you both bounce off of each other, both sweet- a lot of the time after youre both done with your work and youre away from prying eyes you simply... talk and catch up and check in on each other

you drop everything for them when they need you and they would do the same if the burden of being a crown bearer and leader wasnt weighing them down

will always bring something back for you from their crusades- fresh flowers from darkwood, or pretty gems from anchordeep! sometimes things they buy from shops!

youre a breath of fresh air after a cultist asks to eat feces or after needing to break up yet another bar fight

KALLAMAR

clings onto you because youre one of the few people who has the patience to wait for his nerves to settle... and he does lean into how attentive you are towards him- you always do small things for him to make him feel good and cared for... habitually expects it because.. you know, fallen god

hides behind you whenever another cultist gives him some flack and escalates further than insults and empty threats- youre usually left to diffuse the situation

hes not exactly mean but hes not the most considerate person, but you rub off on him with time, he does his best to make sure your needs are met

no thoughts only reader convincing him to try out some of the more intimidating tasks of cult lift with them- going out on missions for resources, for example

LESHY

as bad as it feels to say, in the beginning he does use your willingness to make things easier on him and to help him to his advantage- from small things like fetching him things to things that could... legitimately put you in danger.. it does stop- at least the danger part- as he grows more accustomed to mortal life

youre sickeningly sweet, he grows protective of you out of the belief that someone is going to use your kindness against you like how he once did

little asshole x sweetheart dynamic, you sometimes counter some of the things he says to others with something kind or "oh he doesnt really mean it when he says he wants your pillow to be warm on both sides!"

you always make sure to involve him in activities, many see you crouching down and talking into some hole- they dont see leshy burrowed into the ground

Sorry if someone asked you this before, but what are your ship's with the bishops? I know you have leshy x the yellow cat, narilamb, and shamura x sozo, but what about heket and kalamar? Do they have lovers, or are just single Pringle's?

Question for all shippers in the COTL fandom

ok, so we all know of Narilamb and most, i think, know of Shroomwool for lamb x heket.

but I must ask if there are any names for other ships?

like, what about Lamb x Shamura? Silkfleece, perhaps? (keeping that one. I like it.) what about other bishops like Leshy? Kallamar? and that's just if you want to stop at bishops. what about the other characters? like sozo? (maybe cosmica has one for that.)

why am I asking these questions? well...

after making a short Shroomwool one-off, I decided to try a Kallamar one to feed the squid simps and now I'm curious what the ship name is.

plus I find these interesting even if they just default to combining names. like with Narilamb and Leshycat.

just don't mention any shipcest here. period. zero tolerance policy.

Edit: apparently Leshycat is also called "Blind Faith". though I thought True Devotion was an AU not an alternate for Narilamb. duly noted.

edit 2: new Kallamar x Lamb: Kallamb. simply yet effective. both sounds like a demon's name and a potential fankid of the two.

will still take other suggestions if you all want.

I wouldn't say narilamb is "default settings" it's just kinda the big ship the majority enjoys skdhs

Anyways leshylamb is fine, not my favorite but not my least favorite; I'm sure it's fun and chaotic tho

I am not a big kallamar enjoyer I just do not like that squid... more power to those down bd about him but nah. I cannot see him being shipped with the lamb at all

shamura x the lamb I could definitely see some depth to it... I've mentioned I hc shamura as aroace so I don't personally enjoy ships with them in it but the appeal is there and I can see why people would and do ship it

I'm not sure if you mind or not, (and if you do I apologize) but I thought up of an extension to that scribe swap au. Maybe a collab version if you will. :/ cult of the lamb x inscryption to be exact... So essentially the bishops of the old faith are made of the old data and take over each of the 4 realms. For example,the one we know in love with the pink moon is controlled by Shamura, Bishop of war, it is they who are responsable for all the squandering and power fights. They do this in order to try to free themself. But I'm not sure how the rest of them will play out... ( also, I don't know if you know Cult to the Lamb are not, but in case you don't, for reference. Kallamar is bishop of pestilence and I was thinking of making him rule over the blue moon, heck, it is the Bishop of famine, and she rules the yellow moon, and lastly, * for the sake of distinguishing between the 2* leshy jr! * the scrybe leshy is refered to as leshy sr.* or some just call him Beelzebub, he rules over the green moon. And the center of these worlds, a former bishop and middle sibling, narinder is chained in order to keep him from foiling the bishops' plan of domination.) **again if you do mind me just barging in like this, I'm sorry, and you're free to not respond to this. I just thought of your scrybe swap au and this thought couldn't leave my precious mind.**

personally i'm not at all knowledgeable or fixated on CoTL, but if you want to make a fragmentary crossover AU thing, go for it! sounds like a cool concept, and it's always fun and flattering to see people get inspired by my lil AU ideas ^^

Something something while realistically I dont think theyd have kids, at least not as bishops, I do think it would be interesting as a hypothetical

Notes: reader is GN, no specific age for the reader tbh it kinda bounces around depending on the current idea, any creature for the reader

He spoils you, to the highest degree- he can get just about anything he wants thanks to his status, so by extension all your wants are fulfilled

That being said hes not... the most responsible parent.. being the god of chaos, order and routine seem foreign to him

Definitely receives guidance from his siblings to help make things run more smoothly, you sometimes spend afternoons with your uncles and aunts

Will have someone killed if you tell him theyve wronged you.. or vaguely annoyed you..he'd do the same tbh

KALLAMAR

Shes incredibly firm with you but I wouldn't say shes suffocating or overly strict- she just wants you to be respectable and have thick skin

Will not tolerate anyone throwing bullshit your way, they never get the chance to finish their sentence before they're killed

You get her temper and attitude, and shes proud that you're able to stand up for yourself

Protective of you to a degree but wants you to fight your own battles if possible, steps in when you're in over your head

SHAMURA

Might spoil you more than Leshy does, you have so many jewels and pretty things in your possession

A very proud parent, always showing you off to his followers and siblings- will talk about your milestones to his siblings! "Oh they said their first words they're so smart!" "Oh they made a drawing they're so talented!" "Oh they killed their first cultist they're so strong!"

But he is a bit.. of a worrier... if hes not around he has one of his disciples keeping an eye on you to make sure you're not in trouble- though this only applies when you're off the cults grounds

Ooouuugh soft at the idea that he puts on a brave face when hes terrified in the inside so you can still count on him

A firm parent like their sibling, they have some experience from taking care of their siblings! This is not their first rodeo!

You're about to be so knowledgeable on various pieces of history and other information, some cultists may come to you for wisdom if shamura isnt available

Definitely the best fighter out of your hypothetical cousins, to the surprise of no one given your parent is the god of war

COTL : Mini Lamb Maker Lambsona(Megara)

Made a Cute Lambsona on Picrew's Mini Lamb Maker, decided to give her name to be Megara(named after the disney movie & most underrated DP ever)

Megara would be the New Bishop of Silk Cradle & is Good Friends with Shamura & Lambert most esp as a Fellow Lamb. She knows about the Day of Sin(SOTF Update Releasing on jan 16th) & is pretty skeptical about it esp with "having S E X" with Shamura nor of his fellow siblings..

In my Cult tho(in game) if she was a Follower on in it, her follower form would be the Llama/Alpaca Follower due to how Fluffy & Messy she look with Leaves Covering her Black Floofy Wooly Hair & her Crown(which she got as a Welcome gift from Chemach whom she adores for her "interesting personality") and her Alpaca form would be married to Shamura & Lambert. & would also try her best to become besties with Leshy, Heket & Kallamar themselves aswell as already becoming Besties with Lamb's Beloved Wife Trio Samantha, Lady Dimistru(Dimmi) & M3gan.
