I have been bit with the “ship All Might with everyone bug” and also the “wait Endeavor’s actually a fascinating character bug” and so I’ll let you fill in the blanks hahaha 😖😖 I actually think it’s a really funny dynamic to think about (though also has the potential to be quite tragic and poignant). Endeavor’s so absolutely obsessed with All Might that he’s angled his entire life toward beating him and sacrificed everything he had (including his family) to focus on it—there’s something distinctly unusual about that level of devotion (👁️👁️) that I’d definitely classify as obsession. It actually reminds me of Stain a bit!! I also think Endeavor’s absolutely the repressed type lol. I’ll probably draw more things in this ship even if they’re mostly silly!! Enji definitely has an unhealthy obsession that deserves to be explored (and teased). Thanks for the question!!! I love answering these

interestingly appalling point of "body positivity… or else!" is being in a fashion subreddit over the course of the Wicked press tour + the current awards season that has a zero tolerance policy on ANY body/weight/eating disorder commentary, even when it's people who are horrified that Ariana Grande VISIBLY looks very near death's door, so every fucking crooked eyebrow pastel pink post has its comments locked in under an hour

and I get that it's to avoid cyberbullying gossip culture type shit and the "bad old days" Joan Rivers, Wendy Williams vibes, but it is that bizarre catch 22 of are you still going to feel self righteous while the pro ana pro mia pro ozempy pro cokehead pages idolize this, and are you going to feel self righteous when she dies? the relentless social mockery of Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston did not save them, but neither did the people who sat by and watched them both wither away in silence until they ODed, so... what now?

guy came into the library today looking for the religion section, and when i pointed him toward the 200s he first had to stop and show us his dog (and a painting his daughter did of his dog, which was really quite good) because the dog, he said, had a perfect image of the 'cross of christ' on her chest and 'the holy spirit at her neck'. these were blotches. like that dog did not even halfway look like she had a cross on her chest she had a blotch . black lab with white blotches . cute as all get-out and apparently a very good dog, but there was not one single religious icon to be found and i had for a second there the kind of searing autism moment that got me in trouble in grade school because i simply couldn't let other people's enthusiasm about obvious inaccuracies go to the point of yelling arguments with classmates and teachers. like it is was simply blatantly incorrect that this dog had a cross on it and i had to turn away from the conversation for a second so i wouldn't say that to him to his face. but later driving home i had the thought that this man, this deeply religious fellow, maybe he didn't know that his dog didn't have a cross on it, maybe he looks for religious things everywhere so he sees them, he was so enthusiastic and so intense that he clearly believed what he was saying despite it being such a stretch - but maybe that (and this was the really revolutionary thought for me) maybe that was how he showed his love for this dog. that she is such a good and loveable dog that he gives her the greatest compliment he can think of, which is that she has been blessed by god to carry the signs of the faith that is so important to this man. and while i am absolutely certain that the man and i could not have a full conversation about, like, any topic without getting Into It in a bad way, i'm charmed now by the fact that he looked at his cute blotchy dog and said oh my god that's the crucifix. jesus is on my dog because she's so phenomenal. god wants to tell me how great this dog is. like there's no cross there. it's just a blotch. but i bet the dog really is that good

I have an unnamed modern AU where Junko and Hinata were roommates (omg they were roommates) get into an accident. Junko dies while Hinata is left with injuries that interfere with their quality of life and head trauma that obstructs their ability to feel present in the world, leading them to become bitter and unhappy. Drinking and smoking and getting into fights on the street. Classic delinquent behavior, because they're desperately grappling for anything that makes them feel like a person again.

Nobutoshi has become a doctor and despite complaining about what a bad idea it is, he often helps Hinata. Sometimes writes them prescriptions and gives them options, but his ableism blinds him to having any real compassion for Hinata. Because he kind of blames them for the accident, and secretly wants them to be uncomfortable for the rest of their life as punishment.

Tetsuya was being passed around relatives, developing a hell of an abandonment issue before he decided he wanted to be closer to Junko's friends and family-- and Nobu and Hinata were her chosen family. So he takes turns living with them. He started by living with Nobutoshi, where he would often interact with Hinata during visits. He knows Hinata is a delicate case, but wants to make that connection.

And at first Hinata resents Tetsuya for being a reminder of their dead friend and for being another responsibility, especially when the kid WANTS to live with them. But then the domesticity brings them a sense of satisfaction and happiness. So they put those knife fight skills to good use and start making good, nutritional food for Tetsuya when he stays with them. Nobutoshi and Hinata still have romantic/sexual tension, but they also hate each other a lot, so it remains messy between them. Divorce Breathing is forever canon.
