay, slow down." You said, sitting up and looking at him. Changbin stopped, blushing a bit as he saw you on top of him. "You look incredible, and healthy. What in the hell makes you think you've gained weight?"
"I just..." Changbin took a second after that, looking away from you and mumbling something that you couldn't quite hear. And so, you placed your hand onto his cheek, guiding his face to look at you.
"Baby, look at me and speak louder." You told him. Changbin could only blush more, feeling embarrassed.
"But-"
"No buts." You interrupted. Changbin just let out a whine, only for you to raise an eyebrow at him. He just huffed, repeating what he had said louder.
"My...my stomach...it's rounder than it used to be." He said. You gave a confused look, looking him over.
"Your tummy?" You repeated. "It looks fine to me."
"It doesn't look fine, it makes me look fat!"
"Changbin, baby..." You let out a sigh, rubbing his cheek with your thumb before placing a hand on his stomach. "Your stomach looks great. All of you looks great. I'm serious. This roundness isn't fat, it's muscle."
"Still...It makes me look-"
"Like someone who will make Stay feral? I totally agree." You said, Changbin pouting.
"You're not listening." He grumbled.
"No, you're not listening." You replied, before looking down to his stomach. You gently grabbed his shirt, lifting it up so you could see his beautiful skin. And then, you leaned down, placing kisses onto it. "Your stomach is absolutely gorgeous in every way, shape, and form. So what if it's not slim and up to Kpop standard? You still look undeniably hot, Bin."
"You're saying that because you're my girlfriend." Changbin mumbled. He looked away from you, a nice blush on his face.
"No I'm not."
"Yeah, you are."
"Okay, if that's how we're playing this, then fine." You made up your mind. If he was gonna be like this, then you were gonna do what he always did when you were feeling insecure.
You were gonna kiss his insecurities away.
You started by placing one directly on his belly button, before kissing your way up and down his tummy, making sure every inch of skin was appreciated, worshipped, and loved. Changbin couldn't help but smile, moving some hair out of your face as you continued, almost giddy.
"What...what are you doing?" He asked, watching as you looked up with the cutest smile on your face.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" You asked, placing a few more kisses onto his skin before continuing. "I'm kissing one of my favorite parts on you."
"Baby..."
"I'm dead serious. I love your tummy. It's so nice and plush, it's comfortable, and if I'm being honest, it gives me dilf vibes." That comment had Changbin giggling as you continued your barrage of kisses, making him smile wider.
"Babe!"
"What? I'm just spitting facts, Bin!"
"I swear, you're gonna be the death of me." Changbin continued to laugh as you rested your head on his stomach, nuzzling your cheek against it. "Oh, are you just gonna stay there?"
"Mhm."
"Y/n, I get it. I don't have anything to be insecure about, and I swear I'll come to you the next time I'm feeling insecure. Now can you pretty please just get off?"
"Nope."
"BUT WHY-"
"BECAUSE YOU'RE COMFORTABLE!"
"Y/N!"
"CHANGBIN!"
And then, you both erupted in laughter, Changbin just running a hand through your hair. The two of you eventually calmed down, relaxing in the position you were both in, completely content. Content with yourselves, and with each other.
That night, Changbin learned something extremely important. You would always be there to take his insecurities away. You were his lucky charm. You made him feel a thousand times better.
And he wouldn't have it any other way.

Overprotective PT 3
!kinda proofread!
Hope you enjoy the last part :)
Don’t forget to throw in some request!
-🩷
(They will be a few time skips)
**
I sat on the dining table down stairs slowly eating my breakfast as the boys were running around trying to figure out stuff and brining their bags down. My bag was already brought down by the help of I.N who didn’t seem as mad at me like the other guys were. So, there was no need for me to go upstairs anymore.
My head phones were on and I was eating up some bacon, eggs and potatoes Leeknow had nicely cooked for me knowing that my stomach normally acts up whenever we had to travel. Which was really sweet of him really.
The house was noisy like usual. People were walking in and out of the house. Chan was running around with papers and passports in his hands in one corner obviously stressed. Hyunjin and Han arguing about who was taking what skincare, leeknow helping I.N figure out his airport outfit and Changbin, Felix and Seungmin were taking selfies to post on bubble.
Once I finish the meal the cars pulled up in our driveway and I grabbed my heavy bag trying to carry it to the car but completely failing. Stupid stylists and packing sending me all these clothes (joking I’m totally thankful for all of them)
"Here let me help you." I.N says grabbing the bags and carrying them into the car. I say a small 'thank you' really appreciating the fact that he didn't stand there and watch me suffer.
We get into our different cars knowing our trio's.
Me, I.N, Felix, then 3 Racha, then Leeknow, Seungmin and Hyunjin. Like always. It didn’t change unless there was some type of security problem. Our car was the loudest in normal occasions but today due to the circumstances, the car ride was quiet.
No one dared to speak a word. I felt myself slowly shutting down because I was so tired because of the lack of sleep.
We had been learning the new choreography the past week and barely got enough time to sleep. Even the boys started to complain about the amount of hours we were putting in.
The sleepy red eyes and eye-bags were the biggest signs.
I was struggling to stay awake there was no lie there. I grab my energy drink and start sipping on it. Hoping it could atleast get me through the walk through of the airport.
By the time we arrive I had finished the drink and put the can in the car trash bin and got out of the car with the boys.
All the fans lining up outside, probably thousands, screaming our names and trying to get a picture or look.
"Let's go this way." The guard says shielding us from the paparazzi's flash lights.
We follow him and meet up with some of the boys making our way to the front of the airport where we all stood in line and waved. Waved at everyone and took some pictures.
I could hear the burning questions of the paparazzi about the pictures from last night. The yelling growing louder and louder. Some were horrible and others were way too insensitive.
"Just ignore them, yeah?" I.N says in my ear and I quickly look over at him nod. Nobody could see the tears that hid behind my glasses. Thank God.
I just knew I had to act normal and act like nothing was getting to me because if I did it would be suspicious if the person in the picture wasn’t ‘actually me’.
"Alright shall we?" The manager motions for all of us to follow him and we do. We follow him all the way through into the crowd and into check in.
"It must not be her it those pictures from last night then. What a scam! Her hair is blonde!" I hear some people whispering in the line that was right next to us.
"Poor girl! All the hate she's getting online is so saddening. Atleast now we know it's not her." The other girl replies while tapping on her phone.
The hate I was getting? What hate was I getting?
I questioned and pull out my phone and scroll through the new articles that read.
"New photos from last night FAKE!" I sigh in relief as people were actually believing it wasn't me in those pictures. Chan was right.
I was happy for a little while until I scroll onto twitter where things started to actually get out of hand.
I start reading each and ever comment under my hashtag. #straykidsY/n
"I knew she wasn't Idol type!"
"This is honestly disgusting how could she do that to her fans"
"Does it mean to at she's getting kicked out of straykids?"
"I told y'all she was disgusting. Y'all didn't believe me"
My jaw is left hanging and I squint my eyes scanning every single comment in shock. Why were people so mean? Why were men sexualizing me as well? Grown men?
"Y/n. Keep walking," Leeknow whispers in his scolding tone. “Your slowing down.” I try and pick up my pace and when we make it past the check in point. I quickly put my phone away and wipe the tears that had fallen.
The heat under my sweater was starting to get to me. It felt like I was slowly suffocating. It felt like the walls were crashing in.
I start to sweat as I access the way we're going.
A lot of people in the airport were staring at us. A lot of eyes were watching us. Watching me probably.
Probably thinking I'm the worst or thinking of how I would like it in my panties. Disgusting.
My hands grow sweaty and start to slowly shake. I feel my legs grow weaker. We're almost at the private jet. We're almost there.
If I can get to the jet that's all. That's all I need to do.
But the icky feeling of throwing up starts to crawl in my stomach. I start to slow down which causes Leeknow to scold me again but I can't, I can't walk. It feels like I'm slowly being pulled into the ground.
"What is it?" Leeknow says holding onto my hand. This causes everyone to also stop even the guards and staff.
"What's wrong?" He looks at me worried.
The cold sweat and pale skin worries him even more and starts to worry Chan now who is now walking from the front to the back.
"P-panic attack." I manage to say in short breathes. I'm leaning on leeknow. My breathing getting shorter by each breath.
"What is it? What going on?" Chan whispers. His hand automatically placing on my back.
"I think she's having a panic attack." Leeknow whispers.
"Fuck, Y/n. Listen, you need to breathe and walk so we can get you somewhere quieter." He talks to me softly, “can you do that for me love?” He asks.
I slowly nod and start taking slow steps. The two older boys standing by my side making sure I don't collapse.
By the time we walk into the jet I gasp for air and walk to a corner far from everyone. Leeknow and Chan following me closely behind.
“Do you need some water? Talk to me what’s wrong?” Leeknow asks kneeling in-front of me.
“It’s so hot, it’s so hot.” I start to panic even more.
My hands rip through my sweater. “Where’s your bag Y/n?” Chan asks and I point by the door. He grabs it and pulls out my small portable fan and points it my way.
A hand on my lap makes me look up. Seungmin standing there looking very worried.
"Y/nie you need to breathe my love. Breathe. Here look at me." He holds my hand and squeezes it. "See your doing a good job. Everything is okay. You don't need to panic okay? I've got you."
The world slowly starts moving at a normal speed again. Seungmin sits by me and pulls me into his arm cuddling me.
"See, there you go baby girl. You're okay now. You're fine." I look over at him and couldn’t help but smile. That didn’t last long when the feeling of nausea hits me really hard.
"I feel sick Minnie,” I say trying to get out of his grip just incase I didn’t throw up I didn’t want to throw up on him.
He furrows his eyes, “What kind of sick love?"
"I'm going to throw up." I take in deep breathes and swallow really hard trying to stop it from coming out.
"Oh my God, hold on let me grab a bag." The sound of panic rises in his voice and he moves to the side. "Chan pass me those paper bags now." He tells him in a hurry and Chan does so.
I grab it out of his hands and start to gag. The gag came with all the breakfast I had eaten. I keep throwing up until my throat and stomach start to burn.
I shut my eyes in pain. A few tears falling from all the exhaustion.
His hand was holding my hair now and rubbing my back waiting for me to empty the contents in my tummy. "Are you done?" I nod my head and he takes the trash bag away.
"Here's water babygirl." Chan hands me the bottle and I drink it then lay on the chair in my eyes slowly closing.
"How are you feeling? Talk to us.” Han pops up out of no where.
"Mmm sleepy." I softly say and I hear a tiny ‘aww’.
"Here are you headphones. Get some rest then in a bit you can have some food yeah?" I hum in response and face the other way so I could fall asleep.
I keep twisting and turning until I can finally get some rest.
*
"Alright welcome to New York!" A big buff guy says welcoming us in the airport. He was accompanied with 2 other big buff guys and a tiny lady.
"You must be BangChan." She smiles and gives him a hand shake.
"Yes I am and these are straykids." He smiles and we all bow saying hello.
"Nice to meet you guys. Okay, so we heard that you guys were tired so we might just do a few pictures outside and then we can head off to the hotels." She says enthusiastically, "Your schedules will be handed to you by my assistant once you guys arrive. Any questions?"
"No not really. No questions as for now. We would like to say thank you for having us and thank you for being our tour manger this time round. We appreciate it. Also as a thank you we braught you some goodies from South Korea." Chan smiles and point to the basket Changbin is holding.
"Oh thank you so much! Please I hope you guys enjoy your stay. If you guys need anything, anything at all do not hesitate to contact me through your managers yes?" Chan smiles at her and we all give her a friendly wave before walking outside to flashing lights and into our different cars.
In the evening a few of the boys came at different times checking in on me. Luckily I hadn’t thrown up or had any other panic attack. I knew they were still mad at me but they wanted to know if I was good or not.
“Why do you guys keep coming to my room if you’re mad at me?” I ask Hyunjin and Han who were the last ones to check in.
“Just because we’re mad at you doesn’t mama we want you to be sick and unhealthy. We still care.” Hyunjin tells me while handing me a cup of warm
Milk.
“True now drink up so we can go for dinner,” I give Han a small smile before drinking the warm milk.
I couldn’t help but still frown though. The unsettling feeling of guilt just lingering in my tummy.
I just wanted my scolding to get over with so that they wouldn't be mad at me anymore and when I was sent a text to go to Chan's room. I knew it was time.
I put on my slippers and quickly make my way to his room and stare at the door.
“God I beg you, let me come out of this room alive. Amen” I whisper a small prayer before knocking.
"Hey you wanted to speak with me?" Chan answers with his laptop in one hand and phone in the other.
"Come in Y/n." He says softly and I walk into his room. Slowly by slowly I notice all the boys seating in different places; on the bed, chairs and tables.
I sigh and take a sit on the chair that was put in the middle of the room obviously for me. It felt like I was in court at this point. A sigh leaves my lips as I wait for them to start.
"Y/n. What you did was the most stupidest thing I've ever seen in my life." Chan says getting serious. His tone getting harsh.
I flinch at this but continue to listen to his scolding.
“Yes Chan I’m sorry.” I softly say looking at the carpet beneath me.
"I am disappointed in you, I really am. I'm not even going to explain to you in depth how much trouble I am in with your parents and JYP. They still think that it wasn't you in that picture because we had to lie and say you were home getting your hair dyed. Your lucky people are eating this shit up." His tone was now getting more harsher.
"As for your punishment,” I take a breath I’m hoping that it would be light, “Your not allowed to go anywhere unless your with the boys. You're grounded for 3 months. All your doing is going for practice, rehearsals and schedules. No where else. Understand?" Fuck.
"Yes BangChan." I say softly playing with the rings on my fingers.
"You can't even be trusted now. All my trust in you is gone. Do you know how many phone calls I've gotten?" I keep quiet. "Answer me, I'm talking to you."
"No Chan I don't" I reply.
"Exactly, so I hope you'll learn your lesson the hard way. Also whoever that little boy is, I never wanna see you with them until your dating contract is over understand? Fuck it I don’t want to see you with any boy at all whether they’re your friends or your bestfriends."
"Yes bangchan."
"Do any of you guys have anything to say?" He looks around the room to the rest of the boys who were giving me very stern looks.
"I hope you really learn your lesson love. We're only doing this because you're still young. You won't get it."
"Yes Hyunjin,"
"Okay now you can go on into your room." Chan says dismissing me.
I slowly get up and walk out of the room and into mine.
Atleast the scolding was over with and I wasn’t thrown out a window. Atleast now they won’t be angry at me.
My knees buckle as I make it into the dark bedroom but I'm able to stay steady. I walk and lay on the bed and scroll through my twitter reading the comments.
I find my self spiraling. The world spinning once again due to the mean comments and threats. I didn’t know why was doing this to myself, why was I reading such hateful things? I need a breather. Some fresh air. Without thinking, I drop my phone on my bed and grab my shoes.
I walk to the hotels stair case and start walking up the stairs.
When I get to the rooftop I sit down and take in the view. It was peaceful and quiet. No one was up there which made it even better.
I wipe my tears that I hadn’t noticed had fallen and start to calm down. Just enjoying the view. Enjoying being alone and taking a short break from people. From the commotion.
It felt like 30 minutes and when I come back down and walk into our corridor I see the guards standing outside us Chan is pacing up and down outside my door.
What were they doing? I question and make my way to them so I could get to my door.
"What's going on?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows.
"Y/n? Oh my God thank God." He sighs in relief. I swear I saw him tear a little too.
"What happened?" I asked everyone.
“It’s okay I found her, thank you though. I don’t know where she was but I’m about to find out. Yeah okay bye.” Chan hands up the phone and looks up at me, "Where did you go Y/n? I told you not to go anywhere without the boys!" He exclaims.
"Chan I just went upstairs to the rooftop. Is that wrong?" I ask him confused than before.
"You were just on the rooftop?" He asks unsure to believe what I’m saying.
"Yes I was. You can check the cameras if you don't believe me." I shrug and pull out my room keys.
"Then why weren't you picking up your phone? You scared me! I thought you runaway!" Hyunjin steps In.
"I left it inside because of all the hateful notifications I was getting," I sigh and look up at the boys.
"Hate notifications?" I.N asks confused.
"Yeah the hate is getting really bad, so I decided to go for a breather. No big deal. I didn't know I wasn't allowed to go anywhere in the hotel premises-"
"No no your allowed, I- I just started freaking out thinking you had run away or something. Go on into your room we'll be there in a bit." I shrug and watch him turn the guards who looked like they had seen a ghost.
Knowing the boys well, they probably had threatened them and cursed every living thing in their life time which I found kind of funny because of how Overprotective they were.
I enter my room and start dressing up for bed and removing my makeup.
When the door opens and closes and a few of the boys walk in. (Felix, Han and Chan) I look up at them confused.
"Would you maybe like to go bawling?" Han says softly.
"But isn't it late and I'm grounded-"
"We'll your grounded starting when we get to Korea. Right now we're in New York. Let's have some fun. My treat." Chan smiles and sits on my bed.
I knew they felt bad and I knew they didn't want me to be alone in the room to fight my thoughts.
"Come on it's a good distraction and we can grab some street food!" Felix chimes and rubs my shoulders.
"Okay fine I'll get dressed." I sigh tired.
"Unless you wanna stay in and watch a movie?" Han says looking at me worried.
"No no no, we can go I'm just a little tired."
"Oh then we're definitely staying in and watching a movie." Chan stands up from my bed and grabs his phone.
"We'll order in a lot of food and then go to sleeep yeah? I'll text the boys."
"Okay that's sounds relaxing."
"Yes it does AND we can finish of that game we couldn't last time."
"Yeah we can."
*
The food was really good and after so many questions about whether I wanted to throw up or not had passed, we were able to all lay in Chan's bed piling on top of eachother.
"I love you Y/nie" I.N says out of the blue and starts to poke my side.
"I love you more than he loves you," Felix jumps in.
"No I do!" Hyunjin says.
"Okay okay I get the point! I love you guys too. I geuss." I tease and they all chuckle.
"We hope your no longer sad about us scolding you, we really do mean well love,"
"I know I know, it's okay I deserved it. I'm sorry for being a handful."
"You're not a handful really, just a growing baby."
"Guys I'm 18, oh my God stop calling me a baby!!" I bury my face into the blankets and they all start laughing.
My little family.

maybe you could do one when seungmin still has his braces on and is supposed to get them off but when he goes to the dentist they tell him he has to have it on for longer and he gets upset and his members try to cheer him up in different ways and then they eventually tickle him or like Changbin or Chan corner him in his room and tickle him tell he admits that his smile is cute and will stop covering it to
Thank you for the request!! 🤗💖🩷💞 So I fused this with another idea I had in mind, I hope that's okay🩷
I love this idea so much cuz Seungmin was simply adorable with braces and I'll never understand anyone who disagrees 🥰🥺
Braces
Lee: Seungmin Lers: Jeongin, Felix, Chan, Minho Word Count: 3k!!
A/N: Sorry anon, ik this took some time. This is a little plot heavy🤭Hope you enjoy ~~🤗🩷
A part of Seungmin expected it when his dentist told him that he’d have to keep his braces in for a few more weeks. Their hectic schedules had forced him to push back a number of appointments and that seemed to have taken its toll.
He sighed for the umpteenth time after returning to the dorm, staring balefully at his reflection on his phone. It was as though he couldn’t escape this hell. He hated how his smile looked with them on, even though many stays and his bandmates had made it a point to remind him otherwise.
The hate comments he got threw any and all compliments to the wind and he’d recently been avoiding even looking at himself in the mirror. It was just too much. As he lay on his bed, absentmindedly fiddling with the device in his hands, Jeongin and Felix knocked and entered.
They were armed with handfuls of snacks and sweets and all of the foods the puppy had mentioned he was craving all week. The two dumped it on the bed, climbing on to cuddle the puppy. “Is everything okay hyung?” Innie asked quietly, face nuzzled into Minnie’s shoulder. The puppy hummed, wrapping his arms around the two cuties.
“Want a snack, Minnie?” The chick offered him a packet of gummy worms, dangling one right in his face with a goofy grin. Seungmin accepted it with a smile that didn’t reach his eyes, chewing quietly. Well, that was a bust. The pup looked lost in thought, a frown creasing his handsome features.
Felix who was hugging him like a koala, leaned in to whisper in the pup’s ear. “A buff birdy told me you were upset cause the doc said you’ll have to wait to get your braces removed.” Jeongin gasped. ”Is that true hyungie? But you look so cute like this!”
Seungmin sighed again, killing Changbin would have to wait for later. He had whined to his hyung the entire ride back to the dorm and Bin had snitched. “Minnie? Do you hate your smile?” The sudden question had Seungmin staring blankly at Felix. “Why do you think that Lix?” He asked, deliberately trying to ignore the pang in his heart.
The blonde fished his phone out of his pocket, eventually turning the screen towards the puppy. The two carefully watched his expression souring when the video played. It was a compilation of all the moments where Seungmin would find some way to cover the lower half of his face using plushies, his hands or sweater paws.
Felix’s eyes were starting to get teary. How had they missed it for so long? Seungmin hastily patted his head, trying to come up with an excuse to convince the older that ‘it wasn't so bad’.
“It's not like that guys. I just- it just happened. It's not like- what stays are saying is true after all…” He trailed off in a small voice. "Those people are not stays hyung!" Jeongin said fiercely, gently cupping Seungmin's face. Felix almost cried then, but deciding to save the waterworks for later he yelled, “Chan hyung! Minho hyung!” Seungmin jumped in place at the sheer volume, eyes snapping to Lixie's in alarm.
In the next moment, the puppy found himself completely immobile. Jeongin was holding onto his wrists as if his life depended on it, while Felix leveraged his entire body weight to keep Seungmin pinned beneath him.
He shook his head, trying to free his hands and push the other off him to escape. He knew he wouldn't be able to run once Chan came in. With renewed strength, he ripped his hands free from Innie, mumbling apologies to the younger as he focused on Felix. Minnie had just managed to wrestle a very clingy chick off him, bolting through the door, running straight into the leader with a curious kitten right behind him.
“Shit!” He cursed silently, fighting the kangaroo, only to end up thrown over his shoulder in mere seconds, Minho slapping his butt as punishment.
Chan laid him down on the bed, keeping a tight grip around Seungmin’s waist as he and Minho watched the video on Felix’s phone. He understood the problem immediately.
Minho was already taking off Minnie’s socks, always ready for a nice, long wrecking. He sighed exasperatedly. “It's true hyung, you guys can just be honest with me. I know my smile doesn’t look as nice as everyone else’s.” He sounded so defeated, tears pricking at the corners of his eyes at the admission.
Chan’s expression was stormy, eyes narrowed and lips in a tight line. “I see. So that’s how you’ve seen yourself this whole time. I guess we’ll just have to convince you really well then hm.” His voice was deep and a little angry.
The puppy seemed to have taken that anger the wrong way, however, suddenly bursting into tears, face twisting as he sobbed. The four looked at him in surprise and Chan quickly gathered the sobbing boy into his arms and held him tight. “Hey, hey, hey. Baby I’m not mad at you. I promise I’m not, love. I’m mad at the people who put all that nonsense in your pretty head.”
They stayed like that a while, Felix leaving the room for a little and coming back with a small pouch in his hand. Minho grinned wide when he saw it, cracking his knuckles. “Hyung why don’t we show Seungminie how beautiful his smile looks?” Chan smirked back at him over Minnie’s shoulder, gently laying him back down on the bed and moving the pup’s hands to lay above his head.
Now, Seungmin was smart. He had known exactly what the four were planning, but unfortunately for him, they were much, much stronger. His hands were soon bound to the headboard by an eager Felix, any struggles and protests useless. His t-shirt was pushed up and Minho straddled his thighs. Grabbing a bottle of oil from Felix’s pouch he poured a generous amount right into Seungmin’s naval.
Chan just sat back and watched for now, grinning at the pup when he gave him his best puppy eyes. The leader shook his head firmly at him. If that was really the way Seungmin had seen himself this entire time, then they needed to show him that it wasn’t true. It was heartbreaking to see one of their maknaes being so insecure about such a beautiful part of themselves.
“Ugh this is so stupid.” He rolled his eyes at the scoffs it earned him. “Let me go!”
“Did you think we were just playing around here baby?” Minho asked quietly. “This isn’t a joke love. Don’t worry, though, you’ll love your smile soon enough.”
The puppy bit his lips, trying his best to muffle his sounds when the mischievous kitten dipped his pinky into his belly button, then spread the oil all over his exposed tummy with his nails, making it tickle so much! Felix and Jeongin sat on either side of his head, their sly grins promising nothing good. The maknae got ahold of his elbows, pressing them down on the bed so that the puppy was helpless to Lixie’s plan.
As Innie held his hands, he rubbed soothing circles on the inner side of Minnie's forearm. Even that felt ticklish to the sensitive pup and he tried wiggling away, much to the amusement of the fox. “What’s wrong Seungmin hyung? Does even this tickle you?” Seungmin’s flustered expression had him surprised. “Does this even count as tickling? I’m barely touching you!”
“Shut up! Thihis isn’t fahahair!! Ir’s fohour against one!” “Aww babes, all is fair in love and war. And we love you sooo much, so that means we get to tickle you just as much!” Came Lixie’s sassy answer, his fingers starting to circle around the puppy’s underarms.
When the actual torment began, Seungmin tried his hardest to slide down the bed but the restraints and Jeongin’s hands held him securely. All his struggles seemed to do was make his shirt ride up higher, exposing more skin that Minho happily took advantage of. The oil had the kitten’s fingers skating over the swells and sinks of the younger’s sensitive torso.
“Shihihihit! Ahahahahahah.” He tried to take it at first, squirming lightly and simply letting the slow, scratchy fingers reduce him into childish giggles.
But the longer it drew on for, the more sensitive he felt and he wiggled weakly, his body to having lost all strength, pleas falling along freely through his melodious laughter. “Hehehehe hyu-hyuhung, Minho hyung plehehease chanhange chahahhange spahohots!! It tihihickles sohoho bahahad!!”
Minho took pity on him and let up on Minnie's belly, keeping in mind to revisit that spot in a bit. A hand ghosted over his now bare waist, Seungmin's breath hitching in anticipation. “Hehehehehehe nohohoo,” he pleaded sweetly, eyes forming little crescents with how wide his smile was.
“Hehehe yehes!” Minho mocked, spreading the oil around before pressing the pads of his fingers into the soft skin. The puppy’s body jolted, back arching only to come crashing down when the evil kitten vibrated his fingers, laughing diabolically. Witho
At Chan’s suggestion, they paused for a break. Despite having just started, Seungmin seemed to need some time to adjust. The leader waited till his breath steadied, then brought his hands up to hover over the puppy. He air tickled him for a while, teasing the poor lee when he flinched and yelped and shrieked even though Chan hadn’t laid a finger on him. Then he dived in. Just him as the others rested their hands. The leader was relentless, changing spots so fast Seungmin’s tickle-fried brain couldn’t keep up.
The puppy desperately kicked out his legs, accidentally tangling them in the blankets and making finding himself even more immobile. Jeongin snickered at him, reaching over to rain pokes at any bit of his hyung that he could reach. “Channie hyung! Chahahannihihie hyhuhung…”
“Oh, it’s Channie hyung now, is it?” The leader teased, amusedly.
Then Felix joined in, tickling his tummy as he collected some oil, dipping a wriggling finger into his navel and swirling around until he was satisfied with the pup’s reaction, then he would smooth the oil over his pits and slowly scratch at the skin. “Lihihix, Lihihihix please ohoho my GAHAHAD!”
And Seungmin wasn’t sure if it was the oil or the fact that he could barely budge or both but it tickled a hundred times worse, bringing him to want to surrender but he held back. His armpits were usually a bad spot but it felt much worse now when Innie kept him immobile, no matter how much he struggled.
Minnie’s eyes squeezed shut from how much it tickled, uncontrollable giggles slipping easily from his lips, braces in full visibility. No matter which way he twisted or how hard he tugged at his bound hands, he was completely and truly helpless.
They slowed down, allowing the puppy to breathe through his soft airy laughter. Eventually, they paused to give the puppy a break, removing the restraints on his hands, giggling and pulling him back when he tried to crawl away.
“Nuh uh, you aren’t going anywhere till we’re done with you pup.” Chan patted him on the head. “Yeah, we still have part 2 to complete after all!” Everyone looked at Minho in surprise.
“What’s part 2 hyung?” Jeongin asked curiously. “We’re going to have Seungminie, here see just how pretty his smile is and then he’ll finally admit that his smile is the prettiest in the world! Right Minnie?” He turned towards a dumbfounded pup, “You’ll be good and say it for us, right?”
At the lack of response, Minho sent a quick scribble to Minnie’s side. “W-what? No it’s not, hyung!” A round of sighs filled the space. “Get him!” And then it was chaos once more. But now poor Seungmin was weakened from the previous torture.
For the finale, his hands were yanked behind him by Innie and his body was maneuvered to sit facing the tall mirror that sat by the side of his bed, his feet dangling off the side of the bed and back resting on Innie’s chest.
He stared at his wrecked appearance. His hair was a complete mess, clothes ruffled and his face was so red. He looked away with a shuddering breath. The half-smile he’d had when Innie had restrained him fell right off his face.
But then Felix’s fingers wormed their way into his ribs and he was cackling, trying to lean away but the maknae had a death grip on him. He could only within the space of the mirror. The pup caught fleeting glances at the bright smile on his face. He looked happy!
“Hehehehehe ihihit tihihickles~” It made him feel warm inside that his bandmates were so worried about him and that they were adamant enough to be firm in this. They knew Seungmin always pretended to hate the affection. He was truly grateful to have them in his life.
Then Chan and Minho joined and every thought Seungmin had had in his head vanished. There was a devious smile playing on Chan’s lips. The three lers watched as he sat on the floor and caught Seungmin’s flailing legs.
The puppy was still too incapacitated to notice, laughing and shrieking his little head off as the others kept up their attacks. Then the fourth pair of hands joined in and he went ballistic. Blunt nails dragged over his bare soles, courtesy of Minho, scribbling over his arches and scratching at the balls of his feet. “FAHAHAHAHAHAHA…” He couldn’t even form a coherent sentence, laughter quickly cutting off.
With the way Jeongin held him, Seungmin was forced to watch himself laughing his head off as the trio absolutely wrecked him. Finally unable to look at the braces that seemed to glare at him through his reflection, he did the only thing he could.
Cackling and squirming, he turned his face to the side but immediately felt gentle hands holding his chin and tilting his head in the direction of the mirror again. “Uh uh, this isn’t gonna stop until you really look at yourself and admit the truth.”
“Youhuhu guhuhuys SUCK!!” The puppy was insanely flustered. It had been a while since he’s really looked at his face without any makeup on, his bangs shading his eyes and cheeks pink in embarrassment. but the puppy (not so) secretly loved the attention.
His face burned, hair disheveled, tear tracks shining over red cheeks as he writhed in their hold and begged. His smile was so wide, braces in full view and anyone could see how absolutely precious the sight was. And Seungmin couldn’t think of anything to say. For the first time in forever his mind was silent and his voice was loud. He laughed and laughed and laughed so joyously.
“Say it Seungminnie~ Unless you want this to go on?” Minho taunted him, a maniacal smile playing on his lips.
Seungmin hesitated, not wanting to admit such a thing but the longer he stalled, the more unbearable everything felt. And when Felix plunged his small index finger into his navel, Seungmin gave in. “Okahahay okahay, STHAHAHAHAAHAAHAHA. PLEASE.”
Jeongin released Seungmin’s hands, the pup’s arms clamping to his sides immediately. Innie started tickling his shoulders and collarbones, dragging longish nails up and down his back and watching as the puppy threw his head back and squirmed, the sweetest of giggles spilling from his lips like honey. His wide smile showed of his braces and everyone in the room couldn’t help but coo at the adorable sight.
“Ihihihinie ihihihit soho bahahahahahad!!” “Aww, is hyungie too ticklish for this?”
Their fingers maneuvered expertly to have him in tears. His limbs felt like jelly, and despite not being pinned any longer, he could still do nothing. There was no strength behind his hands as they pushed and pulled at the hands running all over his body. “HEHEHEHEHE...”
“Do you still hate your smile? Do you? Hm, do you?” Minho kept asking him, partly to annoy the puppy. Minnie shook his head, crying out, “No! No, I don’t, I dohoHOHON’T AHAHAHAHAHA…” “Then say it, admit that your smile is the prettiest in the whole world.”
Fingers skittered up his legs and all his resolve crumbled. “What about riiiiiight here?” Minho asked, fingers squeezing Minnie's thighs now. “NOAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.” Seungmin's entire body jolted and with a strangled yelp, he dissolved further into helpless laughter. It's was bad. It was bad. It was SO BAD!!
It was all too much, the tickles driving every stray thought from his mind and finally the puppy gave in, “Okay OKAHAHAHAY MY SMILE IS THE PREHIHITTIEST, EHEHENAHOUGH, AHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHA.” His words turned incoherent, Seungmin now left howling in laughter, feeling like he was truly going insane.
It quickly went silent when Chan moved to plant a few parting raspberries to his sides before letting up. The rest following suit before they actually killed their cute puppy, giggling at the mess the boy was.
“I hate you guhuys, you’re so mean! Seungmin whined, scratching over the tingly spots all over his body. “Aww you don’t mean that, didn’t our sweet puppy have fun too?” Chan chirped in a baby voice, moving to nuzzle fondly at the pup’s belly, only to pull away with a laugh when the puppy yelped and scrambled away. “I’m not gonna tickle you again…for now.” He assured the red-faced boy. They gave him some water and Felix went to run a warm bath for him to relax in. It was pretty late after all.
While the tired boy enjoyed his bath, the four collected all the scattered snacks off of the floor and arranged his bed. They chose a movie and waited for the puppy to come out. As soon as the pup was out, the two oldest members wrapped Seungmin up in a cozy blanket burrito, Innie carding his hands soothingly through his hair.
Seungmin kicked out in annoyance when they started rocking him like a baby. A warning poke to his sides, however, had him surrendering to the aftercare. They pampered the puppy, eating the snacks and laughing and chattering on as the movie played in the background.
And they were rest assured that the next time Seungmin went for an appointment, he would feel confident about his beautiful smile, braces or not.
I'm starting to think I should write more stories where Seungmin just sits back and takes it...honestly that would be more in character for him 🥰💞
Please let me know if there are any mistakes, I didn't have a chance to proofread this well🥺😣

Yours Truly
This is part 11 to my Skz poly fic. I'm glad you guys seem to enjoy it these have been kinda soothing writing. This one's kinda short but I promise next chapter will be longer.
Previous<<<<< Next>>>>>
Warnings: mentions of sex, doesn't go in description though
It had been 4 days since that date. You were kinda surprised and upset that you hadn't gotten a text or a call from any of the boys. Maybe you should've texted? Well that's what you were doing now.
You only had 2 of their numbers. Felix and Changbins. You decided to text Changbin knowing he'd probably text back sooner or at least you had hoped he would.
'Hey Bin I was wondering if you wouldn't mind making a chat with all of the boys?'
You watch as you look back at your computer screen. You were elbow deep in notes and typing up papers for work. You weren't even at the office though. You had gotten an email from your boss letting you know that the office was still closed and it probably would be for a while longer.
You didn't mind though. You didn't hate the work but you hated the people. They were all stuck up thinking they were too good and talking behind each other's backs. If the money wasn't good you'd probably quit. It was such a toxic working environment.
Your phone lights up.
'Of course I don't mind.' Changbin texts back.
His text brought a smile to your face. Within seconds you get texts from all 8 boys.
'Hi Y/N it's Chan' one text says.
'Im sure you already know who I am 💋' you chuckle of course you knew who it was.
'No she doesn't all she knows is that you sent a kissing emoji Ji' You laugh at that knowing it was Felix. Of course it was Felix who had always joked with Jisung.
'Don't be stupid already you two I'm Hyunjin' the text says.
'We'll come in Seungmins room right now' Felix texts and you laugh.
'I wish you guys would' Hyunjin texts back.
'Do not come in my room' a text says from who you assume is Seungmin.
'Dont test us' Jisung texts.
'You guys won't' Hyunjin texts back then there's no reply from either of them.
Instead there's another text. 'See now this is why I lock my room door 😑' Seungmin says and you laugh.
'Ignoring our 3 ridiculous boyfriends I'm Minho' a text says.
'It's Jeongin, I.n. or Innie whichever you'd like to call me' Jeongin says and you smile at his words remembering how the boys had called him Innie when you first met.
'Hi Innie' you text back.
'Hi Y/N' Jeongin says back.
'You already have my number but it's Changbin.'
'Well I'm sure you guys all know who I am then' you text in the group chat.
'Of course we do' Chan texts back.
'Hows work going' Jisung who is now back asks you.
'Its been taking up most of my time even though I'm not at the office and probably won't be for a while' you text back.
'Oh why aren't you at the office' Minho asks.
'They're adding a new floor which will probably end up taking a month or so' you text back.
'Well if you're not busy tomorrow could you stop by and help me redye my hair blonde the roots are starting to show and I hate the uneven colors' Felix texts.
'Why not me again' Changbin asks.
'As much as I love and cherish you and would do literally anything for you I'm not letting you help me again you almost had my hair fall out' Felix texts and you laugh.
'I literally read the directions' Changbin says.
'You read the directions but didn't set a timer after 30 minutes I asked you how much longer you said like 10 minutes then after the 10 I asked you again and you said a little bit longer it was almost an hour before I washed out the hair dye and I was terrified my hair was going to fall out 😭' Felix says.
'That's fair' Changbin says and you laugh.
'So will you Y/N please 🥺' Felix asks you.
'I'll try my best to get all my work done for tomorrow done today and then head over there and help you tomorrow 😊' You reply back.
'Thank you so much!' Felix says and it makes you smile.
'Of course' you text.
'Since you're coming over tomorrow why don't you help me cut the ends of my hair' Jisung says.
'Dont you guys have hairdressers?' you ask.
'Yeah but they're not you' Jisung says and it makes you smile.
'Okay I'll come help you but I'm reminding you Ji I'm not a hairdresser' You say to him.
'Don't be upset when your bald tomorrow Ji' Hyunjin texts and you laugh.
'Im not that bad' you say.
'Hey if I'm bald tomorrow at least I'll be bald and happy knowing Y/N cut it' Jisung says and you laugh.
'Ji I love you and I'd do anything for you but if you go bald you won't ever see me again' Hyunjin says.
'So you love me for my hair is what I'm hearing' Jisung texts.
'Please do not make Jisung bald' Minho says.
'I wasn't planning on it😂' You text.
'I'd be upset bc I like pulling his hair during sex' Hyunjin says and your surprised by that text but quickly realize it was Hyunjin and Jisung asking you and teasing you about Felix so you weren't as surprised.
'Really Hyunjin? Now was the time to text that' Chan texts.
'Now or never and it's true so what's the problem' Hyunjin texts.
'Well I'm not making Jisung bald so you'll still be able to pull his hair' You text.
'See Y/N gets what I'm saying are you a hair puller too?' Hyunjin asks. You laugh.
'You don't have to answer that' Seungmin texts.
'I don't mind but to answer your question it depends on the person' You texts back.
No one texts back for a second. Maybe you shouldn't have answered that.
'You're driving me crazy' Hyunjin texts back.
'You're not the only one' Jisung texts.
'You have no idea the effect you have on us do you' Minho texts.
You're surprised by all those texts and look away from your phone for a moment trying to calm yourself.
Another buzz brings you back to reality.
'Stop being horny we need Y/N to finish her work so she can can come over tomorrow' Felix texts.
'Don't pretend you weren't affected by it Lix' Hyunjin texts.
'Like I said let's let her finish her work'
'Fine' Hyunjin says.
'Bye Y/N!!!' Jisung texts.
'Bye Y/N see you tomorrow' Felix texts.
'See you tomorrow' Hyunjin texts.
'Bye Y/N have a good night' Chan texts.
'Hopefully if I'm not busy with work I'll see you tomorrow' Minho texts.
'I'll see you tomorrow Y/N' Jeongin texts.
'We'll see you tomorrow' Seungmin texts.
'Sorry for the craziness we'll talk tomorrow' Changbin texts.
'Bye you guys I'll see hopefully all of you tomorrow' You text back.
With that you turn off your phone going back to your computer. You really needed to finish all your work for tomorrow so you could go over there.
You didn't realize how much you loved seeing the boys and how much you missed talking to them. They all had their unique personalities and you loved that.
You needed to finish this work so you could see them so you push them from your thoughts for now typing again on your computer.

Seo Changbin x fem!oc
Tags: Gang!AU, TattooArtist!OC x GangMember!Changbin, smut, violence, drugs, swearing, death, characters are not morally good people
Minji didn’t expect much from sleeping with the hot muscle at her local bar. She left first, after all.
Changbin knows her face. She’s a regular of the bar that Hyunjin runs, loves a strong drink, and has some truly beautiful tattoos.
It should’ve been a one-time thing. That was until Minji inadvertently got herself caught in the middle of a gang war by somehow pissing off the wrong person.
| MASTERLIST
She smiled softly at the bartender as she took her normal seat at the bar farthest from the entrance. The Scarlet Lagoon was a hidden gem in Seoul, and since its opening a year ago, she had been a frequent customer.
"A Boulevardier?" The bartender said, with a knowing look in her eyes.
"Yes."
Flicking her hair over her bare shoulders, she gently played with the coaster on the polished wooden bar.
"Your drink."
The woman took the drink from the bartender with a smile, taking a sip of the drink. Across the room, a dark-haired well-built man was eying the woman.
He knew her face. She was a regular here ever since it had opened, always ordered a Boulevardier, always sat at the same spot at the second bar, and was positively stunning. Her long black hair had blonde streaks going through the underside and was left down, covering a part of the backless aspect of the gold minidress she wore. The dress left her arms, back and most of her chest bare, and just barely passed her ass. The bareness left the beautiful ink covering her skin visible, and if he got closer he knew he'd be able to see the ink across her stomach and hips somewhat hidden by the not-quite-opaque dress.
"Are you going to keep staring at her for another night or what, Bin?"
"Shut it Seungmin."
"Yeah but are, cause if not Hyunjin might make a move."
Changbin eyed his other friend, who was chatting up one of the bartenders but keeping his eyes on the tattooed woman.
Downing the rest of his whiskey, he left Seungmin at their table and made his way over to the woman.
She saw him approaching, how could she not? She recognized him, having seen him in the bar multiple times, always at that same time with a specific group of guys. No one else sat at the table beside the six or seven men that included the one approaching him. He was the same height as her, but incredibly muscular and easily one of the most attractive men she had ever seen. He was dressed simply but well, in a crisp black dress shirt rolled up to the elbows with the first two buttons undone, and pressed black slacks.
"Alone?" Was the first word out of his mouth.
She bit back her grin slightly, tipping her drink at him. "Yes, you are not though."
"Correct. I just happened to notice that you never come here with anyone. Bit strange to always drink alone?"
"Monitoring my drinking habits are you?" She teased.
"Not like that-"
"I'm jesting."
He grinned, and she gestured to the seat next to her with her heeled foot.
"Just wanted to introduce myself, one regular to another."
"Well, pleased to make your accomplice." She smiled, "Are you going to give me your name?"
"Changbin. And you?"
"Minji."
There were not too many words after that, just looks and stray touches. He waited for her to finish her drink, before leading her to a stairwell and taking her up to a few floors. When he finally tugged her into a room and closed the door behind him, she pushed forward and attached her lips to his.
His hands were quick to grasp her waist, the warmth of his hands contrasting the cold metal of her dress and the lack of warmth coming from her exposed skin. Her hands wandered across the expanse of his chest and across his shoulders, as her lips coaxed him in further. One hand slip up her exposed back to splay out against her spin, as the other hand squeezed her waist.
Without much thought, he walked backwards toward the bed. Her dress rid up to her hips as she straddled his beefy thighs.
"No underwear?" He breathed against her lips, as he felt up her bare ass. "How convenient."
"You expect me to wear underwear with a dress that's partially see-through? That's almost more revealing."
She punctuated her words with a swift roll of her hips against his pants, grinning in delight as she felt his cock harden beneath her.
"Vixen."
"You seem to enjoy it."
He chuckled, pulling her into a searing kiss and squeezing her thighs. It was her turn to be cocky as she whimpered against him, one of her hands slipping into his shirt to feel the bare skin. She continued to enjoy his lips as her hands made swift work of his shirt, humming in satisfaction as she opened the shirt fully, her hands immediately going to his abs.
Her hips continued to swirl patterns on his lap, making him almost delirious with lust. He groaned, lips leaving hers to attach themselves to her jaw, kissing down her neck. She moaned as he left sloppy kisses against her collarbone, having no doubt that it would leave a mark after they were done.
She gripped onto shoulders, nails digging into the skin as one of his hands dipped in between her thighs, a sneaky finger swiping through her folds.
"You're so fucking wet." Changbin groaned as she rolled her hips against his hand.
"More~" She groaned, thighs clenching around his own.
"So demanding..." Changbin teased before nipping at her shoulder. "But of course."
A stream of whimpers left her mouth as the combined sensations of his thumb on her clit and the finger inside her curled against her soft walls.
"Close, baby~?" He hummed, pressing a kiss in between her breasts.
She hummed, "Yes~"
"Cum for me." He whispered right in her ear, sending her over the edge.
She gushed all over his fingers, letting out the prettiest of whimpers and moans in response as his fingers continued to move in and against her.
He retracted his fingers from within her, grinning at the whimper she let out.
She grabbed him by the back of the neck into another searing kiss.
"Are you clean?" She asked, "Sorry, I should've asked earlier."
"I am. Are you?"
"Yes. I'm also on the pill." She said, "You good to continue?"
His flirty smirk returned, "Always."
She laughed, reaching down and very carefully pulling her dress over her head, making sure it didn't snag in her hair. She carefully let the very expensive dress fall to the floor, giving him a full look at her body.
There was a wordless rush to remove the rest of their clothing, his pants and shoes forming a pile while her heels and nipple covers joined the ground next to her dress.
"Your tattoos are beautiful." He murmured as he hovered above her, a finger tracing the outline of the massive dragon covering the entire left side of her torso and down her thigh. "Know an artist?"
"I'm a tattoo artist, so yes." She hummed, fingers reaching up to trace the small tattoo of a playing card diamond on his inner bicep. "My mentor did most of them while I was apprenticing."
"That's really cool. I don't see many tattoo artists anymore in Seoul." He said, fingers wandering across other tattoos across her body. "Most have moved abroad."
"Competition does that. I've stuck around because no one has been able to edge me out." She smirked, hands wandering lower into more dangerous territory.
"Confident are you?"
"It's warranted."
"I suppose it is." He said, "But we can hold talk for another time."
One hand reached down and pulled her hands away from his cock before she could touch it, stroking himself as he stayed propped up over top of her.
"Mmm~ I agree." She said hands splayed against the sheets as her head sunk back into the plush pillows. "Go ahead."
"If you say so." He smirked, rubbing the tip of his cock against her folds.
She moaned softly, before letting out a loud whimper as he pushed in.
"Fuck." He groaned as she clenched around him. "Relax, baby."
"Shit, you're so fucking thick-" She moaned, rolling her hips up as he pushed in further. Her hands shot forward, gripping his broad shoulders as he slid in.
She had never felt so damn full in her life, and she had had more than one cock in her before. Her hips lifted up, legs wrapping around his waist and squeezing him gently.
"Jesus-" He groaned, "So fucking tight."
She whined, squeezing his shoulder. "Move, please."
He happily obliged her request, grinding his hips down into her before beginning to thrust slowly and deeply.
One hand slid up from his shoulders to the nape of his neck, gripping at the hair and pulling him down to her. He wholly accepted it as she greedily seized his lips, licking and nipping her lips.
She moaned in delight into his mouth as he suddenly picked up the pace of his thrusts, his thick cock burrowing into her deeper.
"God-"
Her head thumped back against the pillows as endless moans slipped from her lips, her hips frantically rolling up into him, chasing the building high within her.
"Fuck, if you keep moving your hips like that I'm gonna cum." He moaned, burrowing his face in his shoulder.
"Cum-" She choked on a moan, "Fucking cum in me."
"Jesus Christ-"
Their moans reached cacophonous levels as he spilled inside her, pressing into her as his hips stilled.
"Mmm~" She moaned, hips still moving. "Need-"
"I got you." He groaned, hand reaching down and skillfully playing with her clit.
It took her not but a moment later before she came all over his gradually softening cock, moaning loudly as her body screamed with pleasure. He whimpered from the overstimulation, gently pulling out of her and rolling to lay next to her.
Her breathing settled, and she looked over next to her to see the man already passed out. Wordlessly, she got out of bed and draped a blanket over him. She grabbed her clothing from the floor and stepped into the attached bathroom in the room, quickly cleaning herself and making it look like she didn't just have one of the best fucks of her life. She pursed her lips at the large Hickie on her collarbone but continued dressing herself regardless.
The walk-out to her car was a blur, the bartender giving her a knowing wink as she paid her tab, and the man at the coat check staring right at the hickie as he handed her her coat.
When she stepped into the shower of her apartment, she washed off all other signs of her escapade. God, Changbin was fine and a fantastic fuck. But she probably wouldn't see him again.
Right?

Neighbour's Fate
Summary: He was your neighbour growing up but he has always been distant. You didn't know for what reasons he chose not to mingle with you or your younger brother. It's been 6 years since you saw him. One day, you best friend asks for a favour from you that would eventually lead you to meeting his close friends. Who would've thought your old neighbour was now one of your best friend's close friends.
Theme: university au, old neighbours to lovers
Genre: fluff, a tad bit of jealousy, a little suggestive
Warning: mentions of anxiety, one or two curse words, very mild harassment (grabbing of wrist, that's all)
WC: 6.5k
Pairing: Seo Changbin x Fem!Reader
a/n: This was just a spur of the moment kind of idea I had the other day, and so this was the work I created... Hope you guys like it :)
Growing up, you lived beside the Seo family. They were a family of four and so were you. Their oldest child was a girl and her name was Seo Jiwoo. Their youngest child was a boy and his name was Seo Changbin. You were pretty close to the girl, to the point where you would always go to school together but the boy had always avoided you for unknown reasons.
He wouldn’t even play with your younger brother. It used to upset you but as you grew up, you realized that you can never force anyone to like someone or do something they didn’t want to do. And for that reason, you ended up letting him be.
However, despite not talking to you as much as his sister did, he was very attentive on small little things and he noticed that you tend to get anxiety attacks whenever you are in front of a huge crowd or the centre of attraction. And he knows this.
You had just entered senior year when you heard news from your parents that the Seo family were moving.
You were sad considering you’re already so close to Jiwoo. But you couldn’t force them to stay there anyways. You accepted the fact that you probably wouldn’t see them anytime soon, maybe not ever. You bid them goodbye, not forgetting to glance at Changbin one last time before they drove off with their boxes loaded into a van.
Two years passed since they moved and you were finally going to college.
You decided to move to Seoul alone and your parents allowed it. Your heart was heavy to leave them behind but they understood that you were doing it because you wanted to further your studies. For that, they willingly let you go.
After graduation, you enrolled yourself into a college with your favourite course, not forgetting to find an affordable apartment for yourself. And that was the start to a new chapter in your life.
4 years passed by in a flash and you had managed to further your studies by going to university. You were currently a Computer Science major in Hankuk University, together with your best friend whom you met in college and have been friends ever since. He was two years younger than you but he was pretty mature for his age, and his name is Hwang Hyunjin.
It was a bright Thursday morning and you were just strolling to your lecture class when someone swung their arm over your shoulder. Right when you were about to curse, the familiar voice warned you.
“Relax, stop being too defensive will you?”
You clicked your tongue at him, seeing him shake his head a little to get his long beautiful blonde bangs away from his eyes.
“Then announce who you are first before putting your arm around me next time, will you?” You scoffed, earning a roll of his eyes. “You’re unbelievable sometimes, you know that?” Hyunjin sighed.
“I appreciate that compliment.”
“Whatever…” Hyunjin could only laugh as the two of you continued to walk to class.
Hours went by, it was currently lunch hour. You made it to the cafeteria in time when there still weren’t many students yet. Hyunjin was walking beside you, telling you stories about his ex-girlfriend whom he caught cheating on him last month when you spotted an empty table a few rows down from you.
With that, you grabbed his shirt and began to drag him to the table before anyone else occupies it. A few minutes later, you were just munching on your smoked squid when someone came to give Hyunjin a handshake.
You looked up to see two guys whom you knew to be in Hyunjin’s dance crew team that represented the campus.
One of them had pretty freckles all over his face while the other one had a cute gummy smile with doe round eyes. They simply acknowledged you with a friendly smile and a nod before walking away.
You’ve never really met Hyunjin’s friends before properly because you were shy.
Even with those two guys, you knew they were part of Hyunjin’s close circle of friends that had other guys from other campuses but you’ve never met them before. You weren’t sure if you even wanted to, if they’re all just going to be as equally good looking as the two dancers from your campus.
A few days later, you were lounging in your living room on a Friday night watching your favourite TV show on Netflix. You were in nothing but panties and a big hoodie that you remembered to be Hyunjin’s but you stole it one night when you slept over at his place after he broke things off with his ex-girlfriend when he found her cheating on him with a friend of his but not from his circle.
You were just seated on your couch with a chocolate almond drink in your hand when you got a text from Hyunjin.
With that, he told you to pick him up at his apartment so that you could go meet his friends at the mall and discuss his plan. It sounds ridiculously dramatic to you but then again, it’s Hyunjin. Nothing’s ever not ridiculously dramatic when it comes to him.
You texted him you’ll pick him up at around 2, in which he said okay. You were scheming through your closet to see what you could wear. You didn’t want his friends to have a bad first impression on you so you opted to wear a little feminine. After rummaging your closet for a good few minutes, you ended up pulling out a baby blue off shoulder, floral print dress.
You’ve worn this out with Hyunjin before once but mostly with your girl friends. You kept your hair simple with a messy low bun, leaving your fringe to frame your face as it parts nicely in the centre.
Once it was time to pick him up, you left your apartment. Not forgetting to bring your purse along to keep your important belongings.
You wore your favourite white Nike air force 1s to pair it with your outfit.
After you’ve managed to pick him up from his apartment, he tells you which mall they promised to meet. The drive there was filled with him complaining to you saying his ex kept bothering him on kakao talk and also social media.
He said he’s had enough so he wants to get back at her to show her that he’s moved on. He told you that she invited him and his friends to her birthday party at her house next weekend.
So he wants to use this chance for his payback.
You simply listened to his plan as you focused on the road ahead of you. Once you’ve found yourself a parking space, you park your vehicle and leave.
He walked with you to the restaurant, all the while talking to you about your dreadful assignment. You arrived at the restaurant, only for a waiter to approach you two.
“Uhh, hi. My friends are here actually. Table reserved under Chan I think?” Hyunjin said as the waiter went ahead and checked the booking list, only for him to nod when his eyes met the name that was mentioned.
“Ah, yes. Right this way.” He led you deeper into the restaurant as you followed behind Hyunjin.
You were too busy focusing on the crying child across the room, not realizing you were already at the table until Hyunjin’s arms wrapped around your waist to stop you from walking. You whipped your head around to lock eyes with him as he chuckled at you for being clumsy.
Just then, you turned towards the table and you saw a whole table filled with really handsome guys. You also noticed that the two dancers from campus whom you recognized pretty well by now.
“Oh, hey!” The one with freckles said as he waved to you and so did the other one. You smiled shyly to them as you rested your right hand on your left elbow.
You schemed through the different pairs of eyes, smiling to them as a way of saying hello.
Just when you thought you were done, you didn’t notice the one who got blocked by Hyunjin’s tall and lean body. It wasn’t until Hyunjin turned around to call for the waiter, that you finally locked eyes with the individual seated at the edge of the bench.
He was absolutely breath-taking.
He was wearing a grey shirt that hugged his upper body a little too perfectly.
His muscles were in full view. His broad chest puffing out against the soft material of his shirt. The sleeves of his shirt doing the bare minimum in giving his muscular arms air to breath. His shirt tucked into his black cargo pants that had a chain attached to the belt hooks.
He wore a silver chain necklace as his accessory and a few chain bracelets as well. His hair was styled to show his forehead despite it not being slick back. However, his eyes were cold at first but the minute he looked at you, you could’ve sworn his eyes went wide for a split second before it softened.
Your smile slowly disappeared as Hyunjin spoke up to get your attention, “Noona? You okay? You look like you just saw a ghost.”
With that, he chuckled as he turned to his friends and continued talking, “Friends, this is my best friend since college, Y/N. Noona, these are my friends, Felix, Minho hyung, Seungmin, Jeongin, Jisung, Chan hyung and Changbin hyung.”
At the mention of that last name, a sudden rush of adrenaline flowed through your veins as you turned to look at the said individual. Letting his name roll off your tongue.
“Chang… bin?”
The table fell quiet as your eyes diverted from his to the plate in front of him. The boys didn’t miss the frown that soon appeared on your face.
“Do you know him?” Hyunjin asked, genuinely intrigued by your reaction.
Why is the name making your heart flutter?
Just then, you looked back into Changbin’s soft eyes only to ask, “Seo… Changbin?” You heard a few light gasps from the guys but they weren’t your main focus right now.
You watched as Changbin shifted in his seat, making him ask, “How did you know my name?”
His question made you confused.
Was he not your neighbour? Was he not the same Seo Changbin you used to grow up next to? Was he a different Seo Changbin?
This made you feel slightly embarrassed thinking you mistook him for someone else. So you apologized, “I… sorry, maybe I mistook you for someone else.” With that being said, he didn’t say anything else as Hyunjin brought you to the empty space beside Jisung and Seungmin. During lunch, Hyunjin explains what his plan was to everyone.
You listened to him as well, occasionally giving him scoffs or a click of your tongue if you felt that he might be a bit too sassy about the things he wanted to do.
After lunch was over, they wanted to walk around the mall for a bit so you followed.
You had all just entered the lift to go down to level 1 from level 6. There were a few strangers who came in as well. You were the last to enter after the boys while the other shoppers came rushing in behind you.
You had just turned around when a rowdy bunch of people pushed you in further. You were about to lose balance when you felt a firm hold on your waist. What you also felt was your upper back accidentally crashing into a firm chest. You were secretly hoping your guess was wrong but it wasn’t.
“It’s okay. I got you.” His raspy voice said quietly in your ear over the noisy lift, making you turn your head slightly.
That was your first mistake.
The minute you turned, his lips accidentally brushed against your cheek as it was now inches away from your own lips. You were caught off guard by the close proximity so you softly gasped and were going to pull away from him when you accidentally bumped into the person in front of you.
That was your second mistake.
Because the minute you slightly bumped into them, the person turned around to give you a disapproving look, making you apologize quietly as you felt the hands on your waist wrap itself around you and tugged you against him as a way to comfort you.
Changbin simply hid his smile against your hair on his left where his face was between your head and the lift walls so none of his friends saw this.
Your heart was pounding against your chest as you unconsciously rested your hands on top of his forearms. After the crowd left the lift at level 3, you could finally breathe as Changbin let go of you before his friends saw him hold you.
You went home that day feeling lost and confused.
Does that mean he knows you, that he was simply acting as if he doesn’t remember you? Why else would he act that way, unless he’s that type of guy who knows his way around girls?
As far as you remember, Hyunjin has never mentioned being friends with fuckboys and that he says that his friends were all very sweet and humble guys.
Either way, you decided not to think much of Changbin and just carry out Hyunjin’s favour and you’d call it done with being around his friends. But of course luck wasn’t on your side and that it always has it’s way of turning things around in your life. This time, it was with Hyunjin’s friends.
More specifically, Changbin.
The day finally came, you were going to be Hyunjin’s fake girlfriend for the night. You weren’t really nervous considering you don’t have any special feelings for him. You were more anxious that you will be seeing his friends tonight. And that means you’ll be seeing Changbin too.
Hyunjin came to pick you up this time, coming earlier to pick out the perfect outfit for you to wear so that his ex would feel jealous when he sees you with him.
Hyunjin ended up choosing a pink satin dress with quite a deep neckline that essentially shows your cleavage. You were against wearing it at first but Hyunjin insists on you wearing it.
“Dude, you do realise I might get guys staring at me the whole night if I wore this right?” You asked, your tone was serious as he knows how you feel about being a centre of attraction. It gives you major anxiety. With that being said, Hyunjin gave in and chose a different dress that was also satin but with a decent neck line and a thin strap to rest on your shoulders.
It hugs your figure perfectly, with the hem stopping right on your mid thighs.
Hyunjin gave you the privacy to change as he waited for you in your living room. After you were done, you came back out with your purse and heels from your shoe closet.
Hyunjin almost choked on his own spit as he scanned you from head to toe.
“Woah! You are looking hot as hell!” He praised you, earning a roll of your eyes. You slapped his chest with your purse, telling him to get up so you can both leave.
The drive to his ex’s house took about 40 minutes, filling the drive with singing your favourite songs with Hyunjin and just laughing about random things. His friends were going to meet you two there, hence the reason why you were now leaning against Hyunjin’s car door with him towering over you.
He trapped you by resting both hands on top of his car roof on either side of your body.
“So, let me make myself clear. You can hold my hand, hold my waist, kiss my cheek, wherever you want up here…” You said as you pointed from your shoulder to your face before continuing your speech, “But, not my lips.”
Hyunjin pouted as he got a gentle slap from you to his chest, making him chuckle.
“Okay, but what if she wants proof of us dating and she asks us to kiss?” He asked, making you think through your potential actions.
“Fine, only if she asks. If not, don’t even think about tricking me into kissing you.” You warned as he scoffed, telling you that you were ‘no fun’. You rolled your eyes at him but the smile on your lips betrayed you.
Right when you wanted to look away from him, instead you saw a group of guys walking up to you and Hyunjin. Only to realize it was his friends.
Your eyes just naturally travelled over to the one walking near the curb.
Changbin wore a black skinny cargo pants, a black button down formal shirt tucked in, leaving the first few buttons undone. It definitely was low enough to expose a slight amount of his chest. He accessorized with his favourite silver necklace and a chain bracelet with a watch. He had a pair of black combat boots on to go with his outfit.
His hair was styled nicely to partially show his forehead and his undercut. You would be lying if you said he didn’t look good. But you decided to keep the comment to yourself as Chan smirked at you and Hyunjin.
“Damn, you’re not even inside and you guys already started the act?” Hyunjin wriggled his eyebrows as he pushed himself off his car only to snake one arm around your waist and pulled you against his side gently.
“By the way, you look really pretty Y/N.” Chan smiled at you genuinely, making you feel shy. But nonetheless thanked him for his compliment.
The rest of them agreed to their friend’s comment as well, saying that you look good with this dress.
The 9 of you soon walked to the house as Hyunjin slid his hands into yours swiftly when you were reaching the door. However, Changbin couldn’t help but feel jealous when he saw this. Yes he knows it was all an act. Yes he knows that it was only for a day. But why did he wish that was him instead of Hyunjin?
You arrived at the house, only for Hyunjin’s ex to open the door. Her smile immediately dropped when she looked down at your locked fingers with Hyunjin.
“Hey, you guys made it… And, with a friend…” She said through her clenched teeth.
“Oh my goodness, where’s my manners? This is Y/N, my girlfriend. Baby, this is my... friend, Yuna.” Hyunjin said as he slid his arm around your waist, making you smile at the girl and proceeded to shake her hand.
She was clearly uncomfortable but she just pressed on a smile as she welcomed the 9 of you in.
The birthday party was definitely leaning more towards a party which includes alcohol and random hooking ups with strangers. But since some of them drove, they made sure not to drink, including yourself because you don’t drink alcohol.
It has been almost an hour since you reached here and there were already a whole bunch of drunk university students everywhere in this house.
You were just seated on the couch next to Hyunjin and Minho with some of the guys. The only ones who were tipsy amongst the 9 of you were Jisung, Jeongin, Felix and Seungmin. You were just leaning your head against Hyunjin’s shoulder, feeling tired from having been surrounded by drunk students when you felt the need to get a refill of your non alcoholic drink.
You rested your hand on Hyunjin’s lap to gain his attention, who was busy talking to the other four guys, as all four pairs of eyes soon turned to you. “I’m gonna get a refill. I’ll be back.” You said as you got up after receiving a nod from him.
A few minutes later, you were just walking back to where the guys were sitting when a warm hand on your waist made you jump.
You turned around to see a guy whom you didn’t recognize, smiling down at you drunkenly.
“Wanna dance, baby girl?” He slurred over his words, making you excuse yourself. But when you turned to walk, he gripped your wrist so tightly that it made you drop your cup to the floor. You winced as he began tugging you towards the stairs.
But then a firm grip around your waist made you stop walking as someone ripped his hand away from yours only to throw a solid punch to his jaw.
“Fucking touch her again and I’ll break your nose.” Hyunjin growled as the guy began to stumble away. This has caught the eyes of those around you, making your anxiety grow. You didn’t realize this but you began to shake, something you always did when your anxiety was kicking in.
You were about to panic when the soft voice behind you managed to calm you down.
“Hey? Hey, calm down. Breathe. It’s okay.” Changbin whispered in your ear. It confused you on how he seemed to know that this was due to your anxiety but your mind couldn’t properly function right now.
So when Changbin called Hyunjin and told him you were shaking, the minute he passed you over to Hyunjin who immediately hugged you, that’s when it hit you.
This Changbin knows about your anxiety.
You allowed yourself to calm down in Hyunjin’s arms as he caressed your back soothingly and it worked.
A few minutes later, you finally stopped shaking as he pulled away from you only to cup your face gently. “Are you okay?” He asked, genuinely concerned for you. All you could do was smile at him and thank him, in which he told you it was fine and that he should’ve been more alert when leaving you alone in this kind of atmosphere.
You were just walking back to where his three friends were sitting, when a familiar voice called Hyunjin’s name behind you. The pair turned around as Yuna came to a stop behind Hyunjin.
She awkwardly glanced at you before focusing back at him.
“Hey, I need to talk to you… in private?” Yuna said.
“Why? We can just speak here.” Hyunjin said.
“I want to talk about something important… it’s about… us.” She paused. Hyunjin sighed as he stared at her with nothing but lingering pain in his eyes.
“There’s nothing else to talk about Yuna. You cheated on me when I told you I loved you. Was I not enough for you?”
“I’m sorry Hyunjin… I… I wasn’t thinking. Please… can we talk in private?” She said desperately, making you glance up to him who had an obvious frown on his face. You knew he wanted to talk to her to clear things between them. But you could also see that he was already tired of her bullshit and that he wanted nothing but to move on from her.
So you opted to give them space by holding his forearm gently and told him, “I think there’s some things you guys need to settle. Go. I’ll wait with the guys.”
You flashed him and Yuna a smile as you let go of his hand, turning around to walk towards where Minho, Changbin and Chan were sitting. The three of them were already looking at your direction, seeing the situation unravel in front of their eyes.
Hyunjin was at a cross road as he wasn’t sure if he should follow his heart or mind.
After what felt like forever, he decided to follow his heart and that was to completely end ties with Yuna. With that being said, he turned back to her only to speak up.
“I’m sorry Yuna. But all of that was in the past. I’ve already moved on and you should too.” Hyunjin said as he then turned on his heels and left.
He re-joined you and the guys, where you were sitting on the arm rest beside Minho since the other end of the couch was already occupied by drunk couples. Hyunjin was just standing beside you when Yuna placed her hand on his shoulder and roughly turned him around.
“That’s it? It was just that one time. You can’t tell me you’ve moved on that fast.” She scoffed as he raised his eyebrows at her in disbelief.
“With what you did to me, it only makes sense for me to move on this fast. Besides, I’m already dating someone now. You’re too late.” Hyunjin taunts but it seems like Yuna had a different plan as she scoffed at you.
“As if. I’ve noticed you two acting quite distant when I’m not near you. Just tell me you guys are friends and leave. I don’t need fakers at my party.” Yuna said, her tone visibly angered.
Hyunjin smirks, knowing that she was just trying to bite his tail.
“What do I need to do then to prove to you that I’ve really moved on from you?”
“Kiss her. If you’re really dating her and you guys aren’t just friends, then kiss her.”
There it is.
That was probably the last thing you’d wanna hear tonight. Especially not in front of Changbin. With that being said, Hyunjin smirks as he accepted the challenge easily. Since you both agreed on this before you entered the house just now, you knew you couldn’t really say no to it.
“Oh, sure thing sweetheart.” Hyunjin said as he turned to you and immediately leaned down to kiss you on the lips, hands reaching up to cup your face.
You swiftly moved your lips against his to make it seem legit. You could feel Hyunjin’s lips curving into a smile against your lips as you heard Yuna scoff and soon stormed off. Hyunjin pulled back the minute she left, only to apologize to you.
“I’m really sorry noona…”
“It’s okay.” You smiled as Minho and Chan began to tease you two for executing the perfect kiss, saying that it looks too legit. They even mentioned saying you two looked like a nice couple.
In which you responded with a fake gag, earning a soft punch to your arm by Hyunjin himself. You giggled but you completely missed the way Changbin’s eyes were burning with jealousy from seeing you kiss Hyunjin.
He knows this was just an act but why was he so pressed by the simple kiss?
A few days later, you were in class when Hyunjin told you he was meeting his friends this weekend and asked if you wanted to join them. You weren’t sure if you wanted to but you decided to go along with it. He said they planned to watch a movie and maybe go to the pier. You nodded, agreeing to tag along since he offered you to come.
Weekend finally came and you had just left your apartment. You wore your denim skinny ripped jeans, a white cropped fitted tank top and a black oversized jacket.
Hyunjin told you he was going to pick you up so you met him at the roadside in front of your apartment building.
You both made it to the mall to queue for the movie tickets. Chan was queueing with Hyunjin so you were left with the others. You were just scrolling through your Instagram when someone fed you popcorn. You looked up to see Changbin holding two popped kernels in front of your lips. You unconsciously blushed as you opened your mouth to let him feed you.
Changbin chuckled after feeding you, only to pop some in his own mouth. You stood in between Changbin and Jeongin against the wall while Seungmin, Jisung, Felix and Minho were standing in front of you three.
They were just talking amongst themselves when you glanced over to the full bucket filled with caramel popcorn that Changbin was hugging.
He saw you looking so he took some out and held it up to your mouth.
“Ahh, it’s okay, I can take myself.” You said softly, gently pushing his hand away but instead, he said something that made your stomach churn in a good way.
“Don’t worry, I like feeding people.”
You stared at him for a second as he teasingly tapped the popcorns on your lips, making you giggle. Changbin fed you a few times, even after you’ve entered the cinema theatre. After the movie ended, all of you made your way to the pier.
Once there, you were walking past the game booths which had some very cute prizes. Just then, your eyes caught a glimpse of your favourite cartoon character as a prize for one of the booths.
It was Stitch.
You gasped as you eagerly reached out for whoever’s arm that was nearest to you, only to grab both Changbin’s and Seungmin’s forearms on either side of you before pointing to the booth with the Stitch soft toy.
“Guys look! It’s stitch! It’s so cute! Omg!” You giggled, hearing both of them chuckle as you jogged over to the booth. It was a game of shooting which you clearly weren’t good at. Just as you were pondering over the game, a familiar voice spoke up from behind you causing you to turn.
“One round please.” Changbin said as he handed the man his bill before the man gave him a loaded nerf gun.
“What are you doing?” You asked as Changbin simply smiled at you.
“Playing the game?”
“Of course I know that… but why?”
“For fun…” He smiled as he began to aim for the targets. He was getting the shots perfect so far. Barely missing any target. After a stressful close round, you watched as he won a prize. You didn’t know why but you thought he was going to choose something that was for himself.
But instead, the next thing you see was the man reaching up to grab the exact one that you’ve been eyeing all these while.
Changbin smiled as he thanked the man for the prize. But when he turned away from the man, you expected him to walk back to his friends. You didn’t expect him to give you the Stitch soft toy and then proceed to say innocently, “Take it.”
You raised your eyebrows at him softly, clearly taken aback by his offer.
“W-What?”
“It’s for you… You looked like you wanted it so bad.” Changbin chuckled as he gently took your hands and wrapped it around the toy to make you hug it.
“Changbin… thank you…” You whispered as he could only smile, guiding you back to where the guys were. The minute you came back to where some of them were, you excitedly showed off your prize.
“Jin ah! Look!” You exclaimed as Hyunjin gasped at the size of the soft toy.
“Woah! Where did you get this?”
“From that shooting booth! Isn’t he cute!”
“You won the shooting game?!” Hyunjin asked in shock, making you blush as you turned to Changbin. He had a soft smile on his face before he spoke up for you.
“I did. So I gave the prize to her.”
The guys began to tease as Changbin rolled his eyes thickly at them.
“Oh? Was that a gift to her?” Minho smirked.
“Never thought I’d see the day Seo Changbin goes out of his way to win a prize for a girl…” Jisung teased. Changbin simply brushed all their comments off as you all continued walking. You have been hugging the soft toy for the past hour wherever you went, earning soft laughs from the guys. Just then, Hyunjin wanted to take pictures at the pier.
Felix was helping to take Hyunjin’s pictures while Chan was helping to take Minho, Jisung, Seungmin and Jeongin’s picture.
You were just burying your face in the soft toy when Changbin’s voice softly spoke up from beside you, “Do you like it that much?” With that, you turned to him and a bright smile decorated your face, warming his heart even more.
“I’ve loved it since I was young! He’s so cute! Don’t you remember? I used to bring my small stuffed-” You were rambling excited until you stopped yourself when you realized what you were doing. “Oh! Sorry! Sorry… I got a little carried away there…” You apologized as you avoided his gaze but you missed the little smile growing on his face.
But what he said next made your heart stop for a split second, almost not believing your ears.
“I remember…” He whispered so softly, you could’ve missed it if you weren’t properly listening. You whipped your head around as you stared at him in shock.
“You… do?” Your voice was quiet as his eyes held the galaxy.
But your little moment gets cut when Felix calls you over to take a picture with Hyunjin who deliberately drags you away from Changbin. He could only smile as he nods at Hyunjin’s figure behind you, signalling you to just go follow him.
You frowned as you stood beside Hyunjin and proceeded to take a few memorable pictures with him. After everyone was almost done taking pictures, you didn’t want the memory to go to waste so you turned to Hyunjin and quietly asked when the rest of the guys were already walking away.
“Jinie, can you take one picture of me with Changbin?”
“Why?”
“Just for memories…” You smiled and you definitely saw the confused look on his face but nonetheless, he smiled and called the boy over. When Changbin was standing in front of you, Hyunjin told him what you wanted. Changbin looks at you and a smile creeps onto his face before he agrees to it.
You soon reached down to slide your hand in his and brought him to the edge of the pier. You stood beside him with the huge soft toy in your arms. Right when Hyunjin was just trying to find the right angle, you felt Changbin snake his arm around your waist and pulled you closer into his side.
Your heart was palpitating against your chest as he turned to you and whispered softly in your ear, “I’m sorry for being distant back then. I hope you can forgive me and we can start fresh? Properly this time?”
You turned to him, only to find his face just inches away from you. At this moment, neither of you dared to move an inch.
Just then, you heard Hyunjin’s voice counting down from 3.
You turned to Hyunjin and back to Changbin, wanting to ask what pose you two should do. But the moment you turned to Changbin, he gave you no warning whatsoever as he simply pressed his lips against yours sweetly. You closed your eyes in bliss, enjoying the feeling when you heard the click of the camera followed by Hyunjin screaming excitedly.
Changbin was the one to pull away as his lips lingered over your for a second. You struggled to look at him, feeling your cheeks burn from embarrassment. “Was that okay?” He whispered, making you nod.
“Hey! Since when are you two a thing?! And secretly behind my back too?! Pfft…” Hyunjin scoffed but his cheeky smirk didn’t go unnoticed.
“Yeah… about that, we still have a lot to clear between us…” Changbin said as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously but you helped him clear the air before Hyunjin got more confused with the situation.
“Let’s just say we have an unfinished history between us and we’re going to settle it once and for all, okay?” With that, Hyunjin nods as he wished you and Changbin good luck. The 3 of you rejoined the group, only for them to ask where you three were. Hyunjin simply said taking pictures, completely hiding the fact that he just witnessed his best friend kiss his close friend.
On the way to all your vehicles, Hyunjin asks if you wanted to ride home with Changbin instead and that he could send Jisung home. You turned to Changbin who overheard your conversation with Hyunjin.
You saw him smile as he shrugged his shoulders, so you turned to Hyunjin and felt your lips curving upwards into a soft expression, “I’d love that.”
With that, Changbin told Jisung the plan and the younger could only nod happily despite not knowing the true intentions of the car swap. After all of you had said your goodbyes, you followed Changbin to his car and he soon drove off after you told him your address.
The car ride was filled with jokes and laughter, purposely avoiding the main talks first until you got to your apartment.
You let him in, telling him to take a seat while you went to make him a drink. After you came back with his iced chocolate, you sat down with him on the couch. He took a few sips of it before he finally spoke up.
“Is it okay if we start over? I know I wasn’t the warmest when I was young… I barely socialize with you and your brother… I guess I was just too shy and a little antisocial back then.”
You smiled as you reached up to cup his face gently in your hand. “It’s okay Binie. I didn’t understand why back then but now I know.” You whispered, feeling him lean into your touch.
You didn’t know who leaned in first but the next thing you knew, you were kissing him.
On the lips.
Changbin wraps his arms around your waist as he pulls you onto his lap. Your heart was racing rapidly in your chest. He kisses you passionately, rubbing soft circles into your skin. Just then, your breath hitched in your throat when his lips left yours only to make his way down your neck.
“Changbin…” You whispered breathily, making him smirk against your skin.
You swiftly took off his shirt, pulling it over his head before doing the same for you. Changbin took a second to admire your body, seeing this much skin on you for the first time.
“Wow…” His voice soft, feeling yourself get shy all of a sudden. He chuckled as he kissed your lips to distract you.
He took his time with you, making sure he wasn’t hurting you in any way. He brought you to your room after a good amount of time on the couch. He had been so respectful of you that he would always ask for your permission to touch you anywhere. He left you wanting more.
He made sure to clean you after spending your time together before pulling you against him to cuddle. You couldn’t help but prop yourself on your elbow as you rested one hand on his bare chest, softly caressing it before sliding your hand up to cup his face.
“I’m so happy I found you again.” You whispered as he giggled. His eyes crinkled into two crescent moons that disappeared as soon as he smiled.
“I could say the same for you too.” Changbin said as he kissed you sweetly. Both of you fell into a deep slumber a few minutes later, waking up the next day feeling so warm and full in your hearts. You were happy that you met him again after all these years. Who knew you would end up with the boy whom you used to live next door to.

“Again! Minho, watch your footing, you’re tripping all over yourself.”
Seungmin threw a towel in the general direction of your sparring partner who nearly missed it flying at his head. Beads of sweat waterfalled down his forehead, and it got stuck in his scalp, turning his hair into strands.
“Getting tired?” You jested as Jeongin tightened up your gloves.
He smirked out a little, “Tired? I’m just getting started.”
“You’re losing your edge Lee Minho. I’ve knocked you down at least four times already.” Jeongin helped you by squirting water into your mouth. The cool drops felt heavenly falling down your neck.
“Distracted then?” Hyunjin whipped his disheveled blond hair into a hair tie. “Something on your mind?”
In one sweep, Minho ruffled up his own hair with the fabric of the towel “Distracted? No--”
“Listen Minho, I know that I’m not looking the most glamorous right now but you should get your head back in it, I’m barely breaking a sweat.” You shoved him a little with your gloved hand, handing out a teasing grin.
Your partner bounced a little in place, shaking out his limbs. “Alright...”
Any other day, it would have been Minho who had you stumbling down to the mat, breathless and muscles aching. It was always a mystery to you where he got his stamina from when he was in the ring with you. Outside of the ring, no one could have ever guessed that boxing was his pastime--the giveaway was his knuckles: they were nearly always bruised.
You had met Minho and the rest of your friends nearly a year ago when you joined the gym, just looking for something new to try. Seeing as you and Minho were nearly the same size, it made sense for the two of you to be partners. Even though he was quiet around you, he would always put up a fight. Beating him for once was exciting. When you were the one standing, it felt good, admittedly. The little rush to your head when his body hit the floor was too exciting to ignore. You could really get used to the way that he would stare back up at you, lip quivering just slightly and his abs seizing under his shirt. It was cute almost, you had thought, when you saw the way that his expression would soften underneath you.
Jeongin waved you over to strap your head gear back on with a tiny cringe. “As your friend, I’m gonna tell you that you stink...rather than not saying anything about it.”
Your gloved hand mimed a punch to his face. “Thanks for the info. I’m hitting the showers after this.”
The rest of your little group gathered near to the edge of the ring, towel drying themselves of their own sweat and shadow boxing the air around their fists.
“I’ve been watching from over there...damn Y/n…” Changbin sauntered up, throwing his jump rope over his shoulder. “You’re really improving.”
“I had a good teacher, handsome.” You clicked out a little salute to him.
“Ahhh, stop flattering me.”
“Let’s start.” Minho butted in while he popped in his mouth guard.
“Hands up!” Seungmin called.
The burning of your hamstrings had told you that you were nearing your limit for the day, but nothing felt better than chasing your victory over him once more. In his eyes, he held a darker kind of confidence this time: it clouded his eyes which narrowed. When he would focus, Minho seemed to inspect every single part of your body like he was planning exactly where he wanted to hit first. His eyes would dance around your frame for just a few seconds, then he would know your first move.
Want me to go easy on you this time? You jested under the plastic of your mouth guard.
His right fist hooked directly at you before you had registered it, colliding right with the foam of your headgear. He had hit you with such a force that it felt as if he had shook your eyes, blurring your vision.
“Hands!” Changbin growled from the sidelines, and you did as you were told.
In a couple ways, boxing was like dancing, except you were trying not to get all wrapped up in your partner’s arms. The goal was to prevent him from touching you, so your feet would bounce and skip around him in circles, never letting his steps dominate you. With every twist of your bodies, they would interact with the other, it was all give and take. Perhaps like dancing, the tension between you was tangible, but instead of harmony, there was a dissonance.
Minho swung at you to your right, and you bobbed your head in response. As you chased him back, the plastic blue under your feet would crinkle. Your hands never left the cover of your face only until the few milliseconds when you would make a swing of your own. Had he bopped a second too late, you would have given him proper payback for how hard he had punched at your face.
Seungmin barked out more combos for the two of you to battle in attempting first. It really was like the perfect dance: every time that one of you would swing, the other would float around it.
“Get a hit in! Quit playing with him!” Changbin chuckled from the sidelines.
“Minho! Come on!” Hyunjin spurred his friend on.
As he would, Minho’s curious eyes focused back down on you again, scattering around while he calculated out some kind of invisible equation as he inched you toward the edge of the ring.
“Slip! Slip!” Changbin grabbed onto the bouncing ropes of the ring and Minho hooked into your side.
You twirled your body out past him, letting his punches meet the side of the ring. Your motion had caught him off guard once you had escaped his attempt to pin you.
Now he was the one that was pinned.
In his excitement, Changbin bounced up and down, “JAB JAB!!”
Minho’s focus faded after you had squatted and carried out your swing to his side, and another to his arms covering his face.
“Your stance! Minho!” Seungmin gasped as Minho tripped himself to the ground.
The rest of the group leapt into the air, hollering into the echoey and concrete space.
Minho’s body hit the ground with a thud. His gloved hands became clumsy as he tried to brace himself, and his face was cleanly met with the blue mat.
Your victory was short lived once you saw the way that his eyes wrinkled upon his fall.
“You okay?”
“--Fine.” His words winced through his teeth. “I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?”
Jeongin bunny hopped into the ring to undress the velcro of your gloves and headgear.
“Don’t lie to me Minho, you can’t lie about these kinds of things.”
“I said that I’m fine.”
Your free hands helped him to his feet. “Have Chan look you over ‘kay? I’m sorry...I didn’t mean to hit that hard...”
Minho shook out his wetted hair once he was free of his headgear. “Stop apologizing. I’m gonna head to the showers.”
Without another word, he slipped under the ropes, hunched a little as he tossed his tape away.
Hyunjin handed you your water which you took thankful gulps of. “Do you think that he’s mad at me?”
“No. It’s not your fault.”
“My fault?”
Hyunjin shrugged with a little smirk. “He’s doing it to himself.”
“Doing what??”
“Boxing knock all the logic out of you? Are you seeing okay?” Hyunjin waved his hand in front of your eyes.
“What the hell are you doing?”
“Ahhhh Y/n...silly little Y/n. How many times do I need to tell you?”
“No...this isn’t about that again is it?”
You guzzled down more water and were just a little tempted to flick some of it over on Hyunjin’s unrealistically gorgeous face. Anything but this again.
Changbin threw a white towel at you. “It’s honestly comical at this point.”
“Not you too.” You rolled your eyes.
“He’s literally fucking falling over himself for you and you still don’t see it.”
“I’m not seeing anything because there isn’t anything to see.”
“I can’t believe you.” Changbin and Hyunjin exchanged equally unimpressed eyerolls.
“You said it yourself ‘Bin, I’m getting better. All this practice and I can finally beat him. Why aren't you celebrating with me Mr. “I’m-The-Best-Boxing-Teacher-You-Will-Ever-Meet-Or-Know?” If, if he’s got a thing for me, why hasn’t he said anything?”
Changbin sighed out. “I don’t know, I don’t know how the hell he works. No one really does. He isn’t really the sharing type.”
“You ask him.” Hyunjin announced point blank. “If you’re so skeptical, ask him.”
An unwanted heat assaulted your cheeks. “I’m not--”
“--Oh my god, are you scared to ask? ~Mmm-how unlike you~” Hyunjin patted your head like you were a little dog. His eyes widened. “Are you saying that you feel--”
“--You know what! I’m going to hit the showers too. I’m a mess. Don’t hang around.”
“It never hurts to ask!” Hyunjin called after you, giggling a little in his own teasing way.
“There’s nothing to ask!”
(( ))
“Lock up when you’re done!” Chan’s voice rang through the empty hall of the gym, flicking off a couple lights behind him.
The green-white fluorescent lights above you buzzed with an insect-like ring and flickered every view seconds. Up high on the concrete walls, opened horizontal windows were cracked, letting in the humidity of the summer night, and carried in the sound of crickets singing their nighttime ode. The dark corners of the room seemed perilous compared to the single ring that was lit just for the two of you.
“Minho, I’m exhausted, how much longer do you plan on staying?” Your punch mitts fell to your sides.
“Just a little while longer. I’ve just felt...kinda out of it this week. I could use the extra practice.” His eyes shied, “I appreciate you staying after.”
“Let's just get this over with.” You raised your mitts in front of your face, holding your ground.
Minho huffed out a determined breath, then swung at them with all his might. The sound of the tight fabric patted through the room. His eyes didn’t meet yours for several minutes, his pure focus on each carry though of his arms sent little shock waves to your wrists. Time ticked past on the particularly loud clock nailed to the walls and caged in a little metal grid.
Rather than striking up a conversation like you would, Hyunjin’s voice taunted over and over in your mind like a curse.
“It never hurts to ask!”
Minho stepped back, catching his breath. “I think I’m good now.”
“Great!” You snapped your thoughts back to the moment. “I’m gonna wash off before I head out...you?”
“Probably. The water at my place as been fucking freezing lately, I swear that my landlord is a criminal.”
“Oh...sorry about that.”
“ ‘t’s fine. I’m talking with him tomorrow.”
“I’ll head in with you then…”
(( ))
Chan’s gym had a propensity for having facilities that were usually slightly off-- the automatic lights being one of them. If it wasn’t for more of the high-set windows, it would have been pitch black in the locker room, but the nearly full waxing moon filled the whole room with brilliant silver light. Among the metal of the lockers and the porcelain sinks, the room seemed to be bathed in a bluish tint.
“He’s really gotta get the lights fixed.” You said aloud, merely just trying to say anything to fill the quiet of the room.
“Add it to the list.” Minho breathed out a snicker. “That fourth sink hasn’t worked in weeks.”
“Really?”
The two of you had made some sort of unspoken rule being in the room together: backs turned, not daring to look at the other while you undressed, somehow it seemed like the respectful thing to do. The cold tiles met your bare feet, and your damp skin met the cool air. Suddenly the warmth of the shower sounded like the most enticing thing you could imagine.
Minho’s presence behind you intrigued you sneakily, thoughts pervaded your mind that you hadn’t expected.
Hyunjin had almost asked you if you had feelings for Minho. What would you have said?
You pulled your towel over your body, tucking it in place. “I...I wanted to apologize for the other day. I got too cocky. I shouldn’t have jabbed you that hard, and on your side. That wasn’t...fair of me.”
“I said before, drop it.”
You turned, and the sight of him nearly startled you. You had never totally imagined what he looked like under those white shirts that would cling to his sweating body, but it was nothing like this.
Minho’s back was magnificently sculpted and his shoulder blades curved and poked out from under his skin almost a bit like wings. The curve of his spine traced down his back in a perfect line, and it arched a little as he twisted his body around. Two little dimples peppered right above his waist. Close to his ribs, a little purple mark faded into the pale of his skin.
“I-is that…”
You advanced closer. In the blue light of the room, your eyes couldn’t make out what it was, but you suspicion twisted knots into your stomach.
Minho jumped a little seeing how close you had drawn to him after not hearing your silent footsteps.
“Is that...a bruise? Did I bruise you?”
Panic set in Minho’s eyes. “--No! No, that’s from a couple weeks or so ago, some stupid accident, I can’t really remember.”
“...Are you sure?”
“Positive.” He nodded.
“Well...if you’re lying, I’ll--”
“--What, punch me again like that?”
Minho’s smiling eyes crinkled up slightly and you felt yourself met lightly into them: his smile was something that you knew you had always found to be adorable. Seeing him like this brought memories of him on the mat, flat on his back, those same eyes looking up at you in his awe.
“Haha. Funny. No, I won’t hit you.”
“Good. That did hurt though.”
“...sorry.”
Water dripped from a sink somewhere, and Miho’s hand lingered on his locker door.
“I haven’t hurt you before...have I?”
“You?” In your confusion, your brows scrunched together. “Not that I can remember I think. I know that it looks really dramatic when I fall but--”
“--I don’t want to hurt you either, you know right?”
“It’s just boxing, Minho, it’s not too serious, I know that you’re not like, out to get me or whatever.”
Under the silver-blue moonlight, Minho’s pale skin seemed illuminated. “Hmm.” He sighed.
When he faced you, you could see his pronounced collarbones and the way that his arms stretched out the muscles underneath. Never would you have imagined him to look this breathtaking. You chalked it up to being tired, but creeping little thoughts wove around your brain, whispering tantalizing ideas.
Silently, you wondered what he would feel like under the touch of your fingers. Every single curve of his body you wanted to trace, just to see where they would lead. You hadn’t noticed, but Minho had watched you as your eyes journeyed over him, just as his eyes had done countless times to you before.
You held his eyes tentatively with Hyunjin’s words on your tongue. “Minho, can I ask--”
Minho’s answer was hastily given to you in the form of him clambering his lips into yours while he drew you into his bare chest; he was much warmer than had imagined. There was something frighteningly intimate about the both of you meeting in a tangle of skin and lips; the heat of his chest and yours mixing. He had kissed you so suddenly that you seemed to stumble over your own lips deciding if you wanted to kiss him back. While he was needy, the way in which he ran his lips over yours was more caring than fleeting and impulsive. He knew exactly what he was doing as he gave into the magnetism drawing him into you.
Your partner’s hands cascaded down your back, drawing little squiggles down your spine, causing your legs to buckle slightly. He flooded your mouth with his kisses, each one more searing than the last, each one desperate to tell you what his words couldn’t. At last, you let your shocked body return to him, kissing him back. The moment that you did so, he shuddered into you, clawing lightly at your back. The tiniest “oh” from his lips moaned into your mouth and he shifted to tangle his hands up close to your scalp, drawing you even nearer to him.
He murmured onto you, “I can’t tell you how long I’ve had to hold myself back.”
It was the slick of his tongue running over your bottom lip that sent you spiraling for him. Just as you had wanted, you let your hands traverse all around his chest and his back, following the lines in his body as if they were a treasure trail to something that you could barely comprehend. Your touches on his skin turned his breaths into unsteady little whimpers that traipsed in between your mixing of lips and heated exhales.
“Mm-please...come with me?”
(( ))
Condensation had gathered heavily upon the deep green tiles of the shower wall while it too dissipated up into the air of the dimly lit bathroom. Swirls of the white wisps entangled around you and you breathed them heavily into your lungs. Under the warmth of the water, your body felt perfectly at ease: your aching muscles too revealed in the feeling that the heat brought, and Minho’s kneading hands worked at every knot in your body while he touched everywhere he could...as if he was starving for it. Handfuls of your skin filled up his greedy palms.
“You’re so beautiful. Everything about you...I’ve always wanted to tell you…” Minho kissed down your neck lapping at your nerves and disrupting the trailing of water down your body. “You-you make it so hard for me.”
“Hard to do what?”
“You’re irresistible.”
Minho’s words escaped from his lips like fresh honey while you were left to melt under them. After being so quiet around you, you felt yourself a fool to have ignored everything that was in front of you; and for being as stubborn as you were.
Further down your body, Minho let his hands fall down your own chest, ghosting his fingers over your nippes. The softest touches from his hands made your buds harden instantly, and your arousal pooled obviously within your sex. To steady yourself, you had thrown your arms over his shoulders and scratched at the combination of water and strings of muscles on his back.
“I-I should have listened, Minho...I’m-mm-so sorry.”
“That doesn’t matter anymore.” He broke for a moment to catch your gaze. “Can I show you? Can I show you how much you drive me absolutely crazy?”
Minho coupled his words with the scrape of his nails down your arms. Every touch that he gave you was needy and testing. You set yourself giddy a bit thinking of how he must have imagined this very moment countless times.
Your hot breath tickled the wet skin of his neck where you returned his kisses. “You can do whatever you want.”
With your permission, Minho’s body appeared to tighten. Where he had pinned you against the wall, his painfully hard member dripped out his eager pre-cum, and throbbed against your belly. Your mind ran free thinking of the ways that you would show him attention as well.
“Mm-tell me to stop and I will, okay?”
“Mmhmm.”
Minho let his kisses waterfall next to the flowing water down your skin farther and farther until he had hovered over your own sex which had grown painfully swollen waiting for his touch.
In the silver moonlight, Minho’s brown eyes glistened while he looked up at you, teasing you with his tongue, never granting you the full satisfaction. The corners of his mouth curled into a smile seeing how you reacted to his agonizingly slow lapping.
“~Y/n~” He sang, “You taste so good.”
“More…” You pathetically pleaded. “Stop-stop teasing me...Minho.”
He did as he was told, granting you more of his mouth, and sucking steadily and purposefully as you grinded into his mouth for even more. Minho reached behind you to grab out handfuls of your ass in his hands, lovingly kneading the skin at the same time. Water droplets had showered over his face, and strung together his eyelashes in a way that you could have sworn made them look as if they sparkled.
Before your orgasm hit, you demanded of him, “Come up here.” The way that his dick had twitched while he had sucked on you was becoming too hard for you to ignore.
With your finger tracing along his jaw, you kissed into his mouth, “My turn.”
The tiles were a bit hard on your knees, but after you had swung his beautifully thick thigh over your shoulder, nothing mattered as you had found your perfect angle.
You have him sloppy kisses all along his length and bit into his thighs, indulging in him, pulling at the skin where he was much more sensitive than you had expected. While it was contradictory, you gave him as many hickies as you could on the skin of his milky inner thighs. The purple love bites were gorgeous on his shaking legs.
“oh god.” He moaned out.
Your tongue teased him for a little while longer, then his hands told you what they wanted you to do. He had braided his fingers deep into your strands, and pulled your lips up to meet with his tip.
“God, I want you so bad, please, y/n.”
Just as how you had felt when he was at your mercy on the mat, he was all yours now: yours to take apart, yours to put back together.
“Needy baby.” You cooed into his leaking slit. “That bad?”
“Are you going to make me beg more?”
“Maybe I like it?” Your wrist jerked at him at last.
“Please give me your mouth, I can’t wait any longer.”
“Cute.”
Upon fully taking him in, Minho gasped out so sharply and loudly, it even surprised you. Never had someone been so needy for you, it was intoxicating. You took him in gradually deeper and deeper, pushing down your throat. All around you, the showering water coated you in an ocean of comfort; it trailed down your hair and fell down the sides of your face and your arms, no place was untouched.
Minho’s pruned fingers dug into your shoulders, “get up--fuck--”
At first, his fingers entered you, teasing your hole. Your stringy slick mixed with the water clinging to his fingers. The orgasm that he had once started within you pooled heavily and tightened at your core.
“Show me Minho, give it to me.”
He instructed you by picking you up into his arms, then pinned you against the tiled walls, back flat against the cool stone. His fingers dug into your ass, aligning you over his dick. It took all of your strength to wrap your arms and legs around him, but he held you back with ease.
“I-I’m not too heavy?”
“No. Not at all, you’re perfect for me. All of you.”
Together, you shivered at the feeling of connection once he had entered you, instinctually finding each other's lips between the water.
Minho’s thrusts started out slow and careful, planned almost. He was intentional in the way he reached as deep inside you as he could and listened to every response of your body.
“Mm...keep going,” you panted, “like that. ‘Feels so, so good.”
Time faded into non-existence this way with Minho dragging his hips in and out of you with a tantalizing speed. More than anything, it was the closeness that you felt taking him in so wholly, feeling every inch of his length. Each time that he grazed you deep, you sunk deeper into him, becoming weaker and weaker in his arms.
“I’m so close. Can I cum?” Minho’s brown glistening eyes pleaded to you.
You nodded eagerly, and it was if a switch had flipped inside him. All at once, he shoved your body harder into the wall, screwing you into it. His arms flexed where he held you, and his chest flushed red as he neared his release. When he did, his face was near euphoric as he milked himself completely into you, reaching one hand down to give your sex more attention, using his thumb to apply pressure.
When you reached your release, you could only helplessly convulse in his arms, thighs quivering against his hips.
Minho cradled you as you came down, smoothing the top of your head, then eventually helping you stand on your own. “You okay?” He took both sides of your face gently in his palms. “By the way, what is that you were gonna ask me earlier? Sorry…”He bashfully grinned at you. “I had other things on my mind.”
You took his face in your hands too, firstly brushing over the little mole on his nose, then delighting in the soft hairs of his cheeks.
“It’s okay. I got my answer.”

Taking Flight || Stray Kids x Reader
Part 2 to Airport Security
Your gaze was held rapt as you looked at the plane outside of the huge glass windows. Your eyes looked at the huge piece of machinery that you would be boarding shortly. Below, you could see people wearing bright vests loading the checked-in luggage into the bottom of the plane, and a large pipe probably carrying fuel was being carried away. You felt a presence sit down on the floor next to you and turned to see Felix. “Is it scary?” the words fell from your lips as you looked at the flying sardine can. All of your excitement about flying (and your previous nerves about security) wasn’t enough to mute the fear of flying. You would be trapped, thousands of feet in the air, with the only thing keeping you up a combination of a vacuum and air molecules.
He gave a moment to think about it and you couldn’t help but gaze at his freckles, “unexpected turbulence is the only scary thing.”
“Turbulence?”
Felix nodded, “it’s a very smooth ride. You hardly notice that you’re moving.” He continued in his deep voice that was pretty soothing, “so turbulence is sudden shakes. It’s typically really short, so don’t worry.” He reassured you with a sunshine smile.
You felt an arm wrap around your shoulders and saw Hyunjin squat down on the other side, “lift off and landing isn’t scary either. Your ears pop though.” You couldn’t help the incredulous look that you shot him, that didn’t sound reassuring at all. “It’s not painful!” he waved his hands around to try and reassure you. “I brought gum, and that helps with it!” he pulled at his bag and looked around inside it for the aforementioned sweet. He pulled out a slightly battered looking box before pulling out a stick and handing it to you, “here. If you chew it while we take off, it helps with the pressure difference in your ears.”
You nodded as you took the piece of candy and pocketed it, grateful that you’d have the small distraction. “It’s honestly kind of fun.” Felix told you with a smile, “the world looks so cool as it gets smaller and smaller. You get to see the city from a whole new perspective, and the tall skyscrapers, well, compared to everything else they’re still tall, but they become little buildings. Like legos!”
“Are you going to sleep on the plane?” Hyunjin asked the two of you as he played with the neck pillow hanging from his bag.
Felix shrugged, “I think I’ll watch movies. You?” he quirked an eyebrow to the blond who shrugged.
“Maybe, I’m not looking forward to the jet lag, but I don’t think I’ll be able to fall asleep.” He replied with a shrug of his own.
Felix nodded, “yeah, it’s like,” he quickly dug out his phone, “9am.”
“Okay kids, we’ll be boarding soon,” the three of you looked up at the sound of the manager’s voice and he was waving for everyone to come near him, so the three of you picked yourselves up from the floor and to him.
The boarding process took a while, but you soon found yourself in the window seat with Seungmin next to you and Minho in the aisle seat. Minho originally got the window seat, but he told you to have it once he realized his position, saying ‘it’s your first time on a plane, you should be able to see outside!’ but you knew it was from his fear of heights.
You sat down in the seat, making sure to buckle yourself and pull it tight. You looked around and noticed the safety card tucked into the pocket in front of you, so you picked it up and read through it. Making sure you knew all the safety procedures and how to safely get out in the case of an emergency.
You felt something bump your shoulder and you looked up to see Seungmin grinning at you, you gave him a slightly confused look as you shoulder bumped him back, a bit harder than he had bumped you, which caused him to give Minho a slight bump. Minho was quick to glare at the two of you, shoving his own shoulder into Seungmin and causing a chain reaction down the row. You couldn’t help your laughter as Seungmin was the poor monkey in the middle as the three of you bumped into each other like a crazy game of dominos. “Mercy! Have mercy!” Seungmin cried out as he started to get dizzy from getting bumped around.
You wrapped your arms around him in a hug to keep him from bumping into Minho again, “sorry!” you giggled as you attempted to give him a cuddle even though both of you were seatbelted down. You felt a jolt and almost immediately pressed your face against the window, surprised to see everything moving backward. You let out an excited sound, “we’re moving!” you remembered the piece of gum Hyunjin gave you earlier and fished it out of your pocket to pop into your mouth.
“I want gum,” Seungmin pouted as he saw you eat the candy.
“Hyunjin,” you responded and he tried to look around for said blond. The seats were tall enough that it blocked his view of most people around him, other than a few people across the aisle, and much to his dismay, none of them were Hyunjin.
You continued to watch out the window with rapt attention as the aircraft slowly moved away from the gate. There was the sound of the engines firing up and the large machine started to move forward, away from the building and towards the runway. You could feel your heart jumping with excitement and fear. You were moments away from flying away from the country you’ve been in your entire life.
You looked over to Seungmin who had quieted and let out a surprised sound. “Are you filming me?” you couldn’t help but laugh at Seungmin as you noticed he pointed his phone at you, “why?”
“It’s your first flight!” he told you excitedly, his eyes switching between looking at you and making sure you were in frame.
You felt heat rise up to your face, “you make me sound like a baby.”
Minho seemed to know what was going through your mind as he couldn’t help the small laugh that erupted, “baby’s first flight.”
“Oh shut up!” you wanted to slap Minho on the shoulder, but with Seungmin in the middle seat, you’d have to reach over him. “Seungmin, can you punch Minho for me?”
“Hey!” Minho’s grin morphed into shock as Seungmin gave him a not-so-gentle punch on the shoulder. He immediately retaliated and the two of them got into a little battle of trying to...punch each other? Tickle each other? Though Seungmin wasn’t faring well as one of his hands was preoccupied with the camera. You laughed as you watched the two of them fight, but it didn’t last for long as the two of them got tired and stopped grappling with each other.
You felt the plane come to a halt and you turned your attention out the window. You couldn’t see much other than trees lining the property line of the airport, the asphalt below, and the wing, but you didn’t see any other planes. You turned to look at Seungmin, “what’s happening?”
“Don’t worry,” Seungmin smiled, his attention still half focused on the camera that he had oriented back to you, “we’re probably waiting for another plane to take off.” You nodded in understanding and covered your face in embarrassment. You really were naive about this whole situation. “Aww, why are you shy?”
“I’m embarrassed.” You honestly replied as you peeked past your fingers to look at Seungmin and Minho, seeing as the latter was watching the two of you curiously.
“Why?”
You let out a nervous laugh, “it feels silly that an adult is getting all excited and curious about a plane ride like this.”
“Don’t worry about it,” Minho gave you a reassuring smile, “it’s cute.” That caused you to flush even more.
“It’s your first time!” Seungmin nodded in agreeance, “there’s nothing wrong with being excited and curious!”
“Besides,” Minho drawled and leaned onto Seungmin, “being responsible is boring.” He poked at Seungmin’s cheek, “you’ll become boring like him.”
“Hey!” you started to laugh, but the sudden roaring of engines and you getting pushed into the back of your chair cut off your joy as you grabbed onto Seungmin’s hand in fear. You watched out the window as the world outside turned into a blur. The plane shook around and the cracks in the runway caused the plane to bump around quickly as it took less and less time to pass a square of concrete. You could hear the creaks of the bins above and felt yourself get even more nervous. That didn’t sound reassuring. You chewed at your gum nervously as the plane tilted up, but your eyes were still glued on the world outside. The jostling of the plane and the hum of the wheels on asphalt faded into silence as the only sound became the whine of the engines as the ground grew further and further away as you rose into the blue sky. Quickly, the airport became small and you watched as the city beyond came into view. Cars on the highways turned into specks, and the blocks and blocks of buildings turned into a puzzle of little squares.
The sky was clear as you rose up, and you saw the ocean come into view. You watched the texture of the water, it wasn’t smooth, but you couldn’t tell it was waves that were causing the mottled appearance. You still felt like you were being pushed into your seat, but the plane had definitely calmed down. Now that the only sound was the engine and the movement was smooth (like Felix had said), it was less anxiety inducing. Yes, it was a little scary to look down at how far above you were, but the seatbelt across your lap and Seungmin’s hand helped you feel safe.
It wasn’t long until the city had disappeared from your view and the plane was traveling over dark blue ocean and clear blue sky. Tiny specks in the water looked to be boats, but it was impossible to tell. There was a soft ring, and you saw the seatbelt light turn off. “So?” Seungmin was watching you with a light in his eyes as he asked what were your thoughts about takeoff.
You smiled at him, “not as scary as I thought it would be. It’s pretty cool actually!”
Seungmin nodded excitedly, “I love plane rides, it’s really exciting to fly, and most of the time everything’s calm since the process works so well. Plus, airports are just the coolest buildings ever.” You smiled and nodded in agreeance. You weren’t sure if you’d feel the same way if you were flying alone, but being with Stray Kids always put you at ease, and having them around definitely helped reassure you.

“I don’t miss from this close.”
The world stopped as you stared down the barrel of Changbin’s pistol. His face was emotionless, staring down at you, waiting for you to say something - specifically, he wanted you to say the right thing.
You’re unable to form a coherent sentence, unintelligible noises come babbling up from your throat, too terrified to even plead for your life. Tears start building up in the corner of your eyes as your body starts to tremble.
Jisung shakes his head, standing in between both of you. He lifts his hands to the air, slowly stepping in between Changbin’s pistol and you. “Changbin-hyung,” he says, his voice shockingly calm. “It’s not her fault. I don’t have definitive proof, but I will risk my life for her on this.”
Changbin’s expression doesn’t change. He rolls his eyes up to meet Jisung’s and moves his arm to aim the pistol at him, touching the gun to his forehead as he cocks it. “You’d bet your life on it?”
“Jisung,” you manage to weakly squeak out. The tears that had been building up start pouring down your cheeks, unable to be stopped. First, you had almost lost Christopher. Now you were about to lose Jisung.
“Absolutely.” Jisung is reserved, stoic in his resolve. “I need you to trust me, Changbin-hyung. Please.”
Changbin scoffs, rolling his head to the side. He disarms the pistol, tucking it back into its holster. He turns back to Jisung, running his tongue over his teeth. Suddenly, he winds up a punch and decks the silver-haired man right in the face, causing him to land on the floor with a thud.
“What the fuck?” Jisung shouts, grabbing his face.
“Don’t you ever do that to one of your superiors again. Your hyungs’ orders are absolute, even if you disagree with them. If you ever interfere like this again, I will break your fucking kneecaps.” Changbin spits out, rubbing his knuckles. “Got it?”
Jisung squints at Changbin in disbelief, but nods his head. “Understood, hyung.”
“Good. As for you,” Changbin looks directly into your eyes, taking a couple of steps closer until he’s at the edge of the bed. He grabs your jaw with a firm grip. “If I find out that you’re working for them, I absolutely will kill you. No questions asked. I don’t care if Jisung or Chan protest. Nobody fucks with my family. Nobody fucks with me.”
His words, laden with venom, cause your blood to run cold. You weakly nod your head, as best as you could with his hand holding your jaw in place. He lets go of your face with an aggressive push. Changbin turns away from both of you.
Jisung sits up, looking at you with a mortified expression. You could feel his sympathy from where you sat, knowing that he was as terrified as you. He’s about to open up his mouth to speak, but Changbin beats him to it.
“Minho found out that your phone was being tracked. Said he added his number to your phone, unlocking it after guessing your passcode a couple of times. It concerned him, so he was able to gain access to your phone and take a look remotely. He just found the tracker while I was at the hospital with Chan.”
The realization that your phone had compromised you had caused your heart to drop to your stomach. It was your fault that all of you were in this mess, that Christopher was holding on to his life in the hospital. Your face falls, and you hold it in your hands. How was this possible?
“I’ve got a burner for you,” Changbin says, tossing a basic phone on the bed in front of you. “There’s nothing fancy about it, but it has our numbers in it in case you need anything.” You weakly nod your head in acceptance.
“What’s happening with Chan-hyung now?” Jisung speaks up, working himself to his feet. He wobbles a bit, then walks to the bed, sitting down next to you. The spot that Changbin punched is starting to bruise up.
Changbin sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose. He unceremoniously flops on to the foot of the bed, leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees, clasping his hands together in front of him. “Chan is fine for now.” You allow yourself a sigh of relief. “However, the bullet damaged his clavicle and he lost about a litre and a half of blood. I’m sure he’ll be released in no time, but he’s going to be out of commission for a while. “
You were relieved that Christopher was going to be okay, but waiting was going to be hell. “What do we do now?” You ask Changbin, hoping that you can make yourself useful.
He swivels his head to look at you and sighs deeply. “Honestly? I’m not totally sure yet. I just need the three of you to stay here until I figure more of this shit out.”
And wait you did. Time passed a snail’s pace while you waited in the small apartment. Felix was there for a few days, but didn’t say much. He was replaced by Seungmin, and he shared some entertaining conversations to pass the time. The next week, Minho was there, and you were relieved to see a face you recognized. He helped everything seem to go a bit smoother with his witty humour.
It had to have been about two, maybe three, weeks since your altercation with Changbin. You had avoided checking the days, since you knew that would just make everything go that much slower.
“Hey, bunny?” You heard Jisung’s voice call for you from the bedroom. He walked into the living room, staring at his phone, as he came to sit next to you and Minho.
“What’s up?”
“It’s Changbin-hyung. He’s coming over and wanted to make sure you were awake.” Jisung sets his phone down on the coffee table, then relaxes back into the couch and sighs. “He didn’t say what it was, he just said it was important and he’d be here in, like, twenty minutes.”
“Huh,” Minho sighs, checking his phone as he leans back into the couch. “He hasn’t even told me. It’s probably something pretty important, then.”
The next twenty minutes dragged on as slowly as humanly possible. You, Jisung, and Minho all sat on the couch in silence, staring off into the wall.
“That’s it,” you hear a calm, soothing voice come from behind the front door. The three of you all snap your heads in that direction, and, as Jisung stands, his phone goes off. “No, you can’t - goddammit,” the voice calls again as the door handle rattles.
Jisung grabs his phone, checks it, then shoves it into his pocket. “It’s locked,” he says, advancing towards the front door. He fumbles with the lock a bit until it clicks and recedes into its cavern. “I listened to you this time, hyung,” Jisung says with a smirk as he opens the door. His face falls as soon as the door opens all the way, shocked at what he’s seeing.
“Since when do you listen?” The voice that drifts through the door is familiar, and it makes your heart drop into the pit of your stomach. A cold sweat comes over you as you stare at the doorway.
It’s Christopher.
Your feet start to move before you even register it. It’s almost like your brain is on autopilot as you beeline your way into his arms.
“Ow,” Christopher groans as you squeeze his ribs, “injured shoulder, injured shoulder.”
“Oh my god,” you hastily let go of Christopher, then take his face into your hands. “It’s you. It’s really you. You’re alive.”
Christopher smiles, then leans down to kiss your lips. “Hey, baby. Don’t worry, I can’t be taken out that easily.” Jisung comes closer and leans his elbow on Christopher’s good shoulder.
“Took you long enough,” the silver-haired man quips. “And here I was worried you were actually gonna die for a minute.” Christopher groans and rolls his eyes at Jisung.
“Come on,” Changbin says, placing his hand on the small of Christopher’s back and ushering him to the couch. “Let the poor guy sit down.”
“Ah, Bin,” Christopher grumbles as he walks with Changbin, “I’ve been resting for two and a half weeks straight. I don’t really need to sit down that badly.”
“I don’t care,” Changbin says, guiding the blond-haired man to the cushion. “I need you at peak condition as soon as I can get you there” He sits down next to Christopher and motions for you and Jisung to sit down. “I have important news.”
Jisung sits on the floor behind the coffee table, letting you have the spot next to Christopher on the couch. Minho leans up against the wall and tucks his hands into his pockets.
“I found the person that’s been tracking you,” Changbin says as he stares into your eyes. “You’re absolutely positive you’re not involved?”
You vigorously shake your head. “Of course not. Why would I want to bring harm to a bunch of guys I barely know?”
“Because,” Changbin says, slicking his hand back through his hair. “You know who the threat is. You know them very well, actually.” Your breath hitches in your throat as you stare Changbin down.
“It’s your friend Minji.” Your eyes fly open and you sit back. “I don’t know if it’s just her, or if it’s something more than her, but she’s involved. You sent a pin of your location to her your first night with Chan, and that’s how they found you both.”
Your head was spinning. There was no way that Minji could ever or would ever want to hurt you. Right? “There’s no way that’s true,” you manage to squeak out, staring at the floor in disbelief. “Minji would never involve herself with something like that.”
“But she did,” Changbin sighs. “Like I said, I don’t know if it’s just her or not. It’s going to take some time to figure everything out, but once I do, I’m taking care of it.”
“Taking care of it?” You perk up cautiously.
Changbin hums, then looks to the floor. There’s an awkward silence as you wait for him to speak up. “She won’t be an issue anymore.” Christopher turns to look at him, then swivels his head around to look at you, eyes wide with shock.
You furrow your brows as you look at Christopher, then to Changbin. Your jaw drops as you realize exactly what he means. “No,” you manage to whimper out, then jump to your feet. “You’re not going to kill Minji, are you?”
Changbin sighs and rolls his eyes. “I already told you,” he says, standing up to be eye-level with you. “Nobody fucks with my family and nobody fucks with me. She’s a threat and needs to be eliminated.”
“How can you even be sure?” You’re practically yelling at Changbin now. There was no way that your friend was really in the middle of all of this.
“I have my sources,” Changbin grunts, folding his arms. “You’re not going to be able to change my mind on this. Besides, how do you think you ended up at the same place as Hyunjin and Chan that night? How do you think both of them got shot within a couple of days? It all adds up. She was using you as a cog in her machine.”
There was no way this was true.
Changbin reaches into the breast pocket of his jacket, then flops a stack of papers on the table. “If you don’t believe me, then look at this. I have copies of her text messages from the week prior to the Itaewon house party, along with some other damning things in there. Why do you think you were caught up in a picture with Chan, but she wasn’t in a picture with Hyunjin? Both of you were at the same party at the same time. Bit suspicious, isn’t it?”
You start to thumb through the papers Changbin provided. Sure enough, the copies of the text messages Minji had sent to an unknown number proved him right. Starting from a couple of nights before you both went to that party, copies of conversations the two of you had before the party, including the messages you had sent each other after you parted, and the message with Christopher’s apartment’s location forwarded to some random number.
It was mind-boggling. You had known Minji for over a year now, so to be betrayed like this was a shock. She was your first and only friend you had from work. How long had she ben planning this?
The papers fell from your hands as you grabbed your face. “This can’t be true. There’s no way,” you whispered, falling to your knees. “Minji would never do this to me.”
“She did, though,” Changbin said with a sigh, folding his arms. “I don’t know if she intended for you to get involved in all of this or not, but here we are. I’ve gotta take care of this.” He reoriented himself, making eye contact with Minho and Jisung. “Can I trust this,” he motioned in a circle in front of you, “to you?”
You see Minho nod from the corner of your eye. Changbin starts to make his way for the door, but you instinctively reach out and grab his pant leg. “Please,” you whisper, unable to look at him, “please don’t do this to her. She doesn’t deserve this.”
Changbin groans heavily, and you swear you can hear him roll his eyes. “You saw the messages. I don’t know how else to convince you that your so-called ‘friend’ is not who she says she is.” He tugs his leg free from your grasp and continues walking to the door. “I’m not risking this, not for the family. Chan and Hyunjin were already injured, and that grievance is too large for me to forgive.”
He opens the door, and closes it with a slam. You swear you heard him apologize, but it easily could have been a figment of your imagination.
“Baby,” Christopher says, softly, reaching his good arm out to grab your shoulder, “I’m sorry. There’s nothing we can do once Changbin sets his mind on something, especially if it’s something to protect the family.”
Your eyes fall on a piece of paper in front of you, and you grab it in your hands, pulling it to your face to look at it. The paper has screenshots of text messages from Minji’s phone number transcribed on it.
Yeah, she’s there now.
Best thing that could have happened, now we know where he is.
No, I don’t care. She’s expendable.
It’s orders from the top. You need to take BC out. It’ll dismantle their whole group.
Why the fuck didn’t you kill him? I just got word that he survived.
I’m going to have one of the guys kill you then clean up your mistake.
The messages from Minji seem surreal. You had no idea that she had this side to her. How much had she been hiding all this time? Did she really believe you were expendable?
Jisung leans down next to you, whispering your name. “It’s okay, bunny,” his voice is soft as he reaches up to rub the tears off of your face. “We’ll get through this.”
Christopher groans on his way to the floor, but he makes his way down right next to you. “Sung is right, baby. This is just a blip in the road. We’ve got you.”
Minho’s phone goes off, and he walks past the three of you. “Looks like Binnie changed his mind and needs my help. I’m going to take off, but Jeongin will be here to watch over in an hour or something.”
You stare at your hands, noticing they don’t even feel like an extension of your body anymore. They’re just there, somehow attached to your body. Nothing even feels real at this point. This entire month has been an absolute shitshow, and nothing could really surprise you at this point.
“What the fuck,” you manage to squeak out after a tense silence. “I thought I knew Minji.”
Jisung pulls you to his arms, tightly gripping your shoulders. “There’s no way you could have predicted this. I bet she didn’t even plan to have you be a part of this at first, that’s just the way it happened.”
In the back of your mind, everything started to fall into place. You very distinctly recall Minji pressing you to come to this stupid house party, even though you weren’t feeling it. “Minji,” you grumbled as you applied your mascara, “I’m not gonna stay for very long. I’m just gonna go in, have a drink or two, then leave. Is that fine?”
“Yes! Yes, babe, that’s great,” Minji said with a smile, winking to you in the mirror as she applied her last layer of lipstick. “Nobody wants to show up to a party alone, and nobody wants to leave a party alone. Maybe we’ll find some cute guys while we’re there?”
When you were at the party and she ducked off within minutes, it didn’t make sense. “Oh, I just saw my ex, I’ll only be gone for a minute,” she said, but she disappeared for the rest of the night. Now, in hindsight, everything made sense. She knew that Hyunjin and Christopher were at the party, and you were lucky enough to capture Christopher’s attention. She may not have intended for it to happen, but it did, and she was probably beside herself with excitement.
You shook your head, frantically running your fingers through your hair as you pulled yourself from the memory. “What the fuck is happening? How could she use me like this?” You broke away from Jisung, turning around to look at both him and Christopher. They just exchange concerned glances with each other and say nothing.
“What the fuck?!” You exclaim with a loud sigh, falling back on to the floor and staring at the ceiling. Your eyes were burning with tears that stung of your betrayal. Minji was your only friend from work, the only friend you really bothered to make and keep since you moved here. To be betrayed by her like this was another level of pain.
“Bunny,” Jisung whispers, grabbing your arm. “It’s going to be okay, maybe not right now, but we’ll get through this.”
“You don’t understand, Jisung,” you yell at him through tears, “Minji was my only close friend. After you and I split, she was the only real friend I had to vent to. To know that my entire friendship with her was a fucking lie?”
Jisung sits back on his heels, biting his lip and turning away from you. He mouths something to Christopher, but you can’t make out whatever he says. You don’t care at this point, honestly, because this whole situation is a nightmare.
“Alright, alright,” Christopher sighs, working his way to be closer to you. “No more of this pity party. It’s not on you to feel bad for her behaviour. She’s the one that fucked you over, now you need to acknowledge it and move on.”
“Chan,” Jisung starts, a bit of shock to his voice, “don’t you think that’s a bit harsh?”
You want to agree with Jisung, but you know that, deep down inside, Christopher is right. You drag your hands over your face and sit upright. “He’s right, though,” you say with a groan. “As much as I don’t want to admit it, he’s right. She fucked it up on her own accord. I can be mad at her for this later.”
“That’s the spirit,” Christopher says, wrapping his good arm around your shoulders, “I’m not saying don’t be angry. Absolutely, let yourself be angry. But we need to figure out what we’re going to do next, alright?”
The three of you chatted for a while, and eventually Jeongin showed up, bringing some takeout from a pasta restaurant just up the street. It was a relatively uneventful dinner, some jokes springing up between the acquainted men, leaving you a bit out of the loop as you sat on and watched.
Your mind couldn’t help but travel to think about if Changbin had found Minji yet. If he found her, was she dead? You could swear that you heard her whispering your name on the wind as it drifted in from the window.
“Hey,” Jisung waved his hand in front of your face, “Are you alive in there?” The voice you were hallucinating wasn’t Minji’s, it was just Jisung, saying your name over and over as he tried to get your attention. “I was worried you had mentally checked out on us. How are you doing?” He reached his arm around you, his hand soothingly rubbing on your back.
“Oh,” you manage to squeak out, “yeah, sorry, I was just distracted.”
“Alright,” Christopher says, looking at Jisung as he stands up. “I have an idea. But I need you to grab her and bring her with, since I’m out of commission.” Christopher ducks off into the bedroom without waiting for Jisung’s response.
“Way ahead of you,” Jisung smiles, turning to Jeongin, “sorry, man, it’s gonna be a busy night without you. You cool?”
The young man with black hair waves his hand in the air dismissively as he pulls out his phone, stretching out onto the couch. “Don’t worry about me,” he says, “I’ll keep myself plenty entertained. Maybe I’ll watch one of those American programmes on TV. Brush up on my English or something.”
You’re about to open your mouth to protest, but Jisung scoops you up in his arms and throws you over his shoulder. “Come on,” he says with a perk in his voice, “we could all use this, just a little break from reality.” He brings you into the bedroom, tossing you on the bed next to Christopher. He closes the door behind him, then flops down on the bed in between both of you.
“Is this what you had in mind?” Jisung perks up, asking Christopher specifically. The blond laughs, bringing his hands behind his head.
“Yeah, I guess you could say that,” Christopher says with a cocky smile on his face. “I can’t really do much, though,” he whines, “but I don’t mind watching you two entertain each other while I sit back.”
“You heard the man,” Jisung smirks as he rolls over on top of you. “He wants a show, so I guess we gotta give him one.”
“Oi,” Christopher interjects, “I would just like to point out that I never said you had to do anything. But, it would be nice to have a little fun. It’s been a few weeks since I’ve seen you guys and I could really use the stress relief,” his voice trails off as he leans back onto the headboard. “I’m fine with just taking care of it myself, too.”
Jisung crawls up to the spot right next to Christopher. “I want to watch,” he says with a wide grin as he looks at both of you.
“I don’t care,” Christopher sighs before moving to undo his jeans. “I’ve been waiting for this for far too long.” Jisung leans over to Christopher, lightly grabbing his face.
“Don’t worry, hyung,” he says with a giggle, “I’m just teasing. We’ll help you out.” Jisung presses his lips to Christopher, motioning for you to hurry up with his free hand. Christopher pushes back into Jisung, grabbing his hair with his good hand.
You watch the guys wrestle with each other a bit before you wiggle your way up into Christopher’s lap, completely undoing his pants for him. The blond groans with relief into the silver-haired man’s lips, clearly relieved to be free from the restraint of his pants. “I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this,” the blond mutters, “like, you’re not my type, Jisung, but,”
Jisung bites down on Christopher’s bottom lip, hard enough to make the older man squeal, “Yeah, are you really gonna complain about it right now, though? Because I’d be happy to stop.”
Christopher glares at the younger man, “I’m injured. Can you give me a break?”
“Aww,” Jisung mocks Christopher, jokingly pushing in his cheeks with his fingertips. “Poor boss, thinking that getting shot on the job is such a good idea. Bet that’ll teach you not to get shot next time?”
You balk at Jisung’s words, looking at him with wide eyes. Did he really just say that to his superior? Christopher catches your eye, noticing your shock. “Don’t worry,” he groans, waving his hand dismissively, “Jisung is a brat sometimes. I’ll let him have it for now, but he knows he should watch his tongue. Once I’m recovered, you’re fucked.”
Jisung scoffs. “Yeah, I’d like to see you try, tough guy.” Christopher whips his head back in disbelief, about to say something, but you interrupt both of them, sticking your hands in their faces.
“Can you save whatever this is for later?” You try to plead, but Jisung simply rolls his eyes at you.
“Yeah, I’ll stop whenever Chan-hyung clearly stops enjoying this,” he says with a smirk, looking down at Christopher’s lap, then up to you. Chris groans, gritting his teeth at Jisung’s nickname.
“The nickname, I told you,” he starts, but Jisung brings his finger to Christopher’s lips.
“Shush,” he whispers, and replaces his finger with his lips for a quick, soft kiss. “Come on, it’s your turn to do something, bunny, give him something to finally shut up over.”
Watching your (maybe?) ex-boyfriend tease your (maybe?) current boyfriend was a lot for you to mentally (and physically, in some regards) handle. Christopher turned to you, his eyes half open, and his mouth slightly agape.
“What is it?” You softly whisper, positioning yourself directly on top of Christopher’s lap, placing your hands on either side of his jaw, angling his face to be just under yours.
“Come on,” Christopher whines, grinding his pelvis up into yours, “you know what I want after all this time.”
“It’s only been a couple weeks,” Jisung quips, smirking at you as he leans up against the headboard. “Doesn’t seem like that long to me, no?”
Christopher groans and digs his good hand into your thigh. “Are you both seriously going to make me beg for it?”
You and Jisung eye each other, giving each other a smirk before turning your attention back to Christopher. “We can’t push you too hard, “ you say with a slight whine, grinding your hips down into his, “it would be bad for the healing process.”
Christopher rolls his eyes at you, giving you a completely deadpan look. “Are you fucking joking?”
“Oh!” Jisung gasps with feigned despair. “It could be too much physical activity if you move around too much. We can’t bump your arm around or anything, it would probably cause problems.”
“Oh my god,” Christopher whines, “I’m not gonna move my goddamn arm, I promise. Can one of you please just help me out here? My good arm has been out of service since I went out, and now I have both of you taunting me? Fucking kill me before I have to go through any more of this.”
“Okay,” you simply say, leaning down to give Christopher a deep, needy kiss. “Just promise you won’t move your arm around at all. If one of us does something that makes your arm hurt, you need to tell us, alright?”
Christopher rapidly nods his head, “Yeah, yeah, fine, just please,” he pleads with a whine, grabbing your hip with his good hand, “I want you so badly. I want to be inside you right this second. Please.”
The look that he gives you when he pleads with you makes your soul melt. It must have an effect on Jisung, too, because he makes a pointed effort to adjust himself in his spot. “I wanna watch you unravel Chan, baby,” he whispers with a devious grin. “I love that he wants you so badly.”
Christopher reorients himself against the headboard, releasing your hip from his grip. He grabs Jisung’s shoulder with his left hand, digging his fingernails into the younger man’s skin. “If you keep making comments without actions, I swear to god, I am going to rip your -“
Jisung shakes his hands in his superior’s face. “Sorry, sorry,” he pleads, “what do you want me to do?”
“Here,” you say, pulling Jisung closer to you. “Just let your hands roam around me. I’m sure you’ll elicit a reaction out of me that will pique Christopher’s interest.” Jisung nods his head to the side, agreeing with you, as he gets behind you. He helps you sneak all of your clothes off, and, by the look on Christopher’s face, it seems to be working.
Once Jisung slides your panties off, you open up the front opening to Christopher’s briefs, and waste no time mounting yourself on his cock. It’s a bit uncomfortable, since you didn’t really think ahead and prepare yourself, but you grin and bear it anyway. The look that Christopher gives you makes all of your discomfort melt away.
“Fuck, baby,” he groans, letting his head fall back on the headboard. Jisung comes up from behind you, sinking his teeth into your neck and letting his hands grasp your breasts. He isn’t very subtle about it, but he’s pressing his cock up against your back, grinding up against you for some sort of stimulation.
“Looks like that’s exactly what our Chan needed, hmm?” Jisung groans into your ear, “You seem to be enjoying yourself, too, baby, yeah?”
You somehow manage to whine out some semblance of agreement, and it causes both Christopher and Jisung to tense.
Christopher rolls his head up, looking both of you in the eyes. “I have an idea,” he whimpers, “but it’s going to involve effort for both of you.”
It took effort, but within a few minutes, with a lot of lubricant that Jisung somehow managed to find, and stretching, you somehow are able to fit both Jisung and Christopher inside of you at the same time. Jisung puts in most of the physical effort, since it’s hard to find the will to get yourself to move, but it really does feel incredible.
Below you, Christopher seems to be having an otherworldly experience. His eyes are shut tightly, and he’s grabbing onto your waist with a vise grip. Jisung has one of his arms wrapped around you as best as he can, his hand stretching up in the space between your breasts. You’re trying your best not to lean up against Christopher with too much pressure, but you feel like your body is going to give out if either he or Jisung lets go of you.
When Jisung starts moving, that’s when you lose all semblance of self-control. Your voice refuses to be restrained, and you’re sure every neighbour in a twenty kilometre radius can hear you praising every deity that has ever existed. The pressure in your abdomen, albeit a bit uncomfortable, feels miraculous. You’re shouting out Christopher’s and Jisung’s names without even intending to, and the effect it’s having on them is obvious.
“Fuck, I’m not gonna,” Christopher groans deeply, letting up one thrust before he collapses into himself, moaning your name as he begins to paint your insides. “Holy fuck,” he groans again, looking up into your eyes, grabbing your face and guiding you to look at him.
The two of you stare at each other for what feels like an eternity, before you feel Jisung dig into your sides. “Baby,” he whines, “this is so much, I’m gonna come,.” He sinks his teeth into your shoulder so hard, you’re positive you start bleeding, but you don’t care at all. In fact, you welcome it.
You aren’t really sure what you tell Jisung, you just know that you welcome it. He hastily drags one of his hands down to your clit, rotating it just enough to bring you over the edge with him.
You try your best not to collapse on to Christopher as your muscles give out. Thankfully, somehow, Jisung is able to keep a hold of you, pulling you backwards on to him. The three of you take a long moment to catch your breath, before Jisung pulls you off of Christopher and back onto him.
“What,” Jisung breathes out, “the fuck was that? Did we seriously just do that?”
Christopher lets out a small cough, then a throaty laugh. “Holy shit. That seriously happened?”
You don’t really have much to say as you come back to your senses. However, you bolt upright with a look of terror in your eyes. “Oh my god,” you say with a hushed tone, “Jeongin heard us.”
Jisung lets out a cackle. “Ah,” he says, reaching out to pull you back down to his arms, “when I stepped out there earlier, I told him to go take a walk for a little bit, that we’d be fine and he wouldn’t wanna be around for what was about to happen.”
“Crafty bastard,” Christopher retorts from his spot, letting out a couple soft chuckles.
“Hey,” Jisung groans, “you may doubt me, but I have my moments, sometimes.”
“Yeah, whatever,” Christopher groans in response. “Can you grab me a paracetamol or something? My arm is fucking killing me.”
You quickly sit up, instantly regretting it due to the the spinning effect you feel. “I’ve got it,” Jisung says from behind you, rolling off of the foot of the bed, digging around in one of the drawers of the dresser. He pulls out a bottle and tosses it at Christopher.
“Thanks,” the blond says, taking out a couple of small pills and swallowing them with no qualms. “Now get back here, baby,” he says to you, tossing the bottle onto the nightstand next to him, then opening his good arm to you.
“Are you sure you don’t want any water?” You ask him as you shakily pull yourself to his side.
“Don’t worry about me,” he grumbles, rotating his right arm around a bit. “Hey, you too, Jisung, get over here.”
Jisung snickers, snuggling up to your back. “What, you’re feeling soft for your blood brother?”
Christopher rolls his eyes and scoffs. “No. That was just an experience I never thought I’d cross off my list.”
“You love me,” Jisung chuckles, tossing the blanket from the end of the bed over the three of you.
“Shut up,” Christopher retorts, deliberately not offering him an affirmation or a denial.
A couple more weeks end up passing, and both you and Jisung try your hardest to help Christopher heal up his shoulder. He’s stubborn, though, trying to make things as difficult as possible at every turn. There was one time the three of you were fooling around on the couch, and Christopher nearly injured his arm even further, forgetting he couldn’t put any load-bearing weight on it. It was a crisis averted, but still a nuisance.
There were a couple of other minor problems that popped up, but the three of you had managed to laugh it off. It was weird, really, it was like you were dating both of them at the same time, but nobody really cared. Nobody got overly jealous, probably because the three of you were stuck in a small apartment together and had no other sense of release from each other.
It wasn’t a bad thing, though. You all had a strange way of working around each other’s quirks. The three of you could also sleep comfortably together on the bed, with you and Jisung alternating between the middle spot. Jisung and Christopher didn’t really know what exactly they were, but they went along with whatever it was anyways.
Sometimes they were basically dating, and other times they couldn’t stand to be around each other. It was weird when Jisung would walk past Christopher, give him a kiss on the forehead, and then continue to walk by like nothing happened. Neither of them ever really addressed it, which was peculiar, but it was what they did, and you learned to accept it.
Regardless of whatever was happening between the three of you, you made it work, and that was good enough for you. Once you were no longer in danger of being killed, and once Christopher was back to full health, the three of you could start to work towards a new normal.
It had to have been about a month since Christopher was released from the hospital, that was when Changbin came over next. It was a Saturday morning, early and unannounced. Christopher was the one that woke up to the text message from Changbin, letting you know of his presence.
Christopher didn’t have time to wake you up, only to let Changbin, Felix, and Jeongin in. You heard the three of them come through the front door, and Changbin invited himself into your bedroom.
“Get up,” he said with an assertive tone, staring you down from the doorframe. “We’ve found her. We’ve found all of them, and we need to go.”

Acceptance.
Mia + Stray Kids
after mia begins to not feel good and changbin is there to care for her, chan finally realizes that their relationship is very real and comes to accepting that they are dating.
hope you guys enjoy! please feel free to leave some feedback because it is always appreciated!
tw: throwing up
[9th Member of Stray Kids]
Mia sat comfortably in a chair as the hairstylist was at the point of almost finishing her hair. She was scrolling away on her phone as she waited, almost everyone else being done to get ready for their performance.
“Do you ever think about changing up your hair color?” The stylist questioned.
Mia only smiled. “Maybe, I don’t know. I really like my black hair, and if I ever do it’s definitely not going to be blonde.” She snorted.
“Well whatever you choose, it’s going to suit you.” The stylist said. “And we’re all done.”
“Thank you!” Mia sang, hopping off the chair but regret it just a bit when she felt a little dizzy from it. She only shook it off and walked away.
“You guys should be going on stage soon, prepare yourselves.” Their manager announced from the door.
Promotions had been great that Mia was almost upset they would soon come to an end. Out of all their comebacks, this had been Mia’s top favorite. The energy from it is what kept her going.
She was in her own world as everyone was doing their own thing to prepare themselves. Mia had softly rapped her lines to herself until she saw Changbin approaching her. “You want some?” He had offered her some of his sandwich.
Mia shook her head. “No, thank you.”
“But you skipped breakfast this morning, the least you can do is take a bite.”
“I wasn’t hungry, plus I ate a banana so I think I should be good for now.”
“If you say so.” Changbin said, taking a bite of his sandwich. “I just don’t want you to perform on an empty stomach.”
Mia smiled. “I’ll be okay, Bin.”
Changbin has wrapped his arms around Mia’s neck as she rested her chin on his shoulder. The boy began swaying her side to side while the both laughed. But as soon as Mia saw Chan staring at them, her smile faded a little.
Mia tapped on Changbin to let her go. “Chan was looking.” She whispered.
Changbin made a face and just shrugged it off. “And?”
“We’re not on his good side right now and I don’t want to make it worse.”
“I don’t care.”
“Bin.”
Changbin sighed but didn’t say a word after. A staff member had poked his head into the dressing room, telling them it was time for them to go on stage.
The whole team walked through the hallway and made it to the side of the stage. Once they were signaled, they walked out and got into position.
During half of the performance everything was going smoothly that was until Mia once again felt herself getting dizzy. She tried to shake it off as much as she could.
But that wasn’t the worst part, she soon began getting a feeling in her stomach that made her feel nauseous and right now she wanted nothing more than for their performance to end. She still gave her all when it came to her ending the song and right when they were in the end position, Mia became more nauseous.
As they were walking off the stage, Mia kept a straight face and walked rather quickly and once being backstage, she let out a gag. It didn’t go unnoticed from her members.
“Hey are you okay, Mia?” Felix asked after hearing her.
“Y-yes.” She slowly said, feeling if she talked she would just end up throwing up on the spot.
The feeling in her stomach became worse, causing her to be unable to hold whatever she had down. She sped walked away from the group, slightly gagging as she did so.
Changbin pushed through the group and followed Mia behind. As soon as Mia had opened the door, she rushed to the trash can and began throwing up.
Changbin was right behind her, crouching beside her and grabbed onto Mia’s hair to push back. He was rubbing her back and she continued to throw up in the trash can. “Exactly why I told you to eat.”
The others had came into the room, all concerned about Mia. “Everything okay?” Minho asked as soon as they stepped in.
Changbin nodded, taking the water bottle that Jeongin was handing him. “Hand me whatever snack is up there too.”
When Mia was finally finished, she turned away from the trash can and sat on the floor. Changbin opened the water bottle then handed it to her.
She took gulps from it, the cold water making her stomach feel much better than before and of course after throwing up.
“Better?” Changbin asked.
Mia nodded, looking up at him. “Yes, better. Thank you.” She handed him back the water bottle.
“What made you sick?”
The girl turned her attention to Seungmin, but before she could answer for herself, Changbin beat her to it.
“She didn’t eat breakfast.” Changbin said, opening up whatever snack Jeongin gave him and fed it to Mia. “That’s what made her sick.”
“I wasn’t hungry.”
“But see what happened because you didn’t eat. The minute we get out of here, I’m buying you food.” Deep in his voice, Changbin had sounded a bit worked up.
“Calm down, man.” Hyunjin snorted.
“I am calm!” Changbin exclaimed. “I’m just, watching out for her.” He looked over at Mia, who was smiling at him. She rested her head on his shoulder, not saying a word. She appreciated how much he was looking out for her.
“I have never seen him so whipped for someone.” Jisung whispered to Felix. “Never would have thought it would be Mia.”
“Everyone ready to go?” Their manager popped in again. “And Mia, are you all good?”
Mia nodded, giving their manager a thumbs up. Changbin stood up first from the floor then helped Mia get up too.
Before the two could grab their belongings, Changbin made sure Mia finished her snack and also the rest of her water and after Changbin had grabbed both his and Mia’s mini backpack. “I can take that.” She said.
Changbin shook his head. “I got it.”
While everyone else was heading out already, Chan couldn’t help but look at his two members. And he hadn’t stopped from the moment Changbin had rushed in to help Mia out.
He was noticing the way Changbin cared for her. And it made him realize that what they had wasn’t just some fling and that it was far more serious than what he had thought.
Chan also realized he couldn’t stay upset about the two forever and that no matter what he said, it wasn’t going to make a difference for the two. As much as he was against their relationship in the beginning, he was ready to accept it.
So when Changbin and Mia were walking towards the door, Chan had stopped them.
“Yes?” Changbin asked.
“I know I haven’t been too happy about you two dating but I also know that I have no right to tell you guys how to live your life. All I was trying to do was protect you guys and the group, but I see that you guys are very serious about each other.”
“What are you trying to say?”
“I’m saying that I don’t care about you two dating.”
Changbin and Mia became shocked but nonetheless very happy. “Really?” Mia smiled.
“Really. I don’t mind. But I will say, to just be careful, i don’t want anything to get out there.”
Mia looked over at Changbin then at Chan. “Don’t worry, leader. We got it.”
“Good.” Chan smiled. “After this, no more secrets please.”
Mia could feel her heart began to race the second Chan had said what he said. She knew she had to tell him soon about the project with her and Elsy, but decided another time would be better.
So, she continued to smile at Chan like nothing. “Of course. No more secrets.”

Beverly Hills- Han Jisung
Part two-- smut warning.
A/N: okay the plot is slowly coming together hhhh progression is slow my dudes. Search down the first hashtag for Part one as I am still working on a masterlist. Enjoy ;)
It’s about six in the morning (don’t even ask how you managed to get up that early) when you find yourself at Jisung’s window, knocking repeatedly on the glass seal before it could suddenly open. Jisung’s eyes are almost blinded by the sun, not noticing your presence.
“Maybe it was a bird… or something” Jisung mindlessly mumbles to himself before you could slap his arm.
“CAW CAW” You scream into his face, his eyes popping out from the sudden surprise. You can tell your good morning call startled him considering the way he fell back on the floor as you jump inside his room.
“Y/N” he says, wiping his sleepy eyes before finally taking in your figure. “What are you doing here?”
“It’s your first day of school dummy. I wanted to swing by to make sure you were all set,” You said, throwing your backpack off to the side before jumping onto the bed. Jisung could only watch as you hopped on, your skirt flowing back onto your lap as you settled against the bedrest.
Truth is, that wasn’t the real reason why you came. Since last night’s encounter, you couldn’t stop thinking about Jisung. More importantly, kissing Jisung. Or him kissing you… or..or…
You just couldn’t stop thinking about him. That led to endless amounts of phone calls to find out his address and here you were, making sure your skirt was raised as high as it could hoping to get something going on in the morning.
What you didn’t expect was the boy in front of you. His messy hair, white tee and grey sweats. Plump lips and sleepy eyes. You wanted to mark his neck up so bad you didn’t realize you were staring at his Adam’s apple before he could walk towards you.
“Are you sure that’s why you came?” He asks, sitting on the edge of the bed. “Did something happen last night?” Awful. This is awful! Who gave him the fucking right to be this caring and adorable and sweet and handsome?!
“I..I..” You’re at a loss of words when you feel him inching closer, as if he didn’t hear you and you can’t stop yourself. Your conscious is telling you no but your body is giving you every reason why you should break this distance between him, and you listen.
Grabbing the nape of his neck, you don’t even think twice before your lips clash onto his. The kiss is messy, his hands on both sides of your body as you sink onto his pillow. Jisung finds himself situated in between your legs as he slips his tongue past your lips. Moaning into the kiss, your hands run down his abdomen to pull off his shirt, the material going over his head as he grabs your cheeks again to peck your lips.
“Are you sure about this?” Jisung asks, out of breath as he stares into your eyes. You can see the lust in them as you lose yourself in his brown pupils, shrinking with every second as he focuses on every part of you. From your eyes, to your pink-tinted cheeks, and occasionally darting to your lips.
“I’m sure” you pant out, hands grabbing at his hair as he starts to attack your neck with his lips. Your hips buck against his as he props himself on one hand, the other going down to get your skirt about of the way before he realizes how high the waistband was. “You planned this out didn’t you? Coming here? Wearing your skirt this short to turn me on??” He growls in your ear before biting on your earlobe.
“J-Jisung” you moan out. God, you couldn’t wrap your head around the mystery of Han Jisung. He was so wholesome and kind in person but in bed… in bed it felt like a whole different person. Every deity must’ve been by your side this morning because you had no idea he could be nor feel this good. “Tell me princess, how bad do you want me?” he asks, bulge pressing against your wet panties as you arch your back at the touch.
“So bad, please Jisung” you whine, hands leaving his hair to pull down his sweats. You quickly look down, biting your lip at the sight of his cock, a glistening bead of pre-cum covering the tip and you use your thumb to coat his member. The blissful sensation rolls through Jisung, intoxicating him, and he’s fast to make a move as he moves your panties to the side.
You close your eyes, fingers holding a tight grasp on his biceps as he teases you with his fingers. One digit swipes your wetness as he sticks it down your throat, your tongue wrapping around his fingers to get every lick before he could thrust inside of you.
The stretch is painful, and he catches each moan with his lips pressed on yours as he slams his member between your folds. The penetration has you begging for more, bucking your hips against him as he thrusts inside of you. It’s so dangerous, so early in the morning as his hands cup your breasts over your shirt, squeezing one and massaging the other.
Opening your eyes for a mere second you notice the way your fingers start to interlace with his, the feeling of his soft hands reminding you of the handshake when you met just yesterday. Now here you were, the sound of skin slapping and moaning into his kiss as he thrusts start to become messier.
Jisung pulls out of the kiss, whispering a quick “i’m close” before he could suck on your neck. Replying with a small whine, you turn him around, your hands on his chest as you start to bounce on him. Sticking your fingers down your throat, you try to hold back to mewl sounds that were bound to leave your lips unknowing of who could be outside of Jisung’s room.
He throws his head back as he feels his tip hit your g-spot every time, your walls clenching around his member before he could cum inside you. “Shit, sorry” Jisung grunts, quick to pull out before you could reach your orgasm after.
You're coming down from your high when you collapse on top of him, pecking his lips one last time before flopping onto the bed next to him.
Trying to regain your breath, your heart drops a little when you hear a few knocks on the door.
“Jisung, twenty minutes before you leave for your first dayl!” Seungmin reminds him, “I’m coming in with breakfast!!”
“Fuck” Jisung curses underneath his breath, locking eyes with you before he could push you off the bed.
A small thump against the floor is heard before Jisung could eye your skirt on top of his bed, grabbing it and throwing it to you before Seungmin could walk in.
“Jisung!! Where’s your uniform!”
Speaking of uniforms, yours is wrinkly and… a bit wet per-say as you walk side by side with Jisung towards the entrance. You rub the small spot on your head, a bruise forming on it from when you hit your head against Jisung’s nightstand before he could turn you towards him.
“I’m really sorry y/n.. I just knew he was coming and I didn’t know what to do” he pouts. There it is again, Han Jisung. The pain from your head (and your legs) is close to gone when you think about what kind of fuckery made Han Jisung. Is this the same Han Jisung that you met less than thirty minutes ago??
You smile at your thoughts, pressing a kiss on his forehead before replying “It’s alright Jisung, I’ll see you during break?” you ask.
“I’ll meet you right here” he smiles, the two of you parting ways before you could meet up with Claire.
“Oh hey! I know him!!” Claire exclaims, waving at Jisung before you could pull her away. “Trust me Claire, he knows you too”
Jisung stares at his school schedule, looking at the numbers on doors. 1..2..3..4. Room 5 should be just around the corner. Holding onto his backpack strap, he makes his way to the halls before his eyes are covered by a familiar hand.
“W-what are you d-” His mouth is held shut by another hand and before you know it he’s in front of the trash cans.
“Welcome to Beverly Hills High School, Squirrel face” Chan chuckles before Changbin and Minho could toss Jisung into the garbage bin.
The boys give themselves a mini fist bump. “That should teach him” Minho smirks before leaving him at the bottom pits next to… is that a cigarette? Disgusting.
Jisung doesn’t even bother calling for help, lying his head against a trash bag and accepting that this might as well be his fate. He had good sex and now he’s sitting in a trash can like that condom he never used. Maybe this is god telling him to buy condoms, he tells himself.
“Hey, need a little help there?” Jisung’s eyes open wide to see a hand reach out. It’s the boy from earlier, freckles coating his cheeks with the pink-blonde hair. The strong australian accent peaks out his voice as Jisung stares blankly at Felix’s face. I-is he God? God is Australian? No, no. Jisung wake up. WAKE UP.
“Yes! Yes, god please. I mean not god! You’re not god, I-” Felix helps him up, laughing at Jisung’s stuttering before thanking him. “Thank you so much Felix, I was having serious thoughts down there..”
“In the trash can?” Felix chuckles, “Yeah, I felt that man” Felix pats Jisung’s shoulder before helping him down, swiping off the filth that covered Jisung’s coat. “So what exactly happened?”
Jisung removes his coat, placing it around his arm before grabbing his backpack. “These three dudes, I don’t know. One had Blonde hair and brown eyes, the other short with black hair, the other… wearing a leather jacket and a mole on his nose.”
“Ooof, the guy with the mole. That would be my brother” Felix laughs as Jisung pulls back a shocked face. “Seriously?! How??”
“Just is, different dads though” Felix answers, “Maybe this was from yesterday, they’ll get over it dude. Don’t worry, I’ll get you a clean suit”
“Don’t worry” Jisung repeats to himself, taking his bottom lip in between his teeth as he chews on it nervously. The last thing he wanted was to get into drama, but maybe that’s the cost of high school. He just didn’t know it.
When the bell for break rings, you jump out of your desk. Hyunjin waits in front of your class but misses you as you run past him. “Hey! Y/N!” He calls after you, giving up as he sees you running down the hall.
“Bro, what was that about?” Changbin asks Hyunjin, watching down the hall as Claire walks past them.
“Yo Claire, do you have any idea where Y/N is going?”
Claire pouts her lips in thought before replying in an annoyed tone. “She’s going for the front of the school instead of getting Starbucks with me! Not sure why though..”
“Wanna find out?” Chan asks, joining the group as they walk towards the front.
They reach the steps, Claire dropping her Gucci bag as she sees the sight in front of her. “Holy shit, she missed out on Starbucks for him?!”
“Jisung!” You exclaim, jumping into his arms. Jisung’s quick to catch you, kissing your forehead near the bruise making your insides tingle. “I wish I had every class with you” He whispers into your ear.
You don’t realize it, but he’s eyeing Hyunjin when he whispers oh-so seductively into your ear. Hyunjin’s jaw locks at the sight of it, jealousy washing over him. “A dickface” Minho curses.
“Nutshack” Changbin insults, in hopes that it’d make Hyunjin feel better. Grabbing Chan’s hand, Hyunjin pulls his lips close to his ear before whispering- “This Jisung guy isn’t going to let go”
“Then we need to teach y/n who her real friends are” Claire adds, the five of those cross their arms in unison walking away from the scene.
Uh-oh Jisung, do you know what you’re getting yourself into?

——————————————————————————-
Why is picking out sushi ingredients so difficult?
I had the brilliant idea that since it is Felix’s birthday, I would surprise him with a little picnic in the park. Nothing too extravagant but still something special that we can remember for a long time. The various amounts of food I have collected could feed me and the boys for weeks. “Maybe I got too much.” I speak to myself.
After almost a whole hour of picking up and putting back food and drinks I finally left the shop with everything I needed to have this picnic be perfect for the birthday boy who is probably still sleeping in bed. All the boys have been working so hard with the comeback up and coming really soon. Stay’s will definitely not be disappointed.
It doesn’t take too long to get back to the dorm but, honestly I really hope that Felix isn’t awake.
Luckily, only Seungmin, Chan and Minho were awake so I didn’t have to be too secretive. “Y/n? I thought you were coming later.” Chan says as he takes a few bags from my hold. “Yeah, I thought it would be easier just to come here from the store instead of driving the 2 hours from my apartment just to have to drive back over here the second I park.” The distance has been hard lately but Felix and I have been very good at communicating and making sure that we are both in tune and on the same page as one another.
“Do you guys think you can help me set everything up? I'm pretty bad at cooking.” Minho happily swoops in to save the day. “Since I’m the best cook here, I will be the one to help. What is your plan?” As we took out all of the things I bought, I explained what we needed to do.
After about an hour and a half, Minho and I finished making everything and placed it into the basket that I had just sitting around my house with no purpose until now. “We are so good at this. It looks perfect y/n.” I wave off Minho's compliment. “You did most of the work I don't know what you are on about.” He just laughs and closes the basket quickly as a certain someone walks into the kitchen.
My eyes meet Felix's sleepy, semi open ones and a tired smile graces his face. “Baby what are you doing here this early?” I laugh at his statement as he makes his way to bury himself in my arms that opened up for him. “It’s 11 Lix.” “Exactly.” His arms wrap around my middle and mine go around his shoulders both of us squeezing each other.
My hand goes to thread into his hair and I swear he started to fall right back to sleep on my shoulder. I see Chan leading all of the others away from us and into the living room to give us some space. Felix's hands begin rubbing my back while placing little kisses on my neck and shoulder. “Happy birthday Sunshine.” I kiss his temple and try to pull away but he just squeezed me tighter. “Don’t leave yet.”
I let out a little giggle at his words and actions. I move my hands to his shoulders to push his back a little. “I have a surprise for you so you need to go get dressed.” He breathes out a heavy sigh before leaving a sweet but short kiss on my lips then leaves to go change. A few minutes later he comes out wearing jeans and an oversized shirt.
While he was changing I had hopped up on the counter right next to the basket of food Minho and I had prepared. He sees me on the counter and immeadietly comes over to slot himself between my legs going right back into the position we were before. His blonde hair grazing my face as his head nuzzles against my chest.
“Come on Felix, we have a feast waiting for us.” At that he lifts his head to look at me curiously. “A feast? So you?” I gasped and hit his arm. He lets out an adorable laugh at my reaction.
“Felix!”
He kisses my cheek and leans over to basket to our right to try and see inside but I smack his hand away before he could even lift up the flap. “Come on we’re taking my car.” He leans in to give me one last kiss which I dodge just to tease him a little. He gives me a fake hurt look and pouts his beautiful lips which only makes me want to kiss him more. So I did just that.
I pull him towards me and he places his arms on either side of me and happily meets me halfway. Getting lost in each other we failed to hear Changbin clearing his throat as he walked in.
Felix and I pull apart from each other and I carefully slide off the counter with Felix’s hands on my waist to help me not slip. “Sorry Changbin.” I say while grabbing the basket and taking Felix’s hand to go to my car. “No worries. You lovebirds have fun but come back quick so we can all celebrate together.” “Oh don’t worry. I’ll have him back before 2.” He just nods and Felix pulls me away and we walk out the door to my parked car.
We pull up to the park after 15 minutes of driving. I park the car and we then gather everything out of the trunk and walk to a people free area, spread the blanket out and set up all of the food.
“Wow, you and Minho really went all out didn’t you?” I laugh and nod my head. We pulled out the homemade sushi and little bowls for sauces, immeadietly digging in. Felix’s hums in satisfaction. “You and Minho did an amazing job baby.” “Thanks, but honestly Lix it was all Minho.” He lays a hand on my thigh and squeezes. “Oh come on, give yourself some credit. I bet you bought all of this. Thank you for doing this by the way. I know we haven’t been able to hang out and be together as much because of the comeback but I really do appreciate everything you do for me.”
My unoccupied hand goes to cover his and I lean on his shoulder, as we are sitting right next to each other on the blanket that we set out. Felix and I have only been official for about 6 months, but I know I love him with all of my being. I couldn’t tell him that yet though. He has too much going on in his life and he doesn’t need that kind of pressure on him. I can feel his gaze on me so I face my head up at him to kiss right under his chin. “What were you just thinking so hard about.” He questions then takes a sushi into his mouth.
“Nothing for the birthday boy to worry about right now.” He kisses my temple after swallowing his food and then abruptly stands up. Felix holds out his hand for me to take which I hesitantly proceed to do. “What exactly are you doing babe?” I ask sceptically.
He doesn’t answer but takes out his phone and plays a new song they have been working on. “Dance with me?” Once again he holds out his hands and this time I don’t hesitate and happily take his in mine. He spins me around and a giggle escapes my lips. Felix brings me to his chest, his right hand in mine and his left on the small of my back. I rest my head on his shoulder and his cheek is felt leaning on the side of my head. “I love the song. It’s very beautiful.” I whisper, knowing only he can hear me.
“Really? That’s good to know because it’s going on the new album.” The air around us is warm and being in Felix’s arms makes me feel more relaxed then I have been these past few weeks. My spark of sun is what I like to call him. He says he hates it but I know he secretly loves it.
I feel Felix’s hand move up my waist all the way to my face to tilt it towards him and pulls me in for a loving kiss. We both sigh with content at the feeling of being this close to each other again. My hands moved to run through his hair which was silky smooth and I pushed myself up on my toes to deepen the kiss just a little.
We stay like this for only a few more seconds before a little boy from behind us speaks up. “Ew mom look they are kissing!” Felix is the first to pull away and let out a loud laugh. I turn to look behind me and the mother comes up to him to lead him away from us.
She then waves at us,as a way of saying sorry, but Felix was quick to tell her that she had nothing to be sorry about. “Well isn’t that something.” We both let out another laugh and then Felix pulls away completely to start packing all of the dishes and I throw all the trash into the nearest bin. Seeing as we have been here for well over a couple hours just talking and maybe a little make outs here and there, we decide it’s time to go back to the dorms.
As soon as we step through the door we see all the boys surrounding a candle lit cake with the lights off. The happy birthday song is being sung by everyone as Felix comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my shoulder in a back hug. He blew the candles out when everyone finished singing and planted a big kiss on my cheek.
“Thank you for this. I love you guys.” My heart skipped a beat at his words. He wasn’t including me in that right?
The day turned to night and we all migrated to the living room to have a very intense karaoke session. Jisung and Hyunjin were currently singing and dancing to ATEEZ’s ‘Wonderland’ and absolutely smashing it. I was currently situated in between Felix and Chan with Felix’s hand resting on my thigh.
After those 2 went I grabbed Felix’s hand off my thigh and pulled him up off the couch to go next. Everyone begins to hype us up as we pick IDOL by BTS to sing and dance to. “Okay y/n we see your moves!” Seungmin shouts which makes me laugh into the mic. The other boys are joining in behind us and everyone is just feeling pure happiness. Felix then faces me with a huge smile adorning his lips.
“I love you.” His voice echoing through the mic. I immediately freeze and nearly drop the mic in my left hand. “You what?” I whisper out. “I think karaoke night is over for us. Come on guys let's leave these two alone for a second.” Chan's voice goes in one ear and out the other as the only thing I can hear is the pounding of my heart. Felix and I held each other's gaze for I don’t even know how long. He cautiously steps towards me making sure that I am not going to move away from him. Which I could never do.
“I meant what I said y/n. I love you and I have for a while now. That most definitely isn’t the way I wanted it to come out but, you just looked so beautiful and after what you did today for me and just being here with me and the other boys,” He then takes my face in his hands looking lovingly in my eyes. “I don’t regret letting it slip out. I love you.” Without even thinking I glance down at his lips and then back to his eyes. He notices this and leans in until his lips are ghosting over mine.
“You don’t ha-,” I cut him off and finally tell him my true feelings. “ I love you too Felix.” His breath hitches and he closes the gap between us. Our lips mold together and butterflies find their way from my stomach up to my heart.
This isn’t our first kiss but it feels new. With the three little words that were spoken between us it brings a whole new feeling to kiss Felix. The world has stopped and all my senses are solely focused around the man holding me. We pull apart to catch our breath and Felix leaves little kisses on my nose, cheeks and forehead. I laugh as he does this and move my hands to wrap around his wrists. “I love you y/n.” He kisses my lips before he speaks again. “So much.”
We stay like this for a few more seconds before we pull away again. “I love you so much it hurts.” I say dramatically,I grab onto his shirt and lean on him as if I was actually hurt. Felix just rolls his eyes at me trying to hold back a smile, which he didn’t succeed in doing. “Nevermind I take it back.” A laugh rolls off my tongue and I fully stand up and kiss him with all I have which he returns with just as much passion.
“You love me.” I say playfully. Felix looks at me with a sparkle and wraps me in a tight hug. His hands cup under my thighs and lift me up to wrap them around his waist. My arms find their home around his neck and I kiss both his cheeks when he looks up at me. “I truly do love my baby.” With those words he smashes his lips to mine one last time before relocating us to his bedroom.

Goo Goo Eyes

Genre: hogwarts au, enemies to lovers au, fluff, angst
Word Count: 2,391
Warnings: swear words
I rocked back and forth on the balls of my feet for the sixteenth time today. The red sweater I wore felt too tight on me and my stomach felt funny.
"Hey." I turned around to a soft voice to see Chan smiling at me. His hair was parted in the middle and brown roots were peeking out from his blonde hair. It made him look more attractive.
He wore simple black dress pants, a white shirt and nice black dress shoes. I hope he didn't notice me staring as he approached.
"Hey." I fixed my grey cardigan and smiled back at him.
"Do you wanna go to the three broomsticks?" I suggested.
"I'll go wherever with you." He said, dazzling me with a smile.
"Cheesy. I didn't expect you to be the type. Let's go to Madam Paddifoot's." I said, burying my hands in my jean pockets. Both of started walking away from the castle.
"You know if we get caught, I'm blaming you." He teased and I wriggled my nose.
"That's fair. You're paying for my coffee though." I teased him right back.
"Why do you like me?" I asked. Chan turned to me and stopped walking. I hid my face in my hands, silenty asking the ground to open up and swallow me whole.
"What's not to like? You're pretty and really smart. You're also kind, who doesn't think I'm evil. You've helped me so much these past few years, you know? Like when you and Seungmin volunteered for the Yule Ball committe because you didn't want me to be alone." I laughed.
"No one wanted to plan it with you. I had a crush on you back then too, so of course I'd volunteer."
"And you never told me?" He asked, hand ln his chest in a dramatic way. I shook my head.
"I thought I was way out of your league. So instead I admired you from afar." I said with a shrug.
"For the record, you're defenitely not out of my league." He reached for my hand and I took it, a warm feeling in my stomach.
"That's good to know." I said as I walked along the streets of Hogsmeade.
I lead him into a small pink and green shop. I've never been there before, but I've heard good things about it.
"Woah." He said as I opened the door. The smell of sugar hit me at full force, but the thing that caught me off guard was the frilly pink everywhere.
"Have you been here before?" I asked, smiling brightly. He smiled back at me and sat down at a nearby chair.
"Yeah." He said as I sat down in front of him.
"What do you wanna order? There's this really good chamomile tea." He said and I nodded.
"Well, then I'll get that."
As soon as I got my tea and a piece of strawberry cake, I felt the need to eat it all quickly. Except, I resisted since I'm on a date with Chan.
He had a slice of chocolate cake with ice cream and chamomile tea as well. I took a sip of my tea and the doorbell rang, signalling another customer.
I nearly spat my tea out as I saw who it was. No freaking way, I did not see Changbin and half the Quidditch team (Han, Soobin and a few others) sit down at the far corner of the room.
"Are you okay?" I turned to a concerned Chan and I cleared my throut before nodding furiously.
"Yeah. I just...burned myself."
"Drink it carefully, okay? Want a piece of my chocolate cake?" He slid the plate over to me and cut a piece with his fork.
"Say ah." He instructed and butterflies erupted in my stomach.
Han laughed loudly and I turned to him. Changbin was glaring our way, and the butterflies dissapeared.
"Aria?" I turned to see Chan holding his fork out to me. Shoot, I forgot to open my mouth. I opened my mouth and took a bite of cake.
The cake was good. I nodded and tried to focus on my date. Stupid me for feeling this way over Changbin.
"It's really good." I slid the cake back towards him and I cut a piece of my own cake before holding it out to him.
"My turn." I said and he took a bite of my cake.
"That's really good." I smiled and nodded.
"I bet." I said, taking a bite of my own cake.
I set my cup of tea down on the small white plate and smiled brightly at Chan. He seemed to be enjoying the date.
He looked at me intently and smiled. Normally I would have found this cute, but since I haven't been myself lately, something felt off.
I felt like something was off with my feelings.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked out of the blue and my eyes widen. They travelled towards the far corner of the room, to a certain Slytherin who was staring at us.
"Here? Right now? There are a lot of people here." I fiddled with my fingers, feeling my cheeks grow hot.
Out of the corner of my eye, Chan turned around.
"Ah. I get it." He says, turning back to me. He stood up and I widen my eyes.
"What are you doing?" I asked but he just. shakes his head before walking to my side.
"You don't like me, do you?" He asked softly.
"What?"
"I mean, you did at first but then your feelings changed. Don't worry, you'll always be my friend." He leaned forward and kissed my cheek.
"What? Wait, Chan. Don't go." I pleaded.
"Take care of him, yeah?" With that said, he walked out the door. I sighed and put my elbow in the table, laying my cheek against it.
I just let one of the most perfect guys ever leave me in a tea room. What in the world is wrong with me? I should have ignored Changbin and his stupid friends. Why would Changbin even like me? I've been rude to him and bitchy.
"Look what we have here?" I resisted the urge to grab Chan's uneaten cake and throw it at his stupid handsome face.
Wait, did I saw handsome?
"Quit acting." I said
"Here." He shoved a rose in my hand and I curled my lip. How convenient.
"I don't want it." I set it on the table and turned to him. His lips were in a tight line, his eyes set on the rose.
"Sit down and eat Chan's cake. You look pathetic." I snapped, taking the last sip of my tea.
"Look whose talking. Did Chan finally come to his senses and ditch you?" I frowned.
Who the fuck does he think he is insulting me? Here I was, trying to feed his ass and he was being an ungrateful brat.
"I'm leaving." I stood up but he grabbed my wrist.
"I am not paying for your food." He said and I sighed. I sat back down and flagged down a waiter.
"How can I help you, miss?" A cute guy with feckles asked.
"My friend's fork fell. Can I get another one please?" He nodded and ran off God knows where.
I leaned back into my chair, feeling stupid for having feelings for the man in front of me. The waiter came back with a fork and set it down on the table.
"Here you go, Ma'am. My name is Felix if you need anything else." He smiled brightly and I nodded before he walked away.
"Eat the stupid cake quickly. I wanna go home." I snapped, crossing my arms.
"The guy was flirting with you. I'm sure he'll take you." Changbin said, stabbing a piece of cake.
Can I please combust his ass?
"Whatever."
"You're not that ugly." He said and I scoffed.
"Shut the hell up and start eating, unless you want me to eat it for you." He froze and slid the cake towards me.
What the fuck is even happening right now?
"Do it then." He said with a smirk.
"Can I stab you with my fork? Because I freaking will if you don't stop doing whatever you're doing right now." I crossed my arms and leaned back into the chair.
"Fine." He grabbed the cake again and started eating. I ran a hand through my hair, feeling a pang of guilt.
"Felix isn't my type." I said and turned away.
"What?"
"You heard me. He might be really cute with the freckles, but I don't like him. Happy now?" He just turned to his cake and continued eating.
Has he always looked that way? His eyes sparkled, the way Chan's used to. I closed my eyes and when I opened them Changbin was staring at me.
"You already fallen for me, sweetheart?" I grimaced at Changbin's words
"You wish." I turned around, spotting Felix a couple tables down.
"Felix." I waved my hand and he walked towards me.
"Yes, miss?"
"Can you bring the check, please? Oh, and two more slices of chocolate cake in seperate to go boxes?"
"Of course."
"Thanks." I smiled brightly at Felix and he walked off.
"Not your type, huh?" Changbin grimaced in front of me. I sighed through my nose and set money on the table.
"No. I'll pay. Chan should know better." Changbin said. I stood up and walked out of the shop.
For the five hundreth time today, screw me and my feeling. I covered my ears with my beanie and began walking.
"Wait." I groaned and hung my head.
"Will you leave me alone?"
"No."
"I've had a very off day. I was looking forward to my date with Chan, until you ruined it. Thank you for that by the way."
"What?" I sighed.
"What is your problem with me? Chan is a fucking idiot and I am one too for thinking an asshole likes me. All I am is a fucking joke for him and I am sick of it. So, if you don't mind. All I want to do is go to my common room and die." I huffed out and walked away from him.
Over the next few days, I've noticed small things about him. Like the way he scratches his neck when he's nervous or bites his lip when something bothers him. That's why I begun to avoid him.
Whenever I saw him with Chan, I walked the other way. And when I was stuck next to him in DADA, I stayed silent.
"You okay?" I looked up to see Chan staring at me. I ran a hand through my hair.
"Why did you think I like him again?"
"Bin? Because you have a look. Like heart eyes whenever you see him even though you try to mask it as dislike. There's a fine line between love and hate, you know?"
"Heart eyes?" I asked and he nodded. I began walking to my Common room, and he followed.
"Yeah. And when he came back to the dorms, he was grumpier that usual. He yelled at me for an hour. 'Why did you leave her alone.' 'She rejected me a hundred times for you and that's how you pay her?' The usual."
"Wait, wait. When did I reject him?" I asked. He laughed.
"Basically every time you make 'goo goo eyes' at me, his words not mine." He pauses.
"He was really jealous when you gushed over me at practice. He gave you a rose at Madam Paddifoot's. He was super jealous of the freckled waiter too. He even paid for the meal. He likes you."
"No fucking way Chan. Him and I are like water and oil." He frowned.
"Why can't you just admit it?" He asked
"Because we're just too different, Chan." I rounded the corner and he followed. Apparently, he was mad.
'And this conversation is over." I said, turning around and stormed away.
I got all the way to my Common room before sitting down on a table. Seungmin and Minho immediately sat down with me.
"What happened?" Minhi asked and I laughed.
"Why do you two always assume something happened?"
"Because it normally does." Seungmin continued.
"You guys were right. I like Changbin. Now, help me with my Divination homework, please."
I hugged my knees and sniffled. The Quidditch pitch looked small from the Astronomy tower.
"Making goo goo eyes at Chan again?" I heard a voice said and I buried my head on my hands.
"Do you fucking care?"
"No."
"Cut the crap, and tell me what you're doing here."
"Chan send me to apologize for him. He didn't mean to make you mad. He shouldn't have yelled at you." I shrugged.
"Tell him I forgive him." Tears pricked my eyes.
"Eww, don't do that. You look ugly." I let out a laugh. Chan's words suddenly made snese. He doesn't want to see me cry.
"I know. Shut up." I sniffled and hid my head in my hands.
He did give me little bits of affection. He suspended Minha, his own housemate for me. He pretended not to care for me when I got injured. He took the punch meant for Minha.
He dragged me away from the fight and tried convincing me not to go out with Chan. But my dumb ass thought he was mocking me. He gave me a rose, didn't let me leave the table, and paid for the food.
I was pretty sure my dream about Changbin was real. He really did visit me in the infarmary. Screw me and my feelings.
"Quit crying. At least make goo goo eyes at Chan." He pointed to the Quidditch pitch.
He's trying to avoid his feelings. I felt something in the pit of my stomach.
"Are you making goo goo eyes at him now?" I nodded and he turned to me.
"Yeah. But, not at Chan." He smirked and I closed the gap between us.
He hugged my waist and kissed me back. I pulled away and he smiled. I finally wiped that stupid smirk off of him.
"You're very clueless, you know?" He said softly.
"I'm sorry about what happened at Madam's, and for everything else too. I've been trying to ignore my feelings for you, but it doesn't work."
"I forgive you." I smiled brightly and kissed him again.

skz in la » recap
» thank you @channiechanchan @softyhyunjin @blushyunjins @hanchanbin @seungminsmile @hoodiehan @seungmqn @pandaluver189 for making my night memorable ! i really enjoyed spending time/meeting you guys & i honestly wouldn’t trade it for anything else !!!
» let’s begin the member-by-member recap under the cut lmao
lee know
there’s a twitter petition for him Not To Go First during the hi-touch... now I know why because I was literally just gaping at his beauty
he really has no pores + tall nose + long lashes + SOFTEST HANDS? is he even real?
super polite btw, he was courteous and proper towards every fan, but you can tell that he was kinda drained from the performance with little breaks
like ugh, he’s so distracting... because he’s so godly looking/ethereal... you really can’t tell if he’s real or fake
he really tries hard to speak english & it shows his effort; made everyone p emotional during his little speech --- very weird boy, 4-D
han
it’s storytime
my best friend and i picked up confetti strands (long red ones) and wore it around our necks like a graduation stole
for hi-touch, han was after minho, and right as i was taking my last glance at minho and about to hold han’s hand...
he says, “i like your necklace” to me. “yours too” he refers to my friend.
and then i held his hand and said: “thank you, you’re amazing”. and he nods a few times & i just made eye contact with him for a while.... wow
should have pulled a jungkook and said, “hey, i like you.”
he really is the most friendly, conversation-initiating, heartwarming one out of the members + his features (eyes, nose, lips) are truly unparalleled in person
super hype w/ bin during the concert & his malay accent is v cute !!!
promised to read ALL THE LETTERS, so let’s hope
arms
jeongin
sunshine galore: his smile lights up my universe
i remember his smile vividly because he looked so happy to meet everyone, and he held his hand up super high
really big hands + really tall
he works with the platinum blond hair
best enthusiasm award goes to him !
all the members love him and treat him like a baby on stage + i don’t think he has ever stopped smiling throughout the concert
however, a total 180 during the performances and makes you wonder where babie went
felix
he is too pretty up close, but his jaw is so chiseled that it can cut a bitch and draw blood
he’s like minho in the sense that he really doesn’t have pores and you’re just constantly in that perpetual “gaping” stage b/c they’re that good looking
very polite + he thanked everyone for coming
his speech actually made me cry during the concert b/c it was so heartfelt and you can tell how much he means it + how long he’s been waiting to meet Stays
did the woah dance like 100k times but he’s already a living meme
his voice is indeed deep + aussie accent... take me to australia with you.
chan
this man is so good looking that you’d think he’s one of those greek sculptures at the museums in paris
tall nose, deep-set eyes, really nice cupid’s bow + he is definitely on the pale side
i said, “thank you so much for coming here.” and he responded with, “no, thank YOU for coming.”
bruh, no. THANK YOU for coming to my hometown
he’s such a tease tbh, we were done with all the i am you songs & he joked around that the concert was ending when there was still the whole miroh series, smh
you can really tell that he’s Leader of Stray Kids b/c the way he presents himself towards Stays + staff is incredible... he even thanked the people who did sign language
very engaging + he really cares & reads all of our letters--- uses anecdotes + specific examples of Stays who stood out to him
seungmin
“if i was your boyfriend~” was the iconic moment of the LA Show, hands down
he talked about his past in LA & how happy he was to be back b/c a big chunk of it is still his home; otherwise, he wouldn’t have learned english to communicate with Stays (paraphrase)
english perfection btw
very engaging & his voice is cute live hehe (his voice was probably one of the ones that stood out to me)
his smile is so cheeky that you can’t help but smile back, and he likes to acknowledge with a small nod during hi-touch
big hand squad
changbin
this is gonna be long b/c he’s my bias so...
let’s start with his english, “very (x5) strawberry” HE IMPROVED SO MUCH FROM “YELLOW CARDEU” AND “HEATER BANG BANG”
he speaks calmly & enunciates every syllable like he’s been practicing beforehand, uses vocab like “precious” and “passion” and he speaks in near perfect grammar ugh
voice is loud on stage, but soft & nasally when he speaks casually
and then he’s so confident on stage... he had a CD for lunch, i already know + he blows kisses way too much
it’s like when he’s in america, he purposely rolls the sleeves to his t-shirt up to show you what he’s been working on
chan says “bin’s been getting buff lately” and he just flaunts it like no problem. except that IT IS A PROBLEM FOR ME !!!
arms :/
he looks v good on camera & the camera person really did him justice this time
my mouth was :O the entire time because i was so shook, how is it possible for someone to look EVEN BETTER IN PERSON LIKE THAT???
sweat is a look on him. in that Balenciaga shirt. and tie-dye shirt. couldn’t keep my eyes off him
for hi-touch, i said “i love you.” because i blanked & that came into my mind... so why not & HE SEEMS TAKEN BACK AND SAYS WITH A LITTLE SHY SMILE, “thank you.” and we made eye contact and i held his hand and his eyes... a very midnight color with dark eyeliner
very small face but he WIDE
not Too Short, I still had to look up at him... and his hands are very warm
he’s shyer during the person-to-person interactions than on stage imo
first row fans are so blessed because he pretty much acknowledged everyone, very engaging and inclusive towards Stays
woojin
he is a Man.
when i saw him on stage, i thought i was tripping because his features are so chiseled and he is very good looking whether he’s just standing there or smiling
it’s just annoying how he was placed after bin for hi-touch because i momentarily blanked before saying “thank you so much” to him
biggo hands and he’s cali tan; very tall beside changbin, like a skyscraper
his hair was styled so nicely
his english is adorable, and he speaks slowly and clearly & you can tell that he has practiced
no more “i’m fine, thank you. and you?”
he sounds amazing live, his vocals echoed throughout the auditorium
hyunjin
he’s so cute & considerate because he leaned down to hi-touch me... not even subtly... he just bent over to get to my hand
very very very cute in person & he does a little :] eye smile with a polite nod for everyone
funny story: he made my best friend blank and forget her whole spiel, instead, it was “h-hi”
he is really tall & a member of big hand squad --- thank you for lowering to my level for hi-touch, i lack height
he talks about his experience at disneyland when he was younger and how he doesn’t remember much of it, but he’s “adult now” and he will encapsulate all of his new memories in LA made with his family (SKZ) and Stays --- also a paraphrase
someone screamed “you’re babie!” and damn, she’s so right
also, he has amazing pronunciation
» overall, an unforgettable concert experience & post-concert depression starts now.

As The World Burns Around Us, Epilogue
header made by me
Pairing: Reader ft. Taehyung (ft. Stray Kids)
Genre: Apocalypse!AU, Angst, Thriller
Warning: dark themes, violence, gore
Word Count: 2K
Parts can be found in the masterlist under “As The World Burns Around Us”
Summary: You haven’t seen the sun in two years. The Virus wiped out a good three quarters of the world’s population and then the wars that followed wiped out half of that. After everything happened, it was only a matter of time before the different countries started blaming each other and emptied their nuclear arsenals. You’re still surprised Seoul survived – if you can call what it has become “surviving”.
Six Months Later
I miss you, Tae. A piece of me is gone. My heart has shattered and though I tried to put it back together, the pieces won’t fit because one is missing. You’re missing. There will always be a hole in my heart because you aren’t here to fill it.
I wish you were here. I wish I had treasured every day with you. Treasured our friendship. Savored your warmth and the feel of your hugs. Committed the light in your eyes to memory. I wish I had taken advantage of every moment I had with you. In class, or studying, or at the dorms. I wish I could see you smile one more time. I wish I could hear you laugh. The real one. I wish I’d placed more value on every look that crossed your face. I just wish I knew that my time with you was limited.
I wish you could see us now, Tae. I wish you could see how happy Jungkook is. How excited he is to become a father. I wish you were here to meet our baby. To hold them and watch them grow up. To hear them call you uncle. You would have been an amazing uncle. Jungkook really wants to have a girl but I have this feeling it’s going to be a boy. Either way, we’re naming it after you. We want to keep your memory alive. Memory of the old you. The real you.
I hope you’re at peace, Tae. I hope wherever you are that you aren’t suffering anymore. That you aren’t trapped anymore. That you’re free and happy and smiling and laughing like you used to. I miss your laugh, Tae. It was a beautiful sound. You were a beautiful light in my life and I know little Tae will be now.
I’ll never forget you.
The sounds of scraping metal against broken tile echo through the dark lobby as the main door is pushed open slowly from the outside. A blonde head peeks in, wide brown eyes searching the area for any signs of life or danger.
“Hello?” The boy’s voice cuts through the silence, fading down the corridors. No response. “Is anyone here?”
Still nothing.
He pushes the door further open with a grunt and squeezes through the small space he’s created. The barrel of his rifle catches on the frame but he manages to free it, raising it to further scope out the place. Nothing moves in the darkness.
“I think it’s clear,” he calls back toward the door.
A few more grunts and then sounds of clattering fill the lobby and the blonde boy lets out an exasperated sigh as he turns back around to find two of his mates stumbling in.
“Honestly,” he grumbles. “How have any of you survived this long with how much racket you make?”
“Because our fearless leader takes such good care of us,” the youngest says and pulls the hood of his jacket back off his red hair. His dark eyes shine with seemingly perpetual amusement.
The third turns in a slow circle, his brown eyes scanning the darkened lobby. “What kind of place is this, anyway?” he asks, his voice deeper than anyone would expect from someone with such delicate features.
“Some kind of big company,” the leader responds. He steps over a pile of wood and metal, remnants of a lobby chair it seems, as he makes his way over to a dirt coated plaque on the wall. He uses his sleeve to wipe the dust away and squints in the dim light coming in now through the cracked front door. “Bang Pharmaceuticals,” he reads. “Some type of lab, then.”
“Think the place is deserted?” the youngest asks, palming his handgun nervously.
Again, the leader looks around in thought. “Well, it’s quiet down here but the place is huge. It would probably be best if we split up and each take a floor.”
A crash at the entrance has the three about jumping out of their skin, guns trained on the front door as it jerks open further.
“What’s taking you guys so long?” a black haired boy asks as he steps inside.
“Geez, Changbin, I about pissed myself,” the leader growls.
“I bet Jeongin actually did.”
The youngest hits the other on the arm hard. “Shut up, Felix,” he whines. “That was one time. You would have too if you were surrounded by a pack of those frikin mutant goats.”
“Seriously though, Chan,” Changbin interrupts. “Seungmin and Hyunjin are bickering like an old married couple and Jisung and Minho are laying on the ground and I’m pretty sure they’re asleep. Are we checking this place out or not?”
“Where’s Woojin?” Jeongin asks noticing the boy’s name has been left out.
“Don’t worry,” a familiar voice calls from over Changbin’s shoulder. “I’m dying of boredom out here too.
Chan furrows his brow, eyes shifting back to Changbin’s own. “You do realize we’ve been in here for literally two minutes, right?”
The black haired boy shrugs. “You should know better than to leave a bunch of guys with short attention spans unattended for longer than ten seconds.”
“They aren’t unattended,” Chan says. “You are supposed to be keeping the peace.”
Changbin straightens up as he steps further into the lobby, Woojin trailing behind him looking around curiously. “Hey, I’ve got the shortest one of all of them.”
“He did just kick the door in,” Felix chimes in and Chan throws him a look.
“Alright,” the leader says at last. “This is some sort of lab. It’s a big building but I think if we split up and search each floor quickly, we can get out of here before it starts to rain again.”
This time the door flies all the way open, slamming against the inside wall as the rest of Chan’s crew comes piling into the lobby, everyone shaking acid rain from their clothes.
“I think it’s too late for that,” Felix says.
“Ah, it went down my shirt!” Jisung cries out as he reaches back and grasps at his shoulder blades. “That’s gonna leave a mark.”
“Maybe we could have gotten in here faster if you weren’t laying on top of me,” Minho says swiping his sleeve at a splatter on his cheek.
Jisung pokes the older boy’s stomach. “It’s not my fault your belly makes for a soft pillow.”
“Are you calling me fat?”
“And another thing—” this time it’s Seungmin’s voice that rises above the rest and Chan turns his attention to the boy apparently continuing that argument he was having outside with Hyunjin that Changbin mentioned. “—if I ever catch you going through my candy stash again, you can bet you’ll be waking up one morning with the barrel of my shotgun shoved up—”
“Seungmin,” Chan cuts him off and the boy meets his eyes. “Later maybe?”
“Right, sorry,” Seungmin says shifting from one foot to the other before shooting a glance back at Hyunjin. “We aren’t done.”
Hyunjin’s mouth lifts in a smirk as he hefts his crossbow higher on his shoulder. “Right, right,” he says then looks to Chan. “So what’s the plan, boss?”
Just then, the soft click of a latch comes from far down one of the hallways branching off the lobby and the air is filled with the sounds of rustling metal as six guns, a machete, a crossbow and a manual bow are brandished at the ready. Chan peers past the sight of his rifle, eyes straining through the darkness, searching for whatever it was that made that noise. The only sounds are those of the others’ shaky breathing and his own startled heartbeat pounding in his ears.
The nine of them have been together now for over a year—or at least it’s felt like that long to Chan since no one really knows what day it is anymore. The world has been frozen in time since the bombs hit, it seems. A group of nine is unheard of now so most of the time, they’re left alone. There have been a few run-ins with hostiles but only because Chan and the others had been caught off guard. The fact that they could outnumber pretty much any band of raiders is the only thing that has kept them alive so far. Chan was still in high school when this all went down and being the second oldest and the leader isn’t easy. Sure, they’ve gotten better at defending themselves, at surviving, but mostly they still all rely heavily on each other. After all, they’re just a bunch of kids.
“Sh-should someone go check that out?” Minho asks, his fingers making the taut string of his bow creak as they tremble.
Chan lowers his rifle and worries his bottom lip between his teeth. As their leader, it should be him, right? He draws in a deep breath and turns to face the others. “You guys stay here and wait for me to give the all clear. I’ll be right back.”
“Let me go with you,” Jeongin says stepping forward. A couple of the others release quiet chuckles.
“Look at our boy growing up, ready to face the monsters hiding under his bed.”
“Shut up, Seungmin,” Jeongin snaps. “I didn’t hear you volunteer.”
One corner of Chan’s mouth twitches upward when the youngest meets his eyes again. The boy’s own are filled with determination and something else. Fear? Of course, but more, it seems, the desire to make his leader proud of him. And Chan is. Jeongin has really been stepping up more, trying to prove that though he’s the youngest, he’s not weak.
“Just stick close, alright?” Chan asks and Jeongin gives a sharp nod. “Bin and Woojin, flank us for cover, the rest of you stay put and try not to hurt yourselves.”
Changbin hefts his machete in his hand and starts after Chan and Jeongin, Woojin following behind giving a stern look to the other five.
“Hey, I’m not the one arguing like a toddler,” Felix utters crossing his arms over his chest.
Chan ignores that remark, leading the smaller party toward the hallway. He can sense when Changbin and Woojin fall behind, staying closer to the beginning, eyes darting between the doors lining each side, weapons at the ready in case one were to open. Jeongin is still right behind him though, which he’s grateful for. He understood the hesitation in the others in wanting to volunteer to go with him. It’s one thing to be roaming around in the daylight, but too many things can be hiding in the dark. You never know if someone or something is just an arm’s length away, watching you, waiting to pounce.
“Hello?” Chan says, his voice much too quiet to travel very far down the corridor. “Anyone there?”
He and Jeongin continue on, guns following their line of sight, swinging to each side with every locked door they check and pass. Until at last, they come to the end of the hallway. A wooden door with “Janitor” written on a faded brass plaque. Nothing.
“Every door is locked,” Jeongin says.
“I swear I heard something,” Chan responds turning again, his eyes sweeping the hall one more time. Changbin and Woojin are just shadows standing at the other end.
“Well?” Changbin calls.
“Nothing!” Chan yells back and starts toward them again. “Maybe it was a pipe or something.”
Jeongin makes a strange sound behind him, telling him that couldn’t have been what they heard. But there’s no other explanation. Well, none other than someone else being there as well. Either way, the four make it back to the lobby.
“Any luck?” Felix asks once they’re all together again.
“Nah,” Chan says. “Let’s just do what we came to do and get out of here.” Then he starts pairing everyone off to search the different floors.
Of course, with all their arguing and being loud, they don’t notice someone was in fact watching them from deep within that darkened hallway. They don’t notice the soft click as a door to the stairwell re-opens a centimeter, a pair of dark eyes settling back on the group. The mouth below curling upward into a smile that never quite reaches those eyes.
