I can’t help but feel as though the case of Luigi mangione has triggered a paradigm shift that has only just begun, yet has been so long coming. So used to, have we as Americans become of the working class being victimized and abused, that we have dismissed it because we’ve been led by capitalism to believe that they deserved it for not working hard enough, for not being patriotic enough, or not being high class enough to justify valuing them. But Luigi is different, he IS the rich, white collar, educated buisness man that corporate capitalism has deemed the ultimate goal of Americans, he is the poster boy of American idealism, and yet, even he fell victim to the system, and when he fought back agaisnt it, he was treated just as poorly as the common man. They are going to kill him. And if he’s not safe, nobody is. I’m calling this now, they’ll find a way to work around the death penalty restrictions in New York, and they will execute him to send a message to keep us in check so they can continue their reign of cruel and inhuman punishment and destruction. But they won’t realize the martyr they will have given us. The government keeps ensuring that the working class has nothing left to live for or to protect, not realizing that by doing so, they’re simultaneously giving them nothing left to loose by fighting back. And that my friends, is how revolutions begin.

A woman, as same as a man has a nervous system, and as long as you can be freely writing about a health disorder that starts from a head, it is a sign that your psycho health is in a condition that is communicative.
First visit a psychologist for a consultation.
About a psycho health a psychiatrist can explain you.
women are more likely than men to develop a mental illness but you rarely hear about women going on shooting sprees because men won’t be with us or love us or fuck us, bottom line, if you’re willing to relate mental illness and mass murder while also refusing to relate misogyny to women dying at the hands of men, then bye bye no time for you

Sick and tired of being mistreated
Corporate America is a fucking scam. You can slave, and slave, and slave, and it will never be good enough.
And this is not some generic "fuck capitalism" rant, this is coming from someone who was literally screwed out of a job and is more or less being held financially hostage.
I took this retail job with the promise that within six months I would be able to move up to the corporate level and work in something in the field that I got a degree in (communications and marketing).
I have been slaving since march, waking up early, walking and standing for 5-8 hours a day, being told I wasn't doing enough, being told I need to work harder, do better, move faster, more efficiently, and I did! I did so badly! because I wanted nothing more but to finally get a job in something that I studied and am passionate about.
So, come the six month mark, I make an official request to job shadow, and I get told no for "schedule adherence issues." According to them, I was coming in late every single day, which one look at my employee portal will state IS NOT TRUE. In fact, the only time I was "excessively late" was when i first started, but I fixed that right away and had only been late a handful of times since.
But, I couldn't leave yet. I stayed, because I thought maybe I could sway my manager somehow, maybe i could make something work, maybe I could fix it.
Then I found out that unless my manager changed her mind, I was stuck. And anyone who knows my manager knows she won't change her mind. So I kind of gave up. I became more careless, made more mistakes, but I stayed, because I need the money.
Today, the career advisor (who is supposed to help train us to move up in the company) made a surprise visit and had to tell one of my coworkers she wasn't getting the job shadow either.
Now, the thing with my coworker is, not only did she want to move out of the company, but out of all of us, she was the most qualified. She takes the bus and still makes it on time or early, she is a full time employee, she wears multiple hats to the point that our manager told her to DO LESS because she didn't want her (my coworker) to get burnt out, all the customers love her.
She was told today that she wasn't "doing enough" and that she wasn't eligible for the job shadow because she has opened an HR complaint against another coworker who keeps coming to work under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
And then our manager tried to gaslight her on what our career advisor said.
Never, in the history of jobs, has anyone been more qualified for a job, and my coworker still. won't. get. it, because if we aren't under our manager's foot, then she isn't happy, and because our manager isn't happy with her life, then we can't be happy with ours.
That's all it is. No one can be above my manager, no one can be beside my manager, only under, and she won't be happy until we're nothing but braindead slaves who only listen to her, or until we quit, or idk...die?
So, I quit. I maliciously complied until it was time to go home, and now I'm here, feeling like an idiot for even entertaining the idea that a person like her could ever be reasonable, and trying to find out how to print my timesheet to create a formal complaint with HR. Which they probably won't listen to anyways because she's been with the company for 13 years. My coworker isn't as lucky though and is trying to come up with an escape plan as I write this.
This is why people "don't want to work anymore," this is why gen z is so notoriously difficult to work with, because now, we're being gatekept from companies we already work for. It's not like I'm trying to become the CEO of Lockheed Martin with nothing but a high school diploma. I'm trying to become a social media manager for a national retail store that I already am an employee of, and I have the education to back me up.
My coworker has tons of experience in her preferred field of choice, and only took this job for the money, she should be able to thrive in her career, she should be able to leave.
But we're stuck. We're chained to some building that used to be a grocery store, by some manager who has nothing going for her but seniority in retail and a fuckass bob.
I'm sick of this.
I'm sick of being lied to. I'm sick of being treated like an idiot. I'm sick of this life.
Angie Benton go to hell.

The funniest/worst shit is, that our current system of capitalism isn't even good at making money. Instead it's run by greedy money goblins who will gladly burn down a totally good, functioning business, if it means pleasing daddy shareholder with their next quarterly earnings report. And once they've sucked one company dry they just parachute off to suck the souls of the next five companies.

at university he meets dabin, whom he gets married to in 2020 do u hear the wedding bells rn!!!
after years of grief and grinding the cogs of the coporate machine, the universe finally seems to be on his side!! he's got the wife, the job, the money, the looks - for the first time in life he feels the envy of other people, an alien emotion to him since he came from nothing and rarely ever stopped his grind to smell the roses
but life is cruel.... his wife dabin passes away in 2022, plummeting him into a deep depression
in an effort to take his mind off his devastating grief, his sister takes him on a trip to switzerland, where they both die in a car accident on an icy road
hajoon has been in ansong since january/february 2024 and currently works as a barista at sweet bean café after discovering that coffee is one of his passions

Still fascinates and infuriates me that the writer and director of "Planetes" (my favourite anime of all time, and a masterpiece of not just the medium but a great stand by of art in general), went from the best anime to making "Code Geass", one of the worst. Swings and roundabouts. From a story about humanity's place amongst the stars, the class system, coporate culture, capitalism and how these things will stifle the human spirit and human progress but we will strive to do good anyway; to "what if high school mech suits, and the tone was Machiavelli but with a horny schoolboy who knew neither that it was a parody nor what consistency, characters, plot, pacing and consequences were?" (I know it sounds hyperbolic, but for the footprint that anime has, it is disproportionately ASS)

So I want to start this with the sentiment in the above post is generally on point. But it still in many ways falls into the same basic trap that “just recycle, it’s good for the enviroment” advertisements/programs did and still do. Which is placing blame for the climate issues at the feet of consumers when really it is almost entirely the fault of corporations. Secondly I find several of these points to be well, not quite where they need to be all things considered. so yeah, gonna get my “Um Actually” on here. Point one misses the most important most green and most sustainable energy source we currently have, and that is Nuclear.  Hands down it is the safest and most enviromentally friendly at the moment. Solar, Wind, tidal, and geothermal all have issues that keep them from being there. and I can rather quickly break them all down, but to start with Nuclear the big benifit there is that it is solved already. It is ready to go, as it stands now. there are not any lingering doubts or questions or tech yet to be developed for Nuclear power (with the exception I suppose of fusion but that is really an entierly different beast).
The others on the other hand very much so do have questions left  Now for the others there are some really big stumbling blocks on all four of them to be actually the solutions we want them to be. Let’s start with Hydro power. Dams are just in general horrible things for the local enviroment. It screws fish over so very badly, utterly and radically changes the flow and foot print of a river and can not be built everywhere without some rather drastic and damaging impacts. Further as anyone whose been paying attention to the water crisis in the South West of the USA will tell you they are not nearly as relyable as they appear. and that when it stops raining they could easily become useless. which is a problem under current climate projections. Wind seems nice until you start to look at some of the stumbling blocks on it. It can’t be built everywhere, it requires large open swaths of land, and most importantly we don’t really have the right materials yet to make them work well. The blades need regular replacements in many areas as the weather degrads them and the problem is they still need to be strong and light which means plastics and metals that are not so good for digging up, or are in increasingly short supply. In particular offshore wind turbines are proving to be difficult to keep stocked with blades with out adding to the issues of microplastics in the ocean, and offshore wind is basically the most accessible for the vast majority of places that could use wind.
Solar has the issue of materials as well, along with relatively short lifespans of the pannels themselves and the fact that they are really hard to recycle. All fixable and probably will be soon enough but we are talking five to ten years still before these kinks get worked out and that’s just the pannels themselves. Solar to be functional needs batteries, and let me tell you batteries are very very bad for the enviroment as it stands now. Lithium mines are absolutely horrid, and we don’t have any real good alternatives. Solar is just not where it would need to be to be a real solution to our engery needs.
Geothermal is arguably the least in need of ruther development but is also the most limited solution to the energy crisis, it just can’t be built in most of the world, and there are still potential issues with drilling holes in volcanically active locations to put in a power plant. but for where it does work it is pretty rad. it just well doesn’t tend to work well outside of Greenland.
Or you know we could use the power source that is already solved and could be built anywhere in the world, and could (baring funding) be used to replace every single combustion based powerplant on the planet today if we wanted. Nuclear is the solution we have right now and could use. and We should. But you know while we do that we should also be still developing those other sources, and fusion while we are at it. On to point two: This is where you get into the consumer blaming and pushing the fault off the real perpetrators a bit. It is all good and fine to say things would be better if we stopped eating so much meat but let’s be fair here, there is really only two industries in the meat/animal product that need drastic change if not out right stopping and that is the Cow and fishing industries. the enviromental impact of chickens, pigs and other lesser eaten animals is effectively nothing compared to the prior two I mentioned, and well frankly some of us can’t really do a vegan or vegetarian diet. And I mean that medically. Plant based proteins are not the same and there are medical conditions that require outside of standard amounts of particular protein types that make such diets even harder to sustain. But by all means reduce or otherwise find an alternate solution to cows, and find better and more sustainable ways to farm fish. But that is primarily in the hands of the industry and not the people eating said animals. Point three is a small one for me but important one. the word travel isn’t really the right one. commute is the problem. Not travel in of itself. And with better tech travel for vactions and what not would be mostly negllible all things considered it is really the high end travel options and well flying that is a problem. but compared to the problem created by daily commutes even the luxary stuff is a drop in the swimming pool on enviromental impact. reduce commute times and that would solve most of the negative impact. and while I’ve already mentioned it above, Electric cars have the same enviromental concerns as solar power does, which is that the way we currently make batteries is really really bad for the enviroment (at the very least locally tot he mines) and is not quite the solution we want it to be because of this. More densely packed cities and much improved public transit would alleviate this for the most part but let’s be fair this here is a complaint almost entirely levvied at the USA. Seven feels like the worst of the blaming the indiviual and not the actual culprets aka the corporations. making our own cloths is just not feasible for most people, especially since the closest way it would be, which is buying fabric and sewing it yourself would effectively be meaningless in the impact enviromentally. and there is no way even a small percentage of the population could put asside time to make their own cloth. Making cloth is really really time intensive. The problem with clothes is not who makes them (well outside of the humanitarian issues of how the people who do are paid and treated) but that they are built to be disposable when they really shouldn’t be. Fast Fashion is the problem not the act of buying clothes. Clothes can be made to last even by big factories and what not. It is just not profitable for them to be so, and hence again this is a problem that can not be solved by the indiviual but by dismantling the corporations that currently exist and mandating better practices. and you know proper pay and safe environments for their workers. So TL’DR uh yeah but like let’s point the fingers at the real problem and that is capitalism and you are right radical change is going to have to happen, and it will require the collective comunities to make sure when it does happen that the oligarchs of the world don’t just shift the way things are done while keeping themselves in power. Because things hae to and will change in the near future. Capitalism is in its deaththroes, and as long as ti doesn’t take us down with it, change willl happen. but we need to be aware and present to make sure we don’t trade one yolk for a different one.
It’s solar and wind and tidal and geothermal and hydropower.
It’s plant-based diets and regenerative livestock farming and insect protein and lab-grown meat.
It’s electric cars and reliable public transit and decreasing how far and how often we travel.
It’s growing your own vegetables and community gardens and vertical farms and supporting local producers.
It’s rewilding the countryside and greening cities.
It’s getting people active and improving disabled access.
It’s making your own clothes and buying or swapping sustainable stuff with your neighbours.
It’s the right to repair and reducing consumption in the first place.
It’s greater land rights for the commons and indigenous peoples and creating protected areas.
It’s radical, drastic change and community consensus.
It’s labour rights and less work.
It’s science and arts.
It’s theoretical academic thought and concrete practical action.
It’s signing petitions and campaigning and protesting and civil disobedience.
It’s sailboats and zeppelins.
It’s the speculative and the possible.
It’s raising living standards and curbing consumerism.
It’s global and local.
It’s me and you.
Climate solutions look different for everyone, and we all have something to offer.

re: the gamer thing. i don't think it's fully coporate bus throwing (to say so would be a massive over simplification of gamer culture's nazi problem) but i do think there is an element of game companies not defending or protecting devs of color, woman devs, and lgbt devs when they are wrongfully (or correctly, but overly) blaimed for problems with a game, contributing to the overall gamer bigotry problem.
and of course the way woman, poc, and lgbt ppl are treated WITHIN these companies sets the tone for how gamers react and informs how they treat these types of characters in thier games. which ALSO informs how gamers act.
basically it all boils down to capitalism fuck hell forver nightmare realm x10 damage modifer. or whatever.

An education is a basis of all qualifications.
A required qualification meets a work`s description based on a law.
Without the required qualification an employee won`t be able to do even a single task in a correct manner.
Who designed chatGPT in your country?
A product designer is required.
A lack is a proof that a market is based on a fraud to defraud an amount of monies from the fraud that was made in a different country.
A gang based on an organized crime is doing it.
A psychologist can be employed in a local police office because the psychologist based on a psychology can verify a behaviour among people.
i've now read multiple news articles from multiple different countries in which students are (potentially falsely) accused of using a chatbot to write their essays, and we're really at the point now where if you're submitting a paper on anything, you need to be protecting yourself against accusations like this. we currently don't have any way to really verify if something is written by ai from a finished piece of writing, and-- get this-- how schools have been finding this ai-generated essays is by asking chatGPT if an AI might have written the paper in question. obviously this is hugely concerning, as chatGPT and other AI are very fallable, and i'm not in any way convinced they actually has the sophistication to do this sort of work. this means that for literally every student studying right now, your academic career could be destroyed in a moment because a chatbot thinks they might have written parts of your paper (if your teachers happen to agree).
fortunately, it's very easy to prove that you wrote a paper, so long as you plan for this outcome ahead of time. the way to do this is to basically save copies of your work at every possible stage of the writing process. written a few paragaphs? save a copy. done half a draft and are calling it a night? save a copy. finished your first draft? save a copy. done a little bit of editing? save a copy. any proof of work you can show might be the evidence that debunks the idea that a particular word or phrase was pulled from a chatbot. and if you're working on googledocs, as high-schoolers often do, it autosaves your version history - so keep it handy and don't delete your old documents until a few years after you've finished your course.
once you're accused, it'll be too late. you don't want to get stuck in an argument where your entire future rides on you convincing one person that an AI didn't write your paper. get in the habit of saving copies of drafts to show proof of work. it's the best way to demonstrate that you did in fact write the thing that you wrote.

I’m getting the impression that my phone is old enough that apple is slowing it down so I buy a new one. My apps have been crashing ALL THE TIME and they refresh whenever I leave and come back. Knowing Apple is known for making phones do stuff like this so you buy a new phone, I’m also assuming there’s a way I can fix it. I just bought a new case and if I buy a new phone chances are it’s gonna have to be bigger and I have the BEST frog phone case and there’s no way I’m getting rid of it so basically does anyone have any advise for how to fix this?
