Yoinking this from the pretty boy posts for the other fandoms I've written for but its just simplified to them being called pretty

Very similar to kallamar in the fact that he already thinks hes attractive

"You're not too bad yourself," as the eye of the green crown hyper focuses on you

Will ask you for specifics though- only as a joke, really, to try to fluster you and get you to stumble over your words

It becomes clear hes teasing you as he let's his laughs escape his mouth as you try to articulate your thoughts into words

HEKET

She pauses for a moment before agreeing with you

Affection isnt exactly her strong suit, both giving and receiving- though she does make an attempt to show that she heard you and appreciates your words

Huffs under her breath if you buckle under the words she sends your way in return, not an annoyed huff.. more like a barely contained chuckle

You can dish it but you cant take it, but it make you all the more endearing to her- pathetic, sure, but like in a wet soggy blanket kind of way/lh

KALLAMAR

Anxiety or not, hes a little full of himself- you telling him that you think hes pretty is like stating a fact, in his eyes

Though he still appreciates you for taking the time out of your day to tell him that

It lingers in his head for a few hours, keeping up with his iksfe to other followers is a bit of a challenge!

As an aside, he sometimes gifts you jewelry made from the crystals of anchordeep- he thinks you're pretty, too

SHAMURA

They turn over the word in their head- no ones ever called them pretty before

Intimidating, scary, are the main ones- not that they minded those words all that much, it exercised a level of power to them- something not to be taken lightly

It's not like they dont believe you and your words, it's just so new to them! after a moment they offer you a smile

In return they tell you how pretty- or if you prefer, beautiful or handsome- in return, going into the smaller things they've noticed about you

"How goes...your marriage..?"

"Hmph..hello to you too, sister." Narinder rolled his eyes as he sat by the pond with a bowl of stew, hoping for some peace and quiet.

But of course, ever since his siblings arrived into Lamb's cult and learned that he was betrothed to a mortal..he hasn't known such things.

He could tolerate Heket at the very least, since Kallamar was off flirting with gods-know-who, Leshy was on a missionary, and Shamura was reading their usual books.

"It fairs well. I sometimes find it funny.."

"Hm?"

"Shamura surely couldn't have predicted that I would become wedded to a measly mortal..let alone find myself in my vessel's cult. I was to sacrifice them and all of Lamb's followers. Yet when I ended up here..[y/n] was the first to reach out a hand and help me find my place." The black cat huffed. "When others mocked me..they defended my name day and night despite my past transgressions, willing to lookover the fact I once thought of them as nothing but a pawn in my game."

"You've..gotten soft..brother.." Heket lightly teased, earning her a scowl from him. However, something in the distance caught her eyes, and she tensed. "Go."

"What? Go away, you mean?" He blinked in confusion, taken aback by her command as he sneered. "I open my heart up to you, and you have the nerve to-?!"

"[Y/n]." She simply pointed, and he followed her gaze to the drinkhouse where you were trying to help a drunken follower stand on their own two feet.

While you could normally handle that sort of thing, something about it didn't sit right with Narinder. They were acting rather belligerent, babbling nonsense and causing a barrel to topple over, all while refusing to surrender their empty glass.

Only then he remember you were the bartender for today and were trying to close up shop.

He got up, deciding to let Heket finish his stew, and began walking over. His footsteps were silent as to not draw attention to himself.

He wanted to observe how you'd handle the situation.

"Please, go rest." You gently tried to urge the inebriated follower. "You've had enough."

"Don't touch meeeeeee...I ain't-" A hiccup interrupted them as their face became redder, words so slurred you could hardly understand them. "I ain't gonna..go anywherrre.."

"I'm afraid you must, I'm sorry-"

"Nooooo...I don't wanna be handled by some...idiot who slept with the One Who Waits!"

You froze. "Pardon?"

"Whatdya see in that guy anyway? He haaaates us all..he was..gonna kill us, right? And Lamby, too?" They grumbled, now sounding completely serious and irate. "Why don't you wanna be with Lamby? Or me? Or someone who isn't a monster...do ya hate us, too?"

"No, I don't hate anyone." You tried to reassure them. "But it's rude to speak of Narinder that way."

"But his stupid siblings..they...they hurt us so much because of him!" Tears began filling their eyes, their expression growing angrier. "Why did they have to come? What they did to us...was 'cuz of HIM! EVERYTHING is his fault!!!"

"I hear your pain, my friend. I really do. But Lamb believed-"

"WHAT ABOUT WHAT I BELIEVE?!" They raised their empty glass in a threatening manner, and you flinched, taking your hands off their robe in preparation for an attack.

But before anything could happen-

A black paw grabbed their wrist, claws digging into their flesh. Not enough to draw blood, but just enough to make it hurt and divert their attention to a certain angry feline.

"How irritating.." A trio of red eyes pierced through Narinder's veil as he scowled down at the follower. "I don't know whether you're more annoying now or when you're sober. You may scorn Lamb to your heart's content..but to threaten my spouse is a line you'll regret ever crossing. Now go lie down before I make you."

With a nod and a quiet whimper, they shakily set the glass down on the counter. And the moment he let their wrist go, they took off stumbling all the way to their shelter.

You frowned a little. "Darling, it's my job to lead them to-"

"They'll find their own way. Whatever they break can be fixed in no time." Narinder dismissed as he went to clean off the glass, while you plugged up the beer kegs for the night.

But as he rubbed and twisted the rag, he began thinking about what might've happened had he not intervened when he did..and it only made him angrier.

What if the glass was still full and they decided to spill it?

What if they threw it at your head?

What if they left tiny shards in your flesh and caused blood to pour down your face?

What if-?

*crack*

A sudden sharp pain in his paw pad made him wince slightly, realizing that the cup broke apart, a piece of glass now embedded in his own flesh.

Great.

"Oh no, let me take care of that for you, love."

He perked up at your voice, seeing you pull out a pair of tweezers and a roll of bandages from your robe pocket. "I can do it myself, you know."

"And risk getting more blood on the counter?" You pointed out the red splatters on the oak. "Heavens no."

Narinder chuffed, eventually turning his paw over and allowing you to tend to his injury. "Why do you allow them to speak to you that way? And being drunk is no excuse. They knew damn well what they were saying. They've disproved of our relationship from the start."

"So have plenty of others, including your own siblings, Nari. They'll come around eventually. I have all the faith in them."

"[Y/n]..they almost smashed a glass over your head. And I stopped them from doing so." He growled, frustrated at your lack of outrage. "You are content in letting such disrespect continue without punishment? Without consulting Lamb? If we cannot do anything about it, surely they can."

"I will let it go this one time. But only because I believe they won't do it again. I think they learned their lesson thanks to you." You simply reassured him, before you finished wrapping the gauze around his paw.

With a smile, you brought it up to your lips and kissed it, eyes flickering up to him. "You needn't worry, my darling. I am okay."

"...I'm not worrying about anything." Narinder scoffed, having difficulty hiding the blush beneath his fur. "I simply refuse to tolerate imbeciles who make obscene assumptions about us, thinking there'd be no repercussions."

"Of course, but in any case..thank you for coming to my defense."

"Hm.."

"Now come." You gently tugged him away from the drinkhouse, looping your arm around his. "I believe we have some farming plots to attend to. I promised Lamb I'd work on them in Leshy's steed, but what say...you pick out the seeds you wish to plant this time?"

Narinder's ears perked. "Hah. I thought you were about to tell me to gather fertilizer." He chuckled quietly. "You are too good to me sometimes."

"Well, I figured you could use a break. Come, come!"

And so he followed you to the farming area. While he could sense Heket still staring at him, knowing her grin was smug as ever, he didn't care about what she was thinking--or what anybody in the cult was thinking for that matter.

All that he cared about right now was vegetation would prosper best on this warm spring day.

Cult of the Lamb x Tall! Reader who loves giving piggyback rides. Headcanons.

The Lamb, Narinder, Leshy, Heket, Shamura & Kallamar.

(this will be with the bishops in follower form because i dont really think it would be possible to pick them up in their bishop forms).

Narinder

General:

He had returned from a crusade with the lamb, his legs were hurting a bit, but he didn't pay much attention to it.

Someone else did though. He was not happy when he was lifted up into the air, out of nowhere.

Narinder can and will try anything to make you put him down, but upon realizing you're not putting him down, he accepts defeat.

When he suddenly gets put down on a bed, he realized that you probably somehow knew that his legs were hurting, and just wanted him to get some rest.

He will thank you, before asking you to leave.

Romantic:

Ngl he definetly enjoys the piggyback rides, as long as he initiates them.

If not then he will likely shout something along the lines of ''Put me down! I will not tolerate- oh its just you. Put me down please''.

Will purr lightly when recieving piggyback rides.

Can and will kiss the top of your head while up on your shoulders.

He enjoys cuddeling your back if you can't / dont want to have him up on your shoulders.

Loves the feeling of being big again. even if not as big as he used to be.

He will ask you to ensure that the lamb isnt around if you pick him up. He already got defeated by the lamb, he doesn't need to have them see him being given piggyback rides.

Heket

General:

I don't even know how you even picked her up in the first place to be honest.

Definetly enjoys them as long as people don't really see it.

Does kind of like it if you just carry her to the kitchen or just bring her food.

Also likes the feeling of being slightly bigger then everyone else, but the thought of how she looks alone is enough to turn her away for a majority of the time.

It reminds her of before she got slain by the lamb so she does find some joy in being carried around.

Romantic:

Heket does become a whole lot more fond of being given piggyback rides once you're in a relationship with her.

She will do anything to avoid you picking her up infront of the other ex-bishops (especially Leshy because he likely wont stop teasing her if he finds out).

Will probably ask you to take her somewhere if she doesn't feel like walking.

I feel like she has tried to jump onto your back atleast once.

She will kiss you one way or another whenever you pick her up.

Leshy

General:

I don't even know if its possible to give Leshy piggyback rides considering that, well, he's a worm.

He will try and wiggle out of your grasp if you pick him up.

Once he realizes that now he's far above everyone else, he feels happy, untill you or someone else, reminds him that he is currently being carried on your shoulders.

unless you hold him in place he can and will fall off you, unless he wraps around you like a scarf.

Romantic:

If you don't pick him up, he's definetly gonna try and slither onto you just so he can be on your shoulders, or somehwere else on you.

Makes for a very nice and alive scarf for the winter.

He will be cuddling you while he's wrapped around you in one way or another.

If its cold, he's basically glued to you.

He will ask you to just carry him sometimes.

Kallamar

General:

He is terrified when you first pick him up.

He's going through every single possibility as for why you would pick him up, and none of them are good.

Lowkey will have an anexiety attack if you don't tell him why you picked him up out of nowhere.

If you do it to him while he looks uncomfortable and bring him somewhere he can be alone for a bit he will probably try to thank you.

He is nervous so if you sense something is up and you go pick him up and take him somewhere to comfort him he's gonna be getting very close to you.

Romantic:

If he feels uncomfortable he can and will look for you.

You have become a safe space with the addition of maybe some cuddles.

Loves being picked up by you, makes him feel like he's not gonna get hurt.

Kallamar will hug you constantly while being given a piggyback ride.

He doesn't want to go back down once you pick him up, he has to though but he's not too happy about (too scared to really complain though).

if you're not gonna have him on your shoulders he'd likely prefer to be carried facing the front of you rather then your back. Mainly because he's scared he's gonna be attacked without you noticing.

Shamura

General:

Shamura was probably curious at first about what this ''piggyback ride'' thing you were talking about was.

Immidietly after you pick them up they get confused.

Just one moment ago you guys were talking, and now they're on your back.

Once you explain what piggyback rides are and why people give them, Shamura immidietly calms down, now knowing why they're currently on your back / shoulders.

Might rest their head on your head depending on how close they are to you and or if they're on your shoulders

Romantic:

Shamura will give you small kisses on top of your head whenever they're recieving piggyback rides.

If they have a feeling that they forgot that they needed to be somewhere, they'll go to you because you usually know.

If it wasn't for their injury, they would've given you piggyback rides as well.

They have read a book atleast once while sitting on your shoulders.

The Lamb / Lambert

General:

The Lamb had been on many crusades before, usually coming back un-injured.

Allthough one day in particular after a crusade they had gotten a somewhat bad leg injury.

You along with many other followers came up to see what was wrong. You being more then happy to carry your leader, gave the lamb a piggyback ride to the infirmary.

Once out of the infirmary they saw you carrying children around via piggyback rides as well

They definetly are curious as for why you're so willing to give people piggyback rides.

Will ask you about it one day, curious if you viewed them kind of like a child that day they had the leg injury.

Romantic:

The lamb loves recieving piggyback rides.

Whenever they return from a crusade uninjured and if nobody needs them at the moment, they will immidietly go to you, maybe ask you for a walk (mainly because if their legs get tired they can just ask for a piggyback ride).

Would give you piggyback rides if you werent as tall.

They love cuddling with you as you just walk around with them.

I imagine that their legs have been sore for some reason atleast once on a day where they had to perform a cermone so they just asked you if they could sit on your shoulders for the duration.

ignoring the fact that hes going to gnash and bare his teeth at anyone who dare tries to take it away from it or so much as touch the doll without his permission

will shut you down if you offer to take it back... this is his now! no take backs! sometimes carries it around in his room

lets the fact you sat down and made something for him go to his head... ohoho was he on your mind enough that you felt the need to make something in his image?

will not let it go, and will bring it up whenever- sometimes does it to his sibling.. annoying youngest child behavior. "haha look what i have you dont have it eheh loser"

HEKET

dolls arent really her thing nowadays, but she does keep it... like shamura, she shifts it around in her hands as she looks at it. outright asks what you expect her to do with it

keeps it on her bed, but doesnt really cuddle with it... shes not much of a cuddler, in general...

will go on a small rampage if someone were to sneak into her room and steal it away, from nasty things being ripped out of her mouth to throwing anything she can get her hands on until she believes justice has been served and her gift returned

mixed feelings about it... shes so used to getting things from followers when she was a bishop, but it feels... different now

you made this out of love, not out of devotion. it leaves an odd taste in her mouth

KALLAMAR

loves it, and if you made it hes going to show off your work to everyone who will listen... and everyone who wont! he keeps it on his bed!

sometimes snuggles into it as he sleeps and will immediately bolt up to pick it up if it falls off the bed and onto the floor

if the clothes arent attached to the dolls body, expect him to ask you to make some outfits for mini him

genuinely holds the gift close to his heart... things have been so different since hes been made to join the lambs cult, so having someone dedicate so much time and effort into him feels nice and reminiscent of his time as a god

it... may go to his head a little bit... but hes not going to get overly obnoxious about it like some people

SHAMURA

they simply... stare at it for a long moment as they hold it in their hands... you almost begin to think that they dont like it- before they shift it in their arms and thank you

did you make it? because if you did, they must commend you for your work... its well made

they dont snuggle with it in their sleep, but they do keep it in their home set on a shelf or a desk... they tend to look at it a lot, it reminds them of you

takes very good care of it- keeping dust off of it and overall not being rough with it

they may not cuddle it or pour out their feelings for you, but they do truly appreciate the gift

Sooo,, this is Not rlly a canon thing,, but could be canon if Allure hypothetically ever does propose to shamura (which they were informed not to and now they know why. Shamura is the only bishop who isn't married to Allure ,, its more of just a regular couple thing ! So i lean more towards not canonical event for the sake of this 🙇)

In silk cradle (~7,000 years ago) , it was infested all with the spider species at the time,, and for marriage rituals , one or the other spider would sacrifice themself to have their head eaten for the sake of nutrients rather than it being out of romance

Now if we apply a fairly conservative shamura still applying some of their old faith from silk cradle and in the cult; if allure ever proposed to shamura with a ring and wanted to get married, they'd look at allure like theyre insane for it. cuz thats Basically asking shamura on wanting/sacrificing your head to them ���� so with the conflicted look shamura gives allure theyre like ":'-D ?? Is my marriage proposal not good?" And shamura would think allure is messing with them and immediately initiates an attack on them thus easily taking their detachable head and eating it LMAOAOAODWJD

But yeah no shamuras siblings genuinely told allure to refrain from marrying them and they were all like. NO. Allure thought they all were jealous but sERIOUSLY. THE ONLY PART OF THEIR BODY ALLURE COULDNT GENERATE IS THEIR HEAD.... THEY WERE DOING THEM A BIG FAVOR HERE-
