The future king and queen. I bet they'll be friends
I think these three would have an interesting sibling-like dynamic.
Lorena, Aurelia, and Fred

Blaine saying he’s “Ok down here” at the end of 170 means SO much because he’s always wanted to be at the top, that was his whole obsession. He always wanted to be at the very top and was scared of falling to the bottom the most, but now, him saying he’s “ok down here” … oh it has so much meaning
#that line has layers of meaning and i love it#truly shows GROWTH#happy he’s finally let go of that obsession#cursed princess club#blaine cpc#cpc spoilers#episode 170#just a thought

Things that I sorta predicted for the CPC:
Princess Aurelia biting the Plaid King and causing him immense pain.
The spitting at him part was a bonus
Prince Blaine redeeming himself and showing he does care about Frederick.
Though actually I actually thought it would be Frederick to cause the ultimate take down and have a tremendous fall. But I guess Prince Blaine works too.
Bonus points it was nice to see Prince Frederick getting praised like this. Especially from someone as sour as this character.

Remember that time when Frederick ate Gwen's cooking for the first time?
So, Frederick almost immediately passed out. I'm thing about writing an au where Blaine/Leland managed to spike the soup with a love potion to get Frederick to cooperate, some time before Gwen served it. It had side effects like drowsiness, so that's why Frederick went into a food coma instantaneously. The potion doesn't actually taste like anything, but the feelings of peace he got whole eating the soup was the potion. Of course, it would have still been the best soup he ever tasted and packed with love without the love potion, but the nirvana feeling was the potion taking effect.
Anyways, so Frederick falls asleep on Gwen, and when he wakes up, under the potion's influence, he becomes infatuated with Gwen. He wants to be around her, and he loves her and all that jazz.
Everyone thinks they're adorable and all the stuff, but it's eventually ruined when they and/or Frederick find out about the love potion (maybe Leland told Frederick in the dungeon, maybe it was Blaine, maybe it was a doctor after the fact, maybe it was a CPC member (Syrah) noticing something seemed wrong).
Now, I feel like this love potion would have some serious bad consequences for Frederick, but I'm still deciding on the exact consequences.
1: simply the fact that it is a love potion
This one is pretty simple. Frederick learns it was because of a love potion and has a minor existential crisis about how his love was out of a bottle and all that stuff, possibly how he's a bad person for not liking Gwen without a potion. He gets comforted by the CPC, a long LONG apology from whoever did it, all's well that ends well (I like the idea of a scene where they get a witch/doctor to undo the potion effects and literally nothing changes because frederick just liked Gwen anyways lol)
2: obsession
The potion made frederick's feelings for Gwen slowly develop into something that wasn't love. It slowly focused his mind on one thing, Gwen. Frederick didn't just get over all the sharp edges of his personality, because that's not how trauma works. They were just repressed because Gwen wouldn't like them. The magic slowly ate away at Frederick's mins until Gwen was the only thing left. If you want to get really angsty, this actually ends up happening, Syrah only noticing in the late stages, and only confronting him way to late. After a good few years, he ends up making a full recovery at the CPC, finding the things that make him Frederick, bonding with others, and generally remaking his identity from scratch. Even so, sometimes, when he comes across Gwen making sweets in the club kitchen, or chatting with another CPC member, and Frederick looks into her eyes, he feels it again. He can feel himself slipping away...
3: addiction
Essentially, Frederick comes to love Gwen for who she is, and that's genuine, but the love potion makes him love her more like a drug. At first it's fine. In his room, he decides he wants to see her again. Oh, he's carrying a llama in the sun to see her? Well, he just.. really wants to see her. Frederick loves her after all. But why is his head spinning in that dungeon while he can't see her? Well, uh, he just feels bad for calling her ugly! That's it! He'll be FiNe without Gwen. Needless to say, it turns out he's not. The CPC helps him recover, and he tries not to see Gwen very much anymore.
Gwen feels very, very bad for options 2 and 3, so Frederick ends up trying to comfort her at some point, which activates the effects of his potion/curse. Curtis ends up being the messenger between the two, especially in option 3 when talking with Gwen over Curtis is like cocaine light to ween him off of the actual cocaine that is Gwen
#cursed princess club#cpc au#idk#i just reread that scene#thought that scene looked less like love and more like drugged soup#and i thought#“how skrewed up wouod it be if someone actually drugged the soup”#and it built from there

When I read this chapter and Prez started monologing i was thinking," Are we gonna see kid Blaine and like something about inner child. And he can talk to himself and realize that he doesn't want to fight people to get to the top or something. And then he apologizes for all the terrible things he did. And then a redemption arc. And then he joins the CPC and probably get some therapy. " Idk just a thoughts.
