#lots of fashion and sewing of course but other crafts as well #i think a lot about how marinette made that box that she keeps the miraculous box in #the giant sewing box with a secret drawer that can only be accessed through by inputting a code into hidden buttons #like. that's a whole ass device w mechanisms and everything. girl is an all around DIY queen #buggachatter

the other thing about being disabled in academia is everyone is like "yeah we can't do much about the buildings they're old :/" as if "old" being a synonym for "inaccessible" isn't just a constant reminder that the people who built the school did not imagine that someday someone like me might study there

#mod felix #obviously there's some stuff that's way more accessible with like. electricity. like. i can get to the second floor. for example #but like. it's still possible to have. for example. ramps. if you as a culture value disabled people and their work #i miss when i was at a school where 'these are old buildings' meant 'these buildings were built for cows instead of people'#rather than 'these buildings were built for students just not students like you'#and of course this is another one that applies to many marginalized groups and like. many groups more than disabled people #in the sense that like. my school was also built to explicitly exclude people of color. for example #but i speak from my own experience and my own experience is characterized by ableism more than anything else #but like . again if you read this and you're like 'this feels like it applies to me in ways unrelated to disability'#well it probably does.

It is okay to need pain medication to function with your chronic pain. It is okay. I promise. I know everywhere you turn pain medication is demonized. I know that it is scary to talk about. It is okay to be grateful that you have access to pain medication. Pain meds have greatly improved my quality of life and I wouldn't be able to live my life outside of my bed without them. And that's okay!!!

#of course i wish i didn't have to take meds to function #but I'm so grateful they exist and I have access to them!#I am able to live much fuller life #they are one of my pain management tools and they have made my life better #chronic pain #of course this is not everyone else's experience #and that is okay too #there is space for both sides of the conversation #I just feel like this side is very often left out #pain medication #meds tw

#polls #video games #RPGs #game polls #video game polls #games #for a final boss i think 3-5 is pretty good #it of course depends on a lot of factors even if we're assuming an rpg with typical action combat #it depends on the overall gameplay and feel of the game and how boss fights were structured #with kh3 for example i expected the final boss to be hard #because it's a high combat action fantast rpg #and xehanort is proceeded by a lovely boss rush #and the main battle itself is a gorgeous setpiece #but i expected it not to be TOO hard cause the story bosses are meant to be accessible and it does have difficulty scaling #when you get into soulsborne or bullet hell or other precision fights tho it's gonna be a lot higher #so I'd say largely it depends #but 3-5 is my comfort range
