so we've made it halfway through the year, and i'm starting summer in serious burnout (perhaps not helped that i turned 35 this month, although the matching numbers between my age and latest video ���🏻). the plan right now is to take off at least july and august to give myself some time to figure things out - both for myself and future videos. i'm going to attempt to still create during the downtime but without deadlines or the need to share online.

i've been really struggling to keep up with my planner/journal in general as well (since the beginning of the year, if i'm really honest with my self). idk if it's the preprinted layout, a5 size getting to me, or what, but i'm going to try a b6 common planner for july that i was graciously gifted by @jules.journaling. if things end up going better, i'll probably offer up my second half hobonichi avec in a similar fashion.

I think about my own characters way more than any characters in media so I started with what characters came to mind first and the first 3 were from obscure series while the last two would have been very well known so I decided to instead come up with total of 5 all from obscure series instead so it would be more balanced. I think my faves really rotate depending on what media I am currently consuming.. Only 1 of these has an anime let's see if that one wins.

Mayaps NEXT New Year switch medical binder/bujo padfolio to a filofax (or knockoff) system bc shells seem more durable (filofax users tell me if I'm wrong, I want a zippered one) than the twenty-dollar padfolios I'm buying every few months bc they keep disintegration, AND gridded refill paper is somehow more accessible in an A5 6-ring format than gridded paper in a standard 8.5 by 11 format that I usually have to hole punch myself? Also it's easier to stuff in my emergency backpack when I go to the hospital, last time a doctor stopped me as I was leaving because they thought it was about to fall out bc I couldn't zip my backpack up around it, and it was an awkward three minutes as they futily tried to help me
