"Trump staged a shooting where a bullet flew so close it nicked his ear, while already ahead in the polls and while his opponent is having an unprecedented campaign disaster" is a stupid conspiracy theory
But "Bolsonaro staged a stabbing where he LOST 40% OF HIS BLOOD and had to get a colostomy with complications that continued into his presidency" is a much cooler conspiracy theory that I hadn't heard before. So it's impossible to say whether this post is bad or not.

i actually LOVE the moral issue of pvp civilization. a world where you have to kill others to survive so you are forced to desensitize yourself to the horror of it? but this just brings me back to something i mentioned a while ago while thinking about it. your morals and values are reliant upon the society you live in and who you are raised by. and this applies to EVERYONE in pvp civilization. it’s a death game. kill or be killed. die or let others die. and when you are born in this society and all you know is “if i kill, i can live longer”, then what you view as right or wrong, moral or immoral, is entirely based on this. the “iron swords” claim to know what is morally correct, to be pacifist, but let’s be honest, even if you love so much and care so much, make true bonds and see murder and death as reprehensible, you still need to live. so you kill. and this applies to everyone. to tabi, to evbo, to zam, to the guy who speaks pvp, to all the diamond swords, hell, it applies to the shields even when they can’t directly kill others, just take their hits.
nobody wants to die. everyone see the death of themselves or someone they care about as bad. but when it comes to others? it’s just survival.
it’s a cycle.
the other weapons farm the swords to survive.
the iron swords farm evbo to survive.
evbo kills on every level to rank up, live longer, uncover secrets, despite immoratality. and kills the iron swords who target him after his fight with zam.
guards make weapons hit them with their weapons, wasting durability but helping the guard rank up.
you are part of the endless cycle of suffering, they pit you against each other, and live like kings on your pain. you think, if i cause more pain, i can reach that level of power and joy and longevity. i can live.
you’re just stupid, they think.
but go back to your fighting and killing and the morals you’ve known all your life. go. go. you only fuel them more with the pain.

In a season where Ekko berated Jayce, and Jayce berated Mel, the one councilman to escape any critique and consequence was Heimerdinger of all people.
The same Heimerdinger that told Viktor his mending unnatural death caused by the pollution Piltover created during his 200 year stint as Chief of Piltover's council was natural and that nothing could be done, was practically vindicated by the plot. He was never admonished by the Firelights or the Zaunite refugees that stayed with them. No Zaunite ever had a problem with Heimerdinger ever, including Jinx, who has a new voice line where she's super friendly with him.
Even Heimerdinger's "death" isn't a real consequence because Yordles don't die when they're killed, they just respawn in Bandle City!

not to be overdramatic or anything, but the fact that Tim had to go through all of Jay's footage when he was dying makes me feel like i am about to explode. He literally watched Jay bleed to death... and then he POSTED IT?!
I can accept Mr Voyeur over there recording Alex bashing a guy's head in with a rock as just him corrupted by the operator sickness, but when Tim does it, it feels so much visceral

DRONES, DRONES, DRONES!!! WATCH OUT!!!
Tumblr media
For over a decade, commercial and hobbyist drones have been buzzing through the skies without incident, yet suddenly people are losing their collective minds over this non-issue as if it's the harbinger of Armageddon. Are you all seriously this gullible? This isn't new technology—hell, we're talking about a military town with Fort Huachuca right there, the same Fort Huachuca that helped pioneer the use of surveillance drones in the first place. This isn’t Skynet coming online; it’s glorified flying cameras that have been around longer than some TikTok influencers have been alive. Meanwhile, a friend of mine has been building custom quadcopters for nearly two decades without a single newsworthy apocalypse resulting from it. But sure, let’s all clutch our pearls over something we’ve lived with peacefully for years, because apparently, critical thinking is optional these days.
The worst part? This drone outrage is nothing but a cheap distraction. While the masses are busy hyperventilating over the "threat" of flying gadgets, actual threats to democracy and justice are barreling forward unchecked. Luigi Mangione’s case—an explosive reflection of systemic neglect and institutional abuse—barely registers on the public radar. And Trump, the felonious rapist insurrectionist, and Elon, the tax-dodging manchild playing geopolitical chess with government subsidies, are tearing apart democratic norms like it’s their God-given right. Yet here we are, hand-wringing over drones, because apparently, a shiny distraction is all it takes to steer the public away from the real threats. Wake up. The manipulation is blatant, and your outrage is being weaponized against you while these bastards continue their games unchecked.

Eurydice has to leave her children in Skyhold for their own safety after their home is blighted. She is on her knees trying to reason with her oldest children, Psyche and Farron, because they are 11 and 10, respectively, and they're so old now.
Psyche has been training with her wooden sword; Papae said before this that someday soon, she might get to wield a real one.
Farron has been studying magic with the Keeper and his mentor, Kieran! He knows how to cast a fire with his hands now!
They can help! They can go with her!
And Eurydice has to hold them and beg them to listen, to understand. "No, stay children as long as you can. Play with your siblings, listen to your aunts and uncles, eat and sleep. Dream of good things. If you must do anything for me, do that."
Eurydice couldn't save them from seeing the terror of the world this young, but she won't steal their youth from them. She won't have them grow up too soon, not now, not when they can be protected. Farron tries to understand, but he's always been the more sensitive of his children. He weeps against her but stops asking her to take him.
Psyche refuses to understand. Her eldest child who tries to play the hero. Perhaps it was her fault for letting her hear those old war stories. She thinks of herself as braver and bigger than she is. She resents her with tears in her eyes; why should she stay a child? Why can't she fight? Eurydice can only kiss her forehead and tell her one day she will understand. One day she will treasure the childhood she had, even among the wreckage of a blight.
Cullen watched this happen and turned away, covering his face so she couldn't see him overwhelmed by his tears.
The other children are hard but easier. Bridget is only five, she is only aware of so much. That her mother is leaving and one of her fathers will be following after her in a few weeks. But she is safe and in a fairytale castle with pretty dresses and big gardens to play in. It will distract her long enough. Eurydice cradles her in her arms and tells her to be good for Papae and Babae (Bull and the Chargers have been "contracted" as bodyguards for the children, but Bull needed little excuse to stay with his child or the rest that he has all but adopted as an uncle to). Bridget cries because that is what she must do, but it is better she does so now over the temporary separation than a real one. Maybe one day, the heartache won't even be a memory.
Lir clings to Cullen's leg and refuses to look at her. Cullen had told her that a few days prior, he had watched him put on his old armor and burst into tears. The sheer notion of both of them going back to war had shaken the headstrong, wily eight-year-old enough to grab his father's hand (the father he loved to annoy and prank and laugh at) and beg him not to die. Now, he can only look to the ground when Eurydice comes to him and touches his golden curls. Asks him to be kind to his father and the rest of Skyhold, at least until she comes back. She whispers into his hair as she holds him that he's good at making others smile. When she lets go, he runs back to Cullen's leg and hides his face into his side. He doesn't want her to see his tears.
Finally, she finds Zander on his own. Remote and cautious. He had already seen how cruel the world was before Lir and her found him starving and huddled in a charred ruin. It doesn't shake him like others when she announce she'd be leaving; some small part of him still didn't trust her or Cullen not abandon him. Or maybe it's the world he doesn't trust not to take them away and leave him alone once more. Either way, when she comes to him, he doesn't cry or bargain with her. He looks at her with his sea-foam eyes and simple acceptance, and this is what needs to happen. He nods somberly when she asks him if he remembers what she said two years ago when she brought him home. "That we would make the world safe for you."
That's what she must do now. He will be safe in this place with his family, and when she is done, he will be safe when he leaves these castle walls. Trust her to do that.
Zander doesn't say if he will, but he holds her a little tighter than the rest before she gets up and goes. His scent lingers on her the longest--for some reason, he always smells like the sea to her. When she's in Minrathous, and overlooks the water, she will remember his eyes, and her heart will ache.
