Here's my dead dumb simple reciepe for Onion Soop.

-for 4 people, 6~7 nice big white onions. You can use the old ones you don't want to use fresh or for more elaborate cooking. The ones with the green stalk.

-slice em

-in the pot, fry them in olive oil so they catch some color. don't be a scrooge with oil, you're just eating onion and water after all, you tiny body needs to survive the Night.

-add a good ~ liter of water. Dont use another pot: less washing things. Liters is a unit of measurement: do the maths, I'm not your Google mom (unless you want me to be 😏)

-salt

-or a dash of soy sauce if ur fancy

-pepperPEPPER please, season your food

-BROTH CUBE chicken broth/veggetable broth are good. I prefer veggie broth because sometimes I'm Cooking for a cutie little vegan person. No broth works but know that it's just not the same.

-cook for at least 40 minutes. Veeeery low fire. Don't go evaporate all your water. Always cover your pot: you're using less energy that way.

-Better tasting the next day and the day after. No need to refrigerade. It's onion, the ancient symbol of rebirth, onion is undestructable.

-on a cold night, will close you wounds and lift your sorrow. Your mom will bless your name.

-if you don't have to seduce cutie vegan that night because they're away just put cheese in it, lots of cheese.

-be ready to maybe fart a lot.
