i'm part of an OSDD system, and im close friends with a few other people who like hftr. We tend to split introjects fairly easily.

We were talking to these close friends, and told them we had a Copper introject. These friends said "Knew it. We were betting that by tomorrow you'd have a hftr character. I thought it would be Amber tho"

Oh I'm so sorry i feel like any character from this is going to be a bummer to have as an introject

Listened to the first episode of Hymns for the Road (because I fucking love FUA and everything the strange cryptic reflective sunglasses wearing creator has created so far??? Of course I’m gonna listen to this shit)

I HAVE THEORIES LETS GO (spoilers obviously)

Ok so not a lot of theories but I’ve been thinking about this/talking about it with my friend who is also listening to HftR along with me.

First of all, I’m trying to figure out the group dynamic of the survivors. It’s hard to tell with only one episode, but I think Copper is the youngest/probably newer to their group. They don’t seem to know as much about the rules, and don’t remember as much of the old world as the rest of the group. Though they seem very handy with magic which was super interesting?? So excited to find out more.

Silver seems to share the braincell with Glass, love them already. Glass seems extremely competent and also seems to remember a lot of their old life?? Going by the “heartbreaks” they traded for supplies. Very interesting 🤔

Amber seems very chaotic and that is so valid. Though they also seem to know a lot about the creatures? fae? Fair folk? Cannot wait to see more of their shenanigans

ALSO THE NAMES. It cannot be a coincidence that they’re all named after materials. Me and my friend @spiraleel-blog were thinking that they’re probably using aliases to keep their real names from being taken by Something. They might have even gone through multiple sets with different themes?? Or they could just have really cool, strangely matching names 🙂🙂🙂🙂who knows🙂🙂🙂

Overall an amazing first episode. Got me hooked and curious to know more less than halfway through. Gonna be weird hearing the voice in know and love as Agent Nari Love be a completely different character, but I can get used to it. Gotta get a good image of these characters in my mind, though it’ll probably take a few more episodes.

This blog is run by @teacup-captor !! As of now I have no other SCP FUA rp accounts. I do however roleplay @copper-from-fall @ask-trashhunter and @the-spludge in the HFTR roleplay!!

Some basic boundaries, feel free to tag me in stuff, send me asks, be cringe, make mistakes, anything, really. Dumptruck doesn't have a single judgemental bone in his strangely bone-filled potato body.

By the side of the road, on the outskirts of somewhere, is a small house. What stands out most is all the colors on and around the house. Upon closer inspection, the yard seems to be full of loads of different kinds of decorations. Especially garden gnomes with massive noses and beards, and their eyes and mouth completely covered. The house is not only sloppily colored, but weirdly... distorted. Overhangs that don't make sense, certain part look kind of like they've... Melted?

And on one side of the house- you can make out a few words.

"PROPERTY OF THE SPLUDGE"

If you choose to approach, you get an even clearer look of everything. The yard is full of various dead flowers, the soil they're planted in covered in wet dripping paint. There's various rusted trinkets all over. Watering cans, wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, tools... Old children's toys, their color faded by the sun. A lot of water guns. And behind the house you can make out at least a few broken old swing sets. And of course the gnomes. There's many of them, and they're all distorted, painted, and most are broken in some way...

The house looks like it's painted very sloppily. Like whoever painted it could never decide on a color and just kept trying to paint over it all quickly, before they changed their mind. ...Actually, some of the spots are still wet.

On the porch, right by the door, there's various wind chimes, sun catchers, and more trinkets hung up by various threads, yarns and wires. Some electronic parts, some fidget toys, soda tabs, a pair of rusty scissors, and a few small plushies.

There's a doorbell painted vibrant green. It's still wet. When pressed, your finger of course gets green paint on it, but it also plays an oddly familiar tune... yet you can't quite place it. It sounds wrong.

The door opens not too long after.

*It... It didn't feel right. It was still comforting to lean on someone, but... Something was off. Copper decided not to comment on it. Their chest ached again.*

*Copper is sitting on the middle seat in the car, with Glass besides them. They said they wanted to be in the middle for a better view of the road ahead.*

*It's getting late, and Copper is starting to feel tired. They've also been way too stressed lately and probably need some relaxing to wind down.*

*They turn to their side to ask something, but they instinctually turn to face on the opposite side from where Glass sits. They feel a twinge of pain in their chest. They neither recognize nor understand it.*

*They turn to Glass*

Um- I know I've asked this before but it... Feels a little weird for some reason- like I haven't actually ever asked you- but can I lean on you?
