“Miss Beauford!” Aubrey scooted around the corner of the school gates slightly scattered, she’d run the last quarter mile to the school thinking she was late to pick up today’s charge when in reality she’d read the screen of her phone wrong and she was actually now half an hour early. “I’m so sorry I’m late, is Daisy inside?” Slight breathless as she took a second to stop in front of the teacher, panting. It was only then that she noticed through the window the classroom still had a load of kids in it with the teaching assistant. Shit. 

“I’ve fucked it up again, haven’t I? Jesus christ - why do I keep doing this? You’d think by twenty five I’d know how to tell the time. Maybe I need to drop into a couple classes here to brush up on my skills.” Laughing as she checked her phone once more, confirming what she’d now discovered. “I’m early. Well, that’s a turn for the books. Aubrey Carson is early for once in her life!” The blonde just babbling in a breathless stream of consciousness to the poor teacher in front of her, half laughing.

“No, you are the worst! I’m not the one looking like not just a snack but in fact an entire meal, and expecting everyone else to just go about their evening as if nothing happened!” She shot Kat a wink, a shrug of her shoulders accompanied by a laugh following quickly after. “Fair. I promise I won’t tell anyone where you’re hiding…maybe…if you’re nice to me.” Aubrey had no issue with making herself look like a total idiot doing some line dancing but chances are she’d enjoy it more if she had a couple of shots under her belt. “You think? "You are the worst." She lied, shaking her head as the laugh bubbled up from her chest. "I will hide outside if they say we all have to join in." Or maybe play the chronically ill card and pretend like she needed a seat. She didn't do that often, but Kat had no interest in embarrassing herself in front of a whole club full of people. Though--- if Aubrey knew at little as she did, then maybe it wouldn't be the end of the world. "Alright, alright." A roll of her eyes as she gave in. I think Hamayu did mention various nobility supporting Natsuka over the Prince, but this does re-confirm from someone in the thick of it that there's outright faction interests going on.

We haven't seen any maids or anyone go by, and they seem to be in a closed room. Who does Kiei think might be listening in, and if Yukiya hasn't been kicked out yet does he really have that much faith that Yukiya's been able to keep his mouth shut around the Prince for two whole weeks? That's the only reason I can think for him to shush there, that he's worried Yukiya's comment about the Prince just being another raven might seem... heretical? Generally disrespectful?

But Yukiya literally gives zero fucks about all this!!! At all!!! Kiei should know that! Yukyia does not care about other peoples's placements, he just wants to go back home to Taruhi and take his place as the second son. Going off about the Prince and Natsuka is only going to bring Yukiya's trauma back up, or make him feel even less incentive to find out info to help Shiratama with.
