There is little cream cheese flavor and the crust was really crumbly. It was still good, but I really wanted a slice of cheesecake. Maybe next week? Cookies and Cream Cheesecake Slice 

This recipe is a crowd pleaser. I think its the only cake I have made in the last 2 years. The people love it! (Kathleen). 

350g Oreo Origional Cookies

80g Butter, melted 

375g block Philadelphia cream cheese, cubed and softened 

1/2 cup caster sugar 

1 teaspoon vanilla essence 

1 cup thickened cream 

2 teaspoons powered gelatine, dissolved in 1/4 cup boiling water (mixed very well) 

200g white chocolate, melted and cooled slightly 

1. Place 250g Orea cookies in a food processor and process into fine crumbs. Add the butter and process to combine. Press the mixture into an 18cm x 28cm cake tin lined with baking paper and refrigerated for 30 mins. 

2. Beat the philly, sugar and vanilla with an electric mixture until smooth, then beat in the cream. Stir through the gelatine mixture and white chocolate. 

3. Roughly chop the remaining cookies and stir through the philly mixture then pour over Oreo base. Cover and refrigerate until set. Cut into slices or squares. 

TIP: I always store in the freezer so it is like ice cream.
