Modern AU Suguru whose guilty-non-guilty pleasure idea of fun is to make people fall in love with him (just because he can) meets you, the new transfer, at the office and instantly decides you’re his next target.

He’s befriends you right off the bat. Seeks you out between breaks for a quick chat. Tries to get to know you more. Invites you out for an occasional drink that turns into full blown dinners and walks home. He gifts you little trinkets he finds reminding him of you— hold on. Wait a minute, Suguru’s world screeches to a halt with utmost urgency. Since when did he start to look forward to texting you first thing in the morning? Since when did he carve out a routine to see you outside of work at least once a week? Since when did he anticipate to see your smile, hear your laughter? Since when did his thoughts start to run circles around you every night before he sleeps? Since when did he start planning to have you meet his two disaster best friends? Since when, since when, since when—

Geto goes through a ‘minor’ crisis realising that he ended up falling in love with you instead of the intended other way ‘round. Gojo cackles so hard his sunglasses slips off his face, boisterous laughter only amplified by Ieiri’s, “I told you, dumbass.”, but the dark-haired man is still in denial nonetheless.

“There’s no way, Shoko—”, because where did he falter? When did he slip up? It’s not even his first rodeo, so why did this happen?? “—and shut up, Satoru!”

“And there’s no way his hair isn’t white.”, unimpressed and utterly over Geto’s shit, Ieiri blows a cloud of smoke into his face, strangely annoyed and sympathetic. Okay, maybe not that strangely. Maybe it’s her conscience kicking in because you’re actually a great friend to her and she’d hate to see you gone because of the man bun wearing block-head. “Get your shit together before it’s too late, Suguru.”

And maybe Geto should. Yeah. No. He definitely should. Like hell is he losing you to some lame baker who makes stale pastries 3 blocks down from your home (it’s not stale, he’s just jealous) or to that desperate creep from the company next door (they’re actually just an extrovert, he’s just jealous), and especially not to Fushiguro fucking Toji of all damn people (that’s a married and devoted man to his wife, he’s just jealous). So yeah, Suguru’s going to get his shit together alright.

i want the crowns to exist in some way (in this au the 'cults' are represented as the bishops influence over the specific area of Olden Faith Ave) + love it when theres magic going on sooo ive had a few ideas

i think the bishops 'god' status would be represented by something On their person (for nari; she has a pin on her vest that looks like the red crown! and has a giant tattoo on her back as well <3), and also theyre just straight up immortal/way stronger than a regular person

stuff like the mini bosses perhaps have a small accessory of sorts on them that is kinda like a statement of "more trusted/has more power", and definitely stronger than the average person (the witnesses would be even stronger) (hierarchy would be like. bishops > witnesses > mini bosses > lackeys)

these little accessories are also kinda like a 'bind' of sorts? kinda like saying to everyone that "this one has MY power and represents me", im also having way more fun and just saying that its kinda like the bishops are sharing a small bit of power directly from their 'crown'/'godlihood' (i'll find a better way to describe it eventually LMAO)

for Nari + Ines; she gave them a pretty big portion of that power in the form of a ring, did NOT tell them what it was for until they realised "holy shit, this thing can turn into a weapon. and i am Way stronger. what." and then later turned it into an earring because it being a ring flustered them way too much

Nari did this because Ines is the only person she has to deal with her siblings (still doesnt trust Jahel to not betray them lol), and so hes trying to give them a Massive fighting chance here.

"but what about Jahel?" well, they also have some of this power. wonder how they got that though 👀.....

i honestly have no idea how you judge your fic but my fave captain america fics are the not easily conquered series - pretty canon divergent, as in steve survives ice crash but imo does a really good job of engaging with the canon events and reckoning with how his life would develop in that situation; and if they haven't learned your name - written before cap 3, so entirely canon divergent post-tws, very humorous, contains possibly my favorite natasha of any fic i've read

What’s a fic trope, plot bunny, or character variation that you want someone to write for Rumbelle, but no one ever has?

okay I've been sitting on this for a while bc as soon as I saw this question, I completely forgot what rumbelle fics I wanted to read haha but now I think I have my answers:

Adventurer Belle continues to travel with Mulan and Philip as they try to find Aurora. Belle and Rumple keep on almost crossing paths until they finally bump into each other in some way? Idk I just want more of Belle having adventures with Mulan and Philip, and Rumple eventually seeing her in that outfit haha

Gold and amnesiac!Belle from the beginning of the Lacey episode get to know each other and fall in love all over again. There is that line about them helping each other and that soft look between them that I would really love to see explored

On the flip side, Lacey and Gold terrorize the town after the Lacey episode. I know that there are lots of Golden Lace fics but I don't think there are any of Golden Lace getting up to shenanigans around town. I am specifically thinking about that scene of them threatening Whale. Just more of them getting drunk, having lots of sex in the pawnshop, and terrorizing the town. Added bonus if there is exploration of Lacey's line of "Could you keep me young?...Cause then we can be together forever." Like what if Gold actually did that?? And what would be the consequences??? Though I guess that could be its own fic haha

Detectives AU - I just really want to read a fic about Belle and Ariel having their own detective agency and then Rumple is either a client or a rival detective that they have to work together with on a case Thanks for the ask! It was really fun to revisit fic ideas that I've had in my mind for a while (but momentarily forgot about haha). If there are any fics like these or if anyone writes one, please let me know! I would love to read them :)

Hmmm, favorite fic I've ever written... That's probably a tie between Coffee Jitters (davekat 🍎🦀) and Legendary Infinite Showers! (dirkjake 🎃)

I really liked writing Coffee Jitters because it has a bunch of Pesterlogs in it (←fave thing ever!) and because I think you can tell I had a blast with it! And Legendary Infinite Showers because it was quite the challenge, but I still really like the concept!

but yea, this snippet is from the chapter where Steve and Dustin finally meet for the first time!! they're driving from Steve's to Dustin's house and transitions into a recount of the scene in the car from canon

Steve set the nail-bat in the trunk before getting in and putting in the tape, playing from where he left off and turning to Dustin.

“Okay so.. your house?”

“Yeah, it's by the school. I'll give you directions when we get close.”

He nodded and pulled back out onto the road.

“Also, just to warn you, D’art is kinda… aggressive. And he looks pretty scary, but he was really cute and sweet when he was tiny so I don’t know why he’s so mean now but-” he cut himself off.

Steve raised an eyebrow.

“But?”  he prompted. Dustin took a breath.

“It might be because he’s hungry.”

What the fuck.

There was silence for a moment as he tried to process what Dustin was implying.

“Wait a sec, how big is he??”

“First he was like that,” he said, showing size with his pointer finger and thumb, “Now he’s like this.” He held up both hands a good foot and a half apart. That was hard to believe.
