I was on a cruise and the defining feature of the cruise was that there was a continental breakfast every morning. Everyone I knew was also on the cruise but no one wanted to sit with me at breakfast, so I tried to sit alone and one of the staff members came over and told me to get up so, “someone with actual friends could eat.”

I think it's stupid that we have to make ourselves look socially presentable to go down to the continental breakfast at hotels. If I want to go down looking like the feral goblin queen who just came out of the woods, I should be able to.

My friend and I just went from talking about spoon theory to imaging up this person who walks around with spoons clanging in their pockets and just hands them out to people
