i think the only reason they cancelled state is because they'd done it while covid was still huge and terrifying, and something like that takes AGES to plan out. idk why they can't just do state on zoom if they had to- maybe because it would be such short notice?? idk

we tried to audition for a TV show on zoom last august. it did NOT go well- i had social studies notes and also my lines written on the same sheet of paper and the first thing out of my mouth was "genghis khan annexed china in around 1205- WAIT NO"
