National Photography Month and another favorite photo from the last 25 years.
Day 8 - Cowboy riding into the sunset in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming on April 22, 2005. A client called me needing photos of a silhouetted cowboy riding into the sunset for a marketing campaign. I talked one of my best friends into saddling his horse and helping me and luckily we got a great sunset.

Did Mags choose the cowboy life or did the cowboy life choose him (how did he become a cowboy)
thank you for the ask!
because mags is still taking shape in my brain i'm definitely coming up with all this shit on the fly--so its also subject to change LOL
but i'm thinking overall, a little bit of column a, a little bit of column b. mostly column a. i think he's always been a bit of a nomadic/loner type; just because being born a seraphim is kind of hm. weird. being around humans is a bit awkward for him because of the entire assumption that he is a Deadass uppercase Seraphim of God who is sent to perform miracles or save them from their problems... but he's a lowercase seraphim--more akin to a tiefling where he has seraphic heritage and traits, but isn't like yknow. Bound by god or capable of doing the type of things people would ask of him. so he's always found it easier to isolate himself; never seeing a point in trying to hide what he is because like. it really doesn't mean that much to him he just hates the assumptions other people have about him.
becoming a cowboy in itself was probably unintentional, but he definitely enjoys it. other cowboys he's met tend to judge him less or want nothing to do with him which he fucks with, and their fashion is on point to him (he really loves spurs and cowboy hats, though it definitely took him time to figure out how to wear hats without his face-wings knocking it off of his head). so he sort of evolved ecclectically into a cowboy, but pretty much any rouge off the beaten trail would've become his style probably lol.

National Photography Month and another favorite photo from the last 25 years.
Day 6 - Image from a photo shoot for Corral West on September 5, 2007. I had many fun photo shoots for Corral West. The shoots were all on location at ranches around Cheyenne. I would scout locations and brainstorm concepts with the marketing team at Corral West. They allowed me to be very creative and bring my western lifestyle into the photos. These shoots were a big production, I would have a trailer full of photography gear, generators for my strobes, and a horse trailer full of horses for our models. We also included fancy new cars, motorcycles, old ranch pickups, ATVs, and even a Hereford Bull in a few photos.
