Secondly, we have news. Good news. Very very exciting news.

That's right, baby. War's end au is at long last so, so close to being ready for its script. Which, of course, means it's also time for a new name.

From here on out, the comic for the war's end au will be called Sonic Resolve. Because who's got more of it than the blue blur?

We're all so unbelievably excited about this whole project, and even more excited about getting down to work actually scripting!

That being said, it will probably be several more months before the script is fully polished. Still, we hope everyone is even a fraction of as excited as we are!

hello! i just wanted to ask what the process for deciding on prompts is and how far along you guys are :O

The process as we've decided it is that we're going to try to simplify the prompts that we've gotten, and then from there try to boil down 12 that give both a wide range for creative work and also takes the vibe from the suggestions (and then hand you all a big list of aro-vibes to do with what you want forever and ever -- or use for the free prompt day!)

We aim to be done within the next week at the latest!

While prone to delving into the most forbidden places and abusing the most blasphemous of brews by their very nature, there remains one substance even the most depraved perfumers dare not toy with: the scarlet rot.

While the brewing of virulent poisons and blood-boiling toxins is the mainstay of any depraved perfumer's gruesome arsenal and trade, by its very nature scarlet rot prevents experimentation and thus exploitation through mortal meddling. As the influence of an Outer God expressed, scarlet rot isn't an element to be bound or manipulated but an eradicator of incomparable strength... for anything that comes into contact with scarlet rot does not act upon it but is acted upon instead. As a result any brew that contains even the smallest amount of scarlet rot is rendered neutral, for the rot will consume everything it can to propagate itself.

As such, depraved perfumers prefer to utilize things adjacent to the scarlet rot in their alchemical pursuits rather than struggle in vain against the substance directly. Bark from the "trees" that grow in Caelid after the Bloom of Aeonia are commonly used to enhance poisons, oftentimes creating a terrible burning sensation in pale imitation to the suffering undergone by a true scarlet rot infection.

Trapped in the shield, the seraphim lets out a low growl, glaring with red seething eyes. In his hand remains the jar, the blood now split upon the carpet or already slurped down. It wasn’t much, but all that was needed to feed the whispers. Lucid tossed the jar away, letting it shatter to pieces as he approached the shield wall.

Up close thin dark roots can be seen at the corners of Lucid’s eyes and edges of his apple cheeks. The feathers of his once sky blue wings were now a deep blue that nearly presents as black.
