So, he hits him with a wrench he had in his pocket and then called an ambulance after.

It worked. He doesn't return to Freddy's. Well, no choice when you get amnesia and forget about your father and his obsessions.

He gets helped and live his life without any Freddy's and suffering.

Meanwhile, future Michael deals with the dead.
