About The Cosmic Dragons

The cosmic dragons have recently been urging me to deliver various messages for the Earth Collective re: spiritual ascension and the cosmic paradigm shift which is heavily affecting earthlings.

First, they want to set the record straight about who they are and clear up popular pejoratives and misconceptions about dragons.

Dragons are among the most powerful and ancient creatures within the Primordial Cosmic Multiverse, operating on the 9th - 13th dimensions. They are generous, benevolent, and compassionate to lower-dimensional creatures. Whereas they are commonly associated with the air + fire elements and depicted as fire-breathing winged lizards, they are actually more like serpents or eels that "swim" through the ethers, the primordial waters of spacetime, and have no need for wings. They find no connection between themselves and popular depictions of dragons.

They specifically want to emphasize the connection between themselves and serpentine characteristics of magical powers, wisdom, immortality, alchemical transformation, and metamorphosis. They say that trying to understand what they really look like on the level that they operate at would be a bit like trying to represent a cube in only one dimension: too much information is lost because of insufficient representational complexity translating from 9D+ down onto 3D.

They project a holographic image to make themselves seen and understood on 3D, and the serpent/reptilian form is highly resonant because of the aforementioned characteristics. Also, the evolutionary basis of reptiles as older ancestors of other terrestrials readily transfers to the cosmic dragons as primordial ancestors of other lifeforms.

They do not care so much about their physical depiction in and of itself, but rather want their nature and motivations to be better understood by earthlings.

Widespread dragon-slaying myths and negative stereotypes about dragons are relatively recent (Western) inventions symbolizing victory over these primordial creatures and the civilizations that honored their magical powers.

This "victory" is a victory of globalized patriarchy over the Great Goddess (Primordial Cosmic Mother) who was worshipped for hundreds of thousands of years prior to the last 3000-4000 years of patriarchal doctrines. The Goddess was often linked to serpents and dragons or literally represented as a serpent or dragon (e.g. Tiamat), symbolic of Her wisdom and magical powers of metamorphosis, alchemical transformation, and immortality.

The triumph of the Olympian male over the dragon, repeated through myths across the globe, is a mythopoeic representation of the triumph of patriarchs and their religious/secular power systems in destroying, demonizing , and displacing the Goddess and Her devotees -- and with them, the ontological basis of pro-evolutionary unity consciousness and real primordial sovereignty + power rooted in holistic psychic mind-body-spirit union with the entire Cosmos.

It is also a symbolic victory of Man and his Lower Ego-Self over the infinite power of the Goddess, and the inescapable contingency upon Her. She being the Earth, the so-called "unconscious mind", and the primordial waters that comprise and contain all of Creation itself. To triumph over the Goddess or liberate oneself from Her is impossible, because She is the basis of existence and spacetime whether one chooses to acknowledge Her and deliberately participate in Her or not.

However, the patriarchal delusions of ego-driven "power" and "freedom" rooted in further delusions of alienation, objectification, and lower-dimensional exclusion of true causality and 'reality' have dominated through violence and oppression for the past 3000-4000 years. Wherein earthlings destroy their own ecosystem and themselves while trapped within a Dark Age. The higher-dimensional consciousness, magical powers, and arcane knowledge of sacred cosmic mysteries which were once common and as basic as breathing are now regarded as either fake OR exclusive privileges that people must struggle or beg entities to attain. Alternatively, people use lower-dimensional crutches (if not outright farces) like rituals and offerings/sacrifices to IMITATE/FORCE things that are fundamental and effortless for cosmically initiated beings.

The cosmic dragons are returning now to assist the Earth Collective in transitioning to higher dimensions and completely liberating themselves from the matrix system parasitic paradigm by soaring above it.

The demonization and death of dragons is thus weaponized ignorance and slander commensurate with the erasure and smear campaign against all of civilization prior to the rise of patriarchal (especially Abrahamic) cultures and religions, which primarily serves the counter-evolutionary parasitic paradigm which cannot maintain it's power except via coercion, because it is unnatural and unfavorable in comparison to the alternatives it doggedly denies and destroys.

Dragons are not malicious or "dumb" destructive creatures subject to human control, as they are actually more intelligent and powerful than humans and regard them as akin to much younger siblings that they have a duty to protect. The popular conceptions of dragons hoarding wealth which is invariably stolen by an invader depicted as "valiant" is arguably symbolic of pillaging and appropriation of ancient cultures, inventions, and literal wealth (i.e. genocidal theft and rampage against Aztecs by Spanish conquistadors). To analyze the ramifications of dragon-damsel imagery in light of mythopoeic resonance to literal anthropological/historical/political phenomena would be complex enough to warrant a standalone examination, and will not be here elaborated except to state that it is clearly completely disconnected from actual dragons.

(These are the depictions they are most insistent upon rebutting because they are rooted in projections which reflect more about the culture they are embedded in than the dragons themselves, and reveal shadow aspects that should be consciously confronted.)

They are transferring a lot of knowledge directly into the collective consciousness of the Earth Collective as we as trying to purge the collective unconscious by forcing confrontation with the collectivized shadow, which will cause many crises and heightened focus on historical issues or events which have been unresolved as well as collectivized injustices which were never redressed.

The cosmic dragons are also helping particular earthlings, especially those with powerful dragon blood and/or connections to Lemuria, to remember their relevant past lives and accelerate their ascension and total alignment with their true purpose in service to the Earth Collective.

Their return is linked to the return of the Divine Mother and collective Saturn Return during the Age of Aquarius. This marks the arrival of long-term consequences for the Age of Aries (the rise of ego, birth of zero-sum "self"-interest and alienation/separation, widespread warfare) and the Age of Pisces (age of belief = delusions, scams, con artists prevailing on a collective level, artificially constructed reality based on manipulation of collective consciousness and energy harvesting, fake it til you make it, etc.) and the collapse of the parasitic paradigm and artificial constructs and timelines disconnected from genuine causality. It also heralds the long-awaited end of the Kali Yuga as complete destruction and chaos rends all false establishments, doctrines, and systems to clear space for new growth.

harnessing and using external energies

one of the mistakes i made as a beginner witch is using my own energy to power spells, which is exhausting. a good way to combat that involves channeling energy from an external source - i will use the moon as an example.

no, it's not to say that channeling energy is easier or not exhausting in itself - it's to say that you have options at your disposal to keep yourself from quickly and constantly burning out.

channeling energy - gather energy from an external source such as the moon. i like to imagine a silver string that connects us together, a tether if you will. typically i visualize this energy as a ball of light forming in my core or my hands.

direct - once you've gathered your energy, where do you want it to go? directly into a spell? saved for a rainy day? into a physical object of sorts? or maybe keep it within yourself?

charging - using that energy to power spells, enchantments, items, etc.

battery - store energy for later use - i like using quartz towers - then you can use that to power objects without having to channel energy every. single. time.

you can easily compare this concept to charging electronics.

there's a couple ways to charge a phone - you can either plug it straight into the wall, or charge up your power bank first and use that to charge your phone - channeling and charging in magic follows the same process.

the phone in this example is the vessel that holds energy.

electricity from wall outlet = moon aka energy source

charging cord = tether to the moon for channeling

phone = the thing you're transferring energy to aka charging

the intent to plug your phone in to charge = directing energy

actually plugging your phone in = charging

power bank = energy you gathered and stored away

choosing the outlet vs the power bank = immediate use of lunar energy vs storage for later use

once your phone is charged, what are you gonna do with it? open tumblr? send a text? now you get to decide where that energy is going to be sent and what it'll be used for (storage, spells, enchantments, etc.).

tips & advice

keep in mind that your phone isn't going to charge if it's dead and you only leave it plugged in for like 5 minutes. take your time to sit with the moon, have a conversation, meditate alongside one another, and get to know each other before asking for help.

i don't advise channeling energy directly into yourself to save for later use. it will eventually burn out, drain you, and then you're back to square one.

stored energies still need to be maintained and recharged, just like a battery.

what to do afterwards

sever the tie that connects you to the moon - be nice and give thanks.

if you've used energy to cast a spell immediately after channeling, close out your spell however you want (like, taking down a circle if you've cast one).

if you chose to store that energy away instead, set the vessel aside for later use.

ground yourself to shake off any lingering static, so to speak.

as with anything, your mileage may vary - do what works for you and with whatever energy you choose. good luck!

Sorry for this long post but can people stop treating Vader and Anakin as completely separate people. Like. That type of dissociation were obviously coping mechanisms by Old Ben and Vader. Not like. A literal fragmentation of personalities. Like if you love Anakin Skywalker imo you have to accept that he was a cute kid and a padme simp and a fun older brother and a boy desperately in need of acknowledgement and praise and a father who ultimately loved his son but also a guy who commits atrocities in his anger and strangles people who annoy him and has a victim/persecution complex (although admittedly for good reason) and was also a notorious child killer. This man contains multitudes.

Imo falling to the dark side/using the light side of the force isn’t marked by a shift or fragmentation of personality, but rather what emotions are used to channel the force and guide one’s actions. I think part of what’s so hard about resisting the dark side and coming back to the light is that there’s positive feedback loops of power, and resisting that by doing good and healthily channeling emotions is just plain hard. Especially in the case of Anakin, who is notoriously a “in for a penny, in for a pound” type of guy. He’s loyal and loves completely and dangerously with his whole heart, and he hates just as much.

And I think guilt is a huge factor with him struggling to do good; it’s pretty much a thought process of “Well, I’ve already committed thousands of atrocities and have countless amounts of blood on my hands, I have to believe whole hog in what I’ve been doing because then otherwise what was it all for.” I think that’s what makes his sacrifice for Luke so poignant, because it speaks to how much he loves his son that he’s able to overcome that spiral and do one last act of love for his son, unselfishly and without rationalization.

Idk, I just watched ESB again, and I think beyond just wanting to possess Luke and use him for power, it’s reasonable to think that part of the reason Vader wants him so badly to turn to the dark side with him is that he still thinks the dark side is the only way he can have enough power to protect his family and therefore keep them—he’s objectively much more powerful than he was in the prequels, and a main part of his struggles during the fall of the Republic was that he didn’t feel “strong enough” to protect the people he loved as a Jedi. He wasn’t able to free the slaves. He wasn’t able to save his mother. He wasn’t able to stop Ashoka’s expulsion from the order. He wasn’t able to prevent Padmé from dying. With the commitment he’s had to his path and the objective amount of power he’s amassed since the twins’ births, I think it’s reasonable to assume he desperately grasping at the idea that somehow, this time, he’ll be able to achieve what he’s never been able to do before. But his failure always lies in the fact that his motivations are, and always have been, ultimately self-serving, that his pride and fear of loss—which are completely understandable in moderation and not something he should necessarily be punished for—outweigh his real and genuine care for his loved ones and the galaxy at large.

Idk. All this to say that Anakin has always been Vader and Vader has always been Anakin. They’re the same fucking person, you fools! Stop taking dissociative rationalization literally!!! It’s right there in the text!!!! His return to the light does not negate his time in the dark and vice versa! There is good in him !! He is capable of unspeakable evil !!! BOTH ARE TRUE AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!

I am of the opinion that Vee Noceda might hold a record for how fast a fandom changed their opinion on a character that they once considered untrustworthy and suspicious (and I’m sure the very intentional casting of the 2010s’ most sympathetic voice for a shapeshifter helped with that) but in terms of characters we already knew, very few other shows handled the reveal of a character’s true depth better than Thanks to Them did with Camilla Noceda. And a significant portion of that-at least from what I’m interpreting-is inherently linked to another major reveal of the episode: that Camilla and Manny Noceda were both involved in the early generation of what basically amounts to Star Trek fandom.

Bear with me here, and let me explain. (Info/theory dump under break)

When Cosmic Frontier is first mentioned in the episode, it’s in the context of Gus pointing out the similarities to their current situation. When he lists names like Captain Avery and Chief Engineer O’Bailey, the Trek fans watching (particularly those familiar with DS9) have a little chuckle about the reference and how Gus and Hunter will definitely identify with the characters, assuming that will be the extent of this amusing copyright-friendly shout out.

And then Gus reveals the closet, and we learn so much about Luz’s parents in this one brief shot (though I’m sure the TOH crew would’ve preferred a full episode): 

The sheer amount of merchandise, years upon years of ‘Galaxy Con’ loot and collectables and homemade props The amount of guest lanyards, each from a different summer of memories.

The subtle but important suggestion that Manny had worked hard to update and improve his Circuit cosplay, countless hours of research and studying paused frames and crafting the fine details.

The implication of Camilla getting prepared in a hotel bathroom, making sure her turquoise body paint was properly sealed and Manny’s mask was comfortably positioned before heading out to the familiar sanctuary of the convention hall.

The realization that some viewers might have, a link between Star Trek’s real-life impact on how many people who watched the show would later pursue scientific and medical careers and Camilla’s current job as a veterinarian. 

How narratively fitting, that a girl who engages so passionately in modern fandom traditions like AMVs and commissioned fan art would be the child of two people who shared a love of the fandom that started it all, and quite possibly was how they met in the first place.

But then we wonder, why is this all hidden? What would cause Camilla to hide these clearly still important relics of her past down in the basement?

We get part of the answer soon enough: She grew up, became a parent, and became far more conscious of how other people perceived and judged both herself and Luz. She tries being supportive of her daughter’s enthusiastic interests and strange habits, but social and societal pressure, along with the weight of her own past regrets, causes her to try to steer Luz away from making the same “mistakes” that she once did.

Though, maybe when Luz was younger, she had a bit of time to go back to old habits. Manny’s enthusiasm would’ve been infectious, helping her remember the good times instead of dwelling on the bad. Perhaps one night they hired a babysitter for Luz and managed to watch a movie that, despite its unfortunate choice of lead actor, was an affectionate parody of Cosmic Frontier that showed its appreciation for what the series meant for its actors and fans.

But without Manny, that spark of enthusiasm and nostalgia wouldn’t last long. Every record and reminder of what Camilla used to share with him would be boxed up, hidden, and left behind as another childish pursuit that she couldn’t afford to waste time on as a single mother.That plan to bury that part of herself deep and never let it grow too much within Luz might have continued as she expected, but Manny, fortunately, had other ideas. He must’ve recognized that spark of creativity and passion within Luz, he surely knew what would be left behind once he was gone.

So he leaves Luz a gift, a memento, something that she would identify with and obsess over and create social bonds through like he and Camilla once did with Cosmic Frontier.

And wouldn’t you know it, ol’ Circuit’s calculations were correct. Luz becomes hooked, enamored, she sees herself within Azura like her parents must have identified with their favorite show’s characters.

Her love of the series is a constant theme throughout The Owl House, it inspired her to express herself, face challenges, make friends, defend the people she loves, and find someone who enjoys the fandom enough to understand her like nobody else could.

What does Camilla do in response to her daughter’s newfound hyper-fixation?

She supports Luz, as much as she can, despite the weight of expectation on both of them. Helping her buy the next books, the new merchandise, even costume parts. One year, not long after they move to Gravesfield, they manage to have enough money to buy convention tickets. Entirely for Luz’s sake, of course, Camilla is too old for this sort of thing, and hardly recognizes most of the characters kids are dressing up as nowadays. But if her eyes linger on some familiar faces at the autograph tables, or she starts absentmindedly humming along to a certain show’s theme song being played over the loudspeakers, well, that’s her business. Old habits are hard to shake.

Speaking of which, I only noticed this after a rewatch, but Camilla’s fandom experience arguably makes an appearance earlier in the series:

When Jacob’s doing his whole “delusional defeated villain trying to claim he’s the hero” bit, Mrs. Noceda’s response before delivering the righteous justice of La Chancla is “Yeah...a lot of bad guys say that.” On first watch I thought this was simply calling out IRL examples of scumbags with a self-centered ego, but later I realized she’s commenting on it in terms of its use as a somewhat cliche trope. As if she’s watched and read this kind of speech dozens of times before.

For a long time, possibly almost a decade, Camilla manages to avoid directly confronting her past. She works as much as she can to support Luz, the forbidden relics are locked away downstairs, everything’s fine. But then the Hexside Kids show up at her doorstep, bringing with them a bit of the same Boiling Isles culture that allowed her daughter to express herself freely.

She tries to keep it quiet, awkwardly denying any knowledge of the merchandise in her basement, but these new kids are her kids too, for now, and she supports their interests as much as she did with Luz. So if Hunter needs help stitching together an Engineer O’Bailey cosplay, or Gus needs some show-accurate props for his own outfit, well. She’s just being supportive, in a neutral and parental way, that’s all.

Once the portal is open and Luz starts to say something she’ll regret, however, Camilla can’t maintain the facade of a responsible, respectful, socially acceptable parent any longer. That old spark within her, the part that never really left, shows itself more than it has in years.

She offers an alternative, something Luz would’ve never expected, defiantly and proudly stating that she’d be going into the portal to the Isles alongside them. It’s the specific wording that gets me, though, “It is our DUTY to help your friends get back to their families!” Seems to invoke the sort of “I’ll be your fearless champion” type speeches that Luz sometimes makes. However, we recall from Yesterday’s Lie that Camilla knows she isn’t great with on-the-fly improvised roleplay scenarios. She’s “not imaginative enough”. So it’s entirely possible that Camilla’s taking inspiration from lines that she hasn’t heard in a while but still knows by heart, after hearing it recited at the beginning of hundreds of episodes. A socially acceptable single mother and hard-working veterinarian would never consider something like this, it’s too risky, too dangerous, too many unknown variables on the other side of that portal.

But Camilla Noceda grew up watching others face the unknown, for the safety of others, because it was their duty. Their “ongoing mission”. 

She might not understand anime yet, but for Luz’s sake and Manny’s legacy, she’s willing to learn.
