About Video :
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving technique used in emergencies when someone's heartbeat or breathing has stopped. It involves chest compressions and rescue breaths to maintain circulation and oxygen flow to vital organs until professional help arrives. Key steps include checking responsiveness, calling emergency services, performing chest compressions at a rate of 100-120 per minute and a depth of 2 inches for adults, and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) if available. Immediate CPR can double or triple survival chances.
Questions Addressed :
What are the key steps in performing CPR on an adult?
How does the technique for CPR differ between adults, children, and infants?
When should you perform hands-only CPR instead of traditional CPR with rescue breaths?
How do you check for responsiveness and breathing before starting CPR?
What is the recommended compression depth and rate for effective chest compressions?
How do you use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) during CPR?
What are the potential risks or complications associated with performing CPR?

Okay, I read this and have never related to anything more in my life. I'm glad OP is living a more happy (While still depressed, I felt that sugar) Mature life, Id like to add my own opinion into this if I may.
While the original post was from 3 years ago over an Instagram Harry Potter influencer Starbucks drink, and some poor sap thinking that the drink was good but turns out the recipe was bad on itself, Iâd like to add to this in my own opinion based on what I have read in this post.
If you, or anyone you know tries to make this sorta thing without the knowledge of how Starbucks or that specific Job/industry works, please don't try to post something you think is good for others to try, when in reality itâs just a waist of time or money.
$10 for a syrup-filled drink isn't something I'd be willing to pay for as a customer tbh. That alone is a hell no for me. I'd rather pay for 2 tall boba drinks with jelly boba that's $15 than a coffee-filled syrup mess.
This is like, if a person being depressed tried to talk to someone based on how their feeling depressed, and that person ends up saying âThan just don't be depressedâ or âJust be happyâ is like an ultimate slap to the face to the person who just tried to get comfort and or help before it got to the point of Self harm or Suicide.
Now, I worked in daycare as both a teacher's Aid, and as a Teacher, and I know that if someone, who has never worked with children, or even has children, let alone babysat kids, tries to tell me how to do something a certain way, even if I've already tried that or know it won't work, would ultimately piss me off to no end, especially if they kept pushing that thing onto me.
Ultimately what I'm saying is, if you know a drink that's simple to make that others would enjoy, post and share it! There's no harm in it, but if you're trying to make something like what OP had said in their post 3 years ago over an Influencers post on a cute Starbucks-themed drink who may or may not have zero knowledge of how the hell Starbucks even works, then please, save everybody some time and effort and don't post that shit for others to try. It's like tempting a toddler to eat a bag full of Typods by leaving it out and opened for them to reach.
If you wanted to make your own theme with a full âhow-to-doâ step-by-step on the making and receiving process, you also gotta have if not at least different types of milk options as everything you use depends on a personal taste.
Say person A likes their drinks sweet, but person B doesn't. Say they both saw it and make it like the recipe says by said influencer. While Person A likes it and it fits their pallet, Peraon B might be lactose and ends up in a form of pain bc and or in the bathroom bc of how sweet it is along with the milk. And anyone who can't drink actual milk, myself included, knows that even just a glass of that shit can make you run for the hills very quickly if you don't use a different type of milk like Almond or 2% Milk.
Its better to have different options for different types of recipes, and yes I know that not a lotta people are willing to go the extra step and try this out with different things, and just wanna make it once and call it a day, yet honestly I find those influencers who do that to be amazing and who actually care about people who might have those issues and wants everybody to enjoy what they created and to have fun.
And yes I have made my own version of a Starbucks drink before and yes it was on the cheaper side and no I have never worked at a Starbucks before but here is something I used to drink before buying the stuff got a little expensive. You can find it at Walmart if you're in the U.S. but for other countries you can use whatever doesn't harm ya or make you bloated.
Get a glass or cup (I prefer my mason jar with a steal straw bc save the turtles).
Either get caramel syrup, chocolate, or whatever you use or none at all, and squirt it into the cup before spinning it around to create a fancy-looking pattern before maybe, if your like me and like the caramel ribbons in the straw, put some at the bottom of the cup to your liking.
You can fill it with crushed or solid ice, doesn't matter bc its gonna be cold anyhow.
Pour in whatever milk you wanna use, this can also be used for creamer and or a froth-like base that you can blend or use that spinny tool for that's overpriced but creates foam anyhow so who cares.
Next, your coffee, I usually use Delight Iced Coffee liquid coffee, but if you have more time than I do, use whatever normal coffee you use and pour that shit into whatever amount you wanna use as doing measurements variables on person to person. I personally just measure until it gets a little high before stopping.
Next, whipped cream. I usually use a lot but just enough to go over the rim of the cup but again, use as much or as little as you like.
Finally, add your syrup or nonsyrup to the whipped cream, and boom. Straw time.
ok enough is enough. whichever one of you virgins invented instagram starbucks recipes, die 1000 deaths. I had a customer come in today holding out their phone (full brightness) and looking all shy and Im immediately like đ fine ok, what does the instagram user want me to make for them this time. well this time it's a cringe harry potter themed frappucino. excuse me??? "can you make this for me?" I said excuse me??? -- I mean *customer service voice* "yeah it looks like I have all the ingredients, haha sure!"
ok cringe instagram harry potter frappucino drinker. ok. die. "Ive never had this drink before" yeah I can tell due to the fact that it didnt exist until someone posted a #aesthetic photo of it to instagram 14 hours ago ok. ok,
but whatever, Im paid to put up with this shit. so I add the ingredients all up on my computer and congrats! ur harry potter cringe social media drink has $10 worth of syrup in it. are you happy??? is this what you wanted??? a $10 frappucino??? $10. for a drink. you doubled the price of this drink for ur off-brand "harry potter and the legend of the overpriced starbucks drink" drink. you doubled the price!!! is this how u imagined spending ur day? is this what u wanted to do when u woke up this morning? $10 for a 24oz drink?
and u know, you KNOW the influencer making this recipe doesn't even work at a starbucks cause when it was all said and done the drink looked like shit. my blender was straining against the weight of your sins (and syrups) and Im sweating, Im an animal, Im losing my mind and my blender is getting watered down frappucino syrups everywhere -- u put so much shit liquid in this blender it doesnt even fit in the cup btw. it's making a huge mess. but is it instagramable? no, its fucking ugly. #trending #foryoupage #cringe $10 harold potter drink for adult children,
so are you happy? is ur social media influencer bestie happy? I made ur stupid $10 drink for u. does it taste good? no? well I hope instagram shuts down tomorrow. I hope you read a different book. I hope I never get sober. there is no sign of land. I hope you die. I hope we both die.
#opinion#Starbucks coffee that influencers made#why was that shit $10 and most of it was just syrup? how much is the syrup??#this is probably dumb#but it made me think#of all the times while working daycare that I was told something#by another person who knew nothing about the job#and thought it was okay to criticize me for doing my job that I was trained to do#50 hours of classes on safety care and CPR online and in-office classes#and your telling me how to calm an infant down?#bro.#please do and I say this with as much respect as I can#fuck off#do what makes you happy#yet don't fuck over some worker's day bc you decided to create an unrealistic drink#Shit#for all you know that worker has been getting verbally abused by idiots all week/month#and some soul decided to ask for this and they get yelled at that they made it wrong and why doesn't it look like the picture?#well chap#it's called editing photos and creating an unrealistic item#good day I said my peace and I hope OP is doing better now and I hope their pillow is always cold at night#Dead

Since I saw people loved baby MK so much I present you even baby-er MK with Demon loređđâ¨
When really really strong demons have children, depending on the methods, one of them is always left weak after the birth. This is why it's encouraged and integrated into their instincts to procreate with strong partners, because after the birth it's not just the infant who needs help but also the birther who loses most of their magic/ki/energy in the process
This is where the strong partner comes into play, they are responsible for taking care of the infant for the time being as the other parent recuperates. Being demons it's already wired into their brains to be protective of what's theirs, now add in a baby, boom you got a cocktail of a very protective and powerful demon. Which leads to the emperor of all realms having an infant wrapped to his chest during all of its infancy.
Not only is it instinct, but also a show of power to show off your offspring to everyone and anyone knowing full well that no one could be a threat to them.
Meanwhile, the other parent is in bed rest for the majority of the child's infancy, since there is still a connection between them and the child, and the child continues to feed off of them, magic wise.
They slowly gain their powers as the child leaves infancy.
The stronger the child the longer the infancy stage lasts as their newborn body accommodates the large amount of magic flow within them.
This leaves the parent vulnerable, unless they have a strong partner with them.
Also, I know this might not be the shadowpeach kiss you all might have wanted but Magic CPRâ¨:
Because of the constant loss of magic via feeding the child, the mother is weak for a long period of time and to combat this the partner can share their energy with them (this only works if the partner has a stronger energy level than the other,, it'll do no good for both parents to be weak)
Not many magics are compatible with each other, so sharing magic is always tricky business, but it's possible between parents since one of them has been growing a life form with the other's magic and is used to it.
Boom! Magic CPRâ¨

The Essential Partnership: Baby Night Nurse and Lactation Consultant
Navigating the first year of parenthood can be an exciting roller-coaster ride. New parents experience unparalleled joy, along with some natural challenges. To help ease this journey, professional help, such as a baby night nurse and a lactation consultant, can provide invaluable support.
Defining the Role of a Baby Night Nurse
A baby night nurse, also known as a newborn care specialist, provides care for newborn babies during the night. This includes feeding, diaper changes, bathing, and assisting with establishing sleep routines. The benefits of having a baby night nurse are profound. They enable new parents to catch up on much-needed rest, reduce the stress of nighttime care, and offer knowledgeable advice on baby care. The aim is to support parents and make the transition into parenthood as smooth as possible.
Understanding the Role of a Lactation Consultant
A lactation consultant, on the other hand, is a certified professional who helps mothers with breastfeeding. They offer guidance, teach techniques, and provide solutions to common breastfeeding problems such as latching difficulties, painful nursing, or low milk supply. They play an essential role in successful breastfeeding, which is not only beneficial to the baby's health but also strengthens the mother-child bond.
The Symbiotic Relationship Between Baby Night Nurses and Lactation Consultants
While a baby night nurse and a lactation consultant have distinct roles, they complement each other perfectly when it comes to comprehensive newborn care. The baby night nurse ensures the baby's routine is well-managed and the parents are rested, while the lactation consultant focuses on optimizing the breastfeeding experience.
This professional duo can collaborate effectively, ensuring that feeding difficulties are promptly identified and addressed. Their teamwork reduces stress for the parents, providing a safety net of support that promotes the well-being of both mother and baby.
Choosing the Right Lactation Consultant and Baby Night Nurse
Choosing the right professional support is crucial to ensure your baby's first year goes as smoothly as possible. When selecting a baby night nurse service, look for agencies with highly trained and certified professionals who can adapt to your family's unique needs.
Similarly, when looking for a lactation consultant, it is essential to ensure they are certified by a reputable organization, such as the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE). An experienced lactation consultant who can understand and cater to your specific breastfeeding challenges will make a significant difference in your breastfeeding journey.
Remember, it's not only about their credentials but also about their approach. Both professionals should exhibit a caring, patient, and understanding demeanor. You should feel comfortable asking questions and seeking help, creating a trusting relationship for optimal care.
Conclusion
The first year of your baby's life is filled with beautiful milestones and some challenges. With the right support, these challenges can be managed effectively, allowing you to enjoy the joys of parenthood fully. The tandem of a baby night nurse and a lactation consultant can be your pillar of strength during this time, providing comprehensive care for your newborn and invaluable support for you. This essential partnership can truly be a game-changer, making the first year of parenthood a rewarding and memorable journey.
Remember, seeking help is not a sign of weakness; it's about ensuring you and your baby have the best care and support during a significant period of your lives. Embrace the assistance of these professionals and cherish the beautiful journey of parenthood.

Baby Thoughts
Prompt: You never really thought about having children with your boyfriend, until a situation brings it up.
Mentions of OD Death, baby neglect.
"Look. I'm just a small fish in a big pond. I'm not the one selling that stuff, Julie is," the jittery man across the interrogation table explained to you and McGee. The both of you had been pulling as much information as you could out of him in correlation with your investigation in the death of a Marine but he wasn't much help.
"Alright. Well where can we find Julie?" McGee asked, writing everything down in a pad.
"She's been staying in the Independence hotel on 5th. Room 36. That's the last place I saw her."
Satisfied with a lead, as small as it was, you stood with McGee and exited the room, joining the rest of the team in the squad room.
"Got an address boss," McGee updated.
Jethro got up from his seat, grabbing his coffee and began walking towards the elevators while giving orders.
"DiNozzo, Torres, you two go see if the nearby gas station has any security footage of our Marine's murder, McGee, you're with me and Y/N."
Both you and Tim raced to your desks to retrieve your weapons and then to the elevators before Jethro shut the doors.
- - - -
You sat shotgun as Jethro drove to the address, pulling up to a rundown looking Motel. It wasn't in the greatest neighborhood and you were already dealing with a suspected drug deal gone bad, so you were on high alert. The three of you got out, surveilling your surroundings before heading to Room 36. The distant sound of a baby crying could be heard from inside the room as Jethro knocked loudly.
"Julie Oscrow, NCIS!"
There was no answer so Jethro knocked again as McGee checked the windows.
"Can't see anything boss."
A knot formed in your stomach as Jethro pulled his gun out, you and McGee following suit as he opened the door. Once you entered the room, you noticed two things immediately. The terrible smell that entered your nose and the sight of a woman on the floor, foam pooling from her mouth.
"Y/N, call it in," Jethro ordered before rushing over to her and preforming CPR.
Holstering your weapon, you pulled your phone out and dialed for EMS as McGee cleared the rest of the hotel room. It wasn't long before Jethro stopped, knowing that she was past saving, you putting a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Hey boss, we got a problem," McGee announced from the bedroom. You both made your way over and saw what he was referring to.
Sitting in a makeshift playpen made from a couple of large boxes was a baby no more than two years old, crying their heart out. Jethro wasted no time in taking care of the situation, picking them up and patting their back, while shushing gently. You just stared as he swayed with the infant who began calming down and wiping their tear streaked face.
"McGee, call Ducky and Jimmy, let them know we have a body," he spoke while motioning you over. You walked over as he handed you the baby, who had begun crying again.
"Hold him for a second while I make a bottle."
You didn't have any skill in handling babies but tried your best to mimic Jethro's actions from before and were thoroughly surprised when it worked immediately. Jethro gave you a small smile, moving your hand so it supported his neck.
"You're a natural, Y/N."
You just chuckled nervously and watched him rummage in the diaper bag that was on the bed, pulling out a bottle and a little packet before heading back into the other room and filling it with water. You looked at the little baby in your arms, his onesie stained with drool and God knows what else and couldn't help but feel a weird pull in your heart. You felt a instinctual need to protect him and keep him close to you. Part of you didn't even want to give him back to Jethro once the bottle was ready which you felt he sensed.
"Here, hold him like this," he instructed, positioning the baby in your arms. He began eating vigorously once the nipple reached his mouth, as his little hands clutched onto yours. You enjoyed the endearing moment and didn't miss the look of love Jethro gave you before going over to help McGee canvas the crime scene.
- - - -
You sat in the back of the ambulance, still holding the now sleeping baby in your arms, wrapped in a thin blanket. Jethro had changed his diaper and dressed him in something less dirty before EMS arrived and gave him a once over. You volunteered to stay with the baby while you waited for Child Services to arrive as McGee and the rest of the team investigated the crime scene. Jethro was finishing up a phone call before he came to join you in the ambulance, sitting down beside you and pressing a kiss to the side of your head.
"You'd make a great mother, you know," he whispered, making you smile.
"You think so?"
"I do."
You thought about the question that had been bugging you the last half hour and finally decided to just ask it.
"Would you have a baby with me Jethro?"
You could see the hesitation in his eyes, memories of his past family most likely surfacing as he took a breath before speaking.
"I would be lying if I said I haven't thought about it. I couldn't see myself having one with no one else but you. But we can talk about that later."
You accepted his vague answer, actually getting more out of him than you thought you have and rested your head on his shoulder.
"Plus, I'd want you to be my wife before that and this is not how I planned on asking," he added.
You whipped your head up to look at him and he chuckled, giving you a quick kiss on the lips and getting up.
"Child Services should be here any minute. I'm going to finish up with the team, come join us when you're done."
You nodded, smile still etched on your face from his previous comment and watched him leave. Looking back down at the little boy in your arms, you whispered a small thanks. Even thought his circumstances were unfortunate, you couldn't help but be grateful to the progress in your relationship he caused.

Oliverâs night was normal, until it wasnât. He and Dinah had been patrolling Star City, and everything had been quiet. That is until he heard a cry for help. Oliver landed in the alleyway, in front of a dirty, injured teen. She was wearing a black shirt that was sticky with blood, and dark blue jeans with red splotches. More blood. His eyes were drawn to the bundle in her arms. A newborn baby.
âWhatâ?â He took a step forward, but stopped when the teen whimpered.
âPlease,â Her voice was barely above a whisper. âPlease help us⌠help him.â
He barely made it in time to catch the teen as her legs gave out. He protected her head and kept her arms steady with the small bundle in them. She coughed blood, her voice rasping.
âHis⌠name⌠is⌠Danny.â Her voice was barely coming out as a whisper in the end.
âStay with me.â Oliver said as he reached for his phone.
He started calling for an ambulance, but she was very pale from the blood loss. The teenâs head dropped to the side and she stopped breathing, her arms going slack.
âShit.â He moved the infant carefully to the ground and put his fingers against her neck, feeling for a pulse. âShit, shit. â
Dinahâs voice crackled to life in his ear, but he ignored it as he started CPR. One⌠two⌠breath in⌠after ten minutes, the teen hadnât moved an inch. She was dead, he knew that with certainty. The paramedics took over, and he grabbed the small bundle that the teen had been carrying. A newborn boy named Danny. Something in him broke as he looked into the babyâs blue eyes. He couldnât give the baby up. He knew he couldnât adopt every kid that strayed into his path, but this little boy had nothing. Based on the trauma from the teen (mother?) he didnât think she left from a good situation. The alternative was foster care or CPS. well⌠looked like he had a son now.

After the flood, The Batman uses his grappling hook and other gadgets to expertly maneuver his way to sections of the city that are inaccessible.
He canât rescue victims on his own because the hook can only carry so much weight so he lights flares on the roofs of buildings where people are trapped and two flares if someone needs immediate medical attention.
He relays more information through Gordon about how many people there are, whether or not theyâre accessible by boat or helicopter. A paramedic team provides him with a walkie talkie and rudimentary first aid training, only to learn that The Batman is already an expert in EMT protocol and how to provide CPR for over twenty minutes if necessary.
The only people he can safely evacuate himself are small children. (The âsafetyâ is still shaky, but the Bat refuses to leave children behind. The paramedics hesitantly provide him with child and infant evacuation harnesses in hopes theyâll help.) Some kids donât want to leave their parents so The Batman waits for up to an hour to make sure theyâre rescued. Other childrenâs parents refuse to trust the masked vigilante with their childâs safety. He accepts that but makes sure to let the paramedics know this one is also priority.
But some desperate parents, especially those with newborns, have no choice but to trust him if it means their children get medical attention sooner. He has blank hospital bands and a few pens with him so the parents can write down their name, birth date, allergies, an emergency contact outside of the city, etc. As long as theyâre lighter than 90 lbs, he has no doubt heâll be able to bring their child to safety.
The orphanage takes two days to evacuate, and many of the staff and kids are apprehensive of him at first, but by the afternoon, The Batman has helped twenty kids to safety and found a safe landing spot on the building for a helicopter to fly. The hospital was, of course, also a priority, and The Batman evacuated many patients there, but it was thankfully up to date on evacuation protocol and took just under a day.
He rescues cats and small dogs and a pet lizard at one point too, all with their own hospital band with the ownerâs info or wherever they were found scrawled on it. The Batman performs CPR on drowning victims, most of whom he was too late to save, but he does it anyway, over and over and over and over again.
He learns that kids are more likely to trust him if he carries stickers and lollipops to help calm them down. It feels manipulative the first few times he does it. He also wonders if he should bring something healthier, but he doesnât have enough pockets, and the kids and parents weirdly trust him more when he asks what their favorite flavor is. (It also helps when he finds a few diabetics suffering from low blood sugar.)
By the end of his fifth day, The Batman has several stickers on his suit that he canât bear to take off because the kids smile more when they see them. Somehow, he finds room in one pocket to fit a stuffed dog for the kids that are afraid of heights but need to be evacuated as soon as possible.
His cape makes for a good emergency shock blanket. He coaches many survivors through panic attacks and grief-stricken anxiety attacks. He tells them how to breathe and asks them to count down from 12 with him.
At one point, a kid asks for his name. The Batâs never had to answer that question to someone that isnât a criminal. Heâs not vengeance anymore. Thatâs behind him. Heâs just a guy in a gothic, bat-themed suit of armor. That name GCPD gave him, The Batman, comes to mind. He never really gave himself that. âThe Batmanâ is too formal and ominous for a child anyway. He thinks for a moment then says heâs âBatman.â

Ways members of class 1a would fail their simulated field triage/first aid exam in 2nd year according to me:
Bakugo: got impatient and moved a victim with a spine injury w/o immobilizing
Izuku: panicked, placed the tourniquet below the bleed instead of above then cried bc his fake patient died
Ochako: brilliant, she actually passed
Shoto: didnât check the scene was safe, incapacitated by falling debris before reaching the victim
Kaminari: short-circuited the AED battery with his quirk
Sero: misplaced a chest shield seal and tried to seal the remainder with his tape
Momo: misplaced her gloves, made new ones with her quirk, but they were latex and not nitrile causing an allergic reaction
Tsuyu: did fine until transport then bloodborne pathogen exposure bc she picked up a victim with her tongue
Mineta: groped the victim
Hagakure: scared parents by beginning CPR on infant without announcing her presence first
Shinso: calmed victim with brainwashing instead of psych first aid
Tokoyami: triaged someone as dead when they were not dead
Jiro: relented and removed a tourniquet when victim screamed in her ear
Koda: triaged greens as reds bc he was overly worried
Kirishima: got too enthusiastic about packing a wound and blocked the airway with gauze
Mina: got distracted singing Another One Bites the Dust and gave ineffective CPR
Shoji: splinted the wrong limb
Ojiro: accidentally ripped a warming blanket in half and forgot to put a new one on shock victim
Iida: tried to decon a shrapnel/hazmat victim before applying first aid measures
Sato: forgot to use a CPR barrier mask when performing mouth to mouth
Aoyoma: distracted by his reflection, used an adult triage algorithm for a peds victim
