according to my observations, people who are most often approached to date on the street tend to have Gemini Venus.

the connection between Scorpio Moon/Venus individuals and dark, gloomy art is fascinating. do you have like a beginners guide or just a small spiel of where to start? thank you :)

A beginner's guide is a really good idea, maybe I'll create one some day. As to where to start I suggest getting to know what many in the community now call your "big 3" which is your Sun Sign, Moon Sign, and Rising/Ascendant. Your Sun Sign is your "zodiac sign", the sign most people are familiar with in astrology. This is the sign based on the month you were born, for example if you were born between June 21 through July 22 then your Zodiac Sign or Sun Sign is Cancer. Your Sun Sign is your individuality, ego, some describe it as your life force, your vitality, it is the self, sort of like a base personality in which all other placements are integrated through. Many who first are learning about astrology I've noticed almost go through a "moon sign" phase. It is one of the planets or subjects outside of your zodiac sign many first learn about. The Moon Sign is your inner, emotional self. It is how you react to things emotionally, process emotions, it is your intuition, your nurturing side, your emotional needs, and it also has a connection to motherhood/parenthood. I sometimes describe the Moon Sign as almost a second zodiac sign because of how important our emotional selves are to who we are and how we live our life. The Moon changes zodiac signs every 2-3 days, so you will need to know the day, month, and year of your birth to determine what your Moon Sign is. Your Rising/Ascendant is another placement many first learn about when diving into astrology. The Rising, also called Ascendant, is a point in space, technically an angle in your natal chart. This determines how you come off to others, your raw self-expression, your impression or you could look at it as your "vibe", it describes your approach to the world, and it is also linked to interests and some believe physical appearance. To find your rising you will need to know your day, month, year, time of birth, and location of birth. After learning more about the Sun, Moon, and Rising, I would then suggest to learn about zodiac sign's elements and qualities so you can have a basic idea of how each sign can function in different areas of a chart/placement. Elements and qualities are also the basis of compatibility. Fire Signs are generalized by traits of passion, openness, individuality, independence, a temper, generosity as well as selfishness, and confidence. (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) Earth Signs are generalized by traits of dependability, loyalty, practicality, being grounded, patient, being a hard worker, and logical. (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) Air Signs are generalized by traits of sociability, intellect and/or a love of learning, objectivity, has social intuition or intelligence, fair, respectful, detachment, an open mind, but also arguing, debating, and being opinionated. (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) Water Signs are generalized by traits of sensitivity, intuitive, depth, gentle, calmness, healing talents, emotional intelligence, understanding, empathy, kindness, and attachment. (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) The qualities are a classification of how a sign's energy might flow or be expressed. There is one sign in each element for every quality. The qualities are Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable. Cardinal Signs are about taking action, leading, initiation, change, and assertion. (Aries, Cancer. Libra, Capricorn) Fixed Signs are about sustaining, managing, consistency, stability, and stubbornness. Do you think Capricorn rising and Virgo rising compatible just in general?

Astrologically speaking, they are. This is because they are both earth signs, making them both form a trine, which is a positive aspect. There is harmony between them, since they seem to have a similar rhythm and a similar way of behaving. They can easily understand each other.

Since it is a trine between risings, we can determine that the way they see the world is quite similar, and they may be attracted to the way the other presents themselves to the world around them. Quiet yet hardworking and sharp, Winwin is adored for how hard he works for what he is passionate for (eg. Acting, performing in nct). Also pretty witty and sarcastic with his wayv members and nct. Sagittarius venus and mars individuals are naturally athletic and have a knack for dancing and learning the key points of dance moves, it can explain why winwin is rlly good at dancing and grooving, plus predebut he was in a dance school in china I believe. His sag mars makes sense for why he delves into multiple hobbies or interests, this can be expressed thru his career or as a side-skill he would develop. A/N: Since the members' rising signs are not publicly known, I am basing this off of the rest of their charts. Y'all seemed to like the first one so I'm hoping to do the rest of the signs and maybe MBTIs too.

As much as it pains this Cancer Sun Chan bias to say, his chart is extremely well aligned for dating an Aquarius. His sun sign, Libra, is one of the most compatible with Aquarius and both are air signs. He does have a Scorpio placement and another possible (but unconfirmed) Scorpio placement. This could pose trouble, but it would ultimately depend on his partner's chart as if they had a Virgo or Capricorn Venus, they would balance each other out perfectly. Chan will find himself attracted to how independent and somewhat mysterious the Aquarius can be. They often are not afraid to stand up for themselves or others—whether in an aggressive or passive manner—something Chan would definitely respect.

Changbin's Leo Sun is a nice complement to an Aquarius Sun. Unlike an Aquarius pairing with another Air sign, pairing with a Fire sign brings an element of excitement to the relationship. They are naturally attracted to one another and often have an antagonism that seems more like flirting than true bickering. The more reserved Aquarius finds the more boisterous Leo charming and fun. Whereas Changbin would respect the Aquarian values of hard work and how they do not live in the past nearly as much as Leos. His Virgo Venus could pose problems, but like with Chan, his partner's chart could easily balance this out.

Hyunjin is a bit of a wildcard here. None of his placements directly conflict other than his Moon. But, none of them are exactly perfect either. However, he has two Aquarius and an Aries placement which I think could easily endear him to an Aquarius under the right conditions. He would appreciate how an Aquarius quietly supports him and remains fairly humble themselves. With that said, I don't think he would naturally seek out an Aquarius and conditions would have to be just right.

Jeongin is the sole Aquarius Sun of Stray Kids. While two Aquarius Suns have fairly good compatibility, I placed Jeongin in the middle because I think he would be fairly apathetic about the whole thing. However, his placements do match an Aquarian partner well. Also, in my personal opinion, while two of the same signs can work out, sometimes it's possible to be too similar. He would likely find the relationship grow boring or see the negative aspects of himself in an Aquarius partner. However, again, given the right partner with the right chart, it could work splendidly.

We have now reached the Virgos: Felix, Seungmin, and Jisung. Virgo Suns generally aren't too compatible with Aquarius Suns. Out of the three, Felix seems most likely to date an Aquarius because he has two Aquarius placements and two Libra placements which could complement an Aquarius Sun partner if they too had complementary elements further down in their chart. Personally, I feel like Felix could open up to an Aquarius quite well and if a relationship were to bloom between him and an Aquarius, I see it being a slow process that starts off as friends.

Seungmin does have a Libra Venus working for him when it comes to a relationship with an Aquarius. However, I do think his Cancer Moon may conflict too much with an Aquarius Sun, especially in combination with his Virgo Sun. It could work if he and his partner really worked at it and the rest of their charts were immaculately compatible. Seungmin may be a bit overwhelmed by an Aquarian's brashness in some situations and an Aquarius may not quite get his quirky side. However, both do have serious, thoughtful sides that would work well together.

Jisung does have some promising placements in his chart. However, his Sun and Mars clash harshly. His Pisces Moon is not ideal, but not a detractor either. Personally, I think Jisung could benefit from an Aquarian's air of confidence and fearlessness. However, I also think they would have clashing values and Jisung could unintentionally stifle and Aquarius while an Aquarius could accidentally neglect Jisung. So, while much of his chart might work well, I think its unlikely he would even gravitate toward an Aquarius Sun naturally. If he were to have a relationship with an Aquarius, it would be an introverted Aquarius with otherwise complementary placements (perhaps they would have major compatibility in their rising signs which would definitely move up their chances of making it).

Minho's Scorpio Sun is considered one of the least compatible with an Aquarius. Outside of this, his whole chart is fairly Water and Earth heavy which wouldn't go well with an Aquarius partner. Minho has to be able to be silly and have fun with a partner. An Aquarius partner could take his sarcasm a bit too literally or chastise him for goofing off despite his otherwise hard work. Minho may be a bit too intense for an Aquarius partner whose ideal partner is someone with a naturally confident aura (regardless of if they are confident or not). Minho's quieter and reserved aura—while somewhat similar to an Aquarian's own demeanor sometimes—feels too out of line with what the typical Aquarius looks for in a partner. The only way I see this working is if his partner is younger than him (he feels like he needs to take care of them), introverted, and potentially has compatible rising and Venus signs. it would be a fairly tall ask and I don't think there would be natural chemistry there to even start a conversation without a reason to.

Okay, I don’t have any sort of evidence towards this besides an incredibly inaccurate gut feeling and my brain trying to connect dots towards.

So we know that Selwyn is a Gemini

BreeBree is a Scorpio

And Nick’s birthday hasn’t been revealed yet.

Okay, so something kinda tells me what Nick can potentially be a water or earth sign, ( I’m not knowledgeable about astrology in the slightest, but after looking up the compatibility charts for Scorpio I noticed that Gemini and Scorpio has the lowest compatibility with one another, which would probably describe Sel and Bree’s relationship. And then if you look at the highest compatibility it’s Pieces, Capricorn, Virgo, Cancer)

And because Oathbound is coming out in March something just told me that like what if she sorta planned it that way? So bloodmarked was originally supposed to come out in July which would be right at the time of Gemini season so it would’ve been a Selwyn birthday book release.

But instead it was released in November on Bree’s birthday which… idk it could just be the way publishers work and small bits of pieces not being 100% but it felt intentional? Yeah this is all a whack a doodle thought but I need to release it into the aether so I can get back to my life and stop this insanity of this series taking over every aspect of my day to day thoughts.

So yeah…. in conclusion, I think that’s Oathbound being released in March might be symbolic for the trios birthdays. As a nerd I feel like having little Easter eggs and stuff like that would be really cute for the fandom and then once the series is over we can pull together all the pieces of the puzzle.

I hope I’m wrong because I don’t want to be dragged further down into my rabbit hole of this craziness any longer by the time we have to wait for another 2-3 years for the 4th and final book.

Also… while I’m here. I don’t really buy into the whole Sel as the ShadowKings son. I think perhaps Valec being related to him is more believable because clearly there is some sort of relationship between the two there; also seeing as how he was prayed that he was dead after meeting up with Sel and Bree in the forest after that whole “ I can still taste you” scene.

Although!!! What I will say is, how interesting it would be if Selwyn’s mother was the Shadow Kings daughter!!! Yes I did say I don’t buy into the whole Sel being the shadow king thing but I do think it’s plausible for him to be related to him. For the regents to be so convinced about that her bloodline is so important that they forced her to sire a child. There is clearly so much more about the Kane family that has yet to be revealed. I sit eagerly at the edge of my seat waiting for the pen to drop and all is reveled.

Again no real evidence to support this besides random hunches and feelings..

I do hope we see more Dragon Bree because dragons have been brought up since legend born and I would love to see some kick ass vengeful dragon fight scenes. I also really want to know how Nick feels. ( in general) His side of this love triangle is hanging by a thread because the readers haven’t been able to peak into his head and understand what he has been thinking and feeling for awhile.

While Nick is being discussed I still haven’t forgiven him for not considering Bree’s safety after that whole Gala incident. Why was Sel more aware of the shitty position he put Briana in !? Even Briana was so overcome with the “ we did it Joe” celebration that she was too busy getting tongued down that I don’t even think she even processes that fact. That part enrages me even now when I think about that man. Because I see so many people shit on Selwyn for being a loose cannon ( which he is!!) but for a loose cannon to be the person making statements like

“ if that is your wish” after she tells him she’s come to say goodbye

Or the whole ‘no other Merlin monologue’ where he doesn’t even confess his feelings to her ( In fact he hasn’t even explicitly said what he wants or whether or not he is in love with her. As a reader we know based on his actions there is something there but who knows if that tree loving cambion will allow himself those feelings) he simply just wants her to be happy and alive so that the world doesn’t break and go dark.

And of course let’s not forget how he seems to see Bree for who she is. And that is someone completely insufferable , stubborn, annoying, while also being remarkable, stunning and beautiful.

Okay I know I am clearly biased but, it’s just hard to see Nick the same way since that scene, and I really want a redemption story for him in Oathbound

Update: just another thought

Since Sel is one of the few if not one of the only Merlin’s who can transform in to a bird. What if instead of the Shadow King he’s more directly related to Merlin than what the Regents have brainwashed him to believe all his life.

Related how? I’m not sure but after sleeping on it I think this makes more sense because how can we as readers completely ignore the fact that during one of Bree’s bloodwalks where she sees Merlin she finds it funny that even Merlin was known for saying

“ I am aware”

Which we know is such a Sel thing to say!!!
