Something something while realistically I dont think theyd have kids, at least not as bishops, I do think it would be interesting as a hypothetical

That being said hes not... the most responsible parent.. being the god of chaos, order and routine seem foreign to him

Definitely receives guidance from his siblings to help make things run more smoothly, you sometimes spend afternoons with your uncles and aunts

Will have someone killed if you tell him theyve wronged you.. or vaguely annoyed you..he'd do the same tbh

Shes incredibly firm with you but I wouldn't say shes suffocating or overly strict- she just wants you to be respectable and have thick skin

Will not tolerate anyone throwing bullshit your way, they never get the chance to finish their sentence before they're killed

You get her temper and attitude, and shes proud that you're able to stand up for yourself

Protective of you to a degree but wants you to fight your own battles if possible, steps in when you're in over your head

SHAMURA

Might spoil you more than Leshy does, you have so many jewels and pretty things in your possession

A very proud parent, always showing you off to his followers and siblings- will talk about your milestones to his siblings! "Oh they said their first words they're so smart!" "Oh they made a drawing they're so talented!" "Oh they killed their first cultist they're so strong!"

But he is a bit.. of a worrier... if hes not around he has one of his disciples keeping an eye on you to make sure you're not in trouble- though this only applies when you're off the cults grounds

Ooouuugh soft at the idea that he puts on a brave face when hes terrified in the inside so you can still count on him

A firm parent like their sibling, they have some experience from taking care of their siblings! This is not their first rodeo!

You're about to be so knowledgeable on various pieces of history and other information, some cultists may come to you for wisdom if shamura isnt available

Definitely the best fighter out of your hypothetical cousins, to the surprise of no one given your parent is the god of war

little bit of rambling about these two under the cut

wanted to explore shamura's venom here! a remnant of their godhood, they are able to measure out enough to paralyze their poor lamb as they would their prey (not like ramzi doesn't enjoy it, it loves these types of games) what they neglect to mention is that in high enough quantities it also serves as an aphrodisiac! poor ramzi, in heat and full of venom, and he can't even move his arms to help himself

shamura takes a lot of pride in this, ramzi is their prized toy after all!

The official COTL account just hinted at Shamura X the goat as an official ship, you draw the goat really often so I was wondering about your opinion

(tbh I think your goat and your Shamura would go really well together out of most AU’s I’ve seen they both have this really cool/creepy vibe about them I think it works well, a lot of AU’s make the goat a little to silly for it to make sense IMO)

I think it makes for a fun contrast if goats character is silly and Shamura is a bit more serious, makes for a fun dynamic.

I like the ship but i don't think i'll use it in the au.

The Lamb as Odysseus.

I think lamb is perfect to picture the change of character ody experience, at first they have a pure heart, merciful! But with time and pain the old lamb dies and the ruthless monster is born.

(Fun fact this is more in line with my headcanons for goat but is time to let lamb shine🔥)

The Goat as Polites.

A bit ooc for my goat but I think it's ok, despite them being a little shit I think they are very reassuring and caring for lamb. Funky little goat 🔥🔥

There is a line in Polyphemus song that goes "I take from you like you took from me" and that's so leshy coded... Idk I headcanons leshy like a big chaotic beast yes but also like the actual legend of leshy, specifically the ones where he's more of a neutral god that coexist with humans but kills them if they take too much from nature. Also bro get blinded too

Heket as Circe

I love a strong woman that only cares about protecting the people she loves the most, I think Circe is the perfect choice

Also Circe allures men in her palace, cooks for them and then she transforms them into food basically haha is funny in my head.

Kalamar as Poseidon

Before you tell me "but he's pathetic! " yes he is and Poseidon is as well!

I like it to be an escalation of confidence to cowardness. He starts all angry and at the end he's crying in the shower.

Do you think Shamura is fluffy? Could you write them letting the reader cuddle into them while they read?

Why yes I do think they've got at least a little fuzz!!

Notes: reader is gn, bishop shamura, short post, yippie

They're not fluffy but they do have some fuzz going on! There's some patches where they have more and others where they have less!

They're more than willing to let you snuggle into them as they read or work on their scrolls, you can stay for as long as you'd like

The size difference is enough that they could easily carry you in their hands, makes things easier when they need to get up and do something really quick... not that they would, they don't want to disturb you!

Their breathing is so so soothing too, steady and even. Controlled. The rhythm of it combined with their heartbeat has you sinking deeper against their fluff and making you fall asleep

They periodically check on you to make sure you don't need anything or that them working isn't bothering you

If you don't fall asleep, feel free to ask them questions! If it's not anything that needs to remain a secret, they're more than willing to explain some of the topics to you!
