DAY 7: Summer!!!

Kiran summer alt real!!! Much like the Day of Devotion alt, I was actually toying with a design for this a while back, but never got around to cleaning it up. Which means its bonus sketch time! Yippee!

So this started as me wanting to draw that summer Sharena design after seeing xander-wolk take a crack at it, which you can find here. It was meant to be more of a warm up sketch but next thing I knew all four of my guys are on screen.

Then I explored the outfit a little more. Debated giving Kiran more dangly bits. But I ultimately settled on what usually works when drawing Kiran; throwing a coat on it.

Le test du jour, une aquarelle digitale de mon projet de BD: La Corde de Cheveux. Avec la minuscule et intrépide Anka, en pleine tentative de calinage de Kot Baïoun (ou Bayun), le chat monstrueux, baratineur et conteur de Baba Yaga. Il n'est, visiblement, pas fan, mais Baba Yaga aime bien la môme et son mentor est à peine moins terrifiant que Baba. --- The art test of the day, a digital watercolor illustration of my comic project: The Hair Rope. Here is the tiny fearless Anka trying to cuddle Kot Baioun (or Bayun), Baba Yaga's monstrous smooth-talker storyteller cat. He is, obviously, not amused, but Baba Yaga took a liking to the kid and her mentor is only slightly less terrifying than Baba. ---
