Another Yellow-crowned Night-Heron but I finally saw a mature one! It’s so cool the difference in feathers between the various ages and times of year for birds, from soft and fluffy, to textured, to sleek, dull, or colorful!! There will be many birds I photograph and will never be able to see all their different colorations (since so many have their breeding colors way up north)! 💙 . . .
