Fun fact: The Baudelaire kids were able to respect Count Olaf's she/her pronouns when he pretended to be a secretary named Shirley and tried to steal their fortune and attempt not to misgender Count Olaf's androgynous assistant, and Lemony Snicket acknowledges that presentation ≠ gender in reference to Carmelita Spats of all people. I really enjoyed Neil Patrick Harris as The Toymaker in the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Special!

Then, it got me thinking... Neil Patrick Harris plays a lot a musically inclined villains, doesn't he? I can name four just off the top of my head:
