*These past few days, Copper hadn't been doing so well. They were getting tired for some reason, and small flowers were budding in their hair, and they'd started to grow all over their arms as well. On occasion they'd be a little wheezier than usual. Somehow... None of them had noticed. Copper had only noticed that they'd been getting itchier.*

*They had asked if they could stop for just 5 minutes to go pee. They found a place that looked safe enough. It didn't look like it... BELONGED to anyone, at least. Maybe they were wrong? They must have been. Because out of the blue, a green and white creature made of nothing but squares showed up. Copper yelped when they saw the angry face, and the blue floating energy. Then there was a blast. Copper was on the ground, struggling to see, absolutely incapable of hearing, bleeding from several wounds all over their body. As Copper lay on the ground, they can't help but think, this is somehow the fault of people with bad humor, that just can't accept when a joke is funny. If only there was more laughter in the world.*

*The group is driving again, to no one's surprise. Everyone's quiet. They're tired, and for once they're sort of enjoying the silence. At least Copper is. They're looking out of the window, looking at the mountains. There's patches of trees within the big empty fields of grass. There's spots with more and less snow. It's... Nice. Copper scratches their scalp. They don't notice the first few times- but now they suddenly feel like they're doing it a lot. Their scalp is... Really itchy. They don't notice- but there's a flower, just barely visible above their hair.*

*Copper had asked the group if they could stop anytime soon. They needed to go, it would just be 5 minutes they promised.

None of them felt particularly safe where they'd stopped, but the stop served its function.

Copper couldn't see what it was, but the others called for them to get back, quick.

Copper trips. They don't see, but they land on a few newly budding flowers. Definitely early for the season, but they were there nonetheless. And now they were squashed.

Copper gets up and runs back to the car, unscathed.
