as much as i always talk about the flaws of the healthcare system in US, i dont think people realize that advocating for the commodification of healthcare is not actually a good thing that we should want.

#getting more pills asap or at your convenience type thing or equating treatments to customer service is like a direly dangerous path #obviously its more to do with access but it does sometimes feel people like to collude/misconstrue access with like #commercial products and services #rather than ... healthcare. sustaining and supporting QoL #it sucks because a lot of ways to combat bad healthcare currently in capitalism IS to deny them business as a motivator ie finding proper #pcps or psychiatrists #but thats more of a day to day survival strategy not a long term infrastructure if that makes sense
