This is a thing I’ve thought of before, but honestly I’d really like to see essentially a reboot of the 80s Transformers cartoon. Or I guess specifically what I want, taking the plots from the g1 show and then putting them into a modern TV series with current day writers

Because like, I feel like g1 has so many interesting ideas, both in episode plots and general lore and character things, and I need to see them in a series that isn’t a glorified toy commercial the original technically is (I mean okay, the shows always kind of are that, but by modern day they’re not only that. You get what I mean)

Granted at some point, the two series would probably have to diverge in plot, considering that this reboot would probably have an actual continuity to the plots instead of how g1 doesn’t really have much of that outside of introducing new characters, and with continuity and I assume less silly g1 logic, I don’t think the plots can stay the same. But I’d be really interested to see where it goes

Am I making sense? I feel like I’m over explaining, and by doing so, making even less sense

I want the plot of g1, or at least large chunks of it, to be taken and then put into a modern day show, and see how the writing of modern day series changes it. Because a lot of it’s interesting to me and I think it needs more
