I dusted off my Silhouette machine (literally…) to make some Decals To Go On Things!

First up, the Gokaiger logo, which is going on the external hard drive where we store all of our Totally Legally Obtained toku show video files.

I hope it sticks, since the surface is textured. Backup plan is to use the same design as a stencil and have my husband paint the logo on with his airbrush.

Next up is the Decade logo to go on the base of a Decade figure (which was also painted with the airbrush).

Decade is coming with us to PowerMorphicon in a couple weeks (!!) so that we can have the other side of the base signed by Masahiro Inoue (!!!)

Finally, I put the Ex-Aid logo on our neon-pink-and-green Joycons.

Technically it’s just on the green one for now. I cut out two copies but it didn’t quite fit on the other side. I’m not sure what I’ll end up doing on the pink one..it’s already as small as I can make it and still be able to get all the details right.

So I made merch of him. I love this sad bread. I know fuck all about him but the brainrot said to make him in a day so here you go.

Frogging the too big sock so I can start again...

Frogging is sad (because you have to undo something you've spent a lot of time on) but also kind of satisfying because you can be destructive for a good reason. Also I really like the balls of yarns that form when you roll up yarn like that. They look pretty and cosy in my opinion. Even more handmade! They're also fun to knit with. Unfortunately I don't have a knitting bowl, because a round ball like that would sit in it perfectly.

Today's good news:

*I probably start back at work on Friday (all things going smoothly).

*I've discovered that grating cold butter makes scone baking easier than using the food processor. Maybe I'll do it more often.

Double glazed orange scones:
