Episode 1

-we get it your in love now stop dramatically fighting in the rain and kiss!

-I love how they all fear they´ll loose Murayama but let´s be honest he´s more interested in riding Cobra than motorcycles.

-Jamuo reminds me of the road runner in that scenario just getting the fuck outta there and running like the rent is due

-Also Tsukasa my guy,i love you,but what the fuck are you wearing you look like the teddy bear mascot of a bowling alley.

-“You´re going to be eaten alive by them.“Yeah he said that with so much confidence he got flowers for the funeral already.I love how Tsukasa thinks of the Todoroki faction as if they´re some horror movies escaped monsters,let´s be honest that´s Yasushi´s job.

-Whole day stakes is one of the greatest things Oya came up with and i would´ve loved to know how the full timers would´ve reacted finding their little game.

-love how Yasushi is a lazy prick who doesn´t wanna go upstairs and in the movies they´re chilling on the roof every fucking day.

-Fujio´s just vacationing and can´t shut up to save his life so it´s the usual

-Yasushi´s a drama queen who loves a great entrace as if he´s a supervillain.

-the look in Tsukasas face when he sees Yasushi is hilarious.You can see his hope for a „Oya normal“ kinda quiet time,dying.He rather have a serial killer sitting there then Yasushi.

-The two of them have a fruity past or are related with each other and like rival cousins (that´s real.I got like three of them I would be ready to throw hands with each one on sight.)

-Kiyoshi sometimes walks as if his nuts hurt man.

-Todoroki is the human equivalent of a chill pill

-I love Shibaman and Tsuji acting as bodyguarts even tho it´s not necessary at all.

-Seki is Murayama´s personal cheerleader and that´s so adorable

-Yasushi,Kiyoshi and Tsukasa are from the same area?Yeah the mental ward.

Episode 3

-It´s so crazy to hear Yasushi speak,in a normal voice,not scream

-Nobody can defeat Fujio,he´s wicked fast.Whatever.You mean the guy that´s the equivalent to a golden retriver puppy?

-Yasushi kicked this man so hard down the roof I thought there comes a cartoon explosion noise.Let´s be honest he throws hands like an inmate already might as well catch a charge for attempted murder too.

-The totally normal conversation between the homies:“You´re amazing!“„You know that?“„I know that.“Okay Yasu-Kiyo get married.Right now.Off you go.You´re nearly as bad as Fujio and Tsukasa.

-Also at this point Yasushi´s itching for a jail sentence.Sweetheart what is you doin?!That´s how you end on the 5 o´clock news as the bad guy!

-Tsukasa quitting after 2 minutes of stress without emotional support Fujio.Same

-Todoroki vs. Yasushi the battle of the drama queens extravagant

-Todoroki only gave them the leadership cause he needed a break to finish his book in peace

-Yasu-Kiyo.exe stopped working.Hit over the heads and try again.

-Kiyoshi you total sweethearted dumbass.No.Just no.That happens when your brain let´s your dick take over you sexually frustraded pastry head. -Poor Fujio.Someone wrap this man in a fluffy blanket and get the emergency Tsukasa.

-Where the fuck´s Yasushi when you need him anyways?!Like dude your future husband is getting stabbed.

-Crazy Bastards?Nah.Horny Bastards.Totally.

Doraemon Vol. 20 from The Complete Works of Fujiko F. Fujio

Here we are, the last volume in this series! It essentially contains miscellaneous Doraemon stories that weren't included in the other volumes. The original publication dates for these span a range of 1974–1984, but most of them were published in 1974–1976. They generally debuted in magazines that only ran a handful of Doraemon stories.

Among them is a 1974 spin-off series featuring Dorami taking care of Nobita's identical-looking distant relative, Nobitaro, first published in the magazine Shogakukan BOOK (later called Shogakusei BOOK). Most of the stories in this series were later included in Doraemon compilation books, with Nobitaro rewritten to be Nobita and some of the supporting characters redrawn as the regular Doraemon cast. The Complete Works collection includes both the original and redrawn versions of these stories.

Another little-known set of materials reprinted in this volume were made for a recurring special feature published in Shogaku Yonensei (the Shogakukan educational magazine for fourth graders) between 1975–1976. Called "ドラとバケルともうひとつ" ("Doraemon, Bakeru, and One Other Thing"), it consisted of content featuring characters from Doraemon and Bakeru-kun, such as short stories from both series (including the crossover "What am I for Momotarō?", collected in volume 5 of the Complete Works series) and activities for the reader, as well as some original manga unrelated to either work. "ドラえもん大事典" ("The Doraemon Encyclopedia"), a short explainer of how Doraemon's body functions, his backstory, and life in the 22nd Century, was first published as part of this special feature.

Some other entries in this volume that I consider noteworthy (based on my personal experience and biases):

"のび太の恐竜" ("Nobita's Dinosaur", 1975): Nobita digs up a plesiosaur egg that he revives using Doraemon's Time Cloth. This is the original, short version of this story, which would later be expanded into the first of the Doraemon Long Stories series as well as the first Doraemon movie.

"ゆうれい城へ引っこし" ("Moving to a Haunted Castle", 1976): Doraemon learns that castles are being sold in Germany for affordable prices and suggests to Nobita's family that they can buy one. However, the castle they end up viewing is rumored to be haunted.

"ラジコン大海戦" ("Remote-controlled Naval Battle", 1976): To teach Suneo a lesson, Nobita and Doraemon shrink themselves and hijack his remote-controlled ship. Suneo rings his older cousin (who made the ship) for help, and his cousin decides that the solution is to literally torpedo the ship with Nobita and Doraemon on it...

"ドラえもん誕生" ("The Birth of Doraemon", 1978): A fictionalized retelling of how Fujiko F. Fujio came up with the idea for Doraemon. This story later partly inspired the 1995 short film 2112: The Birth of Doraemon, though the main bulk of that film focused on Doraemon's in-universe origins.

"ドラえもんとドラミちゃん" ("Doraemon and Dorami", 1979): Doraemon and Dorami both try to help Nobita get time alone with Shizuka, but end up getting in each other's way. By original publication order, this story marked the first appearance of Dekisugi.

"ドンジャラ村のホイ" ("Hoi of Donjara Village", 1984): Nobita and Doraemon help a village of Lilliputians find a new home.

At long last, I've read every regular-length story from the Doraemon manga. That means that you are finally free from my tiresome posting of Doraemon content, right? Haha, no. I still need to (re)read the Doraemon Long Stories, for one...

CHAPTER 1 (Part 1):

The streets of Druma-Ikka were crowded with people from every SWORD and Toarushi area. Why wouldn't that be the case? After all, it was the biggest festival held in three years since the fight with the Iurme group. While some were enjoying the celebration with their families, friends, and children, others were gathered in the Gambling Den to place bets. Amidst the bustling activity on the street, people could be heard laughing and chatting happily around the food, games, and souvenir vendor stalls. Cobra, Naomi, Yamato, Dan, Chiharu, and Tetsu make their way down the temple street. Naomi and Yamato were holding hands as they glanced around excitedly. Their 3-year anniversary was around the corner. " What stall did you say your cousin sister is putting up?" Dan questioned, turning to face Chiharu, as Tettsu snapped photographs with his phone. "It's a painting stall." Tettsu responded before Chiharu could, without losing his concentration on shooting photographs. "How long has it been for you since you've met her?" Naomi asks, her gaze drawn to Chiharu, who stands alongside her. " It's been ten years. The last time I saw her was at Grandpa's funeral." Chiharu says, overwhelmed with nostalgic melancholy. "First I am going to yell at her for not telling me that she was back a month ago and then strangle her in a hug." Chiharu adds with determination, causing the rest of the group to laugh and shake their heads in amazement at how quickly his mood changes.

Rocky, Koo, Kaito, and Kizzy, who was holding her boyfriend's arms, all made their way to the temple and paid their respects. "Hyuga and Daruma Babies don't really disappoint with the scale of festivals." Kaito says with a small smirk, assisting Kizzy as they all descend the staircase. " Indeed. Living up to their famous saying. Right, Rocky-san?" Kizzy says with a big smile, looking at Rocky, who sighs and rolls his eyes. He so wanted to leave this instant hadn't he been tricked into coming here by Kizzy.

Murayama, Furuya, and Seki had parked their bikes and dismounted with big smiles on their faces. " Haven't been here in a long time! Ja! Let's enjoy ourselves to the fullest!" Murayama yells out fist in the air as Furuya and Seki nod all extremely excited. Murayama fixes his all-time jacket as the three move inside among the crowds towards the vendors.

Fujio, Shinya, Masaya, Seiji, Arata, and Madoka were all joyfully eating ramen at the diner stall Yuki had set up. "Fujio-san! Fancy seeing you here" a familiar voice from behind. It was none other than the smiling faces of Sachio, Odajima, Jinkawa, Shida, and Shoji of Housen. " Oh! Good to see you all! Welcome! Please have a seat." Fujio exclaimed smiling wide as the five of them dragged the chairs and sat down at the same table. "Where is Todoroki?" Odajima asked looking for his friend as he devoured his noodles. "He went out with Shibaman and Tsuji not long ago to buy something for his younger sister. He finally took her since she was whining to buy something." Shinya said as he picked up the fried chicken his girlfriend Madoka had placed on his plate. "Have you met his younger sister? She is quite adorable! Total opposite of Doroki!" Fujio said gleefully, causing the rest of the group to gaze at him blankly. " Cute, yes. But opposite of Todoroki? Are you kidding!?" Masaya voiced in disbelief as everyone shook their heads in agreement. Todoroki's younger sister was as quiet as him, but she concealed her mischievousness extremely effectively. To the point where it terrified all of the older boys who knew her. She simply knew where and how to use her cuteness. "Oi! You are all just saying things. She is very lovely! Whenever I greet her, she responds so sweetly. She also smiles more frequently than Doroki." Fujio said mouth stuffed with food. "She's like that to only you and you only." Shinya scoffs "She is, in some ways, the polar opposite of Todoroki. I'll acknowledge it." Odajima says, scooping up the chicken to eat. 

"Why didn't Yui come with you all?" Madoka asked as she looked for her friend but noticed she wasn't with her brother and boyfriend. " Yui has been preoccupied with the project work she has been doing with this organisation called HOPE. She was so tired today that she just fell asleep when she got home." Shoji, her lover, spoke proudly while also being concerned for his girlfriend. Suchio, who overheard Shoji talking about his sister so affectionately, snorted, "At least she's doing some decent work. I almost thought I'd have to feed her for the rest of my life." Suchio muttered, sipping his coke, as Shoji stared at him for disparaging his girlfriend. Suchio was extremely proud of his sister. He had noticed a significant change in Yui since she began working for this organisation, and it was certainly a sight to see Yui carry herself with such vitality. Madoka was aware of Yui's involvement with the organisation. Madoka even asked her if she could volunteer to play clarinet and teach when she was in town every weekend. Yui assured her she'd ask the founder and co-founder about it and get back to her. "HOPE? I think I've heard about it." Seiji tried to recall where he had heard of it. "Aren't you working for it, Arata?" Shinya questioned while glancing at him. "Yes, I have been working as a chef. I, together with a few other chefs, prepare food in large quantities. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is mostly for orphanages, small schools, and individuals in need of food. I have breakfast duty and alternate days dinner duty." Arata stated while sipping his coke."Plus they pay well so it solves my problems as well." Arata smiled as the rest of the group smiled at him. Everyone was aware of his mother's cancer diagnosis. Despite the fact that they all contributed to her treatment, by which she recovered. Two months back his mother had relapsed and was admitted to the hospital. While working menial jobs that didn't pay much he was filled with despair when he saw a pamphlet on the street that was looking for a chef for an organization. When he arrived, he was received nicely, and the founder and co-founder gave him instructions and explained the organization's goal. Arata was delighted to be a part of it and began working for them right away."Where are Jamuo, Yasushi, Kiyoshi, Nakagoshi and Nakaoka?"Jinkawa asked munching on his food. "Jamuo and the rest are somewhere here looking around." Tsukasa remarks, setting down his chopsticks after finishing his meal."No wonder it is so peaceful." Shida mumbles, but they all hear it and break into fits of laughter. Soon, their table was filled with smiles and laughter as they chatted with one another.

Hyuga on the other hand was still in his deep sleep as Shu Kato was overlooking the Gambling Den while Sakyo and a few of the other Durma Babies were lying outside the shrine waiting for their leader to wake up. The rest of the members were either blended into the crowd making sure everything was in order while the others were preparing for the highlight of the festival i.e. fireworks under the supervision of Ukyo.

Great news! I have uncovered another Cousin concept design!

About a year back, I was browsing the King’s Book when I found this lanky little Fujio with no facial hair! Look at him!

I uploaded it to Fujio’s page, thinking this would be the only early Cousin art available…

A year later, I am looking for a scan of Game Developer Magazine December 2004 (which is currently unavailable in full), which included a Katamari Damacy Postmortem. While I didn’t find a FULL scan, I did find two PDFs of the Katamari Damacy Postmortem and Uncanny Valley articles! And while reading the about the Uncanny Valley, look who I found!

The Katamari Damacy Postmortem included two new pieces of concept art.

The first image shows animal and human concept designs which heavily resemble some of the other concept art displayed at Keita Takahashi’s Zooming Out. The second image shows some detail on the houses in Katamari Damacy. For more info on the archival of this magazine, please click below.

If you are interested in a text-only version of the Katamari Damacy Postmortem, it is viewable on Robin Hunicke’s blog archive here. (Please note that I do not support Robin Hunicke due to her workplace abuse allegations.) Unfortunately, the GD magazine has not been archived in full, contrary to what the people behind Game Developer’s Conference Vault have stated. The Kitsuens are a long line of people who have been brought fortune by kudagitsune familiars. The majority of the comically large family lives in a huge house in order to remain close to the family guardian, the massive smoky fox that lives in the chimney.

Grandchildren:

Daishirou is a folklorist who is very enthusiastic in his studies. Since his family lives alongside a type of yokai, he is eager to explore, scour old records and find out what else out there is really true, and how they compare to the legends. His fox lives in the bamboo tube that is traditional to keep a kudagitsune in, because every group needs a control.

Fujio is in a position where he doesn’t really need to work, but has a job as a bartender anyway, because it’s something to do and a way to see interesting things happen. He likes to consider himself a cool beauty, but he’s actually pretty easy to irritate and make lose that cool. Especially if you’re Tamae. His fox lives in a water bottle.

Tamae believes that there’s no point in having money if you aren’t using it to have a good time, so she does. She spends most of her time drinking, smoking, partying, and tussling with her friends/whatever other rabble rousers may show up. All of that said, she’s fairly friendly (if intense) by default, and doesn’t aim to cause trouble, it just kind of happens when she and her equally rowdy friends go overboard. Her fox lives in her metal pipe.

Asagi is an artist who works with a lot of mediums, and mixes them together to results that a lot of people don’t “get”, which frustrates her. She comes across as pretentious sometimes, but has a lot of respect for anyone with a passion for their craft. She’s siblings with Fujio, and her fox lives in a paint tube, though sometimes switches tubes to change color.

Ganji is, as you could probably guess, a massive otaku. He’s a happy, friendly guy who fuckin loves anime, and he loves to express this through cosplay. He’s *really good at cosplay.* Like, he often becomes unrecognizable, and he makes a lot of his costumes and props himself. (Though sometimes Asagi helps with the props, he is one of the cousins she gets along with best). His fox lives in a mascara tube.

Kanna is in the unfortunate position of having a particularly disagreeable fox with a drive to prove herself better than others, and of course, she can’t feel superior without a perfect human partner, so she pushes Kanna to be better than others as well- Or at least act the part of a rich ice princess. Kanna is a massive pushover, and goes along with what the fox wants because it’s easier… But she’s also just. Really bad at being mean and condescending, so it isn’t terribly effective. The fox lives in a flute.

Roi has the disease called Being a Teenager, and is taking all the wrong lessons from being related to Tamae. He’s got a lot of aggression about pretty much nothing and likes to feel tough. Unfortunately for him, and probably fortunately for everyone else, he’s not very strong and kind of a coward. His fox lives in a Pringles can.

Kinuka is Ganji’s sister, and just as big an anime fan. In fact, it inspired her to try to become an idol, and lucky for her, she lives in a setting where we don’t have to address the horrors of the industry, so she acts as the Dog idol in a Momotaro-themed idol group. She isn’t often recognized outside of it. She and Ganji get along really well. Her fox lives in a chapstick tube.

Takatsu is not a blood relative, and has no fox. His mom married Enari’s mom a couple years back. Enari and her mom have been presences in his life since he was a child, and he loves them both a lot… But he’s really just some guy who is now embroiled in the weirder parts of this family of wealthy, magic eccentrics, and it’s a little much for him sometimes. Still, he wants to try and get along with them the best he can.

Enari probably makes the first impression of a rich braggart who’ll probably turn out to be a total brat, but really, her bragging is less out of pride in her family’s money and more out of love for the members of the family… It can still get annoying sometimes, though. Her fox is an unusually large, doughy, barely sapient thing that lives in a tube sock, and she loves him So Much. She will not tolerate anyone being mean to him.

Seimei… Is a strange case. Daishiro just showed up with a baby one day, and it turned out that his hopeless romantic humanfucker fox took human form and got with a rando who helped her out of a jam, then felt like she had to run away when it came to light that she wasn’t human. Seimei is her kid.

Seimei is a quiet, enigmatic, concerningly powerful child who is only getting more so while hanging around Daishiro and sometimes following him on his expeditions. She seems to be able to speak to animals, know where things are that she shouldn’t, see things most people can’t, and often brings creatures into the house. Though I guess that last one is more of a general little kid thing.

Eun-jeong speaks fluent Korean because he's Korean-American (born in America) and his grandparents couldn't speak English so he had to speak Korean to them. Also speaks Mandarin because a lot of the people he grew up around spoke Mandarin but he doesn't speak it super fluently, he's still trying to learn a lot. Most of the Mandarin he knows is conversational Mandarin and then the words he needed to know to take peoples orders and stuff around a restaurant.

Liam knows Latin cus he used to be an altar boy who wanted to be a priest. Ironic? I know. He continued learning more Latin outside what you need to know for Church because he was curious so now he speaks semi-fluently (because Latin is a dead language and I don't think you can speak completely fluently but I could be wrong?) He also knows Greek because he's a big mythology nerd.

Ayaka's family is Japanese so she can speak Japanese. Her father would literally kill her if she was too 'Americanised' to speak Japanese since he already thinks America has been a terrible influence on her. Her mother tried to get her to learn Chinese when she was younger so she knows some but she didn't continue with that so she doesn't speak fluently. She knows some Korean because she's a K-pop fan but she doesn't speak fluently. She is trying to learn though.

Ryuu is Japanese so he speaks fluent Japanese but, unlike Ayaka, he speaks a different Japanese dialect! He was born in Aomori! If the two of them spoke to each other, Ayaka would kind of understand him but not perfectly. He's trying to learn the Tokyo (standard) dialect. He also speaks really good Korean. He can read Chinese but he sucks at inflections (the tones that go up and down in Chinese) so he doesn't speak it well

Actually, Fujio was born in America so doesn't speak a lick of Japanese. Got roped by his brother into 'learning their heritage' so he's learning Japanese from Ryuu and from the really kind director of the orphanage they lived in. Coincidentally, both Ryuu and the director are from Aomori, in Japan, so the Japanese he's learning is that same dialect. Doesn't know that dialects exist so Tokyo dialect? The fuck is that? Unfortunate when he finds out LOL

Ryouta was also born in America. Way better than his brother at picking up languages (and he puts more time into it) so he's more fluent in Japanese than his brother! Knows both the Aomori dialect and the Tokyo dialect and is trying to learn both at the same time! Wants to learn Chinese next but only because he wants to play more video games.

Soren's born in America but his entire family is from various parts of Maharashtra, in India, so he speaks fluent Marathi (his grandparents would kill him otherwise, probably). He also speaks fluent Hindi. He also speaks Konkani, another language from Maharashtra, because of some cousins but he doesn't speak it fluently enough. Lastly, he's diligently learning Japanese, Chinese and Spanish because that's where a majority of his band's fanbase is and Soren is nothing if not a dedicated leader.

Yeong-bae was born in Korea so he speaks fluent Korean. He was born in Busan so he grew up speaking the dialect from around there but he can also speak the Seoul (standard) dialect. His father is half-Rwandan, half-English so he also knows some Ikinyarwanda and Swahili from when his father would come back home and teach his children some things from his travels.
