I had another go at designing my character by drawing out a basic human form shape which I learned from the pdf on moodle. I then worked over the top of this and then scanned this into the computer to finalise it digitally. I really like the outcome of this character and I think I captured the light and the proportions well. The plasticine model did help me add shadows to my drawing as I looked back at the photos of the model to see where the light fell. I am going to create this character again but from different angles as this is something I need to practice.

How long will this situation define us??

"Illness, although not defining, definitely shapes the life and identity of the patient and his/her caregivers. Body as a tool of communication between the self, memory, other bodies (living and non-living) and space. I see it as a process of decay and a vessel that holds memories of despair, terror, hopelessness and conversely the transient nature of life and its preciousness which helps in coming to terms with scars of abuse, taboo, violence, and illness."

The fine traditional materials preliminary explores the actions within the territory state of the natural curiosity, the possibility in my contemporary art practice. The artworks may form a larger body of research that explore the notion of the pacific eye, which may provoke the Moana in creativity of destruction in the work of traditional craft-making ability to shift. Speaking of visibility, cultural significance and presence while proclaiming proudly the unseen and seen aspects inherent in the creative process. The captivation of the beauty in manipulating the materials physically and in an emotional state, that interest of despoiling and lashing its significant togetherness. The withhold and dismantle of my art practice culturally deform weirdly.
