I was watching an old episode of a Critical Role show, and they were playing a Lupin III arcade game from 1983?! It was called Cliff Hanger and was based off the film. As the preeminent Lupin III blogger on the internet, the episode was Mame Drop: Laser Disk Classics if you want to take a look

I completely forgot to answer this ask but YES. Cliff Hanger (1983) is my white whale of arcade games; I have never wanted to play a game I will lose at so badly. There are only four (registered) cabinets in the U.S. (where I live) and someday I WILL drive several hours to one just to play it.

For those unfamiliar, this is a very-much-unauthorized mashup of the first two Lupin III films—The Mystery of Mamo (1978, dir. Soji Yoshikawa) and The Castle of Cagliostro (1979, dir. Hayao Miyazaki)—and perhaps the two most visually and tonally different Lupin installments to this day. A small American company got their hands on these films, cut them together into a new storyline that mostly followed Cagliostro but with a few action scenes (and also the hanging shot) from Mamo spliced in, and made a LaserDisc arcade game out of it.

Notably, you can see Chunk playing this game in the opening chase scene of The Goonies (1985) (2:50). Cagliostro was a major source of inspiration for that film, all the way down to Lupin/Data's belt-buckle wire (2:29).

I do kind of admire the kind of old school het fans who laboriously find a f/m pairing for every character. Mostly because the ratios are so skewed that it’s hard to dredge up the women, somewhat because whatever female characters there are will be clustered around the designated self-insert guy character. Somewhat because they are so paradoxically sensitive they will put a stone lesbian with a confirmed bachelor. And somewhat because in an effort to find a 1:1 ratio they can build incredibly intricate structures trying to pair everyone off around the imbalances.

So the way op says last night implies to me that the strawberry cutting is the next day, in which case, are there that many of you not washing your dishes after preparing food? Is it just common for cat owners to wash things and put them away cause we know things left on the counter risks kitty paws? How long are yall leaving dishes sitting out and reusing them without washing? Do you put the cutting board in the cabinet when you don't clean it or leave it out? What dishes do you consider valid to not wash before the next use? I have so many questions about yalls kitchen and food prep habits and I never want to eat anything yall made.

Lately my partner and I are obsessed with an imaginary PPV wrestling event we made up called "The Not-Quite-All-Night Fight."

Since this obsession mostly amounts to announcing it at each other in an overly enthusiastic commentator voice, I couldn't really tell you what it entails, beyond the assumption that it would be unreasonably long.
