someone mentioned the rose maple moth is spamton colours which naturally made me want to draw moth mini spamton, BUT THEN I remembered plot for soot boi
Long story short, soot sprite Ralsei is a the remnant of the dying Dark Fountain, being a soot sprite means he has the potential "spark" to re-ignite the Dark Fountain again. Some more plot happens and our little soot sprite (along with Kris) goes through trials and tribulations (7 to be exact) to obtain a 'soul' of his own; our little soot sprite becomes an ember. That spark to ignite the Dark Fountain anew!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's a mysterious 'wizard' that looks after the Fountain, the one who created the walled-off city to protect it, and he's getting desperate to save the Fountain he had so lovingly cared for and powered, even utilizing the little soot sprites it seems to spit out! I can absolutely see him sending out a little special variant of spamton to confirm that Ralsei does indeed have the [LIGHT] and the key to save the Dark Fountain.
This is a long winded, convoluted way of saying Moth Spamton would LOVE Ralsei when he becomes an ember. He would cling to him like he's a heavenly angel :)

One guy. Er, I mean two, no, no! Four, four completely different guys, no correlation between them, no sir! Started this around same time as this KID one. It should be same style proportion-wise. As I was messing around for fun/on purpose of finding something that more cartoony? simpler in flow? Anyways, the design/style notes/thoughts under the cut, I did put lots of my exhausted braincells into Kaito/KID difference
Overall style inspos: 1) "I need to think of Sonic but like more human-y" 2) Miho Shimogasa (PPGZ/Kaito Joker/BatuSpi Toppa Bashin) 3) PSWG and SPvsW lol kinda, just from my head how I remembered em though
>Cone and Shin: Originally wasn't planning on putting shadows in his eyes, but without em he's straight up "People with blue eyes" meme. Creepy too much. Neat and sharp a bit. Cone is a pain to size correctly. I think I kinda got it right? But maybe he should had been just tad taller? You never know if he's like 95cm or 1m and something Side note, but Cone's shoes really make me think of Sonic's- >Shin and Kaito: Neat and bit sharp vs more laid back and messy. Also more puffy/round on corners? I basically want him to have puffy sleeves/sleeves that got some volume to em because it fits the magician in my eyes. Adds to hands/arm movement Also Shin's eyes of more your blue/dark blue shades, while Kaito's of blue-ish purple That's to say, I imagine/think Shinichi is the one who hunches more, while Kaito is the one who tends to lean back a bit/keep posture mostly straight (if he ain't sleeping in class lol) >Kaito and KID: Kinda pathetic and messy vs your perfect phantom thief. More shadowy/half-closed eyes vs "oh he's bright awake and ready to go stupid go crazy". Some guy vs the charisma itself. That's to say, shadows cover Kid's visible eye most of the time. And he also has that grin...or his mouth hidden at all. His hair appears bit more fluffier and neater, too. I also tried to keep that juxtaposition with Shinichi of "more sharps vs more round" with him as well. Overall, I like the thought of what if Kaito was more loser in canon, as in less people in school liking him, pitying for his family situation, etc, no entirely of course, because it's simply him, but feel it be more fun in contrast with Kid (and Shinichi) Also, for Kid's cape...just didn't felt like drawing it here, you can excuse me, right?
I think that's all I have to say, but if there's anything ya wanna point out/hear, please ask away!~

If you're taking requests, could I request a hero x villain thing where the villain wakes up in the hero's house, totally confused, and he tries to ambush her when she arrives with food? (She has telekinetic abilities, which helps with a lot. I imagine her house would look like the Burrow from Harry Potter - a bunch of things fixing themselves and all that.) But if you aren't taking requests, feel free to ignore this. I've got plenty of your lovely stuff to read. :)
im sorry this is so late!! thank you for the request, i enjoyed this one :)
When the villain finally regains consciousness, the first thing he notices is the scratchy blanket thrown over him. The second thing he notices, when he opens his eyes, is that the blanket is not his. Nor is the house he’s in.
It’s a world away from his home downtown—a low coffee table sits next to the little sofa he’s on, decorated with thick books that have clearly never been read and a blue vase that’s collecting more dust than flowers. The low afternoon sun streams in through wide windows and envelopes the table and chairs in the corner in a warm orange, the speckled colours of a light catcher draping over the woollen rug nearby. The villain wishes he lived in a place like this, but he’d never dream of being civilian enough to need it.
He has no recollection of getting here. Where was he last? Did he get entangled with a civilian somewhere? What the hell did he do to end up here?
The villain is so caught up in scraping his memory for a clue that he doesn’t hear the door squeaking open behind him. What he does hear is the gentle “oh, good, you’re—”
Now, panic is not a good look on a villain. But frankly, waking up in an unfamiliar home and being faced with a stranger that is approaching from behind gives the villain some instincts that’ve probably saved his life more than once.
He lurches up from the sofa with a snarl, earning a rather startled yelp from the newcomer and toppling the coffee table vase to the floor. The blanket he’d attempted to throw off in his attack has curled itself around him like a snake, and he gets no further than the back of the sofa before it trips him over.
“Oh, sorry!” the person says lightly. “That was a little more intense than I intended, but I suppose I wasn’t expecting you to leap at me either.”
The villain, trying not to let onto his embarrassment at this turn of events, glances up. A hero, one he kind of recognises, is holding a tray upside-down and looking back at him. No, actually, the tray isn’t upside-down. The villain is just on the floor.
“That won’t help you heal,” she continues with a short laugh. “Come on, lets get you back on the sofa.”
The villain goes to throw himself at her with nothing but his nails, but the blanket is wrapped around him unnaturally tight. The hero settles on the armchair opposite as it curls around his shoulders, hefting him to his feet before shoving him back onto the sofa.
“What the hell is going on?” is all the villain can think to say.
The hero smiles brightly, unbothered, and sets her tray on the coffee table between them before turning her attention to her shattered vase. “You were a little worse for wear by the time I got to you,” she offers unhelpfully. “Honestly, I was a little worried. You’ve been out for some time.”
The villain watches blankly as the vase picks itself up off the floor, hovering a few inches off the ground to meticulously piece itself back together. None of it would’ve clicked if he didn’t clock the hero staring at it like it’ll disappear the moment she looks away.
“You’re telekinetic,” he says flatly.
The hero turns back to him as the vase sets itself back on the coffee table. Its perfect presentation slips as the hero lets go of it, several pieces sliding out of formation and dropping to the table. “Maybe.”
She gives him a coy smile. The blanket still has a tight hold of him, keeping him sat on the much too comfortable sofa. The sun is moving, throwing some of her face into wild yellows that brighten her face more than a hero deserves. God, the villain hates all of this.
“You got a bad wound in your battle.” The hero gestures to her side vaguely. “You need time to recover, so I would suggest you stay here until you’re better.”
“I’d much rather be at home than trapped here with you,” the villain snaps.
“Oh.” The hero tilts her head in a way that the villain knows isn’t genuine. “Well, you shouldn’t move around too much. Do you have someone at home who can look after you?”
The bitter silence that follows brings another smug smile to her lips. “Then you’ll stay here,” she says after a moment. “My house will make sure of it.”
“Can you tell your house to lay off? Your blanket is trying to strangle me.”
The hero laughs brightly, and as she does the blanket’s vice-like grip loosens slightly. “I brought you some breakfast, by the way.” She gestures to the tray, which the villain now notices has a bowl of soup and several pieces of bread on it. “It’s proven difficult to feed someone that’s unconscious, so please do make sure you eat something.”
She gets to her feet before the villain can think of anything to dispute her. “I’m just going to clean up in the kitchen. I’ll be back in twenty minutes.” She points to the tray. “I expect that to have gone down when I get back.”
With one last smile she turns on her heel and lets herself out.
The villain stares at the closed door for a moment before turning his gaze back to the steaming bowl in front of him. For god’s sake, it does smell good. He takes it in his lap, nabbing a piece of bread with him and dunking it into the soup.
The vase is slowly disintegrating, pieces dropping out of place every-so-often. The villain watches it like entertainment as he eats, but eventually it starts to get on his nerves. A quick scavenge of the hero’s drawers finds him a tiny tube of glue.
All of this is a pain in the ass. At least this gives him something to do with his hands.

Chained Memories AU
(Day 1 of Monkie Destiny Challenge Prompt Month Oct. 2023)
Wordcount: 2.3k
Summary: Baigujing, in her final moments, remembers what was lost to her.
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
She’s tired.
She has no true name to her body, she has no real way of identifying herself when placed side by side with a decaying corpse—she’d call herself a phantom, nothing more, nothing less, and then with a shake of the head she’d change her mind and go for a more regal name. One fit for a person destined for greatness. For a world without pain or suffering, for one where the Heavens would be made anew and the Kings of the Underworld would carry on with helping the souls pass on in peace.
She called herself Baigujing.
Baigujing feels nothing to her soul. She has witnessed all the suffering of mortals and yao, the pain and heartache mothers and sons went through. It was loss upon loss, the feeling of stitches being pulled apart, a heart cut open and never allowed to heal itself. Yet, she felt nothing but a single pang across her chest before it dissolved into a breath of frost upon her lips. She felt nothing. She feels nothing and has come to terms that that’s how it would be for all her life.
Up until Sun Wukong.
Sun Wukong is not meant to exist: he was born by chance, a single rock that was flicked off its pedestal by the wind, and everything that’s happened after his birth has been a hindrance to her plans. He’s found cradled in her arms, only a few years old with no true wisdom or knowledge yet, and she stares at him with eyes devoid of light and warmth. I’ll make you proud, Wukong tells her, I’ll show you I’ll be the greatest hero this world has ever seen, and she witnesses it first hand.
Baigujing wants to regret having taken the Great Sage Equal to Heaven under her wing, but she can’t. She falls in love with the hope Sun Wukong shouts to the Heavens, the brilliance of light that pushes him to be on top of the world, letting himself fall back down into her arms because he knows she’ll catch him. He’s an enigma, he’s not meant to exist—and yet she smiles despite herself, listening to him go off about how his name is no longer Shi Hou and it’s now Mei Houwang. How certain words are banned from his kingdom, how he looks at her with gleaming eyes of gold and light and asks, “Am I the greatest king you’ve met?”
And she answers, “Yes.”
Even when he swears death to her name, screams that he’ll kill her himself—she finds herself proud of everything he’s accomplished. She’s withered and weak, a mere memory of the terror she used to be a thousand years ago. She was meant to bring the world to its knees—she was meant to rebuild it all, make it perfect for everyone to thrive in. Make it perfect for them. And he shatters that ideal, brings it to pieces right in front of her, even though he cries and screams and weeps; he causes her heartache in one fell strike, he brings her to tears and causes her to break apart.
She remembers a time when he doubted himself. Doubted his place as a rightful king and great sage.
“Is it true? Am I not worthy of calling myself Qitian Dasheng?” Sun Wukong says when they gaze upon an empty banquet. The monkeys have all gone to sleep, the yao and creatures that accompanied them for wine and fruit and fresh cut meat sprawled on the floor of the cave. The youngest monkeys shiver and hiccup, huddling onto each other for warmth, though Wukong keeps his feet planted where they are. “The Jade Emperor—his people aren’t what I expected. I thought they’d welcome me. Am I not worthy of being respected for my achievements?”
Perhaps raising a child had changed her.
Wukong frowns, clenching his fists. “Azure was right. I’ll never be anything else than a weak-willed—” “Do not speak ill of the Handsome Monkey King, young man,” comes the quiet remark, and she takes in the way he startles and looks at her. “I’ve watched him grow from a young monkey into a wise scholar and, when his kingdom was in danger, he became a warrior for them. A soldier. A protector. And I will not have you sully his name because some nameless celestials gave you a bad day.”
Baigujing crosses the cave’s path, beginning to make her way towards the mansion that was found behind the walls of the waterfall. She waits for the sound of footsteps following her, but when they don’t come she stops and sighs.
“There will never be a time where you are unworthy of your name, Sun Wukong. You were gifted that name for a reason,” she says quietly, beckoning him closer with an extended hand. He hesitates, stepping over sleeping leopards and qilin, his steps a quiet crunch of stone against soft sand. She takes his hand once he’s closer and holds it. She knows she’s cold, she knows she cannot provide the same warmth he gives to his children and subjects—yet she speaks quietly and softly.
“Please understand, Sun Wukong, that though you are nothing the world asked for, you are everything the people need.” You are a weapon, you are a savior, you are many things, and I know you won’t fail me.
He always appears more human than she expects him to be. So he brings his body to hers, wraps his arms around her, and presses his cheek to her shoulder. It’s meant to be comforting. He’s meant to seek comfort from a mother made of cloth and paper, cold and unable to feed him, uncomfortable with all her sharp edges and hollow eyes. Yet he stays there all night, murmuring how he’ll show the gods that he is worth the title of a sage. That he’s going to be the most extraordinary being the Heavens have ever seen.
And she, with all her demon qualities, cannot bring herself to control him anymore. She cannot do this when she’s sure it would make him suffer. It would make him bleed and weep real tears of anguish.
He could be loyal.
Chained and leashed for her to use as her own.
She knows how easy it would be to manipulate him; she knows to what length a child will go to make their mothers happy.
So she leaves him.
She kisses the brow where his crown will rest on, tells him to sleep alongside his grandchildren and little suns, and stays with him until she’s certain he won’t wake when she moves. “Goodbye,” she whispers against his ear, breaking the silence of the cave. It’s safer this way. She cannot sacrifice her plans for him. She cannot change her destiny. She cannot make him change for her.
Sun Wukong deserved to keep his freedom.
And it breaks her heart to know he gave it all up for the ones who hated him the most. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
“I’m tired,” she says with a shaky breath on her final day of life.
Or in other words, her last day of running from Sun Wukong.
Baigujing sees him from the corner of her eye. He’s gotten taller, brighter, and yet he looks battered and broken all the same. She left him in the hands of destiny, the sweet whispers that promised her justice and righteousness—and he looks so tired that it breaks her to pieces all over again. She pulls herself up, trying to sit more properly, but Wukong stops her. His hands are on her shoulders, eyes scanning her face, and he helps her sit against the wall. There’s cracks along the edges and her blood on stone.
It has not yet dried.
Wukong makes sure to rest her head carefully against the wall.
She’s not sure how she winds up sitting next to Sun Wukong, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, the very same soul she abandoned when he was only a boy to pursue a path that… led to nothing. Nothing at all. Only pain.
“Do you hate me?” she asks quietly. Her voice quivers and she doesn’t know why. Wukong won’t look at her.
“No,” he says.
“I did everything right,” Baigujing murmurs against the air. It’s as if the very essence of her soul is trying to get away from her. Abandon her. Leave her for dead. Her vision’s blurring and her cheek feels wet.
Though she doesn’t know why.
She says, “I found myself a champion. I made my army. I challenged Heaven. I tried to remake the world into something perfect and yet—” She takes in a sharp breath, unsure of herself. Her visions. Her calling. They’re replaced with the faint memory of tiny fingers running through her black hair, forming shapes of flowers and carefully decorated river streams. She sees herself holding a young infant, happy and waiting to see the sunrise, holding her hand as tight as possible, and breaks into pieces, mouth open to release a silent wail of regret.
She never got to see him grow.
She promised the world to him.
She swore she’d make storm clouds cry for him.
She made him clothes and carved pathways for him to choose what he wanted to do.
She watched him run with eager steps to a master who could teach him all the things she couldn’t and embraced him with open arms when he returned a scholar, a proper name to his unique soul, and kissed his head with glee over his proud achievements.
And she left him to die.
In all her selfish desires—Sun Wukong did not fit into her ideals. He was too powerful, too impulsive, too imperfect, too human for her to take him with her to destroy everything that was impure in her eyes. She wanted to start anew and forgot the faint fingerprints of tiny hands against her wrists that carried her through the years. So she cries now, because she cannot find the proper way to say she’s sorry.
“I lost Flower Fruit Mountain to a fire,” he says quietly. He doesn’t look at her either. Something soft brushes against her wrist. A flower.
It’s an illusion made of gold and ichor—yet she feels its warmth.
“The Samadhi Fire?” she rasps, finding it hard to breathe all of a sudden. As though something’s lodged in her throat. She gasps quietly, gulps down the little air she can muster, and tries to stay awake to hear her son’s tale.
“No. My—there was this Huntsman. Erlang Shen. He burnt down my mountain out of anger and,” Wukong breathes in sharply, exhaling that burst of air with a quiet sigh, “he made me his sworn brother. I’ve been with him in Heaven. I only left because…”
“Xiaotian.”
“Xiaotian,” he murmurs.
“His birth… I don’t know why I took him. I don’t know why I did it.” She closes her eyes, feels herself growing weaker. “I thought… if it were someone else. If it were someone that was made by Heaven’s wretched blood, I wouldn’t feel guilt. But he is so much like you, Wukong.” She thinks of bright smiles and golden-brown eyes staring at her, waiting for the words of appraisal. She thinks of tiny fingerprints against her arm, finding comfort to her side. “I hurt you both so much.”
“That’s not right,” Wukong croaks. She tries to open her eyes—but she can’t. She can’t see his expression, can’t tell what he’s thinking. She can only hear how his voice breaks right in front of her. And she can’t even hold him anymore. She’s too weak. “You left… and ruined a young boy’s life. You made him—me—us think we were only good for one thing. I searched for you. I missed you. I was found by someone who was too flawed to notice my suffering, I was dragged away by a soldier who would not hesitate to seal me away again—you left me.”
“I’m sorry.”
The world is quiet.
Her vision is white.
And then, she can open her eyes again.
It’s an empty void. It’s only them, standing opposite to each other, Wukong’s armor and red-eyes gone, the traces of the Samadhi Fire nowhere to be found on his body. Baigujing breathes. Her clothes are the ones she wore when she found him. White with traces of blue and lilac. Her hair is down, black rivers that have no end, the feeling of herself fading away strong with breath she takes.
She sighs, closing her eyes to savor the taste of life one more time, and says, “I told Xiaotian the road he’s chosen can only lead to one thing.” Baigujing looks at Sun Wukong. His eyes are filled with tears, hands and arms and body covered in scars that have not yet healed. His clothes are tattered, covered in smoke, and his fur burns with fire that could not be described by any words she knows. “Pain,” she breathes out, stepping closer to the boy she abandoned all those years ago.
She touches his cheek. Ice washes over him as he leans into her palm, eyes closed and tense, the fire fading away and turning into short, tiny tufts of light brown fur. He gets shorter, forces her to descend to her knees, and when he opens his eyes again, they’re a light shade of gold. Not yet made of a sun’s glow. She holds his face, bringing her other hand to touch it, and smiles shakily for the first time in years.
“But you can change that,” she sobs, smile widening when Wukong places his hands over hers. “Please, Wukong, take care of him before he thinks he’s undeserving of love.”
Wukong says nothing.
He steps forward, tiny hands coming to touch her face. He squishes her cheeks, curious yet firm, and, in the tiniest voice, says, “Goodbye mama.”
Baigujing smiles.
She brings him to a hug, squeezing him tightly, and with her final breath says, “Goodbye.”

Decided to do both ending 2 (my canon) and ending 3 to show how different yet similar the routes are!
++ some rambles/explanations under the cut:
ASCENDANT ENDING
THE PRENUP
this is sending me bc i have this long ass timeline that leads to them signing a prenup:
- astarion ascends, then breaks up with selene bc she didn’t want to become his spawn
- selene comes with karlach and wyll to avernus, but she doesn’t last long (she’s a lover not a fighter 💀) karlach convinces her to go back to faerun. she tells her that she has been on autopilot ever since, and she has not had the time to process the breakup. the constant fighting in the hells was not helping
- hesitantly she goes back to waterdeep, where she learns that she is being summoned back to evereska. she journeys there and gets celebrated as the savior of baldur’s gate. she starts creating songs abt her adventures. somehow, she still felt as an outsider in her family despite getting acknowledgment. she goes back to waterdeep where she feels more at home
- she slowly builds her reputation. the reunion party also happens during this time.
- 3 years pass by. she goes back to baldur’s gate ever since the brain. not as a hero, but as a performer this time 🥳
- they see each other again ever since the party
- zariel arc begins(!) selene recruits astarion (and the gang!) to help defeat zariel. this is where they rebuild their relationship, whatever it was. they make house of hope their homebase
- before the final fight, astarion, desperate and pissed off that selene was not jumping on his advances, propositions (again 😩) to turn her. they get into this massive fight. selene tells him that the only way that they can make this work is to enter a (magical, hell-powered) contract, where he can’t compel her and in return she can’t leave or betray him. astarion, who was planning all along to turn selene into a vampire bride (where he actually can’t compel her) instead of a spawn, agrees to it since the contract was heavily in his favor. BOOM PRENUP. they both sign it. astarion turns her the very same night 💀 they’re basically married at this point
- they defeat zariel yay, slowly take over baldur’s gate while also getting a vacation home in waterdeep while also traveling the world yadda yadda. then they have a wedding despite already being married for years bc why not ✨
THE WEDDING
at this point selene is a very famous singer, and astarion close to becoming the shadow ruler of baldur’s gate. their wedding gets called the wedding of the century— think the royal wedding, imagine the masses crowding on the gates trying to see what’s going on inside 💀 they hold it during the daytime to squash all the rumors of them being vampires. their motif is white and gold, and is heavily influenced by elven culture. selene’s gown’s train is around 20 ft long. their cake is 3 minscs and 8 boos tall. the festivities lasted for DAYS. lots of hedonistic debauchery occurred ehehe
THE SONGS
so i chose songs that had wedding vibes but also toxic when you listen to the lyrics. chemtrails over the county club is about choosing to live in your own safe and comfortable bubble despite the ongoing horrors outside (cue in my snow globe symbolism for them). there’s also this line where it says “it’s never too late, baby, so don’t give up” which makes me feel that there’s still hope in the relationship becoming healthy… eventually 🤡 (i mean, they actually have forever between them). you belong to me is very fitting bc astarion can let her roam the world freely, but ultimately she can’t leave him. (this also aligns with one of the voicelines a!astarion has if tav leaves with karlach to avernus as a spawn— he tells them that he allowed them to go with karlach bc he’s not some “controlling monster”. he could summon tav back beside him if he wanted to.)
SPAWN ENDING
THE WEDDING
as for the spawn ending, at first they want to hold it with just the two of them but then word gets around, and now everyone was excited for the wedding! they didn’t expect so many people would want to congratulate and celebrate with them. imagine 7k+ people wanting to attend 💀💀💀
they hold the wedding reception in the underdark, but made their vows privately under the night sky 🥹😭 MOON AND STAR MOTIF LFG 😭😭😭
THE SONGS
just a quick one: there’s this line in your universe that says “you can thank your stars all you want but, i’ll always be the lucky one” which i think perfectly sums up how he views tav/selene. bc who in their right mind would help a vampire— a monster, let alone give them their blood? only tav/selene. (which also aligns with his voiceline saying “other people don’t have a heart like that. you’re… you. no one is like that.”) ANYWAY ENOUGH RAMBLING THANKS FOR READING 😘

literally the best part of this whole stupid book iwlove weird obsessed horndogs thee villain archetype of all time. he’s so silly. “we could’ve had a life together”, he says to his lesbian ex-neighbour who he’s just shot with a crossbow bolt meanwhile her girlfriend who he’s also just shot is half dead across the room. god i love it here he said me and the bad bitch im going to fumble
#WHAT A FUCKING FREAK IJBOL!!!!!!#MORE PSYCHOSEXUALLY OBSESSED WEIRDO VILLAINS PIXELBERRY I KNOW YOU HAVE IT IN U.#their villains are usually so cringe and one note at least this one is memorable#mind you this could have used more buildup. up until like chapter 19 he still had the benefit of the doubt#his ass was NOT beating the twist villain allegations but the fucking freak allegations were a whole separate beast#and he could be presumed innocent in those. like sure i guess these are just average fanatic werewolf hunter antics.#like EYE had my suspicions. him sending that frat bro to sexually harass mc was a fucking freak move#but like in general he was coming off as someone who was just a normal amount of concerned about a friend of theirs falling in w a cult#like girl why am i following my cringe fwb into the pool house to be all ‘babe this isnt u :(’#i dont CARE i wanna go engage with the twist antagonist who at this point my mc still thinks is kind of normal/their friend!!!#but alas that’s just pb for you. we WILL NOT stick a landing ever. they make all the new writers swear to never write a villain that makes#sense or is well foreshadowed. ONLY side characters who you would never suspect bc they have like 5 lines in the whole book.#like you’ll never be duffy veilofsecrets you’ll never recapture that magic.#anyway. markus choicesalpha the fucking weirdo cringefail stalker incel loser you could have been…kermit looking out rainy window dot png#maeve speaks#playchoices#choices#pixelberry#choices alpha#channing lowe#markus barnes#side note this whole thing probably has a Much different vibe with a male mc#but as it is it’s like ijbol. channing is cringe and emotionally unavailable but how could you POSSIBLY compare to a buff werewolf bitch#he is so completely not a contender that its comedic to me. you think WE could have had a LIFE TOGETHER?#even if my mc had never ever met channing SHE IS A LESBIAN!!!! SHES GAY DUDE STOP IT LOL#and with a female mc and male channing its like yeah whatever average incel number 10 billion. wow youre going to kill me bc some other guy#is hotter than you? eyeroll. at least channing canonically gives great head.

if I ever were to write something about Nagisa realizing she has Feelings for Girls I'd absolutely have to tie it to her gender identity and expression
because Nagisa's expected thickheadedness when it comes to queer relationships wouldn't really come from her being emotionally unintelligent but moreso from her view on romance being incredibly gendered, like, this is most apparent in her fantasies about Fujipi where she's always the damsel, the one to be pursued ect. ect. and she clearly ties the role of being pursued to being a girl and pursuing someone to being a guy
and because she's percieved as tomboyish she's expected to be the active partner in a relationship, the reason why Nagisa wouldn't see herself in a queer relationship is because she herself would expect to play the pursuer (cough cough the Romeo) in this situation and that's just not something she wants
the moment she realizes she can be the passive person in a relationship even if she's with another girl it's like the floodgates have suddenly opened

A KPOP (CPOP?JPOP?) Idol Jinshi X Doctor's assistant Maomao
Now on Ao3!!
how he fell (hard?)
The sound of cheers could be heard even outside the stadium. Hundreds of thousands of people gathered in the arena, all waiting for the performance of a lifetime. At least, that’s what they’ll tell their families and friends. In truth, it was probably to get a once in a lifetime chance to spectate the three dazzling shamelessly beautiful men about to perform. Celestial, just as the name suggests, is a group of three with looks that could rival even the Greek gods themselves.
Rihaku with his incredible upper body mass muscles like those of wrestlers, and yet possessed the gentle gaze and a nature that was less intimidating than that of a golden retriever. Rikuson, who had managed to captivate the girls for his “gentleman behavior” whenever he got out and about. To give an example, he once went trending over the internet for several weeks because he held open a door for a mother and child that had their hands full, and then proceeded to help them to their car. Lastly, Jinshi who had managed to not only catch the eyes of both men and women, but also those from the older generations. “He reminds me back to my younger days” is what they would say when asked while giggling and blushing like maidens in love. It was truly a sight.
the men had been together for about 4 years. Jinshi, of course has had the longest career out of all of them being that he started as a child actor. And now at 24 years old, he’s become one of, if not, the most sought-after celebrity by young men and women, their parents and even their grandparents. But of course, just because you’ve been trained from a very young age and have become basically the epitome of grace and elegance, doesn’t mean you’re not prone to accidents yourself.
How did this even happen? Jinshi questioned himself as he sat waiting in the ER. In all his 18 years of career, this was probably the biggest blunder he’d ever made. Even when he was found drunk and passed out in the park that one time couldn’t have been worse than this. No, maybe that was worse. The big boss certainly gave me enough grievances to last a lifetime. He looked at his presumably, no definitely sprained ankle and thought if he could ask for the rest of his schedules to be canceled. He deserved the break, did he not?
“Sorry for the wait.” A gentle, wispy voice called out as they entered the room. The man that entered look to be about 50-60 years old and had wrinkles all over his face, despite that he looked to be a gentle soul. “We’ll run over some tests just to make sure none of the bones are shattered. But at the very least, this is sure to be sprained. I’m afraid you’re going to have to cancel all your activities for the next month or so.” Well, Jinshi didn’t have any problems with that. He was actually quite glad with the chance of a proper break. His manager, Gaoshun, however…
“Maomao, dear. Please run some blood test for me.” It was only at that moment that he realized someone else was in the room with them. A thinly, pale freckled girl was holding a tray with what he presumed to be medical tools on it. Wait, blood test? Isn’t that-
“After you’re done you can change into the hospital gown that is provided. Someone will come and get you soon.” The Doctor said and promptly left the room. He still couldn’t wrap his head around the word blood test. Was it truly necessary though? Jinshi didn’t quite think so. In fact, “You know I can just tell you what my blood type is, we don’t have to run a blood test.” he gave his best smile that usually was able to get people, no matter who, the things he wanted. He was expecting some swooning, maybe a bit of giggling and blush. Disgust, however.
That was the farthest thing from his mind.
Huh? Why isn’t it working.
The girl, Maomao, looked at him like he was the lowest of low, worse than a caterpillar itself. In fact, Jinshi thought, she might look at a caterpillar with more fondness than she did at him because why isn’t it working?? She managed to school her expression into a flat one before he could voice out his indignancies, however.
“You know that’s not how it works” she said, unimpressed. “Now, your arm please.”
“Can’t we just skip this whole part? I think this is quite unnecessary, don’t you?” Jinshi was not one to give up, and so he’ll keep trying however many times he could. No one could ever resist his inhuman beauty. No one. And so, he smiled. The brightest and sweetest one he could.
The girl did not budge. Not an inch. Nada. Instead, she raised an eyebrow, “sir, are you terrified of needles by chance?”
He can feel his smile stuck in place. “Whatever made you think that?” keep smiling, keep smiling, just keep smiling. “Surely you don’t think, I, a 24-year-old man, am scared of a mere silver, do you?” just. keep. Smiling.
She shrugged, “You may be surprised, but it’s actually quite common. Depending on the severance of those fears, one might even try and jump out the window.” She said with such nonchalance you would think she’s talking about the weather. Jinshi was honestly tempted to try. “Hm. How peculiar.” He kept his eyes on the window. He thought she may have noticed because she walked towards it and closed it.
“You know, you look quite familiar. And that’s saying something because I don’t even remember the faces of my colleagues two months into the job.” Mouth agape, He nearly scoffed.
familiar? does being 18 years on tv only got him to the point of familiarity??
This is outrageous. Did their marketing team have not done enough?
He was sure if he were to ask the girl’s grandma wherever-she-may-be about who he was, then he was sure even she would’ve given a better answer than “you look familiar.”
It would’ve been better if the girl hadn’t known of him at all because hey, maybe she grew up without the internet because there is no way in hell he could’ve looked just familiar. That would imply that she didn’t even bother to pay attention.
“You’re all done.” What?
“What?” he blinked out of his musings, only to realize she was already packing her tools except the hospital gown that was left for him.
“You’re done. I’ve gotten the sample.” Done? He looked down at his arm and sure enough there was a small bandage covering the part where he supposedly got injected. “Make sure to change into the hospital gown. Or do you perhaps need help?” She can not be serious. He could feel his face burning and judging by the disgust look that appeared on her face, seriously what is up with that. Maybe she took notice. “I can bring your bodyguard in.”
“No, no. I uh, I can do it myself” seemingly satisfied, she began to leave the room.
“Wait!” The girl stopped and raised an eyebrow. “Did uh, was your question only to distract me? From the injection that is. Was it a genuine question?” she seemed to ponder for a minute, thinking of the best way to answer him.
“Well, yes and no, I suppose. But it did work on you, didn’t it Mr. Jinshi?” and then without further ado, she left.
And maybe she took something else with her along the way, Jinshi mused to himself.
