I've had an idea for an au rumbling around my mind for a while now.
I don't know how many of you have read or ever heard of Beware Of Chicken, but in the first chapter, the protagonist Jin Rou dies But is able to hold on to life by clinging on to an ancestral spirit from another realm. Essentially, using the spirit's energy to drag both of them back into his body, saving his cultivation. The spirit just so happens to be a Canadian farmer.
Basically, it's the original owner of the body. And the trans migrator sharing a body and whoever's experiencing the most intense emotions at any given time is the one controlling the body and when the Transmigrator wakes up the first time after they both come back to life in Jin Rou's Body, he freaks out because he knows the genre he knows the tropes. And decides to just nopes the hell out of the entire situation and Leaves the sect to go become a farmer in the most unimportant province in the entire Empire.
Gradually, over the course of years their souls gradually fuse into one. So by the end of the third book in the series, they're 1 person With the memories of both.
So now I want an alternate universe where. Sj and sy Get stuck together in the same body and Leave the sect as officially asuppose to Become A rogue cultivator and start studying Animals and Plants. Eventually meeting lb When he's assigned to a night hunt And some of the Older disciples Recognize him.
There's no system in this au So everyone just thinks he went a little bit insane after his key deviation And decided to just leave for his own sake. But it looks like He's doing much better Now that he's not the peak Lord anymore. Over the course of a few years and a lot of chance meetings lb Falls in love With the combined sjsy.
I think a lot of this story would be dedicated to the shen's dealing with their past traumas and Constantly arguing in their own head, but helping each other get Over there past and build a future they can actually live in.

"I can report that my second time in the NCRM was less emotional — probably because I knew what to expect — but also because I was trying to see the exhibits through the eyes of my children. It did not take very long before one of my kids started asking the kinds of questions that make America’s history sound so stupid." My kids asked all of the questions I’d want them to ask, and they all started with “Why?” and frankly, I didn’t have a worthy response to any of their questions. I have had those questions for years myself. But I was proud of them for recognizing and voicing their concerns and asking about and appreciating the history on display. My kids get it and for that, I’m happy and proud."

Pastor Magic
Magic, in its truest form, does not dwell in the artifice of tricks or the fleeting spectacle of illusion. It resides in the invisible threads that tether us to realms unseen, in the quiet communion between what is and what was. These are the shadows that trail us from our yesterdays—spectral imprints of forgotten desires, untended wounds, and whispered sorrows. In our pursuit of clarity, society…

hopeless time loop. the way out isn’t to save everyone. the way out isn’t to save even one person. the way out isn’t to change anything. the way out is accepting how it happened the first time is how it always will be. that’s how you acted, that’s how they acted, that’s how you would have acted every time if you weren’t given the curse of hindsight. the way out is accepting you can’t fix the past; you can only forgive yourself for it.

"What have they done to you,
Old friend."
Trapped in the fade, Solas comes face to face with the remnant of his spirit.
The Dread Wolf was his wisdom, mirror to his pride. In the wake of the wrathful Evanuris, it too, has succumbed to their taint.
Or, where I'm making wild plot speculations surrounding Solas trapped in the fade. while turning my brainrot into art pieces and gifs. I'M PACING MY ENCLOSURE. Looking for crumbs and scrabs of Veilguard. Please Bioware I'm begging, feed me. 😭

I need to write about how Jun Wu's belief that everyone has the capacity for evil, if you just push them hard enough, torment them long enough, is directly contradicted by the entire story of tgcf, which posits that, actually everyone has the capacity for good. The misogynistic womanizer, the depraved cannibal, the man dead set on revenge, the one filled with envious resentment, are all able to do the right thing when it comes down to it. In a way, doing good is a surrender, it's giving up, it's as easy as falling asleep. And it's so much easier than letting the evils of your past dog your heels for hundreds of years. Isn't it such a release to change? To not be stuck in your old ways?

don't y'all just think jeremy knox is on a downhill trajectory. like he's been bottling up emotions and faking smiles and stepping carefully around his family members for at least like four (?) years at this point and even though laila and cat seem to know what happened with him he never really confides in them that we see? he's hiding so much from everyone (including the fucking readers, ok oddly aware narrator) and i think it's all just building up to some implosion.

Tbh I'm not sure König and Krueger would like eachother very much, don't get me wrong I adore art of them together being Austrian bros, but like- Krueger litteraly killed his own people, fellow Austrians... And their personalities would clash so much-
Like at first, when they meet, I think König's Anxiety is immediately set off by Krueger's weird off-putting vibe, he's kind of jokey? And always smirking/grinning, but there this look in his eyes... Like he knows something you don't, and König hates that. And if he gets too curious and gets his hands on Krueger's dossier, or hears from word of mouth what he did? I think König keeps his distance... If König wasn't working alongside Krueger, he'd probably want him dead. And see to that himself.
And Krueger probably gets a kick out of messing with König, he loves that this big intimidating guy is actually so easy to get to. He barely has to try. Its like a game to him. He won't leave König alone, even if König is trying his best to avoid him.
If they do have any kind of relationship, it's probably one sided and mean :(

Always a bit puzzled by people saying that anyone who wanted long-term consequences for TotK Zelda's sacrifice are "edgy".
I'm not even particularly in the camp that she should have remained a dragon forever (I think this should have been Ganondorf's fate, it would have been sooo much more impactful than to explode him and move on but anyway). To be honest, I wish the rules for turning back would have been 1) clear 2) active gameplay on the player so that it feels like it's something we have earned, and 3) not make her have amnesia about it and/or at least having her gain some crucial insight because of the experience.
(also: doesn't she crave knowledge? isn't that insanely mean to have her watch over every civilization and every bit of history ever and then take it away from her? kind of dislike how totk privileges the comfort of the player's feelings over what the characters would actually want or need tbh)
To be perfectly honest, I fully expected us needing to turn her back before engaging Ganondorf so we would fight him together, especially since Zelda as a compagnon exists in the game code already (though in a very subdued state). It feels very very strange to me that all of this mechanic of Sages following us existing and yet we never have the very climactic cool Zelda-staple moment of facing Ganondorf or Ganon together (OoT, WW, TP, ST and probably more that I'm forgetting all did this in some way --even BotW had Zelda more involved than in TotK). I'm not sure Mineru was a compagnon that was needed over Zelda honestly, especially given the kind of non-insight she gives us on the zonai (even if the idea of the mecha is cool, it really could have been Zelda using her zonai + sheikah knowledge to pilot one for us or something).
But anyway: yeah, even if this isn't what I would have wanted personally, I think wanting Zelda to remain a dragon is kind of arguably more respectful of her relationship to Link, in a way, that what the game ended up doing. When she enacted this sacrifice, Zelda decided to trust him to such a extent that she lost herself, reciprocated his trust in her and his devotion to her, and now the future of Hyrule exists beyond her and beyond what Hyrule once was, but she trusts them to follow through and be happy and she will watch over them from the stars moving on. It's fine if we manage to save her from that fate, but even if we don't, honestly this sounds like a beautiful story/tragic romance to me, if you want to read it that way. Tragedy doesn't necesserily involve edginess. Fictional pain isn't always mean, or out to get you.

me when my meteor-powered robot gf attempts to murder me 😳😳
#context:#after Bortom city recognized Beatrix as a threat and began persecuting her‚ she became widely known#A great reward would be given to those who captured the runaway android‚ and most people feared her.#To sum it up‚ she was alone in her journey and refusing to trust anyone so easily.#The persecutions got worse when more cities allied themselves with Bortom. This attracted robot hunters.#At some point‚ Beatrix met this golden-eyed‚ humanoid shadow that always seemed to watch her from afar#It wouldn't stop following her‚ until it was close enough to initiate a confrontation#Beatrix was basically FED UP with the persecutions and so she fought using her fists... while he had a gun.#The bullets couldn't cause great damage‚ and were actually microchips designed to stunt robotic enemies#Beatrix barely resisted the effects and managed to take down the other... who raised its hands in defeat.#Imagine the situation: She's literally got him on the ground‚ fist raised to deliver a powerful blow while he's SHAKING IN HIS BOOTS#Turns out the microchips take effect‚ and Beatrix attempts to escape before it's too late... But her systems go off abruptly#...Then she wakes up in this cozy workshop of sorts. She goes outside and BOOM!!!#A ship moved by machinery? Robots living peacefully? People walking past her without batting an eye? This must be a dream!#She's finally found Fusionsprunt (or was found but it). The city built for and by rebells like her.#and about the golden-eyed enemy? yeah uh. that's Hunter. of course that was Hunter. he could NOT resist making a dramatic appearance.#the mysterious enemy is actually just some silly guy w workaholic tendencies father of a prodigy and who also enjoys piloting his spaceship#fusionsprunt#fusionsprunt hunter#fusionsprunt beatrix

okay i will admit it: i don't like 431 from a narrative standpoint (or really any standpoint) but if you view it exclusively as the true epilogue in an alternate universe of mha in which 5 year old katsuki is right about deku looking down on him and doing everything to spite him and wanting to bring about his downfall then the whole thing becomes kind of absurdly funny
