I'm not sure what you've answered yet but for the writers ask game can I get 3, 8, 9, 20, and 28 😁

3. Yes, I do! XD Not super often, most of the time it's just when I'm proofreading ones (like for giftfics, requests, or anything I have to type up and edit, or when I'm proofreading a fic I wrote on a different day, or if I'm preparing to write a companionpiece or sequel). Outside of the editing or writing sphere, I will sometimes, but nothing before 2020 now is my current estimate. Because my writing style developed Summer 2020, so if I read anything older than that, it's very monotone and grammar-rigid, I guess I'd say. Not fun is more accurate. XD I tend to reread fics with a purpose when I do, though there are exceptions to that rule. Rereading my own original poems happens way more frequently, because I love my poems, especially the ones that feel like prayers, but also the ones with really fun metaphors. And some of that is out loud and some of it is quiet, but poetry kind of derived from oral traditions of storytelling, and so is somewhat meant to be read out loud (with the exception of particular poems).

8. More reviews make me laugh than make me cry, and some reviews do make me tear up honestly from being so sweet. A lot of the funny reviews are usually ones that a particular friend of mine leaves on my stories, because he and I joke around a lot, and it's just sort of what we do. (Or he'll review a fic for a pairing he doesn't even like, because of the AU or something, and I guess I'm evil, because I laugh. It makes me happy though that he'll brave through reading fics that he doesn't care for the romance of that I've written.) <3 <3 <3 9. Yes! Not very often, because I'm not the best at writing humor, but more recently, within this past year or so, I've laughed while writing stuff. Usually stuff with somewhat wacky events or plots, or in the case of at least one of my fics, where my friend reviewed the fic, made me laugh, and I reread it, to try to find the humor he saw and laughed when I reread it. :) 20. I prefer to edit as I go, if I spot a little typo or something like that here or there. I'm not a big fan of editing, and I haven't edited all of my fics. XD If a fic was written on something other than the computer (notebook or other device), I have to type it up, and when I do, I edit it then. On a story or poem that takes more than one sitting (rare for a poem unless something calls me away), I'll come back and reread what I wrote (even if it's just wrote) and edit then. Other than that, I'll edit it if I'm proofreading after. So, I guess it's sort of a both thing in terms of what happens, but I'd rather edit as I go. (Since I got myself into the habit of writing with pens lately, I've been crossing stuff out or writing words over top a line as I go, when I realize what I wrote needs help.) (Beforehand, since when I handwrite I typically use pencils, I'd just erase most of the time.) 28. Ooh! I haven't been actively working on the oneshots on my computer, but I might share a line from either a published work in progress multichapter fic or something I haven't typed up yet. I'll go with something I haven't typed up yet. (The other way feels like cheating.) XD Actually, now that I'm thinking I did start a new My Roommate Is A Cat oneshot recently (like a week or two ago), I'll share a bit of that if you don't mind. :) It's from the opening paragraph, and I guess, my writing isn't all that exciting here. XD "Home is a hard to define place, and yet Tora and Kuro make it possible, even though they have to fight to survive. Their home is a life of hardship, and yet they are friendly, opening up doors to others' hearts when those that come in really need it." On a different note, you did really good! “Good evening, I’m Taylor Hayes, back with ongoing coverage of the constitutional crisis in Corwyn on CNS.”

“Corwyn continues to reel as more and more details are released about the document released yesterday by Dr. Henry Gryllis, professor of Corwynian history at Stillford University in Varenna and an expert on the Pelbrooke Charter. Gryllis believes that the document he has discovered is an authentic companionpiece to the original charter – one which, if true, calls the validity of Corwyn’s existing constitution into question and could provide support for claims of absolute power by the nation’s ruling monarch, King Henry VII. Here with a more in-depth analysis is Royal Correspondent Phillipa Wren.”

“Thank you, Taylor. Cherbourg Palace has been ominously silent regarding Gryllis’ revelation, despite our repeated requests for comment. Whether this means King Henry is actually considering whether to press his claims to power over the Corwynian parliament or simply attempting to confirm the veracity of the document’s origins is unknown. Yet the uncertainty is causing ripples to spread throughout Corwyn’s halls of power and even among the general population.”

“Even Corwyn’s prime minister, Wendell Oliver, seemed unsettled by Gryllis’ claims, refusing to even address the issue as he was leaving his residence at Easton House this morning.”

“I don’t have anything to say about that document at this time, and I would ask that the press refrain from spreading unfounded rumors about its impact until the government can confirm its authenticity. To do so is irresponsible and does nothing but generate panic.”

“Members of parliament took a similar, conservative stance, but several were more outspoken – accusing his majesty of attempting to seize power from Corwyn’s legitimate government.”

“It’s obvious that King Henry wants to take advantage of this opportunity to gain absolute power over Corwyn and its people, and I, for one, refuse to let that happen. Absolute monarchies are no more – and for good reason. To even consider a return to such an archaic form of governance only demonstrates how far from reality our sovereign has strayed – and proves how critical it is that Corwyn act now to abolish the monarchy once and for all.”

“But while members of parliament have had consistently negative reactions to the current situation, how has the public responded? To answer that, let’s go to capital correspondent Michael Forbes in downtown Varenna.”

“Thank you, Taylor. So far, public reaction to Dr. Gryllis’ assessment of the newly discovered document has been mixed, with some criticizing the crown and others supporting it.”

“I find it fascinating that we’re even having this discussion, honestly. Whether the document is authentic or not is not relevant. The question is really whether Corwyn, as a nation, is willing to simply stand by as our freedoms and elected representatives are displaced by a form of government that no longer has any place in today’s world. If we do, then it’s on us, really.”

“I mean, how much worse could we do with a king in power? Parliament certainly hasn’t done anything for me, that’s for sure. The only people they care about are people like themselves -- not people like me. So I don’t know – maybe it’s time to see what our king can do?”

According to a CNS poll earlier today, more than 82 percent of Corwynians believe the current crisis has crystallized much-needed conversation about the monarchy and its role in government.”

“King Henry VII has just announced plans to speak to parliament during a closed session tomorrow morning to address the crisis. We’ll be right back with more, so stay with us.”
